Guidance We get together with other people to get something accomplished as a team, especially when there are obstacles to what we are doing. We have help, we give help, we evade obstacles, we find shortcuts. In the same way, when it comes to personal relationships, sometimes we are doing our part, sometimes our partner is, sometimes we both are … and sometimes not. We analyze, we seek solutions, or we can’t and we quit. It is pictured here as a trek like a pilgrimage, with detours.
Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:
*Go to Guidance (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Guidance is everyone’s favorite part.)
*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading below. One or more of those sentences has something to say to you. Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them. They are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. (It is a group message like a horoscope, except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data, so it can be specific, accurate, detailed and direct. Our experiment here is “How much more accurate is it?”)
Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow.
Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things, especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Without a question also thepronouns in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Three of Pentacles
Eight of Cups – Hermit – Eight of Swords
LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING
Eight of Cups and Hermit are (1) on the road alone, on foot and (2) somewhat connected with religion and (3) are night scenes. Eight of Cups is on a pilgrimage and his progress is disrupted. Hermit is a monk on the road at night to help travelers.
Eight of Swords is about limitations, being unable, being stymied or tied up (no wiggle room), even being dead, paralyzed or in a coma. Most often, it simply means ‘can’t.’
Three of Pentacles is a meeting, a business meeting, a deal, relationship, contract, agreement or experts meeting together to resolve or at least agree on a mutual concern.
So our theme is getting something done together when there are obstacles to it.
LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES
Eight of Cups shows a pilgrim who is walking at night, who is forced by the terrain to go out of his way. The moon shows both a new and a full moon: end one thing, begin another. Take a detour. Get intercepted or disrupted in your direction.
Hermit He too is patiently out at night on religious duty. He is looking for travelers who need help in the cold at night. He carries a light. He is help, a friend, sincerity, coming to another person.
Eight of Swords Being helpless, unable to (whatever), can’t (whatever). Being locked up (in jail or prison), stymied by situations or other people, boxed in, in a bind. Even being dead or in a coma. This is the actual death card in Tarot Verbatim’s ™ Rider Waite.
Three of Pentacles Let’s make a deal. A contract, an agreement, teamwork, putting heads together, meeting, business meeting, doing business. The architect is showing his clients, with the blueprint, that he did his job and is entitled to his final and largest payment.
