Tarot Readings for You for September 23-24, 2017 Weekend

GUIDANCE             She overcomes an abusive husband, the same husband the other woman dominates. Another edgy man is the husband of a woman with an iron will. His lady is into peace and quiet so he has to control his temper. Having overcome his animal side through spirituality, this common man is master of the spiritual plane. Today we are full of stories about overcoming, about getting control over another person or our own nature.

High Priestess A complex card, one of the occult or esoteric ones. She is surrounded by Kabbalah paraphernalia, even wears the crown of Egyptian royalty. In short, the fact this is the number two card of the Major Arcanae makes this the female card, not doing anything but knowing. (Being the number one card of the Major Arcanae gives Magician the opposite meanings and makes him the male card, the one who takes initiative and acts.) High Priestess represents the spiritual plane – thus spirituality. Magician represents the physical plane. The spiritual plane controls the physical in some sense, so High Priestess is the power behind the throne. And these concepts help us ‘get’ the core meanings of these two cards, so we can apply them more flexibly.

.

In real life Tarot practice, this is the lady, the passive party, a person who does not act, who stays put, who knows all and knows secret(s), the expert, a data bank, and even the Tarot deck, the book in her lap. Sometimes High Priestess represents the mental plane. The book in her lap can say ‘bookkeeper.’

.

High Priestess can translate ‘behind the scene.’ So she is the behind-the-scenes person – which stretches to being ‘the other woman.’ Yes, ‘the other woman’ is an odd meaning, but High Priestess regularly shows up for that. Besides being quietly behind something, she is alone by herself, associated with secrets, and waiting without taking initiative herself.

.

High Priestess is very much associated not only with being quiet, but with peace-and-quiet itself. The quiet lady. Privacy. Patience. The sedentary life. Being receptive. A desk job, a secretary.

.

Rare and odd meanings for High Priestess: Occasionally, if the story involves a person in a wheelchair, High Priestess will show up for that – and Chariot may too. The pictures themselves bring that about. Another rare meaning you may find is a person in some way associated with the moon, because she has the moon at her feet. Today we have the phrase ‘passive-aggressive’ with High Priestess and Ace of Swords.

.

This is a quote from another blog post, but it succinctly reviews High Priestess Meanings, so I drop it in here: “In real life, this Rider Waite Tarot card means lady, ladylike, quiet woman, keeping quiet, she knows, she knows and isn’t acting on it, she knows and isn’t divulging, a secret, the other woman, feminine, sedentary, passive, knowing the unknown or the secret, expert, the spiritual plane, spiritual, the mental plane or mental, book, bookkeeper, unassertive or passive, to know about.”

Ace of Swords How many times have you heard someone say ‘He aced it.”? Ace of Swords is about that kind of stellar accomplishment. The illustration screams winning and victory, what with the crown on the sword which is itself crowned with the traditional laurel leaves of victory. Ace of Swords goes beyond that: It means totally. All one way, no compromise, no gray zone, no ifs, ands, or buts. It’s total victory for one side, total defeat for the other. And it’s a challenge.

.

Ace of Swords is also about the drive to achieve or accomplish. Must. Got to. The will to do, no matter what. Those are very common Ace of Swords words. It means ‘orders’ and it means ‘ultimatum.’

.

Of course, Ace of Swords is about force, about threat: It’s a weapon being displayed, after all. It translates assertive, abusive, and aggressive. It is all about power, dominance and dominating, being The Boss. It means to oppose, and it also represents the opposition you face.

.

To overcome is very Ace of Swords, whether it’s overcoming the opposition or overcoming a challenge, or some kind of personal internal overcoming.

King of Wands Well here’s your common man. Got some street in him, as Cher would say. Every group is known by its least members, so it falls to King of Wands to be the lout, to be Archie Bunker, to represent men who have little or no class. He is rash, hotheaded, has a temper, is angry and mouthy, a ruffian at times. Edgy. But its guys like Seven of Swords and Knight of Pentacles who are the deliberate punks. King of Wands is the Country Boy, the good old boy; and he is the workingman, working with his hands (associated with Eight of Pentacles). King of Wands is what some Christians call ‘the natural man,’ a derogatory title.

.

This is the uninhibited and impulsive man: Watch those words come right up to him. And here is where his meanings take a turn: King of Wands is the passionate man. Romantically and in other ways too. He can also be the maverick, the guy who does what other guys only think of doing. You tend to stereotype this Tarot card as lower middle class, but the impulsive uninhibited maverick side of King of Wands can be a rash stockbroker, lawyer, or businessman. Just think Donald Trump.

.

King of Wands is the main card for husband and married man, mainly because Queen of Wands is the domestic engineer who runs and organizes the household or the business – the Wife. So King of Wands translates ‘married man’ just as Queen of Wands often says ‘married woman.’ Watch for King of Wands to pop up in a story about dating to imply the dude is married.

.. …..       ….

.

Lots of material for stories here, especially about domination between a woman ( ladylike, most likely, with High Priestess, or wise – or even the other woman’) and a man ( Archie Bunker: the common man, the passionate man, the husband, or the loutish ill-tempered type).

.

Ace of Swords is the domination of course, and it leaves no room for compromise: It’s all one way, whatever it is – often, total defeat paired with total victory. “ All or nothing at all” is Ace of Swords’ song. Getting the best of (whatever). Ace of Swords is aggression, assertiveness, getting control of, clash, willpower, mastery, overcoming. It also translates ‘ certain’ and ‘ absolute’ or ‘ absolutely.’ Ace of Swords means ‘ must’ or ‘ got to’ and also is victory or achievement.

.

Ace of Swords is ‘ acing it.’ Achieving something definitive, something major.

.

Anything that threatening, or anything with supreme power, is not likely to be challenged, so Ace of Swords (like its counterpart Ace of Wands) is to be Number One. But remember: Ace of Swords also represents the challenge itself.

.

Ace of Swords and High Priestess: Ace of Swords is assertive or aggressive; High Priestess is passive. Together they can describe a quiet lady with an iron will who makes people do (whatever). We have all met quiet tyrant females. Since ‘the action can go both ways’ in Tarot, Ace of Swords and High Priestess also describe the lady being intimidated, being forced into passivity (or whatever the story is). Today Ace of Swords and High Priestess say passive- aggressive. Remember that, because it happens every once in a while.

.

High Priestess and King of Wands are story material: the quiet little lady and her loudmouth lout, or the passive woman with the aggressive husband. Here we have Archie Bunker and Guinevere, a beauty-and the-beast pair. Here we also have the husband with the other woman, or the lady’s man being a married man.

.

Ace of Swords and King of Wands make stories about an edgy ill-tempered combative guy and the combat. Could be putting the upstart in his place decisively. Could be the man with a bad temper threatening someone or something. It could be even the passionate man’s challenge (that quiet little lady, maybe, who is his roommate in this spread?). Could be the abusive husband, since Ace of Swords can be ‘ abusive,’ of course. Could also be the victory of the proletariat, the common man. Could be a man is very angry about being forced or ordered around, or about being prohibited or opposed in some way.

.

Like I said, we have stories with these three cards.

Tarot Readings for You for September 21-22, 2017 Thursday-Friday©

GUIDANCE           To be married with children is her dream. She longs for her own domain; she is born to manage. She runs the household like an enterprise, and she runs a business like a good mama superintends the domestic scene. He is grateful to his mama for his childhood; he thanks her. Her style is so natural the company she works for doesn’t think to reward her for it, though, and she is more maternal than entrepreneurial.

.

Queen of Wands Some people are born to excel in the physical world; they are the sensible ones who manage the rest of us admirably. I keep an eye open for these skilled individuals and don’t forget their doings. Queen of Wands is such a person. She is one of those people whose kids behave, whose pets behave, whose bills are paid, because she is so ‘no frills’ about everything. So sensible is Queen of Wands, in fact, (Shall we say so Virgoan?) that she is resented by some of her associates, and there’s an air of disapproval concerning her, as skilled as she is. Queen of Wands is competent, and Queen of Wands is organized. Queen of Wands is Wendy in a world full of Peter Pans.

.

Queen of Wands is the married woman, the wife, the mother, the woman whose home this is: That is Queen of Wands’ main meanings. Queen of Wands is closely associated with home, but just as closely associated with being the manager and the sensible one. She is often a homeowner.

.

Nine of Cups Now here’s an anchor card for you! The chubby fella with the big safunsified grin and the tableful of empties behind him says ‘I can’t believe I ate the whole thing.’ Everyone (in every deck that’s worth considering) calls Nine of Cups ‘Your Wish is Granted.’ It usually translates ‘want’ in some way, or ‘got.’ I got what I wanted is the mantra of Nine of Cups. Nine of Cups is the dream come true, or it expresses the dream itself. No, you noticed that: It does not always indicate possessing what you want right now.

.

Nine of Cups’ other meanings are just a step away from the want, the dream. Here are today’s: fulfills; makes her happy; happy boy; as much as he pleases; profit; would love to have.

.

Nine of Cups also means to enjoy – and Sun means that too. Today that’s expressed as ‘she loves to.’

.

Easily overlooked is Nine of Cups’ pleasing or wanting to please, or being grateful. Today it even says ‘Thank you,’ about gratitude to Mother.

.

Nine of Cups fairly often says forms of ‘satisfy,’ especially ‘satisfaction.’ Its picture expresses the emotion of deep satisfaction when you have what you want and things are going your way. That is contentment, so you may very well translate Nine of Cups as ‘content’ upon occasion.

.

Nine of Cups also translates ‘profit’ and ‘reward’ or ‘rewarding.’

.

The shadow side of Nine of Cups is of course greed, and ‘too much’ or some kind of excess. Once in a while it represents that ‘I got mine’ attitude of people who are entirely too satisfied with themselves.

Sun Sun is one of those Tarot guys who are all-purpose and scattered; Sun erupts meanings, yet it strangely leaves an obvious one neglected (at least in my practice).

.

It’s a beautiful sunny day, and someone’s brat escapes the house, with its enforced good sense, to play recklessly. The pony the nudist mounts is not having a good day. Somehow the darling child has acquired an oversized banner on a long pole. Bareback and rein-less, his left hand occupied with the banner, his right hand waving free. the youngster enjoys the time of his life. This is how Sun gets to own ‘playboy’ in its directory.

.

The pony grows up to be the horse in Six of Wands.

.

This is a reminder that Sun and Six of Cups are the children cards. They otherwise have very disparate meanings: You could say Six of Wands is the good kids, and Sun is the bratty ones. So Sun interprets as: baby/babies, kid(s), children, happy childhood and childhood, brat, youngster and young, and of course Peter Pan – especially when we have Wendy (Queen of Wands) in the spread.

.

Sun is also your vacation card. It means fun, enjoy, happy, happy boy, happy camper. Florida’s slogan (very briefly because it got to be a joke) was ‘The rules are different here’ and Las Vegas’ slogan still is (I think) ‘What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.’ Sun has this same vibe of ‘no restrictions on your behavior.’ Today Sun is saying: who doesn’t restrict him; once you get out from under; be free; is as free as; escape from; let his hair down; he can be as reckless.

.

Note the boy has snuck out of the house with its rules. Now put this in the back of your mind, with a tab for ‘leaves the house’ and ‘leaving’ because Sun is a card-carrying member of the Leaving tribe in Tarot Verbatim™. Sun comes up for just pulling out of the driveway, for leaving for work in your vehicle, for the ‘leaving home’ of a divorce or separation, for leaving the scene behind that you find restrictive at work or in family life, for escape of any sort, for getting free of anything or being let loose from anything … like the police let you off easy, for instance.

.

.

.

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

                LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES..

.. ….. …       .

.

Queen of Wands is the sensible woman with the orderly house and its rules. Sun is the brat who escapes, nudely, from those sensible rules to cavort bareback and hands-free upon a grumpy pony.

.

Does this scene remind you of those click-bait photos with ‘click here to see what awful thing happened next’? Well, Sun doesn’t report that part of its story: Consequences are never mentioned in its entire dictionary, in all the years of my experience. Go figure. The closest it came, many years ago, was being the ‘ attractive nuisance,’ a legal term

.

No, Sun is about the fun, the sunny day, leaving those restrictions behind, being a kid, childhood, being young, being uninhibited, being on vacation where anything goes, fun, a thrill, the ‘ just wanna have fun’ callous attitude, being a happy camper or a playboy.

.

Leaving, and leaving those restrictions behind, is Sun’s main turf. Liberated. Libertarian. Sun is all about freedom, escape, getting out from under, and being uninhibited and spontaneous – ‘l letting your hair down.’

.

Both Nine of Cups and Sun are enjoying themselves, and look how differently! You could say deep satisfaction is contrasted with thrill. Sun’s fun is often associated with being young and spur-of-the-moment. Nine of Cups is finally having it all.

.

So our main story is the satisfaction of being free of other people’s limitations on us, and having a place of our own where we make the rules. There’s a moral to this somewhere.

. ….. .      .

.

.

AND NOW WITHOUT THE PICTURES:

Go figure. The closest it came, many years ago, was being the ‘attractive nuisance,’ a legal term

.

No, Sun is about the fun, the sunny day, leaving those restrictions behind, being a kid, childhood, being young, being uninhibited, being on vacation where anything goes, fun, a thrill, the ‘just wanna have fun’ callous attitude, being a happy camper or a playboy.

.

Leaving, and leaving those restrictions behind, is Sun’s main turf. Liberated. Libertarian. Sun is all about freedom, escape, getting out from under, and being uninhibited and spontaneous – ‘letting your hair down.’

.

.

.

Pleasing other people makes me happy, so I follow their rules and their laws. I see some other people want to be free of the rules, and some other people want to make the rules.

Tarot Readings for You for September 20, 2017 Wednesday©

Sep 19, 2017 by

Today is Wednesday, and another Querant has graciously contributed her email reading to you. Her Love Interest has been overseas for quite sometime, and she wonders whether that absence has made his heart grow fonder. We learn the status of Lover’s heart here.

.

You can get a reading like this up there at the Email Reading navigation tab. You can also buy Tarot Email Training right under the endorsement for it by someone who adores her first lesson.

.

My computers are healthy again now. After a week of coma, they came to life when this ‘iDrive’ thing (alleged to be computer backup) was removed. It was the bright idea of the techs who maintain those computers.

.

.

The category of life is:: Love interest

My question is:: Will I see Love Interest open himself to me when he comes back from overseas?

.

Absence has made the heart, and other parts of him, grow fonder. He comes back attaching to you but still fighting it a lot too. Best strategy in a situation like this is to act very casual, letting the bull do that one thing male mammals do best: Win over a cow who ISN’T interested.

You should be independent, and it happens without notice.

You have the home of your own you deserve – just like that!

You are a majority of one, having abandoned what’s accepted.

She isn’t playing by the rules anymore; she has a life of her own.

.

Hierophant That’s the pope in the red robe. He and his fellow religious are doing their usual ceremony the usual way for the public to see and accept. Hierophant is about appearances, respectability, what is accepted and expected, the usual, being straight, the normal, the routine. Hierophant is about what should be, conforming, behaving, morality, tradition, the rules and playing by the rules. It’s about the daily mundane, and the mindset of business as usual.

.

Hierophant is also about what is safe, about a safe place and copacetic situation. Hierophant means ‘no harm’ and ‘no danger,’ so it can tell you a situation you ask about is okay.

.

Hierophant is about ‘face.’ It translates ‘stereotype.’ It also translates ‘in the real world’ and ‘reality.’

.

Not so much today, but you will find Hierophant referring to being entitled, and deserving. This arises from a whole category of Hierophant meanings about ‘papers’: certificates, titles, names, licenses.

Nine of Pentacles Observe a woman wearing a robe at high noon in the vineyard with her falcon, a snail at her feet indicating she does things in her own sweet time.

.

Main branches of Nine of Pentacles’ meaning arise from her staying contentedly at home, or at wherever she is; her having enough money to run her life as she chooses … and her managing whatever she is involved in singlehandedly. Nine of Pentacles isn’t a team player, is the independent and entrepreneurial type, tends to be in a niche of her own, and tends to own her space, own her turf. She is usually a single woman – and if married, the spread is only about her.

.

Here’s a woman who lives alone and loves it, who minds her own business and expects us to mind our own as well. She pays whatever’s going on outside little mind and is fine with whatever it is.

.

Quite often Nine of Pentacles represents the stage of romance in which the fellow gets interested in the woman because the woman isn’t acting interested in him.

Eight of Cups Eight of Cups hath a story behind it which telleth its all. A pilgrim’s progress is hindered by a mountain he has to go around. The illustration comes with an assumption he will resume course, but Eight of Cups also expands to tell of any sort of detour, dropping out, quitting, going A. W. O. L., leaving behind, aborting course, abandoning, departure – or even things aren’t the way they used to be … or any kind of ‘isn’t anymore’ situation. Isn’t like she usually is, in one thing and out of another, no longer (whatever).

.

Eight of Cups will also operate as a negator when the phrase is about progress or about ‘going’: don’t go where.

.

Eight of Cups is also about unexpected events, with phrases today like these: happens without notice; just like that!; is unexpectedly; all of a sudden.

.

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

               LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES..

.. ….. …      .

.

Here are two cards about . being established, about . peace and quiet, and another that means a shift into or out of one place or thing to another, and that card of change ( Eight of Cups) does not designate what kind of change. So without context (without a question to go by, without a background story, without other cards to lend context) the change can be about an unexpected disruption ( Eight of Cups) of the peace and quiet a person is living in, or it can be an unexpected shift that gives a person the peace and quiet. (Always remember the maxim re Tarot ‘The cards read both ways,’ and that doesn’t limit them necessarily to either of only two stories.

.

Nine of Pentacles and Eight of Cups say both ‘ The woman is left behind’ and ‘ the woman leaves where she is staying.’ Hierophant and Eight of Cups say both ‘ abruptly behaving’ and not behaving anymore.’ Oh, that Eight of Cups is one sneaky card that way!

.

Nine of Pentacles is ensconced, is staying. Eight of Cups is leaving. Hierophant means safety, the way things are supposed to be. So we have ‘ leaving here for safety’ and ‘ leaving the safe place.’

.

But one thing is for sure in our story: Nine of Pentacles is about the woman who stands her ground, is where she wants to be, and is content there. The other two cards say things are the way they are supposed to be, Hierophant, and there’s a shift or change.

. …..       ..

.

.

AND NOW WITHOUT THE PICTURES:

.

Here are two cards about being established, about peace and quiet, and another that means a shift into or out of one place or thing to another, and that card of change (Eight of Cups) does not designate what kind of change. So without context (without a question to go by, without a background story, without other cards to lend context) the change can be about an unexpected disruption (Eight of Cups) of the peace and quiet a person is living in, or it can be an unexpected shift that gives a person the peace and quiet. (Always remember the maxim re Tarot ‘the cards read both ways,’ and that doesn’t limit them necessarily to either of only two stories.

.

Nine of Pentacles and Eight of Cups say both ‘The woman is left behind’ and ‘the woman leaves where she is staying.’ Hierophant and Eight of Cups say both ‘abruptly behaving’ and ‘not behaving anymore.’ Oh, that Eight of Cups is one sneaky card that way!

.

Nine of Pentacles is ensconced, is staying. Eight of Cups is leaving. Hierophant means safety. So we have ‘leaving here for safety’ and ‘leaving the safe place.’

.

But one thing is for sure in our story: Nine of Pentacles is about the woman who stands her ground, is where she wants to be, and is content there. The other two cards say things are the way they are

. …..      ..

.

.

.

.

Here you are minding your own business in peace and quiet, and up comes some unexpected blip-on-the-screen workaround. It’s okay, you calmly accept a disruption or speed bump now and then – that’s perfectly normal, and you are expert at holding your ground, and holding your course, gracefully.

.

.

Three of Pentacles – Three of Pentacles is arguably the most versatile card in the Tarot deck. It is probably the best Tarot Verbatim™ example of how one card changes its approach with the influence of another: That is why it is the guide card to the Tarot Email Training program, introducing you to each of the other cards so the deck (your bridge to the subconscious) can talk to you.

.

Today, for example, Three of Pentacles is in the company of Eight of Pentacles, which is about work and doing something (and keeping at it). So today you see Three of Pentacles’ conference, interview, team or group of people, meeting, negotiating, dealing with, and fairness meanings – in addition to its old standbys, ‘relationship’ and ‘together.’ And today, those words are in the light of the boss man, King of Swords (or the manly man, the leader).

.

In the illustration here, the architect (who, back then when cathedrals were being built, also supervised the construction workers) meets with his clients to demonstrate the building is built according to that blueprint his clients are looking at. He demonstrates he has done his part in their contract. This is their wrap-up final formal meeting. When they agree he has done the job, he gets his final payout that represents his profit. All the words in this paragraph are meanings Three of Pentacles can bring your sentences.

.

Three of Pentacles (and Three of Cups to a lesser extent) often indicates a meeting of three people. It will show up in medical stories as doctors of different specialties putting their heads together to come to a mutual diagnosis on a given patient. You can see that that is ‘coming to agreement’ and is ‘teamwork.’

.

So today you can see this business meeting about work being done. Since Three of Pentacles’ most frequent translate is ‘relationship,’ and since we have King of Swords in our story, you can also see a relationship with that tall steely manly man (John Wayne).

King of Swords – Take a good look: This King of Swords card is one that shows up least frequently. It has the fewest index cards in my Tarot dictionary. So who is he? – he is the military leader, the man of discipline, the strong man or strongman the authority. See, he is armed with that double-edged sword he holds upright, and he sits upright too. (King of Swords can also be militant.) He is the leader and the boss. Often, King of Swords shows up to represent a man with natural leadership in his personality.

.

So King of Swords will show up for a man who has a leadership position (regardless of his individual personality) – the boss, the influential man who issues some sort of mandate, supervisor, the authority, the policeman, the lawyer – even the judge. Or the referee at a sports match: the authority. (King of Swords will show up for the word ‘authority’ sometimes, and not necessarily represent a person.)

.

In romance or social stories, King of Swords is the manly man, the leader, the tall steely dude, the boss, the dominant party in the relationship, and the ‘leader of men,’ John Wayne. (John Wayne, in my Tarot’s view, is the man every man wants to be.)

Eight of Pentacles – Now we look at someone who is engaged in getting the job done, the task done. If you have ever heard a professional carpenter hammer, you pick up on the steady consistent keeping-at-it aspect of Eight of Pentacles, which is one of its main applications: it may translate ‘steady’ and it may translate in tandem with another card ‘keep __ing,’ with the other card’s meaning where the blank in this sentence is. This ‘keeping-at-it aspect extends to phrases that mean ‘one after the other,’ similar to Eight of Wands, phrases like ‘over and over’ and ‘each and every time.’

.

And that keeping-at-it stretches to ‘always.’ Eight of Pentacles is one of many cards that can simply say ‘always,’ and the ‘always’ is in different connotations and applications.

.

Now we turn to Eight of Pentacles’ usual application: work and job. Think up any work-related word or phrase, and Eight of Pentacles is your boy for it. Today we have: work, job, his job, for employees, construction worker, everyone who works here, what they did at work, a job, my job, working on, hammer things out, for a job here, this is a job for, and this work is done by.

.

Note since our Eight of Pentacles man is a carpenter that Eight of Pentacles is construction work, or construction worker(s) specifically. Today Three of Pentacles is also a card about builders, so we have construction worker stories.

.

Lastly, Eight of Pentacles also applies to some of Magicians do/done/did/doing translates, and that includes noun clauses like ‘what he is doing.’ And of course, Eight of Pentacles isn’t limited to what a male person (or animal) does when it simply means its ‘doing’ categories.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

. ….. …..

Today is a great example of how cards bring out aspects in one another: King of Swords is the boss in the work of Eight of Pentacles, and is the manly man in the relationship of Three of Pentacles. Not to mention people getting together, Three of Pentacles, and getting something done (Eight of Pentacles). And King of Swords is the leader of the team (Three of Pentacles), not necessarily limited to the ‘boss’ title.

.

Moving into social relationships and romance, we see King of Swords as the manly man in a steady (Eight of Pentacles) relationship (Three of Pentacles).

.

Three of Pentacles has a legal aspect mainly because it involves the contract the architect has with his clients, the priest and nun, plus the meeting aspect – so you see a legal meeting with an authority (King of Swords) here. King of Swords is any authority, and is authority itself, so he can be a judge, a lawyer, or a policeman or other regulator (even a political authority of any sort). Keep in mind that the legal + meeting = a hearing in court before an authority, often a judge but it could be a tribunal or arbitration board conducting a hearing.

. ….. …..

.

AND NOW WITHOUT THE PICTURES:

.

.

A team leader at work gets everyone to keep at it and get the job done, and one of those men with the natural leadership ability in his personality is just the man for the job. He may also be just the man to keep a steady social or romantic relationship going too. Today we salute such an enabler.

Tarot Readings for You for September 14-15, 2017 Thursday-Friday©

Sep 13, 2017 by

(Both my computers have been inoperable for a week due to its maintenance techs choosing to have something called iDrive, a cloud backup thing, installed. It totally wrecked both of them. Remember iDrive: It runs Mercedes Benz self-driving cars! And THAT is why you are getting another email today. No time to finish the 3-card analytical post I started on each of the two computers.)

.

Now, here’s a common situation. Women tend to take it personally when, after a wonderful first date, Dude is unresponsive. Quite often though, when I access Dude’s experience, it’s all about what’s going on in his life and where he’s at … like not wanting to re-live the last breakup/divorce. So the moral is: Don’t take it personally. (Just tell yourself he has bad taste in good women after all.)

.

Today we have two questions from the same Querant. Is it about the same fellow? – I don’t know.

.

.

For those of you who have been waiting for the much-delayed lessons, well, they are now live. There’s a big blue button you can check them out with.

Email Reading

The category of life is:: Love

My question is:: I had a first date with a guy after an intense 1 month chatting online. Now he is cold towards me. Why is he not contacting me, will it help if I call him and ask him out or it will make me look weak?

Question: Why isn’t he calling me, and what effect would it have if I call him?

Ten of Wands – Four of Swords – Ten of Cups*

.

When it comes to being happy as a couple, wait and don’t do anything.

When it comes to the happily-ever-after, – Ten of Cups

just don’t participate or respond – Four of Swords

and wait it out as long as it takes. – Ten of Wands

* (Our Daily Spread November 20, 2012 Tuesday© | TarotVerbatim.com

has 3 out of these four cards, for those of you who are looking them up.)

.

.

.

.

Temperance – Knight of Wands – Ten of Swords

.

.

Star – Fool – Eight of Swords

Being crazy about a woman can’t happen if you aren’t there.

Saying ‘I love you’ to a woman- Star

can’t happen – Eight of Swords

if you ignore it all and are not present. – Fool

.

It’s not personal, he isn’t interested in a real relationship. Note you have both of the positive marriage cards (Four of Wands, which shows a wedding; Ten of Cups, married with children and happily ever after).

.

It’s clear that he is attracted to you, is favorably impressed by you. The last reading makes that clear: If you don’t talk to her, you won’t be telling her you love her.

.

.

her second question:

Email Reading
The category of life is:: Love

Question: In the upcoming 6 months, what kind of attitudes will Love Interest develop toward me and our relationship?

.

Lovers – Four of Pentacles – Four of Cups

He quits withholding love.

He quits – Four of Cups

withholding – Four of Pentacles

.

.

Seven of Swords – Two of Pentacles – Ace of Wands

Developing daring sexually (sexual rhythm?)

.

.

Three of Cups – Strength – Five of Swords

He rebels (gets snarky) because your influence is the reason he is sharing your beautiful life with you.

He rebels, gets snarky, shows his ass because – Five of Swords

your influence on him is the reason he isn’t being snarky – Strength

and is sharing your gracious world with you. – Three of Cups

.

.

Four of Wands – Two of Cups – Hierophant

Without doing anything, you influence him toward marriage.

You are quiet, even unresponsive, – High Priestess

which influences him (kind of involuntarily) – Two of Cups

toward union with you in marriage. – Four of Wands

.

.

Nine of Pentacles – Sun – Page of Pentacles

He feels you could leave him and still have an enjoyable, fulfilled life: You are good at minding your own business coolly.

You are so good at having a life of your own – Nine of Pentacles

he feels – Page of Pentacles

you could leave him and have an enjoyable life. – Sun

.

.

Here we have the common theme of a bull impelled to commit to a relationship precisely because his cow is keeping her options open. This is classic guythink.  Notice his resentment side-effect when he is really getting along with you:  Strength and Five of Wands … you take the fight out of him.

.

Note the cards that describe you in this relationship from his perspective are all cards of women who are private, have a life/house of their own, and have things under control. You are not fussing over him like Queen of Pentacles would, not being ‘understanding’ like Queen of Cups would, for instance. Google Queen of Wands, Three of Cups, Strength, High Priestess and Nine of Pentacles for a study of this.
