Tarot Readings for You for December 16-17, 2017 Weekend©

GUIDANCE                Like a rattlesnake camouflaged in your woodpile is one of those easygoing nogoodnik friends who are on the take all the time. That slow smile. That relaxed voice. So agreeable to everything because, of course, they don’t believe in anything in particular unless someone is around who does. This is how you get away with being consistently on the take, I am telling myself.

.

.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!

People love this place! Our site is divided into three sections: Guidance; Group Tarot Cards Readings; Learn Tarot by Observing and Learn Tarot by Pictures.

So what do you want to do? –

Did you come here for YOUR PREDICTIONS? daily trends? –

*Then you read the summary above, titled GUIDANCE,

*Then you read the one-sentence readings below titled GROUP TAROT CARDS READINGand you’re done: See you tomorrow. Invite your friends. At the very bottom are comments. New! – the black boxes to the right as you scroll down allow you to comment right there.

GROUP TAROT CARDS READING is the actual word-for-word messages from the pictures of the three cards you see – to everyone. These readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

Now, Part Two,

Did you come here to ACCESS YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS? –

*Then you read HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS – resonates with your subconscious awareness! – and you’re done.

Did you come here to RESEARCH CARD MEANINGS? –

*Then you go to LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING and LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES for single card meanings and for what those cards say today as they get along with their companion cards, which is important for Tarot Verbatim™, whose expertise is combinations of Tarot cards’ meanings.

*Then you go to Now we show where each of the phrases in each of the sentences comes from: for phrases individual cards make in the day’s sentences. This applies the knowledge.

*Then you read HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS – resonates with your subconscious awareness! for language created by each pair of Rider Waite Tarot cards, in Tarot Verbatim™. Now you are done, if you chose to do it all. Comments are at the very bottom.

Did you come for combined meanings of other cards than these?

*Then you can put names of any two cards into Google, and get their combined meanings. You can also write in one card followed by ‘Tarot Verbatim,’ and get paragraphs of meanings for it.

.

Two of Pentacles Ups and down. Back and forth. Round and round – another round. Constant, consistent. Unstable too. Think movement first when you see Two of Pentacles. The stable consistent movement comes from the ability of the performer (another meaning of this card) dancing whilst juggling. The unstable movement comes of course from the ships being heaved about by the waves.

.

The branch of the unstable meanings produces words like ‘maybe’ and ‘iffy.’ ‘Whether or not’ and the indecisive applications of this Two of Pentacles card also arise from the ‘unstable’ category of meanings. So does ‘if.’ Remember Two of Pentacles makes things conditional, as in today’s ‘should you choose to be.’ ‘Gives him butterflies’ we say today: Two of Pentacles can be the nausea you feel on a tossing ship.

.

The constant movement makes Two of Pentacles yet another card that can say ‘always’ and ‘again’ and ‘keeps being’ or ‘keeps doing’ phrases. One after another.

.

The movement in the illustration makes Two of Pentacles pick up the word ‘turn’ in its forms. Turns out to be. Turns around. It also gives Two of Pentacles membership in the ‘come back’ or ‘return’ Tarot tribe.

Knight of Cups Here’s Sir Galahad. Here’s The Warm Puppy. Here’s The Good Guy. Good-natured, the kind of person who sells us on himself (or herself) and whatever else he sells or believes. The warm fuzzy cards are drawn in Rider Waite with relaxed lines and softer, inviting colors. His horse (you can tell from its posture) has been standing there for a while and is in a mellow mood. Our knight (wearing Mercury’s wings on his helmet) holds the cup of friendship out to someone: He takes the friendly initiative.

.

So Knight of Cups is the Boyfriend card. He and Page of Wands can read ‘Prince Charming.’ Words today for this sort of thing are: lovable, helping, accepting, good-natured, be good to you, his good nature, good person, warmhearted friend, with my heart, boyfriend, romantic initiative, affectionate man, be a good-guy, fine manners, being a lover, and your best friend.

.

Today we do not emphasize much the giving-and-accepting meanings of Knight of Cups. That applies especially to suggestions: giving a suggestion, accepting a suggestion. Knight of Cups is a ‘much obliged to help’ type person.

.

As such an easygoing good guy, Knight of Cups also slips over into ‘goody two shoes’ territory today. People call you that when you aren’t dirty enough for them.

Seven of SwordsIn broad daylight (the bright yellow sky) he sneaks into enemy camp and makes off with as many of their good weapons as he can carry. No sheath on those blades he holds in his gloveless hands, so our hero is acting impulsively and recklessly; this isn’t a planned-out mission in the picture. He is self-destructive, daring, gutsy, and adventurous.

.

But he is successful. That is the point: He gets away with it. We all love a successful bank robber in our heart of hearts, the Robin Hood. Seven of Swords is about having the guts to have the adventure to pull it off. To dare. To win the gamble.

.

So Seven of Swords is divided between the gangster, shyster, the thief, the bad-boy, the smooth operator, the cheater, the back-stabbing traitor, the violator of your trust – and the daring culture hero. In America, we combine the two and applaud the bad-guy who dispatches worse-guys to their doom.

.

.

.

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

                   LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES..

.. ….. …     .

.

Knight of Cups is the guy we all root for, the Good Guy. Seven of Swords is the Bad Guy we all boo. And they are introduced by ‘ it could go either way’ Two of Pentacles. Knight of Cups is the buddy who helps out, and Seven of Swords helps himself. Knight of Cups is the friend you trust, and Seven of Swords is not to be trusted, friend or not. Two of Pentacles says we go ‘round and ‘round with this process. And he is so right.

.

Seven of Swords is taking a chance, and Knight of Cups is the loving fellow, so ‘ whether to take a chance on love’ or ‘gambling again with my heart’ is another story these three Rider Waite Tarot cards are telling. This pair of cards also says ‘ one damned thing after another’ for my Knight of Cups friend. And the same pair talk about accepting ( Knight of Cups) stolen property ( Seven of Swords) being iffy.

. ….. .     .

.

.

AND NOW WITHOUT THE PICTURES:

.

Knight of Cups is the guy we all root for, the Good Guy. Seven of Swords is the Bad Guy we all boo. And they are introduced by ‘it could go either way’ Two of Pentacles. Knight of Cups is the buddy who helps out, and Seven of Swords helps himself. Knight of Cups is the friend you trust, and Seven of Swords is not to be trusted, friend or not. Two of Pentacles says we go ‘round and ‘round with this process. And he is so right.

.

Seven of Swords is taking a chance, and Knight of Cups is the loving fellow, so ‘whether to take a chance on love’ or ‘gambling again with my heart’ is another story these three Rider Waite Tarot cards are telling. This pair of cards also says ‘one damned thing after another’ for my Knight of Cups friend. And the same pair talk about accepting (Knight of Cups) stolen property (Seven of Swords).

. ….. .     .

.

.

.

.

You take your chances on being good or being bad at any given intersection, and also take your chances on the next person to you being good or being bad. Nice guys don’t get any loot, but they don’t get arrested either. Some clever people act out being the good-hearted buddy while getting away with the loot, and have the best of both worlds. At least for a while. We could be a good-guy, or we could be a bad-guy, today! Whether to ….

Tarot Readings for You for November 22, 2017 Wednesday©

Nov 21, 2017 by

Oh, here we have the old story of the ‘dance-away lover,’ as Cosmopolitan magazine dubs it. Today’s readings for the lady in the story draw a profile consistent with, maybe, a fella who thinks of himself as ‘the Kid.’ There’s no doubt of the attraction, here!

.

You can have a reading done just like this one for whatever you might be wondering about. As you can see, it’s pretty clear. And you can Google any of the cards and demonstrate to yourself that we got ourselves a system here of meanings that work.

.

You can learn the method you see demonstrated here – yes, you can. Check out the story of Tarot Email Training at the ‘Get Them Now’ bar over there.  There’s some descriptions of what it’s all about there.

.

And watch for new Tarot products upcoming here. I’m working on a few with some good people who are a team.

.

Have yourself a really decent Thanksgiving tomorrow.

Emily

.

Here’s your reading.

The main meanings of the cards are what is expressed, which means it’s likely to happen that way.
.
Client writes:
Thank you Emily! I’ve been doing readings for myself and have been getting the same cards, I’ve just been interpreting them in a grimmer light. It’s nice to have someone who can put it into clear sentences. This is very helpful.
.
Emily replies:
Yes, being aware of the lighter meanings for the heavier cards as they interface with others is something you learn with experience. .
Tarot Email Training shows you these things; lessons aren’t just about card meanings, at all.

Thank you for that endorsement. Would like to use your reading and your comment for a site post, if it’s okay with you.

.

Client writes:
Yes, please use my reading on your site. Just don’t use my real name. Ill take a look at the endorsement link.

.

Emily replies:
I especially like that you said ‘I get the same cards,’ because that is very common when I do readings for people who are using Tarot Verbatim™ for themselves.

.

Client writes:
Is it possible for the tarot to predict timing? Like when will he come back?
I’ve been getting the lovers, strength and magician for that question.

.

Emily replies:
“Put time in the question,” which turns it into a yes-or-no question. So not ‘When will’ but ‘Will it happen in the next (whatever, 3 months). OR ‘Will it happen while I still want it to?’

Briefly, Tarot is a data bank in mass conscious accessed via your subconscious. Time doesn’t exist wherever that is, and time is the movement of planets, which is irrelevant to ‘out there’s’ point of view or perception.
.
Lovers – Strength – Magician say You influence him to take initiative to be your love partner.  You influence him (Strength) to take initiative (Magician) to be your love partner (Lovers.

Emily

Tarot Readings for You for November 15, 2017 Wednesday©

Nov 14, 2017 by

Oh, those times when something is going on right under our noses, and it’s about us, and we are not picking up on it. I have had a few, have you? Tarot’s report is that that is what is happening in the life of the Querant who graciously shares her terrible story with us. Sometimes, as a reader, you hope you are wrong!

.

You can Google any one or two of these cards and get usable meanings from the archives of Tarot Verbatim. Lots of people are doing just that these days. And you can purchase an analytical Tarot explanation of something you wonder about up there on the navigation tab that says Email Readings.

.

Best of all, you can gain expertise in reading subtle details of Tarot with the Email Training Program Emily writes. Check into it at the ‘Get Them Now’ tab to the right of this. A wonderful book about reading Tarot comes with it.

.

And the news is that people are working on making an app of the Guidance paragraphs which are a witty summary of the day, along with the italics paragraph that appears in the middle of our posts. Emily (me) has high hopes for this.

Now, here’s the drama of our friend’s life:

1) What are my boss’ feelings and plans with respect to me personally?

.

.

.

Fool – Nine of Pentacles – Four of Wands

2) Will my boss dilute his proximity with the interfering male senior colleague (that is, will he display his loyalty to me by not expecting me to work proximately with that person)?

.

Queen of Cups – Queen of Swords – Seven of Wands

The interfering fellow is there to deprive you of an understanding with your boss.

The interfering fellow is there to – Seven of Wands

Devil – Eight of Swords – Six of Pentacles

Tarot Readings for You for November 1, 2017 Wednesday©

Oct 31, 2017 by

Here it is Email Wednesday again, and I am bringing you two email readings.

.

First Email Reading:

We have a lass who seeks to end a stalemate regardless. Enough of this anteroom cooling-my-heels stuff, she is thinking: “Bring it on!” Fish or cut bait, as fishermen put it.

She writes: “The fellow and I didn’t end up going out. I am getting frustrated and I want to give up. What can I do to either release this or bring this into physical form? Is this going to even turn into a relationship? I have already sent my payment.”

.

.

.

Question: What can I do to either release this or bring this into physical form?

.

Devil – Eight of Pentacles – Four of Cups

It’s one after another rude behavior on his part, and you won’t put up with it.

You refuse to have anything to do with – Four of Cups

his constant – Eight of Pentacles

rudeness. – Devil

.

.

Three of Pentacles – Ace of Cups – Ace of Swords

Order him to do his part and cooperate in this love relationship.

You give an ultimatum that – Ace of Swords

he be loving, and cooperate – Ace of Cups

in this relationship. – Three of Pentacles

.

.

Page of Cups – Justice – Five of Swords

“Fool, how do you justify your low-class smart-ass behavior?”

“You are making an ass of yourself – Page of Cups

“jerking me around like this: – Five of Swords

“and I’m laying the law down here.” – Justice

.

.

Ten of Cups – Knight of Cups – Six of Swords

He either makes both of us happy as a boyfriend, or he leaves.

“Make both of us happy – Ten of Cups

“you being my boyfriend – Knight of Cups

“or you’re outta here.” – Six of Swords

.

.

King of Swords – Ten of Pentacles – Seven of Wands

Confront him with the trouble he causes in this relationship, and he’s responsible as a grown man.

Confront him with the fact – Seven of Wands

he is a responsible grownup – King of Swords

and look at the mess he makes of the relationship he is in. – Ten of Pentacles

.

.

Hierophant – Two of Swords – Eight of Wands

Tell him “Be decent or else.”

Tell him: – Eight of Wands

“Be decent – Hierophant

“or else.” – Two of Swords

.

His behavior is not decent in any way.

His behavior – Hierophant

is not – Two of Swords

decent – Hierophant

in any way. – Eight of Wands

.

.

This is logical. “Ship up or shape out,” as the old-timers would put it, is exactly the way you feel, and this is the best move to get him to do one or the other. It’s not just the words as you deliver them, but the passion in the tone of voice, that prompts him to act. The problem is, he may do both. Stay tuned for the next exciting episode.

.

.

Second Email Reading:

And here’s a woman who wants to know whether the romance will happen, whether she has a future with the fellow who interests her. It’s one of those long distance ones when it’s hard to tell, so she asks Tarot.

.

You can ask Tarot whenever there’s something you wonder about, and get a report illustrated like the one you see here. Look up at the navigation tab labeled Email Readings; it’s inexpensive.

.

Google any one, or any pair of the cards in her answers, and see in further detail how they say what they say here. Visitors do that to train themselves to have a two-way chat with Tarot.

.

.

Email Reading

The category of life is:: Love

My question is:: I am currently in a long-distance relationship and I am wondering if anything will come of it in the future ... Will we have a successful romantic relationship?

This describes the phases of romance that Cosmo years ago dubbed ‘the dance-away lover.’ Off and on. And the longer that continues, the more he wears down and commits. You named ‘the future’ as the time in your question, so that’s what this covers. Outside interests as distractions that make this relationship less important will come in handy if you decide to stick with this romantic story.

.

You can Google any one, or any pair, of these cards and get more information about these – but this story is pretty straightforward.

Client emails Emily:

Thank You Emily! I have read many of your posts and I like your interpretations which is why I asked for a reading. Yes, you may use this if you would like.

Also, I am aware that this man has some commitment issues. According to our astrological charts and numerology charts, he is a Soulmate so the going back and forth sounds pretty accurate.

Out of curiosity, can you give me a time-frame on this? I know that I didn’t specify when I asked the question, but I have been told that Tarot readings don’t generally go too far into the future.

Lastly, if I have additional questions can I call to have them answered?

Thank You SO Much,

.

.

Emily replies:

rule of thumb is 3 months, unspecified, but that’s next to useless.

Let me explain why Tarot (and other divinations) don’t tell time. The story line is in one place, and it’s about interactions and existing situations, and what grows out of that.

Time is the movement of celestial bodies. The two, from ‘out there’s’ perspective, are unrelated. It’s like I’m telling you a story and you ask ‘Was the moon balsamic then?’ Irrelevant.

Another factor readers miss (partly out of choice) is that if you ask what is best for you to do, and you don’t do that, the time prediction isn’t applicable.

In this particular case, we have a back-and-forth cycle which creates a ‘yes’ over and over that is revoked over and over: where does it stop?

Advice: Push the clutch in, and disconnect that racing motor from the where the rubber meets the road. If you think of it that way, it helps.

Thank you for the permission. Does it also embrace our chat here, which enriches the reader’s experience of the post?

Client responds to Emily:

Emily,

Thank You again for the reading and for your quick response. I believe I understand what you are saying. The reason I asked about timing, is because I wasn’t aware of all of the aspects here. He hasn’t expressed much about his feelings so I was a little surprised that marriage had even come up in the reading.

If I understand correctly, you are saying that I should put my foot down and not accept the wishy-washy behavior. Is that the correct assumption based on the car analogy?

He had mentioned living together a couple of times but we never seriously discussed it. Interesting …

Yes, you can use the conversation to enhance the post.

Emily responds:

Thank you again for the kind permission.

Yes. ‘Where do you stand?’ is a fair question.

.

The mention of marriage is not so much any intent to settle down on his part as it is a validation that, yes, he is serious, and it’s what he fears … that slippery slope

Tarot Readings for You for September 28-29, 2017 Thursday-Friday©

Sep 27, 2017 by

Here is an email reading of a gal who has washed that man out of her hair and is ready to meet a good one.  Thank you, Girl, for sharing your story here with us.

As I said yesterday, these emails are replacing the analytical three-card spreads because both my computers were inoperable for a whole week, and this is how to make up for that lost time and still share something good with you.

You can get a reading like this for yourself anytime, and it’s affordable.  See the ‘Email Readings’ tab at the top of our site.

Email Reading

The category of life is:: Love

My question is::

I’m taking steps to meet someone special. What’s the next step for my love life?

.

.

Six of Swords – Two of Wands – Ten of Pentacles

Got a plan – you set out to avoid the crazies, the complicated relationships.

You have a plan – Two of Wands

you set out to avoid – Six of Swords

the crazies, the dysfunctional relationships. – Ten of Pentacles

.

.

Three of Pentacles – Eight of Cups – Knight of Pentacles

You duck out on a relationship with a macho fellow who’s fascinated with you.

You duck out on – Eight of Cups

a relationship with – Three of Pentacles

a macho fellow who’s fascinated with you. – Knight of Pentacles

.

.

Eight of Wands – Chariot – Four of Cups

He just talks like he’s a levelheaded achiever, but he’s not – you say ‘no.’

He just talks like – Eight of Wands

he is the director of operations, a responsible leader – Chariot

but he’s NOT, so you pay him no attention. – Four of Cups

.

.

Six of Wands – Two of Cups – Two of Swords

You have nothing to do with the pretend grand sexual love affair.

You have nothing at all to do with – Two of Swords

the grand sexual seduction routines – Two of Cups

that are all show and pretense. – Six of Wands

.

.

Five of Pentacles – Three of Wands – Strength

You handle a rather lengthy dry spell.

You handle … expertly … – Strength

a rather lengthy – Three of Wands

dry spell. – Five of Pentacles

.

.

Judgment – World – Ten of Swords

You shut them all out, and the sorry scene changes dramatically.

You shut them all out – World

and the sorry scene – Ten of Swords

changes dramatically – an entirely new and better phase. – Judgment

.

.

Seven of Cups – Hierophant – Knight of Cups

A nice normal affectionate guy who takes initiative is a needle in a haystack.

A nice normal – Hierophant

affectionate guy who takes initiative – Knight of Cups

is a needle in a haystack. – Seven of Cups

.

.

Star – King of Cups – Lovers

A warmhearted man who talks about how he loves you and is your love partner.

Here’s a gentleman, a good man who’s calm and warmhearted – King of Cups

– who talks! – who says ‘I love you’ – Star

– who is a partner in a love relationship with you. – Lovers

.

.

So the next step is you weeding out candidates quickly and decisively – and Tarot describes the men, perhaps in the sequence they appear – so as to make room for the real one who is what you have in mind: he loves you, he says he loves you, and he talks to you!

.

Here’s to the happiest possible hunting and to the success of the hunt!

.

If you say I may use this as a post on our blog, it will be a shortcut; I am still making up for the lost week the techs who maintain my computer caused.

,

Client to Emily:

Thank you, Emily!

This is one of my favorites from you.

Please feel free to use!

.

Emily to Client:

Done, thank you, and I added your comments.  I love the way it made a story, and the language.

,

Client to Emily:

Me too
