Tarot Readings for You for April 13-14, 2017 Thursday-Friday©

Apr 12, 2017 by

Here is another Email Reading. It’s from a past format. This one is a good example of why it is a good idea to say – in a romantic question – whether you and/or the other party are married. It shows how I can answer without that specification, and be right, though.

Question:  Hi Emily. Please can you have a look at my love life. I have been seeing someone for a while but it is complicated. Please can you see how he feels about me and if we have a future together. Many thanks

I am going to have to answer in the alternative. We have a marriage theme. If you are married or he is married, not to one another, these cards could apply differently.

Question: How does he feel about you?

Lovers

Nine of Pentacles – Four of Wands – Three of Cups

Nine of Pentacles: He sees you as someone who can take care of herself, who minds her own business, who can do just fine without him as a single woman.

Lovers: and you two are a pair, are lovers, are partners, are together.

Four of Wands: You are a couple, you are together, you are family – and this is the main marriage card. Illustration shows a wedding.

Three of Cups: Once again, you are happy together, you are sharing one another’s lives and enjoying it.

Three out of four cards mean together, and together in a good, happy sharing family way. The other card describes the way he sees you: independent, the opposite of clingy.

(A fellow who values a Nine of Pentacles woman, who is married, usually has a clingy and/or bossy wife. A live-in will show up as a marriage in Tarot, and so sometimes will the mother of the fellow’s child.)

.

.

.

Four of Swords

King of Wands – Seven of Cups – Hanged Man

King of Wands: The passionate man, your man, the practical hands-on working man, the angry or frustrated man, fellow with a temper … and the husband. He is your man, he feels a family bond, a marriage bond with you.

Seven of Cups: Things are messed up*

Hanged Man: and he feels strongly

Four of Swords: that they are going to stay that way, and ‘There’s nothing I can do about this,’ (which is often a cop out. I call it ‘can’t-itis. Especially true of menfolk: It they dread doing something, or if they simply don’t want to do something, they say (and may believe) that they can’t. Very common.)

*messed up – This is your ‘Things are complicated.’

As I said, we have a marriage theme, all three of our spreads. This one looks very much like he is married to someone else. If that isn’t the case, let me know, and I will apply that – or ask another question.

.

.

.

.

Question: ” … and if we have a future together.”  This is vague, so I will assume you mean:  Are you and the dude going to be a couple who love one another out in public, with a good future together?   Maybe you even mean get married or live together.

.

Three of Pentacles

Queen of Cups – Justice – Eight of Swords

Eight of Swords: Another card that means ‘can’t.’ Unable, hands are tied.

Queen of Cups and Justice:   These taken together can mean legal wife: The woman who loves, admires and understands him, the loyal wife, the good woman, Queen of Cups, and Justice is commitment, suggests marriage especially if there is a theme … which there is, here. These two cards together also say ‘Her idea she will be married/committed to this man.’ – because Queen of Cups also means her thought, her idea, woman is thinking.

Three of Pentacles: A relationship in which each person does her/her part, an agreement or ‘by agreement,’ and also means meeting together in person.

So this says you two have a relationship that both parties engage in but it isn’t going to be the way you are thinking … ‘which is marriage’ or ‘because of a marriage.’

Feedback from client:

Hi Emily, Many thanks for your answer, you are right in your assumptions.

Tarot Readings for You for June 10, 2014 Tuesday(c)

Jun 10, 2014 by

Guidance        Losing control, or going out of control, is like most things: a matter of degree and kind. Letting inspiration run loose in us often is a good thing, so we wish we could remember those crazy dreams that woke us up. Letting our temper loose can be therapeutic to a situation, and to ourselves, but a little of that goes a long way. Not being as crazy as I was … is usually a good idea. I invite myself to go AWOL before losing it and making a mess. If I don’t the next sound I hear will be footsteps getting fainter. We discuss the plight of the angry man stereotype.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!

People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.
If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ (above) is a summary of what the cards are telling visitors to be aware of this day.

‘Group Tarot Cards Reading’ (just below this) is the actual word-for-word messages from the pictures of the four cards you see – to everyone. These readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.

Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow. The family of commenters here would love for you to join in (the very last thing, at the bottom).

Tarot Readings: A Dream is Coming On (Eight of Cups and Seven of Cups)

A dream is interrupted … its pieces are confusing … how frustrating.

In the middle of the night, I turn my imagination loose.

Off I go into the wild blue yonder – it’s exhilarating.

When the muse comes on, I drop everything – it’s an adrenalin rush.

Suddenly thrust into a scene or a subject I don’t get at all, and I’m energized.

………………….…………………

Tarot Readings: His Unbelievable Work (King of Wands and Seven of Cups0

This workingman multitasks at the drop of a hat.

Gemini type fellow will try anything once.

He does unbelievable work in no time.

………………….…………………

Tarot Readings: Not as Crazy as I Was (Eight of Cups and Seven of Cups)

Wild man doesn’t make a mess of things anymore.

You can be uninhibited and impulsive without being out of control.

He has a temper but he doesn’t break things anymore.

When something doesn’t make sense, I don’t let it make me mad.

He is hot to be a married man all of a sudden for no reason.

Distract him when he is about to blow his top.

He reflexively swerves – there’s something unknown in the road.

………………….…………………

Tarot Readings: Leave a Bad Scene (Eight of Cups and Seven of Cups)

Feeling edgy? – Get out before before you blow.

Get away from this angry crazy fellow.

He gets excited and slams out of there in the midst of a meltdown.

He lets his nastiness out in the most amazing ways.

I go off the deep end when I get mad.

The impulse to run away when things are not adding up.

When you reach the point that everything gets to you, it’s time out.

My husband went crazy and left.

It drives him mad when he takes a shortcut and gets lost.

The hotblooded man goes AWOL and leaves a mess behind.

Life fell apart when Dad abandoned ship.

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONSis a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

………………….………………….

Eight of Cups – King of Wands – Seven of Cups

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

………………….………………… Here we have the angry man, King of Wands,

………………….………………… going out of control, going crazy, Seven of Cups;

………………….………………… and leaving the scene, Eight of Cups.

……..………………………….King Of Wands and Seven of Cups The man with the temper and losing control: Not a good combination. It can even say ‘the irrational madman’ on a particularly bad day.

……..………………………… Eight of Cups and Seven of Cups Eight of Cups is leaving or getting out abruptly in any number of ways; Seven of Cups is a bad scene, out of control, senseless. So, leaving a bad scene. But Seven of Cups is also the muse and dreams, and of course Eight of Cups is to abruptly appear as well as abruptly disappear, so: The muse suddenly comes upon us.

….…..……………………. Eight of Cups and King of Wands The angry man leaving: You can see that, right? It also says ‘he leaves before he gets mad’ and even ‘He avoids being angry.’ It even says ‘out with that redneck’ on a particularly bad day.

So this is a study in impulsiveness, in letting loose. We explore the different ways, and illustrate their uses and abuses, their advantages and their consequences. We feel around for the line in the sand.

Eight of Cups……..         Eight of Cups is a broad spectrum Tarot card; it hath many applications.   Often, it is leaving.    It is abrupt change, a dropping out or a dropping in, a detour or re-routing.   It’s over with before it begins; it’s abrupt; it vanishes; it runs off the road; it drops out of school.   The illustration is a pilgrim who has to go around geographical barriers, on foot, but is still going to Mecca or wherever.

King of Wands……….         Think Archie Bunker.   The common man, the laborer, the edgy fellow with the temper or with the big mouth.  He is maybe low class, but could have money and be a stockbroker-banker stereotype too.  This is the husband card, ironically enough – partly because Queen of Wands is the manager of the home, the wife.  He is also the wild and crazy uninhibited dude, the maverick, the passionate man … and the man with a job.

Seven of Cups ……….          Illustration is either/or Pandora’s Box or the Sorcerer’s Apprentice: The gremlins are out of the box and stirring up the dust.    Things are out of control, unexplained, and situation is confusing.   Brain fog, chaos, disorganization, debris and pieces of things.   Shock and awe, amazing … and the muse. Spirits are about.
