Tarot Readings for You for February 1, 2014 Friday©

Guidance     Subconscious Motivation: Our interior life has a lot more to do with *what we end up doing* than we are ready to admit even to ourselves. As we experience our scenes, we look to validate how we already think and feel, and give weight to, or brush off, a particular piece of it accordingly. We do what we have a built-in impulse to do … more than we want to admit. On a deeper level, we act from subconscious motivations that are submerged or suppressed within ourselves. I am here to tell you they don’t have to be unavailable to you, that you can take them out and play with them, and have more of yourself on tap.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!

People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.

‘Group Tarot Cards Reading’ (just below this) is the actual word-for-word messages from the pictures of the four cards you see – to everyone. Tarot Readings:  Subconscious Deep Feelings (Fool and Four of Pentacles)

Subconscious deep feelings are the actual wellsprings of action.

I am suppressing the voice in my gut that tells me to do (that).

There’s a voice in my head telling me not to do (that).

We are unaware, because we suppress it, that we just do what we feel like doing.

He isn’t going to do it until he gets that feelin’.

Resisting acting out of some subconscious motivation.

Talking you into it subliminally, because it’s something you would not do.

Subconscious motivation to keep myself from doing something.

Tarot Readings:  Just Won’t Say ‘I Love You’ (Star and Four of Pentacles)

Just won’t let himself admit he loves (you).

He isn’t going to say ‘I love you,’ because, then, he can’t let himself act  like he does.

He said ‘I love you’ before he knew it, and now he keeps himself from doing anything about it.

Not talking about how deeply I feel, just letting you do it.

He loves her, deep down inside, but he isn’t about to act that way.

He said ‘I love you’ before he knew it, and now he keeps himself from doing anything about it.

Tarot Readings:  Isn’t Going to Do (Four of Pentacles and Magician)

Isn’t going to tell you (he) isn’t going to do it.

Isn’t listening to you talkin’ at him, and isn’t gonna do it.

Disregard the incessant talk (the gushing); it is her way of not doing it.

People who do don’t talk about it:  Just assume that.

Ignore this person:  ‘All talk and no action.’

Subconscious motivation to keep myself from doing something.

He said ‘I love you’ before he knew it, and now he keeps himself from doing anything about it.

All this talk about what you are doing, and you aren’t even here to do much.

Resisting acting out of some subconscious motivation.

Make light of his warm fuzzy speeches, or he won’t be doing any of those things he talks about.

Tarot Readings:  Feelings Deep Down (Star and Four of Pentacles)

When she makes all these speeches, just don’t let it get to you.

I don’t know what to do, but I have a feeling, deep down, that everything will turn out well.

I don’t know how I really feel about that, but I got talked into doing it.

I am not there because I don’t enjoy doing that.

I don’t know how I feel about that, so I’m not letting myself get started.

Tarot Readings:  Don’t Know What I’m Doing/What to Do (Fool and Magician)

Since I don’t know what I’m doing, I’m not running my mouth about it.

I didn’t listen to the instructions, so I have no idea what to do.

After all I said, I can’t admit I haven’t a clue how to get it done.

I don’t know what (they) said to do, so I am not doing it.

I don’t know what to do about my lack of good feeling.

I just can’t get worked up about things I can’t do anything about.

I just don’t know what to do, and I don’t want to talk about it either.

I didn’t tell you how to do it, but I’m not admitting that – not me!

Let’s not admit we did it, just blow it off when people talk about it.

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL SIX 2-CARD COMBINATIONS is a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

Magician

Fool – Star – Four of Pentacles

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

Fool and Four of Pentacles are both not doing, are inwardly-directed and are refraining from activity. Both can also mean ‘blowing it off,’ ignoring, not admitting it. Fool is an optimistic vibe, and Four of Pentacles whimpers. Fool is a free spirit; Four of Pentacles stifles him- or her- self. Fool lives in his or her subconscious/superconscious, and, yes, Four of Pentacles bottles it up.

Fool is ‘not with us,’ not on the same page as Earth. Look for Fool to be open-minded, openhearted, and just plain open. This can be out of being young and oblivious; it can be from a frisky mood; it can also be that a person is oriented to nonphysical or spiritual realities and therefore immune to some commonsense considerations the rest of us deal with. Fool is possibly ‘leading a charmed life’ along the lines of ‘God protects fools and drunks’ or that a deeply spiritual person seems immune to some mishaps. Fool can also be not on the same wavelength as the rest of us for many other reasons – even, say, senility. Whatever, whatever. Fool also is about optimism and faith. He is not going to fall off that cliff, see?

Four of Pentacles, on the other hand, is shutting down his/her/its feelings and/or shutting out the world (or shutting out someone or something). Four of Pentacles is not talking or not admitting. Four of Pentacles is deep-seated feelings, or feelings we won’t admit to ourselves, or that we deny to outsiders. Secrets are its province.

Another aspect of Four of Pentacles is being broke, feeling inferior – or any form of deficit you can think of. Low levels.

Four of Pentacles covers both hugging and sulking, at times, and sometimes even means ‘outside of town’ or out of town.

Fool and Star are groovy, optimistic and are feeling good. These are upbeat folks whose outlook is rosy. They are in a groove, a happy groove. Nothing can faze them for now. Fool’s groove is more his essential nature, and Star’s is more whatever Star is doing, and is into, at this time. Star is, after all, singing in the shower. Likewise, ‘don’t know how I feel about that’ is Fool (I dunno) and Star (a lot of feeling). Fool is subconscious; Star is motivation – so together they often translate ‘subconscious motivation.’

Our remaining Rider-Waite Tarot citizen, Magician, just happens to contribute phrases that dovetail well with the rest of his fellow panelists’.

Fool and Magician For instance, ‘don’t know what I’m doing’ is Fool (don’t know) and Magician’s complex of ‘to do’ and ‘to make’ meanings.

Four of Pentacles and Magician‘Not going to let myself get started’ is Four of Pentacles (refraining from action, stifling oneself) and Magician’s meaning of ‘to start.’ Four of Pentacles and Magician also say ‘Not talking about it, doing it’ or ‘not admitting (I) did it.

Star and Magician say things like ‘I enjoy doing’ and ‘I got talked into doing.’ Star is motivation and enthusiasm, so we are gung-ho about doing whatever it is.

Star and Four of Pentacles both have deep feelings. Star is talking about them enthusiastically, and Four of Pentacles’ lips are sealed about them. Star is exuberant; Four of Pentacles sulks (not always of course). Star’s deep feelings are like Fool’s, upbeat, and Star is a missionary about his or her feelings or beliefs; Four of Pentacles isn’t about to divulge them. Star said that; Four of Pentacles was mum. Star blabbed but Four of Pentacles keeps your secret. Sometimes the emphasis in Star is on the hearing rather than the speaking or performance. Star is a performer. Star can indicate someone is a singer.

Our core study today, I think, is that our interior life has a lot more to do with *what we end up doing* than we are ready to admit even to ourselves. As we experience our reality, we look to validate how we already think and feel, and give weight to, or brush off, some piece of it accordingly. I try so hard not to do that myself, and it’s so much easier to see when someone else is doing that.

We do what we have the urge to do … more than we want to admit. On a deeper level, we act from subconscious motivations that are submerged or suppressed within ourselves. I am here to tell you they don’t have to be unavailable, that you can take them out and play with them, and have more of yourself on tap.Right below this is one way to encourage that expansion of your awareness:

Fool    Fool is ‘not with us,’ not on the same page as Earth.  Look for Fool to be open-minded, openhearted, and just plain open.  This can be out of being young and oblivious; it can be from a frisky mood; it can also be that a person is oriented to nonphysical realities and therefore immune to some commonsense considerations the rest of us deal with … like not skipping off a cliff.  (Yeah, that’s rare.) Fool can also be not on the same wavelength as the rest of us for many other reasons – even, say, senility.  Whatever, whatever. Fool also is about optimism and faith.

Star    feels great, is enthusiastic and optimistic; Star is singing or performing or giving a rah-rah sales pitch (call to action).  It’s a happy groove and a rosy outlook, unfazed.  Star is you getting talked into something, or talking someone into something.  Star is the invigorated feeling that makes us sing in the shower.  Star is also about good health and a shapely woman.

Four of Pentacles keeps it bottled up inside, doesn’t admit, feels deep down, keeps a secret, is shutting down his/her/its feelings and/or shutting out the world (or shutting out someone or something). Four of Pentacles is not talking or not admitting. Four of Pentacles is deep-seated feelings, or feelings we won’t admit to ourselves, or that we deny to outsiders. Secrets and denial are its province.

It’s also all about not having enough, being broke, being short of anything, a deficit (of anything) or shortage, or low level. Four of Pentacles is feeling inferior or shamed or guilty, or even being inferior.

Four of Pentacles covers both hugging and sulking, at times, and sometimes even means ‘outside of town’ or out of town.

Magician    Guys do things.  Magician is the male principle of action (of being active rather than receptive – opposite states in metaphysical circles).  So any form of the verb  ‘do’ or ‘make’ or its synonyms … say, to bring about … is Magician.  He is pictured with his arm raised about to bring about some event or action with his magic wand. Magician also means ‘Do it yourself’ type things, and ‘to take initiative.’ Of course it refers to the doing of anything, and to anything having been done: the thing itself, rather than the action.

Tarot Readings for You for October 4, 2013 Friday(c)

Guidance     Viewing, today, how men and women of different styles of assertiveness interact with one another. A couple who are each leaders in their respective fields is a couple with few or no conflicts.  A forceful man is uneasy around a woman who is coolly independent.  A woman who owns her niche is oblivious to the man who is the leader of the pack.  Daddy is afraid she is one of those free spirits who has a mind of her own.

King of Swords

Fool – Nine of Pentacles – Nine of Wands

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Two of our Rider Waite Tarot citizens – Fool and Nine of Pentacles – mean to not pay attention to or to ignore. The other two refer in different ways to being a soldier.

Today we are using one vein of Fool’s many potential applications – the ‘be free’ and the ‘free of’ one. Here are some of its translations: cool (women) who ignore; no __anywhere around; is free; you are free from; aren’t __ by; overlook; pays no attention; just ignores; blithely; isn’t at all _; simply don’t; there’s no _ looking over your shoulder; that _ will be ignored; as she pleases; no thought of; free spirit; simply no; simply aren’t_ by; doesn’t care; don’t even think of it; no _ at all.

Nine of Pentacles bolsters the ‘not pay attention’ meanings of Fool. Today you find her meaning ‘to mind your own business,’ to live alone and be single, to be independent, to stay home because you choose to, to be free to do whatever you want (and to not do, as well).

And the other two of our Rider Waite Tarot citizens refer to soldierly matters.  Nine of Wands guards a turf that is subject to invasion, and feels apprehensive, threatened or intimidated; and King of Swords is the soldierly figure, the authority, the enforcer or regulator or police, the masculine strong man (not the tough guy type) who can be an intimidating or imposing or commanding figure.

Both Nine of Pentacles and Nine of Wands refer to occupying a niche.  For Nine of Pentacles, that is the main meaning:  She’s got her turf and she stays on it, and that’s her satisfying life.  Nine of Wands, on the other hand, occupies threatened territory he is defending nervously, that isn’t really his:  He is the border guard.

Our themes of turf and assertiveness, being free and independence get together to make stories about getting along with types of people who could make us uneasy. We make it our business to get along with types we could clash with, for our peace of mind.

.

Fool ‘Most ambiguous card in the deck,’ he is. Fool means to be oblivious, to be young and heedless as a free spirit, to be free or free of, to blithely ignore, to not be present. It means ‘just’ and ‘simply’ too.  It is about assumptions and faith, about living according to your own dictates even when they make no sense.  The card actually refers to living by spiritual principles which makes your actions make little sense in ‘the real world.’ World has a similar connotation that living in the spiritual means you are invisible to opposition in ‘the real world.’

The illustration in Fool exemplifies the ‘makes little sense in the real world’ concept:  He is about to walk off a cliff with his dog;  he is on a land journey with no provisions.

Nine of Pentacles does not seek your approval and is not interested in your doings.  She’s got her turf and she stays on it, and that’s her satisfying life.  Nine of Pentacles is to mind your own business, to live alone and be single, to stay home because you choose, to be independent and able to do whatever you want and to not-do whatever you don’t want.  She does not vote or go out shopping.  Her meaningful relationship is with that bird she has on her arm.

Nine of Wands exemplifies that tight spot we are in or have been in.  Guarding against imminent threat.  Defending or defensive.  Wounded and still holding up.  Nine of Wands is the border guard, is defending his or her home or position, very subject to assault –  illustrated by the bandaged head wound.  Hanging in there.  Holding the fort.

King of Swords is the masculine or manly man or strong man or disciplined man.  He is the man ‘all men’ want to be.  He is also military or militant.  The commander or a commanding figure.  He is also the police or a cop.  Or a regulator.  Or your lord and master, the governor.  Or daddy.  He is similar to the Emperor in that you have both character and manliness – with the usual shades of meanings, of course.

King of Swords’ illustration shows the posture of the professional soldier, and the ‘tall, dark and handsome’ masculine man.

Tarot Readings for You for August 23, 2013 Friday(c)

Aug 22, 2013 by

Guidance     We are about the strong woman, not only as wife and mother but as the businesswoman who ‘runs a tight ship.’  You just don’t do that in her domain; she does not allow it.  She is pictured both as the working mother superwoman and as the free spirit who isn’t about to do the housework.  Being practical all the time shuts out the subconscious.  She isn’t one to mindlessly do the same thing over and over.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in! People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.

.
If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ (above) is a summary of what the cards are telling visitors to be aware of that day.

These readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow. The family of commenters here would love for you to join in (the very last, at the bottom).

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contractions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it.

 Queen of Wands

Eight of Pentacles – Four of Cups – Fool

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Both Fool and Four of Cups share a ‘disregard’ or ‘ignore’ meaning.  But Four of Cups is more to refuse to pay any mind,  and Fool is to just naturally not pay any attention.

Fool also has many additional meanings – to be free, subconscious, to be young, optimism, to not be present, to not look where you’re going, a trip by foot, and many others we are not using today.

The other two cards do share a work meaning. They are Eight of Pentacles, work or repetitive routines as in ‘keep doing,’ and Queen of Wands as the woman who runs her house and/or her workplace efficiently. She is the manager. These two together also describe a competent woman who works at home.

Queen of Wands is the main card that means ‘wife,’ and she is also The Mama – a mother who watches and disciplines, who is a presence.

Our theme is a strong woman who handles ordinary life competently – no dreamer or glamor-puss.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Eight of Pentacles is the work, workplace, worker, employment, etc. It also means doing something repetitively, over and over, as in a routine. A carpenter is pictured in the Rider Waite deck who is making identical objects one after the other.

Four of Cups means to refuse, to turn down an offer, to not do something.  So it ends up being a negative modifier at times, as in Four of Cups with Eight of Pentacles meaning unemployed rather than ‘refusing to work.’  The Rider Waite Tarot illustrates this idea by a seated fellow, eyes averted, arms crossed, head turned, as one cup after another is offered him.

Fool is oblivious. It is about being ‘out there.’ On planet earth, he is about to prance over a cliff with his pet, and is on a foot journey without provisions. I suspect this Tarot card is the source of the phrase ‘fool’s journey.’ The mood of this card is very lighthearted, suggesting his journey is ‘out there.’

Queen of Wands is the polar opposite of Fool: She is the down-to-earth, practical, no-nonsense woman who runs her house or her business efficiently. You see her with a big stick in one hand and a flower in the other, that ‘mama’ look on her face.

Tarot Readings: He is Truly in Love (Ace of Cups + Knight of Cups)

Well, I don’t see anything wrong with that gal, I am in warm fuzzy love, that’s all.

If he feels a gal is minding her own business, he takes the initiative to express love.

He is in love with love, it really has nothing to do with the girl.

When you are in love, you assume you are courting your ideal woman.

Be sweet to a woman and don’t give her any problems, and she just loves you.

She loves him but he cannot contact her. He guesses he may as well be a good guy.

He freely accepts that he isn’t in contact with the woman he loves.

It’s true love between an affectionate man and a lady who simply doesn’t need him.

Of course he will be sweet, it’s true love and she has nothing to worry about.

Assumes he is just the boyfriend because she loves him and has no problems with him.

He loves the women who are into free love and have no problems about themselves.

Tarot Readings: Love and More Love (Ace of Cups)

The kind of lighthearted free-spirited sweet boyfriend you love regardless of his faults.

Not needing people gives them such freedom they love you.

When you ignore the sweet-natured guys, you ignore love.

Your friend is one of those people you just love without thinking about it at all, who has no faults, it seems.

She loves him, he loves her, what’s to worry about?

She is naïve, has no notion about people’s evil intentions, is a friendly loving person.

He and she are both so ‘out there’ that affection just flows freely.

Tarot Readings: Loving Friend (Ace of Cups + Knight of Cups)

With a little help from my friends, I just block out troubles and pay no attention to them.

What you don’t know won’t hurt you when you have a friend who keeps you safe.

A gentle soul, so free, so easy to get along with, you never have a problem with him.

If only you knew the trouble you are missing with a little help from your friend.

She is in peace, no one bothers her, she has only friends.

You are safe from the harm that is out there because of a friend you don’t even know.

She is at peace, no one bothers her, she has only friends.

She assumes she is safe because she is with a friend.

Tarot Readings: Good Health (Ace of Cups)

Avoiding harmful things is what gives good health.

No one gives you any trouble when you offer to help.

Immunity gives you having no health worries at all.

They give you a clean bill of health – no problems at all.

Tarot Readings: No Problems (Fool + World)

He offers no trouble, he will simply cooperate.

Don’t worry, you have no problems here; you are given cooperation.

Just cooperate with the offer of immunity.

Ignores an offer of help as if ‘I’m okay; I have no problems at all.’

She’s the ‘iron maiden’: You cannot get to her so you may as well be nice, be harmless.

Nothing at all bothers her, she is friendly and at ease.

Offering to help but she assumes she has no problem.

When you have divine protection, you can go around being very open and friendly.

She has an easy life, no problems, she assumes some guy will help her.

There’s cooperation and no opposition; we just accept it, that’s all.

Friends cannot reach her, but it’s okay, she’s only out of range.

Tarot Readings: Lovers Mutually Ignoring One Another (Ace of Cups + Fool, World)

She loves him but doesn’t need him; he loves her but she doesn’t matter to him.

Loves you and doesn’t pay attention to you, so you act like there’s no boyfriend around.

He is a free spirit and she minds her own business, so he can be very loving with her.

He seeks her out when she cuts him off, he loves her most when she is oblivious.

He is in love with her but he acts as if he isn’t, so she is shutting him out.

It’s women who don’t need him that he is in love with. He can be so sweet to someone who doesn’t pay attention to him.

They mutually disregard one another: That way, they can have friendly cooperation.

She has her defenses up to this unconditional love, ‘he’s just a friend, he isn’t a boyfriend.’

Love doesn’t get through to her; she ignores boyfriends.

She is in love with this sweet young guy whom she has nothing to do with and doesn’t even know.

Miscellaneous Tarot Readings

Accept without further thought that it’s through God one has spiritual mastery.

A peace offering so you won’t assume I’m someone to block out.

When a person won’t put up with anything at all, you may as well make a good offer.

 Knight of Cups

Ace of Cups – Fool – World

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

First off, we got Love. Ace of Cups is true love, unconditional love, even God’s love. Knight of Cups is a fellow in love, a friend who is affectionate and helps, a gentle soul who goes out of his way to make peace.

Fool is when you don’t let reality get in the way, when you just let it fly, are ‘up’ and optimistic … and oblivious, and free-spirited. Put him next to the two love cards, and you have that floating-on-air feeling that messes with your mind when you are in love. Fool and Ace of Cups ‘let it flow.’

World, too, is oblivious to problems in the real world. Put Fool and World together, and you have a man and a woman who are oblivious to, or ignoring, one another … but that is somehow not a problem.

Both Ace of Cups and World refer to ‘no harm.’ In between them is Fool, to whom also comes no harm. In another vein, Ace of Cups is great good health, and World represents a strong immune system … and Fool, in that company, is ‘the absence of’ any health problems.

Okay! Love is keeping us in good shape and keeping anything harmful at bay. Today, our life is charmed!

Ace of Cups
Fool
World
Knight of Cups

Ace of Cups Enigma for an illustration, here: God’s spirit is flowing through and enlivening the human body (and its fluids) with health, peace, and all good things. Meanings are true love, unconditional love, even God’s love, no harm, pure feelings and great good health.

Fool is when you don’t let reality get in the way, when you just let it fly, are ‘up’ and optimistic … and oblivious, and free-spirited. Fool depicts that floating-on-air feeling that messes with your mind when you are in love. Fool (to whom no harm comes) ‘lets it flow’ as he enjoys an absence of all problems. Is that a whistling I am hearing?

World A spiritually mature human repels trouble like a street-wise person repels muggers. ‘Been there, done that, know how to deal with it.’ So World can be oblivious to problems and no harm will come. With a strong immune system, somehow you get no symptoms.

Knight of Cups is a fellow in love, a friend who is affectionate and helps, a gentle soul who goes out of his way to make peace. He wears the wings of Mercury the communicator on his helmet, his hand is out with the offer of the cup of friendship.

I N S T R U C T I O N S & Explanations (Comments are below this.)

Did you come here just for your predictions? – If so, you are done when you finish reading the sentences of Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading.

Each Tarot sentence is a literal-interpretation reading of the scenes pictured on the four cards you see. Only what each of the cards says – phrase by phrase – no fillers – no psychic ability used. The readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. Tarot, all by itself, talks to you. This is a demonstration of that .

Tarot will address any group flexibly, as it does here of ‘all the visitors.’ (It can address ‘all the people at work who have a say in my raise,’ for instance, without you knowing who or where those people are.)

Horoscopes are group readings too.

Astrology has to be based on someone else’s birth data, though, so it does not solidly apply to you just because of where the sun was when you were born. (Astrologers know this.)

Emily wants to know whether these sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than for people who have come only a few times. Would you help with a comment, if that is who you are? Please?

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no, never or not.’ That negative modifier can apply to any one of the cards.

Without a question also the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute.  Notice how, as much as possible, we drop pronouns, which makes for some awkward phrasing.

The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information! In a ‘real’ reading, the parties are identified (including the gender of the questioner!), and so is the time frame if there is one. In this group reading, we cannot do that, so we have variety.

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing. This tells the thinking regarding the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  This is the meaning of each separate card.  This is how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works. Regular visitors actually learn to read Tarot without trying. The Tarot Talks tab has some examples for students.

P. S. Call Emily for your personal live reading at 800 99 3 6 9 12 (from Eastern 1 p. m. to Eastern 1 a. m. at least, every day). Emily analyzes relationships in business situations and personal situations accurately from *Tarot, *intuitive, and *practical perspectives. She tells you what is happening and what to do about it to make it happen best. (Testimonials about this are on the web site http://EmilysInsight.com and here under its Tab, and in Comments.)

PRONOUNS ARE INTERCHANGEABLE: ‘I’ and ‘He’ are favored.

Tarot Readings: Thinking, Seeing, Considering (Page of Pentacles)

He is neither morbid nor giddy; he considers carefully.

I think the worst that could happen is that I not be a happy camper.

Be a freethinker, not a pessimist.

When I am in pain, I think of happy times.

It hurts to think so I don’t, and I’m happy.

Think on happy things and not the downside.

Don’t be careless, be mindful of the hazards.

He is seriously thinking about putting a stop to a harmful recreation.

Now that I think about it, it’s impossible, so I am not going any farther into it; and I feel good about that.

Happy to be free of mental illness. Happy to know I’m not mentally disabled.

Tarot Readings: Free, Free Spirit, Lightweight (Sun)

Don’t worry about the bad stuff; be happy.

I end its nasty influence over me; I am escaping.

Stop thinking about worst case scenarios, and you will be free of them.

Yay! Things are not as bad as they could be for me.

It’s not such a bad thing to just be a lightweight.

He does not hate anyone, he is a free spirit.

Tarot Readings: Fun (Sun)

I’m into having fun, nothing too heavy.

It isn’t nasty; I think it’s fun.

There’s nothing wrong with having a little reckless fun.

I think it’s not sinful to have my fun.

He isn’t lost, he is out having fun.

Tarot Readings: Stop, Quit, End, Not (Two of Swords)

I end its nasty influence over me; I am escaping.

Am not on the dangerous road, I am avoiding it.

I know I’m a kid, I don’t go there when it comes to sick stuff.

I avoid the occult, it’s just not me.

I know how not to get a disease and have my fun.

I am concerned that my kid not have a bad time of it.

He is seriously thinking about putting a stop to a harmful recreation.

Now that I see how hazardous my impulsive ways are, I’m quitting right here.

Tarot Readings: The Dark Side, Hates, Trouble, Worst, Addiction, Enslaved, Hazard or Danger, Impossible Situation (Moon)

He is looking to be free and not enslaved.

Look on the bright side, not on the dark side.

He knows he’s not free of addiction.

I am not free of this bad situation.

Not knowing the dangers makes him reckless.

There’s no way a person can escape having troubles.

I see I did not get out of trouble.

I know I am not free of having a bad side.

Don’t be careless, be mindful of the hazards.

He longs for freedom from this hideous dead end.

He hates not being free.

I don’t think I’m free of fault.

Playboy doesn’t think you hate him.

I am wrong; I wasn’t thinking, just doing what comes naturally.

I don’t think I will be free of this really bad feeling or this fear.

He doesn’t think he is a hateful brat.

There’s no way to avoid hating yourself.

The callous little guy doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with him.

Tarot Readings: Being a Kid, Kids (Sun)

I do not know how sick the baby is.

He thinks it isn’t his kid, is hateful about this.

I am concerned that my kid not have a bad time of it.

I hate kids and am not having any.

I do not hate kids.

My kids are not bad.

I don’t let my kids be bad.

My kids are not the worst ones.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

Moon is the dark side, the worst case, impossible, hate, sickness, dementia, lost, sinful, evil, slimy or dirty … anything awful. You always hope to see Moon in the very company we see it in here.

Sun and Two of Swords are the ‘very company’ I spoke of. Sun is to be free of, to escape, to be lightweight or free-spirited or recreational about something. Two of Swords cancels things out and negates them and puts a stop to them.

So Sun + Moon is to escape the worst, to be free of sickness or hate or whatever Moon is meaning. And Sun + Two of Swords is not evil, not sick and to put an end to being evil or sick: It negates whatever Moon is representing. Like a said, good escorts for this bad Moon card.

Page of Pentacles is about identity, so it often means ‘I’ or ‘he’ or any person. Page of Pentacles also is the view of perspective: He looks at, considers, thinks and contemplates.

Two of Swords makes him say ‘I don’t think,’ so when you add Moon, you get ‘I don’t think that’s wrong.’ Add Sun, and he doesn’t think it’s wrong to have a little fun. See? That’s how the variety in the one-sentence readings comes about, as well as the contradictions … because you can see that Two of Swords and Sun are ‘not fun.’

Our message is to think our way out of whatever we see as a bad scene, and free ourselves of it. “He is neither morbid nor giddy; he considers carefully.” To not do what we think is wrong is to be free-spirited.

Sun is to be free or free of, to escape, to be lightweight or free-spirited or playful or recreational about something. It also means to be reckless, impulsive, bratty or a playboy. Moon To occultists, this is the Left-hand Path with the two evil towers, so it would be the road to hell in a sense. Natural enemies, dog and coyote, are together. A lobster starts on a land journey. Moon is lost soul, lost, the dark side, the worst, hate, dementia, impossible, sinful, evil, contaminated or toxic, slimy or dirty … anything awful.

Page of Pentacles is a self-conscious thoughtful young person, usually male, who gazes studiously upon his pentacle. This is about identity, so it often means ‘I’ or ‘he’ or any person. Page of Pentacles also is the view or perspective: He looks at, considers, thinks and contemplates. ‘I am’ or ‘he is’ are its common phrases.
