GUIDANCE     Before your very eyes, a person’s image changes drastically. He goes from being the kid to being the polished young man, or he goes from Prince Charming to the brat. Comes a time a person busts loose from the constraints and limitations he or she subscribed to – like a seed coming up out of the ground and making a flower or bearing fruit.

.

SunSun belongs to the ‘leaving’ theme because our li’l brat leaves the house.

He belongs, along with King of Wands, to the impulsive uninhibited theme because, well, just look at him!

He belongs to the ‘fun’ theme because the little tyke is having the time of his life. The ‘fun’ theme includes vacations, enjoying life, letting your hair down, and spontaneity.

He belongs to the children theme (along with Six of Cups) because he is one, but he also translates ‘young’ along with our Page of Wands today. He will appear as the son, too, especially if the cards have chosen a daddy for him in your spread.

He belongs to the ‘free’ and ‘freedom’ theme along with Fool (who is also young) because he slipped out of the restrictions of the house rules. Slipping out makes him a card-carrying member of the ‘avoid’ theme too – and that’s a well-populated one.

.

Sun is associated with being charming because he’s so darn irrepressible. He is a party boy, and he is ‘baby boy’ whether that’s meant fondly or not. Sun, you could say, applies juvenile behavior to adults.

Page of Wands Page of Wands is easily what Sun grows up to be. Page of Wands is likable, is both the Straight Arrow or polished Prince Charming and the flirt. He is definitely one of the good-guy theme cards, famed for being good-looking, well-dressed, well-mannered – even polished – and proud. He is also known for standing up for what he believes in, and saying how he feels. (When Page of Wands is saying how he feels and standing up for what he believes in, this card can apply to a female as well.)

.

Page of Wands is also well-spoken – the spokesperson of a company at times. This is the card for making a speech. Page of Wands belongs to the speak/say/tell Tarot tribe, so you can see him mean ‘he is,’ ‘he says’ and such things. This card can also translate words that mean talking, such as today’s ‘discussion.’

.

Page of Wands belongs to the ‘identity’ theme. Page of Pentacles does too. They can translate pronouns, especially ‘I,’ ‘he,’ and the -self pronouns. Page of Wands also (like Hierophant) can translate ‘name’ or ‘in the name of’ as well as refer to ‘type of person,’ with another card identifying the type in question. And Page of Wands means reputation too – the good name kind of reputation.

Tower – The Tower of Babel is the illustration. That’s how Tower can represent overthrow, or the destruction of evil (because the Tower of Babel has an evil reputation). Tower comes up in political topics: “Throw the bums out!”

.

The building is broken, shattered, and people are falling out of it: a dramatic shocking event, also sudden and unexpected. All these words belong to Tower. ‘Sudden’ and all sorts of forms of ‘break’ are common translates of Tower’s. And of course, this is the card for a lightning strike or fire in a building.

.

Tower represents odd things that its illustration has something in common with, but not what you would think of readily. For example, Tower means busting loose, busting out, a breakthrough. A stroke or other medical emergency. A bankruptcy or going broke. A temper-fit because it means all sorts of eruptions (such as bleeding from trauma). Confrontations and dramatic emotional scenes of all sorts.

.

Tower can indicate some object is cracked or broken, too. That’s easy to miss. It can mean ‘a break in the case’ or breaking news, for instance.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.. …..      …..

.

Sun is young and funloving and free … and a brat too. Page of Wands is young and well-behaved, a straight-arrow Prince Charming. Tower, of course, is some sudden unexpected thing – from a breakdown to a breakthrough. Tower owns ‘suddenly.’ It’s also about eruptions, confrontations, shock, being evicted, bankruptcies and a bottle of ketchup breaking on the floor ….

.

Several stories arise from these Tarot cards. They give us several elements to work with. We have the young boy and the young man, and ‘sudden.’ Like suddenly growing up, or the reverse. We have the kid and breaking things. We have rejection (Tower of course) and the flirt (Page of Wands). Sun is fun and Page of Wands is the handsome young man, and Tower is breaking up – so she breaks up with Prince Charming when he just wants to have some fun.

.

We have the well-behaved man letting his hair down suddenly, busting loose and having a breakthrough. We have the kid suddenly being the polished young man … or vice versa.

.

We have stories.

Two years ago, you did a reading for a friend. She wanted me to tell you it came true yesterday. She wrote down your reading and went back over it. You told her the guy would come back, but by then she wouldn’t want him anymore. Presto. Exactly as you said.

  2. Tina

Wow! This is too scary for me to even put into words. This is exactly what is happening with my ‘friend’ and I this morning especially the following:

One spur-of-the-moment remark, and he blows up.
Avoid a scandal with your reputation intact.
Shocking when such a polished man behaves like a brat.

    • Awww. Sometimes I’m sorry when I’m right, you know?

      • Tina

No worries because he is back and forth all day Wednesday and still got me on his mind today and we are both out of work today. Have to give his 2 cents in an email to me…
