Tarot Readings for You for June 10, 2016 Friday

GUIDANCE       In praise today of manly virtues and manliness in general. The man of action who takes the initiative: That’s Him, that’s our guy! He is the leader who gets the action done, and he’s charming too.  A gutsy grownup like this man unabashedly (openly, unashamedly) is the diplomat and the softie just as easily as the commander.  He is the friend to have:  He is in a position of leadership and can do you a meaningful favor. Here’s to him!

MagicianMagician’s illustration shows him with the tools of the magician trade on a table before him (which are the suits of Tarot), raising his right hand to heaven with a wand in it, and pointing earthward with his left to bring an event he wills to happen downward from heaven, with himself as the channel for it. He wears the energy halo you see in some other cards that are on the esoteric (occult) side. So Magician is a man who does something, brings something about.

.

The illustration represents ‘the male principle’ of the dogma of magic. The male principle is being active on the plane (zone, area, subject) in question and passive on whichever other plane is part of the story.

.

Magician’s meanings are pretty simple: All forms of the verbs ‘do’ and ‘make,’ any word that means to start, begin, or initiate, any singular male pronoun, and first-person pronouns ‘I,’ and ‘myself.’ Magician can translate: do it myself, do it yourself, do it himself.

.

Note that this card, Magician, can mean any of those verbs with any of those pronouns, in a package. In other words, all by itself, Magician says: I did, I am doing, you are making, what he is doing is – and so on forever.

Knight of Cups Here’s that warm puppy. Here’s the guy we all are fond of who who can sell us anything. He accepts and he gives – suggestions, favors, affection. He takes initiative, he makes the first move easily and graciously: He is the boyfriend who calls, the person who makes an offer in a transaction or in business (the presenter), the peacemaker, the good friend, the person who helps out, who does a favor. Knight of Cups is Everybody’s Friend. To women, he is the boyfriend who isn’t ‘a guy.’ To men, he is the fellow who doesn’t have to be the herd bull, doesn’t have to be Number One.

.

Knight of Cups is the facilitator, the able assistant, the quiet fellow who’s easy to get along with and has lots of friends. He gets people together who want to get together with him.

King of Swords Here’s that strong-silent-type Sir King of Swords, a man of few Tarot meanings as well. King of Swords, the leading man and the man who leads. (The manly man and the leading man.) Daddy, boss, man of his word, John Wayne, the responsible and the disciplined dude. Mainly, The Authority, and any authority of any sort. The man in a powerful position.

.

His darker side is being dictatorial, being militant, being the hardass, being rigid like Emperor. Yes, this is THE card for anything or anyone military.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.. ….. …     ..

All about men … you see that, first thing. First thing too: Magician represents the male principle (of action). Then we have two men, the first being Knight of Cups. He is the good-natured affectionate warm puppy who takes the initiative romantically, who is diplomatic, who makes an offer, and is agreeable to offers: the salesman. Next, we have Sir King of Swords, the disciplined manly man, the leader of the pack, the one who is respected by all because he is strong and fair.

.

Note that both Magician and Knight of Cups take the initiative. Knight of Cups is most famous for being the easy-to-get-along-with softie who facilitates things happening by relating well to people.

.

A word on the Knight of Cups and King of Swords combination: These two Tarot cards represent the main things women look for in a man, and they are sort of opposite traits. One is the warm puppy – ‘nuf said – Knight of Cups. The other is the strong man who’s a natural-born leader, King of Swords. When you see two ‘court cards’ (cards with titles of Page, Knight or Queen, which represent persons) together, they can refer to one person who has both traits. So these two represent a natural-born leader who is also the agreeable fellow who takes the initiative.

AND NOW WITHOUT THE PICTURES:

.

Getting something done often takes a strong leader who gets people’s attention plus a likable person who’s there to help and suggest how to do it. That’s our story today: It gets done because these two fellows collaborate who are those types of people.

This spread is describing my friend exactly. I want him to make the romantic move. I know in the past comments I explained what happened a week ago but he still is flirting, teasing and given me those eye contact stares that gives me no doubt he is still interested.
