GUIDANCE    There’s a time frame to change that, when you don’t make the change, the bus leaves without you, and you end up staying.  When it’s over, it’s time to leave, in other words: This is our meditation for the day.

.

.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!

People love this place! Our site is divided into three sections: Guidance; Group Tarot Cards Readings; Learn Tarot by Observing and Learn Tarot by Pictures.

So what do you want to do? –

Did you come here for YOUR PREDICTIONS? daily trends? –

*Then you read the summary above, titled GUIDANCE,

*Then you read the one-sentence readings below titled GROUP TAROT CARDS READINGand you’re done: See you tomorrow. Invite your friends. At the very bottom are comments. New! – the black boxes to the right as you scroll down allow you to comment right there.

GROUP TAROT CARDS READING is the actual word-for-word messages from the pictures of the three cards you see – to everyone. These readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. GROUP TAROT CARDS READING

Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.

.

Tarot Readings: Two of Swords and Eight of Cups

.. …..

Do nothing: Don’t go out of your way.

This couch potato has not changed its ways.

Not interested and that’s not changing.

Is staying with it, not giving up.

Don’t quit meditating.

Take a breather but don’t drop out.

Don’t go anywhere; stay right there.

It doesn’t change – get used to that.

I don’t leave because I can put up with it.

You haven’t given up yet, you are putting up with it.

Do nothing: Don’t go out of your way.

Nothing changes if I don’t do anything.

Isn’t participating and that’s not going to change.

They aren’t going to leave where they’re comfortable

There’s no immediate change, that’s just the way it is.

The deceased is not leaving so abruptly.

Tune out but don’t be a no-show.

Can’t get out of here so I’m staying put.

.

Tarot Readings: Two of Swords and Four of Swords

.. … ..

Out all night, not getting sleep.

Gone without notice, and I never get used to it.

It’s the wee hours, and you are not asleep yet.

Suddenly the wait ends.

On the night shift, not getting your sleep.

Meditates, then doesn’t abandon course.

Don’t just stay with the status quo: Get out now.

I never get used to these abrupt departures.

.

Tarot Readings: Eight of Cups and Four of Swords

. …..n

Don’t let your sleep be disrupted.

Meditating on not getting off the path.

Remission – suddenly it’s over.

Waiting to detour around this roadblock.

It’s not over yet just because nothing is being done.

.. …..     ….

Now, Part Two,

Did you come here to ACCESS YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS? –

*Then you read HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS – resonates with your subconscious awareness! – and you’re done.

Did you come here to RESEARCH CARD MEANINGS? –

*Then you go to LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING and LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES for single card meanings and for what those cards say today as they get along with their companion cards, which is important for Tarot Verbatim™, whose expertise is combinations of Tarot cards’ meanings.

*Then you go to Now we show where each of the phrases in each of the sentences comes from: for phrases individual cards make in the day’s sentences. This applies the knowledge.

*Then you read HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS – resonates with your subconscious awareness! for language created by each pair of Rider Waite Tarot cards, in Tarot Verbatim™. Now you are done, if you chose to do it all. Comments are at the very bottom.

Did you come for combined meanings of other cards than these?

*Then you can put names of any two cards into Google, and get their combined meanings. You can also write in one card followed by ‘Tarot Verbatim,’ and get paragraphs of meanings for it.

.

.

.

LEARN SINGLE TAROT CARDS BY PICTURES.

GET A SINGLE CARD’S MEANINGS: TYPE ITS NAME AND ‘TAROT VERBATIM’ INTO GOOGLE

.

Two of SwordsYou can sense this is one of the negator cards (cards that modify neighbors negatively). These cards most frequently mean negative words, of course, words like don’t has not, that’s not, not, doesn’t, haven’t, not going to, there’s no, and I never, ends. ‘ Roadblock,’ says Two of Swords, and ‘it’s over.’ And that’s what Two of Swords is doing here.

.

This card resembles High Priestess, a seated woman with the sliver moon, and it too is a 2. Here’s a picture of impasse, of nothing happening (as Four of Swords is). It’s night time and she is in a sleeping gown or underwear, sitting with her back to the water, sitting on a stone bench, and she holds onto heavy double-edged swords, blindfolded, in such a way they are counterbalanced.

Eight of Cups A picture of a fellow (a pilgrim, really) who is detouring on his way to his intended destination – his journey disrupted by a mountain and a river. Presumption is that he will resume his course when he can. The full and sliver moon stuck together designate a beginning-and-ending theme, and also bring us a night scene.

.

As a matter of fact, all three of our Tarot cards show night scenes today.

.

Eight of Cups has many words and phrases to its name, but its theme is well-defined:

a change of course (detour, going out of one’s way, disruption, dropping out or turning off);

aborting course (quitting, giving up, canceling, getting off the path or running off the road);

change;

leaving (outta here, leave without notice; abrupt departure)

suddenly (abruptly, unexpectedly);

and the ‘not yet’ meanings that arise from the two moons (over with before it begins).

.

And Eight of Cups can mean the wee hours, or in the middle of the night, or night travel (Hermit does the night travel too).

Four of Swords He is lying on the sarcophagus or coffin cover of the relic (bones or body parts of a saint or hero of the culture) in the cathedral. He meditates on his life purpose as a knight, to report that to the bishop. This is part of the ceremonies that make the son of a knight a knight.

.

So Four of Swords is a ‘time out’ card. ‘Not participating’ is the common title of Four of Swords, and its meanings center around that theme. Not participating brings phrases like ‘couch potato’ and ‘just because nothing is being done’ or ‘not doing.’ Four of Swords means ‘not interested’ as well as ‘not doing.’

.

Here are other meanings along the line of not doing: staying, used to, put up with, status quo, sleep, rest, waiting, dormant, remission, and even ‘the deceased.’

.

The ‘rest’ meaning expands to being at ease, comfortable, and ‘relax.’

.

.

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

                  LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES..

.. ….. …     .

.

This is funny. All three of these cards mean, in different ways, that nothing is happening or that something isn’t happening. And all three of these Tarot cards are night scenes. Eight of Cups even can translate ‘in the middle of the night’ or ‘the wee hours’ because of the two moon phases that mean ‘a beginning and an ending.’ So Eight of Cups is the night shift sometimes.

.

So what do you do with three Tarot cards that not only mean the same thing, but mean nothing is happening? Well, I squeezed quite a few sentences out of them once I got started. Two of Swords and Eight of Cups make most of the sentences, and they do it by Two of Swords, a negator, negating the various meanings of Eight of Cups. Absorbing this, you will make use of it – here’s a partial list as an example:

don’t go out of your way

has not changed its ways

not changing

not giving up

don’t quit

not getting off the path

don’t drop out

don’t go anywhere

it doesn’t change

suddenly it’s over

don’t leave

don’t go out of your way

nothing changes

that’s not going to change

not going to leave

no immediate change

not leaving so abruptly

not over yet

doesn’t abandon course

don’t be a no-show

can’t get out of here.

.

Another useful pair is Two of Swords and Four of Swords meaning ‘never get used to it’ or ‘not used to that.’ Two of Swords is ‘no way’ and ‘not’ and Four of Swords is the status quo, or being used to or inured to something. Four of Swords is also doing nothing, not responding, not participating …

.

Notice how few sentences Eight of Cups and Four of Swords make. Eight of Cups is a change or disruption, and Four of Swords is nothing happening – which could say a lot until you negate that with Two of Swords. Then it gets awkward with ‘It’s not over yet just because nothing is being done.’ Ha-ha. At least we have ‘Don’t disrupt my sleep.’

.

The general theme here contrasts staying the same and changing. ‘Don’t stay, leave’ or ‘Don’t leave, stay.’ This is what happens when you turn negator cards loose without the discipline of a question, or knowns, or their being set in a larger spread that would ‘break the tie.’

. …..   ..

Waiting for something that never happens, and getting used to it not changing. But I never get used to these abrupt departures … gone without notice. It’s the wee hours, and I’m not asleep yet. I don’t leave because I can put up with it. Nothing changes if I don’t do anything. I meditate and I’m not getting off this path. But where I’m not interested, that’s not going to change. GUIDANCE  That feeling of being pressured to act. Lovers, family, salespeople, mooches, religious or political believers who want you to join their herd, do for them, buy and be like them, donate to their cause. Time to act, and time to be nervous if you are one of us who is susceptible to the routines they are engaging you in.

Nine of Wands You have a bandaged head to show for their last visit, and here you are standing up to their next, holding your ground. Under pressure and apprehensive (fearful), sweating it out, or at least very uncomfortable, you draw a line in the sand and you guard that line.

.

Or maybe you give people the willies, get on their last nerve, so they put you on the spot because you make them defensive because, well, they are guilty, they deserve to suffer, and you are the one pointing the finger of accusation. Nine of Wands is also about being put on the spot.

.

There’s an issue here. Or are you just haunted by a past encounter? Is this about headaches? Are you inhabiting a daunting environment? You are under pressure of what? – accusation? – someone who’s annoying as hell? – or is it just that ‘something’s out there’ or ‘something’s up’ feeling we get from time to time?

.

So here you have tension of some sort if the subject of the Tarot reading is social. Most often, Nine of Wands is worry, fear, tension, nervous, defensiveness, being haunted by, tensing up, or under pressure.

.

Don’t forget that Nine of Wands can refer to a literal head wound, or to headaches, or any ailment of the head that is physical.

Magician Male gender and action. That’s Magician in a nutshell. On the one side, put all the male pronouns and all the first person pronouns (including possessive ones). Don’t forget the ‘myself’ and the ‘himself’ ones. On the other column put every form of action words you can think – do, make, act – as well as phrases like ‘bring about’ and ‘bring down.’

.

Because Magician is the start of something. Magician is initiative. Magician is the startup and the introduction.

.

That’s because as the ‘1’ of the Major Arcanae, Magician is the male principle, and the male principle is action as distinguished from thinking and being. This card sticks very closely to those meanings, more than the other first-line Major Arcanae do.

.

Eight of WandsLike the arrows from the famous archers of the English armies the wands fly through the air. Fast movement, repetitive movement (which Eight of Pentacles also means), numbers of items (plurals): The picture tells you these things easily. You can see the list there too.

.

But Eight of Wands is the number one speak/tell/say Tarot card, at least in the Tarot Verbatim™ system. It just is. Any kind of communication at all, including texting, documents, books, telepathy … anything.

.

.

.

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

                    LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES..

. ….. …..

Here in the middle, our Magician self is set to act. To the left is hesitation to do that (under pressure?); to the right is all of it and right now. Factors to taking action are many, and some are adverse factors. It is these adverse factors that will make our story because Magician simply means the ‘he’ and the ‘do’ and Eight of Wands simply means plural things, continual, and talking about it. So the story line to our reading is going to be the story of the border guard here. That’s the lay of the Tarot land.

.

And the story of the wounded vet here is standing your ground despite those adverse factors. That applies in any way you can apply it, all the way from taking an unpopular stand, to being accused of anything at all (or feeling accused), to a situation that makes you uncomfortable, to being annoyed, to being under pressure (here, under pressure to do something, maybe to do it quickly), to defending anything (from your lipstick color to your country), to being afraid (of anything or nothing), to your head hurting (or anyone’s), to sweating it out because it gets on your last nerve. At least, those are the stories we look at today; I’m sure there are some more.

.

As to advice, look carefully, because this message can say ‘Do it all now no matter how it makes them feel’ and ‘All the reasons to be afraid to do this.’ Magician and Eight of Wands are a strong message to act now and to do it all. Nine of Wands is a little more likely to just be nervous about it in this three-card spread here. But the story goes all sorts of ways, and the message depends upon the question … which we don’t have one to go by here.

.

This spread is yet another example of: The question is a large part of an accurate reading.

What if. ‘What if’ is the opposite of ‘Just do it.’ And both ‘what if’ and ‘just do it’ live at the base of our heart and brain. The heart and the brain get together and decide whether to jump off the high dive, wait, or not jump. Some of us are jumpers and some of us hang back and check out the lay of the land because if ‘doing it’ involves moving a mountain, we won’t have time for another project. We are standing on the diving board, bouncing a little, pondering the pool below.

GET A SINGLE CARD’S MEANINGS: TYPE ITS NAME AND ‘TAROT VERBATIM’ INTO GOOGLE

.

Knight of Swords – Like Two of Pentacles, Knight of Swords is all sorts of movement. Off we go, and here we come! Its main characteristic is speed: fast movement. Knight of Swords means back and forth movement, and means turning around – a turnaround or change of direction or return to where (it) was. This should remind you of our Two of Pentacles friend, who is more ‘going ’round and ’round’ but also means back and forth. Knight of Swords is switching directions, and actually often means ‘change.’ It means going back to; it means going to; it means getting away from. And usually it’s not hard to see which it is, believe it or not.

.

Related words and phrases for all this fast movement are: get through, avoid, keep from, not anymore, hurry and rush and speed, again, and odd phrases like ‘in no time,’ which are at least partly slang.

.

Knight of Swords is one of the many cards that mean any one of these: suddenly, again, avoid, outta here.

.

Temperance – Temperance is an odd bird card, a Johnny-come-lately to the Tarot deck. It doesn’t join much in the ‘flow’ theme in spite of the water going back and forth, and it doesn’t join much in the ’emotion’ theme in spite of the water featured in the illustration. No, instead its meanings revolve around relationship (close relationship, buddies, partnership, intimacy) and also two-way conversation and responding. It often means deal and dealing and dealing with – transactions. Like Three of Pentacles, it can be about negotiating. Direct personal face-to-face interaction, or a hand-to-hand deal is Temperance’s beat.

.

You would think it would mean temperance as to alcohol use. It doesn’t, in my experience. You would think it would join in the angel theme. It very very seldom does in my experience: A vision of angels is invariably Judgment.

.

Sometimes Temperance means sharing as it does today. Keep an eye out for Temperance to be about healing, because the symbol on the angel’s chest means that.

.

Seven of Cups  The illustration shows an apprentice magician who is overwhelmed by the forces he called up and let loose. He is very much taken aback – is in shock as the spirits cavort. Seven of Cups is when things are out of control, when you ‘let the cat out of the bag.’ When you don’t know what to do next.

.

Seven of Cups is wild, crazy, mixed up, mindboggling, amazing, bizarre, is for no reason, is amazing, and is chaos itself. It means shock (in any sense).

.

This is the card for assorted items, for miscellanea, for a drawerful of junk, for making a mess and for the mess that is made. Seven of Cups is ‘the needle in the haystack.’ When things fall apart, fall through, break down, get garbled. Seven of Cups is your card.

.

Seven of Swords shows a cloud and means things are scattered about, so this is your card to tell about a hurricane, tornado, explosion, and the debris of a destructive event. It means ‘cloud’ literally, and it means ‘smoke’ literally as in ‘Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.’ The smoke can be any mist in the air.

.

Lastly, know that the covered cup, the one with the veil over it, represents hope. That’s because Seven of Cups is also Pandora’s box, a story in which the one good spirit is left locked up when the bad guys escape, and is released later to play catch-up.

.

.

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

                   LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES..

.. ….. …     .

.

On either side of a card, Temperance, that means ‘to deal with’ and ‘relationship’ is a card that means a sudden reversal or emergency, Knight of Swords, and a card that means things falling apart or chaos, Seven of Cups. So you can see unexpected disruption of a relationship or a deal.

.

There’s a back-and-forth theme in both Knight of Swords and Temperance. Knight of Swords is switching directions or running back and forth; Temperance describes ‘getting back to’ someone as communication, as responding, as dialog or two-way conversation.

.

Since Temperance is an intimate relationship or partnership, both the run-away and the hurry-back of Knight of Swords is about lovers coming and going, and Seven of Cups is a crazy-ass relationship, a relationship that falls apart or is out of control or shocking.

.

We have stories of change. We have ‘After all that, we are together again’ and we have ‘You zoom out of a relationship when it falls apart. We have ‘When I lose control, up comes my guardian angel to get me back on track’ and we have ‘Off I go into the wild and crazy scene with my buddy.’

. ….. .   .

GUIDANCE            No one would believe this gentlemanly low-key man is such a great lover. A drinking man, he is never under the influence. I just don’t connect romantically with the quiet type but we are having a grand love affair nevertheless.

Tarot Readings: Four of Cups and King of Cups

A warm sentimental man resists a self-interested lover.

A grand sexual love affair with a man who is not loving.

He isn’t her honey but he is her sex partner.

He resists his weakness for sexual attraction.

He is passive but isn’t looking to be anybody’s sucker.

He’s no gentleman; he’s out to getcha.

A nice-guy who won’t have anything to do with a mooch.

There’s no way a sweetheart like him is going to be with that conniving partner of his.

.

Tarot Readings: Four of Cups and Two of Cups

.. … ..

A decent man refuses to be corrupted.

Not taking advantage of his weakness.

Don’t be dependent on government.

I’m vulnerable but I did not get hooked.

I just don’t connect romantically with the quiet type.

He loves you, but this older man isn’t interested in a sexual relationship.

Not letting myself be influenced by my emotions.

Holding out for a grand passion with an affectionate gentleman.

A drinking man but I’m never under the influence.

.

Tarot Readings: King of Cups and Two of Cups

. …..n

You would never believe how good in bed this drinking man is.

A nice guy just isn’t sexy enough.

Nope, I have no political connections.

A crooked politician is shut out.

Just can’t fall in love with such a good guy.

A proper gentleman downplays his vice.

The passive man’s weakness for kinky sex is a turnoff.

He is passive as a sex partner but not this time.

This agency interferes in your business: Don’t let that happen.

GET A SINGLE CARD’S MEANINGS: TYPE ITS NAME AND ‘TAROT VERBATIM’ INTO GOOGLE

.

Four of Cups “What part of ‘no’ don’t you understand; the ‘N’ or the ‘O’? – Four of Cups is saying. One of its few positive meanings is ‘holding out for.’ other than that, what you see is what you get: He is seated; he turns his head away; he crosses his arms – and even his legs. ‘Ain’t interested.’

.

One class of words about not being interested for Four of Cups translates: resists, refuses, nothing to do with, not letting, shut out.

.

Another class of words about not being interested for Four of Sups reads like your run-of-the-mill negator card: is not, is no, no way, don’t, didn’t, never, not believe, can’t, have no, not let, and ‘Don’t let that happen’ sentences.

.

Other miscellaneous terms for this Four of Cups Rider Waite Tarot card are things like: downplays, and ‘is a turnoff.’

King of CupsWater means emotion. This fellow’s seat is a concrete island in a flood as he sits, bleary-eyed, unmoving. A big fish is on his neck chain, which you could interpret as Pisces, as Christian, or as wishy-washy weakness. Perhaps because of all the water, King of Cups is the drinking man, as well as the emotional man. I guess the emotional man also brings out the weak man, because that is one of the things King of Cups will appear for in your sentences. So he is her honey, he is a ‘serious drinker,’ he has a weakness, he is the quiet passive type.

.

The passive man is a bureaucrat too, a man with a desk job – even a Walter Mitty type. King of Cups expands to mean government, government agency, politician and political. (With Two of Cups, you have ‘political connections.’)

.

Knight of Cups is the softhearted affectionate young man, which brings King of Cups in as the older man who is ‘her honey.’ So ‘older man’ can be one of King of Cups’ interpretations.

Two of CupsTarot Verbatim’s™ Two of Cups is not just any Tarot system’s Two of Cups. That funky gizmo suspended above the couple ‘pledging their troth’ (getting engaged back when that was a binding obligation) is an ancient spiritual spell, for good or ill (usually ill). Moses used it when snakes were biting his followers in the desert.

.

So the caduceus is ‘undue influence,’ is interfering, undeclared, in people’s business, particularly in their love lives. It can simply be falling in love, can be a hot sexual love affair, seduction, or even just a sexual attraction. It can represent kinky or perverted sex, or someone’s ‘sex life.’ I

.

In real Tarot Verbatim™ practice, Two of Cups is often about bad and undeclared influences – addictions being one of them, ‘using people’ and sales pitches or propaganda being some others. Two of Cups can be dependence, and it can be mooching, can be politics with, or without, corruption.

.

Two of Cups, like Six of Wands, also can be about an agenda, about conniving, about betrayal. Today it says ‘out to getcha’ once.

.

.

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

                   LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES..

.. ….. ….

.

King of Cups and Two of Cups are stories of romance and passion, and stories of being taken advantage of, but Four of Cups dampers part of each tale, because Four of Cups isn’t interested and Two of Cups is interested in all the wrong ways. King of Cups is the affectionate man, the weak man or drinking man, or the government. So we have stories, lots of them. These three Tarot cards even say things like ‘The government is not out to getcha.’

.

You could say the message here is to be the good affectionate man (or person) in such a way you don’t get taken advantage of.

. ….. ..

.

.

AND NOW WITHOUT THE PICTURES:

These three Tarot cards even say things like ‘The government is not out to getcha.’

.

You could say the message here is to be the good affectionate man (or person) in such a way you don’t get taken advantage of.

. ….. ..

.

.

.

In the real world if you’re going to be a decent person, and not be taken advantage of or worse, you outwit and be slicker than the person with the agenda. It’s almost that a kind person has to go undercover. You don’t want someone to pretend to be a gentleman, or to pretend to be affectionate, really, but here you are pretending to be One of Them.

Jan 8, 2017 by

GUIDANCE  Got a lot of things to straighten out, so let’s talk about them before we launch them, because we aren’t doing all of these quickly. We are not rushing, we are doing it right. Some of these things we may just be talking about, not really doing, though.

.

Tarot Readings: Justice and Eight of Wands

… .. …..

Says he is going straight and isn’t doing a thing.

Waiting to get everything you are entitled to.

He got everything he deserves for not doing anything.

Stay put: Everything is going the way it should.

Not responding until you hear the right words.

Tell it like it really is and don’t do another thing.

It was supposed to be a rush but you are still waiting.

It’s straight talk or nothing doing.

The less I care, the saner I get.

.

Tarot Readings:  Justice and Four of Swords

… .. … ..

Time out to sober up quickly.

Police are increasingly not doing a thing.

A step at a time is the lazy way to go straight.

Everything is just fine the way it is.

All the laws that no one pays attention to.

I am sane because I am indifferent to all sorts of things.

You are okay because of all the things you don’t do.

.

Tarot Readings: Eight of Wands and Four of Swords

. ………n

You should have your say and then hold your peace.

Sleeping longer than I should.

Isn’t doing anything right.

More sleep to be sane.

Normal people don’t talk that way.

Normal people just talk about it and don’t do it.

Whatever they say, you should be totally unconcerned.

GET A SINGLE CARD’S MEANINGS: TYPE ITS NAME AND ‘TAROT VERBATIM’ INTO GOOGLE

These same 3 Tarot cards appear in the reading of Feb 26 2014, with the addition of Nine of Wands which changes things a lot. Here’s the link to that post:  http://tarotverbatim.com/2014/02/11554/

JusticeShould, right, and supposed to: Justice’s favorite terms. Justice is getting what you deserve, what you are entitled to, and giving them of course. Supporting words to these are: straight, sober, real, sane, normal and okay.

.

Justice also represents the whole judicial system from top to bottom: the courts, the police, and all the people involved great and small. Justice translates ‘legal’ any day in any context, including making ‘legal marriage’ of marriage cards, and ‘legal husband’ and legal wife’ out of cards that are saying ‘husband’ and ‘wife.’

Eight of WandsIts meanings are few and focused, this Eight of Wands. Flying through the air, the wands make these main meanings: communication, fast movement, increasing, one after another, and plurals – lots of anything.

.

Communication is a big thing with Eight of Wands – any form, any angle. It translates say, tell, talk, words, hear, text, written, report, and anything in between. Sign language, telepathy, the communication of trees, birds and animals.

.

Fast movement, and movement generally, belong to Eight of Wands – without direction. It translates ‘rush’ and ‘quickly’ today, as well as ‘says he is going’ and ‘everything is going.’

.

‘Increasing’ and ‘increasingly’ belong to Eight of Wands in very flexible ways: more in number, longer in time, even an increase in slowing down or losing! Eight of Wands can put suffixes like ‘-er’ and even ‘-iest’ onto neighboring cards (and do nothing more than that).

.

One after another, a step at a time, items on a list (or the list itself: Anything sequential can belong to Eight of Wands. In the illustration, the wants one above the other suggest this.

.

Plurals, and a number of anything, are another category of Eight of Wands. It can simply add the plural form to a neighboring card. It means plural words like everything, anything, and ‘all.’

.

Four of SwordsKnights are made, not just born. They serve an apprenticeship at the court of a knight other than their father, and then there’s a ritual of tests to determine whether they are worth. So our fellow lying on the saint or hero’s coffin is taking a test. Here, he meditates overnight in the church building on his life purpose to have a vision to report to the bishop. So Four of Swords can mean meditation.

.

Refraining from action is the general meaning of Four of Swords, and there’s quite a scope to that. Here are some of the words and phrases Four of Swords can bring you in this regard: not doing, lazy, time out, hold your peace, wait, staying, not responding, indifferent, pays no attention, not care, unconcerned, and sleep or sleeping – including ‘sleeping it off.’

.

Four of Swords also means ‘no change,’ along the lines of ‘nothing doing.’

.

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

                     LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES..

. ….. . ….

.

Justice and Eight of Wands are saying everything is going right, it’s all okay, the right words, tell it like it is, and getting everything you’re entitled to.

.

Justice and Four of Swords are saying justice isn’t being done, things are not the way they should be, and waiting to get what you’re entitled to.

.

Eight of Wands and Four of Swords aren’t doing a thing, aren’t talking, are indifferent to what is being said, are all talk and no action.

So we are in the talking stage, and not in the doing stage today, and we are talking about straightening things out before we actually do them. (An amendment to the New Year’s resolution?)

. ….. …..

.

.

AND NOW WITHOUT THE PICTURES:

(An amendment to the New Year’s resolution?)

. ….. …..

.

.B

..

.

…… ………………. ….………..

So much to do that we aren’t going to be doing it all as it should be done, so we are taking a rest break and meditating on it all. We are saner for this time out, telling it like it really is, and seeing the whole list realistically. Everything on the list will be done right, one item or so at a time because we are putting so much reflection into our projects.

.

.

.

.

NOW WE SHOW WHERE EACH PHRASE IN EACH SENTENCE COMES FROM

Give all the rules a rest.

It ain’t right: a long list of that.

Things you should not participate in.

Lawyer says not to do it.

Do not testify in court.

No conversations with the lawyer.

Whatever he is supposed to do turns him off.

Should not say anything.

Not going to do anything I ought to.

Too many police there – lay low.

I did what I should, and am not doing any more.

Things just are not the way they should be.

All the things I should do that I am not doing.

Not doing anything right.

We talk about all the things that are not the way they should be.

Give all the rules a rest.

It ain’t right: a long list of that.

LEARN SINGLE TAROT CARDS BY PICTURES.

GET A SINGLE CARD’S MEANINGS: TYPE ITS NAME AND ‘TAROT VERBATIM’ INTO GOOGLE

.

Nine of Cups – A fat fellow, surrounded by the empties, has eaten and drunk it all, and sports a big satisfied after-feast grin. So Nine of Cups is: being satisfied, having it all, enough, too much, and getting what you want (or what whoever wants) as well as ‘enjoy’ in all its forms. Universally, Nine of Cups is called the ‘Your wish is granted’ card.

.

In real life, Nine of Cups translates something about ‘want’ all the time, and translates variants (forms) of the word ‘want’ most frequently.

.

Then it spreads out a little and represents words like these: enjoy, dream, happy, appreciate, satisfaction (and its variants), crave, pays off, profitable, pleases, and happy. From there, you occasionally find words like these arising from the presence of Nine of Cups: plenty, rich, good things, mighty fine, cash in on, ‘I got mine.’

.

Magician – Conjugate the verbs do, make, and act, and pair them with any form of first person (I, me, myself, mine) pronouns, and any form of male pronouns (he, himself, him, his), plus any word that means male (guy, fellow, etc.) and you have most of Magician’s translates. Magician owns ‘you’ pronouns often too. ‘Do it yourself’ (or myself or himself) belong to Magician, therefore. The point is: Magician means these things either singly or doubly: It can simply say ‘he’ and it can simply say ‘do,’ or it can say: he did, he does, he is doing, he is the one who does, et cetera on forever. If you put a negative-word card (a negator) in the mix, all of that can turn negative.

.

Magician has independent meanings too. Magician is creating action, so it means: initiate, start, make the first move, bring about (or bring down), create, action, volunteer (and voluntarily), and ‘make it happen.’ This last phrase, ‘make it happen’ echoes Wheel of Fortune, another Tarot card about ‘out there’ influences upon earth.

.

Magician means ‘male’ so it can designate a male animal, the male gender of an unborn. Magician as the 1 is the male principle, esoterically speaking, as High Priestess is the female principle. The male principle is active and not receptive; the female principle is receptive and not active. The first four cards are a recipe for the stages of the creation or doing of anything – in a nutshell.

.

Magician is about an act of will making something happen, which is the magician’s definition of magic. (So Magician is about willpower sometimes in your spreads. Think ‘Just do it.’) Note that on the table in Magician’s illustration here in Rider Waite are the suits of Tarot as his tools: cup, wand, pentacle, sword. He has another wand in his right (active) hand, and it’s pointed skyward to bring down spiritual influence. His left hand points earthward to ground that influence. He is the channel through which the spiritual influence flows to the earth. (Ace of Cups has this ‘spiritual influence to earth’ theme too, but it’s really to mass consciousness in Ace of Cups.)

.

Eight of Wands – A flock of wands flying through the air – a simple illustration. Eight of Wands mainly applies to many, more, increasing, one after another, repetitive, over and over, and plurals like: everyone, anything, everything, all, all sorts of, all kinds of, and ‘these.’ Eight of Wands sometimes simply adds a plural to another card. This Eight of Wands card also adds suffixes that mean ‘more,’ ‘increasing’ or ‘increasingly’ – suffixes like: er, ier, est, iest. In some sentences, it does nothing but that – adds no actual words of its own.

.

The wands fly through the air, which gives Eight of Wands words about quickly, fast, speed. Sometimes, combining the ‘talk’ and the ‘fast,’ Eight of Wands is talking fast or fast talk.

.

Eight of Wands (for little or no particular reason) is the main speak/tell/say card in Tarot Verbatim™. It is also the most general card for any kind of communication at all, even telepathy, texting, documents, instructions, books, hearing, writing and reading anything at all. (Remember, Tarot Verbatim™ gets its meanings ‘from the field,’ from actual practice; there’s no theory or opinion to the meanings at all.) Here today, it translates ‘conversation’ and ‘expressed’ as well as ‘talks to me.’

.

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

                        LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES..

… .. ….. ………

.

Three Tarot cards here that each has few and well-defined meanings. This necessarily makes repetitious sentences. Lots of similar sentences can come of these (which of course I avoid as much as possible).

.

Nine of Cups with Magician produce all sorts of phrases about ‘do what you want,’ and ‘want to do’ and doing what someone else wants, or someone else doing what you want. Since there’s no inferred time zone in the combination of these two cards, they cover any tense of verb. Since Magician embraces quite a few pronouns, these two cards also cover a variety of actors for the action. The field is wide open here.

.

Nine of Cups and Eight of Wands are also wide open. Eight of Wands is any talk or any form of communication, and it also means ‘fast’ or ‘quickly,’ as well as repetitive (over and over, one after another, etc.). So there’s phrases like: everything you want, everything you want to say, want to talk, says what you want to hear, want it immediately, each and every thing we want …. On and on.

.

Magician and Eight of Wands also have a lot to say: do things, do it all, everyone does, he says, he does it all, he does it all himself, all the things you do, all the things he does, fast action (because Magician is action and Eight of Wands is fast), do the same thing over and over, everything he does, he tells (me) to do …. and so on.

.

So we have all sorts of stories. We say you can do whatever you want, the main message. These three cards say to be glad about all the things you can do, and be grateful for all the things that are done for you.

AND NOW WITHOUT THE PICTURES:

On and on.

Magician and Eight of Wands also has a lot to say: do things, do it all, everyone does, he says, he does it all, he does it all himself, fast action (because Magician is action and Eight of Wands is fast), do the same thing over and over, everything he does, he tells (me) to do …. and so on.

….. ………………. ….………..

Expressing gratitude and pleasing people: That’s our story today. I am glad for all the things people do for me – I am grateful a lot today. I want to do things to please them, not just to express my thanks. There are a lot of things I want to do, and a lot of things I want other people to do, and all these other people want things just as I do. So we are at each other’s service.
