Tarot Readings for You for September 1, 2013 Sunday(c)

Aug 31, 2013 by

Guidance     Even when it’s true love, you are crazy about one another, and ‘he calls,’ there are still things to work out in paradise. Most frequent glitch in paradise is a guy just isn’t as mushy as a girl would order from a catalog. Even if he is sincere, he will often tell his guy friends he loves her before he confesses that to her! And don’t expect full disclosure of his past love interests. He says ‘I love you’ today.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in! People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.

If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ (above) is a summary of what the cards are telling visitors to be aware of that day.

‘Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading’ (just below this) is the actual word-for-word messages to everyone. These readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow. The family of commenters here would love for you to join in (the very last, at the bottom).

Tarot Readings: He Doesn’t Talk About It (Star and Two of Swords)

Tarot Readings: She is so in Love (Star and Six of Cups)

Tarot Readings: Love’s Glitches (Two of Swords and Six of Cups)

Tarot Readings: Boyfriend and the Past (Knight of Cups and Six of Cups)

.

Tarot Readings: He Doesn’t Talk About It (Star and Two of Swords)

A guy doesn’t talk a lot of warm fuzzy stuff.

He does not want her telling all about him being so sweet.

He is not one to talk about his love life.

He isn’t some young guy to carry on about the gal he loves.

He doesn’t talk a lot about how he loves her, but shows his love by giving her things and doing things for her.

He didn’t used to say ‘I love you.’

You are telling your friends you are her guy, not her.

A guy doesn’t talk about past girlfriends.

A guy doesn’t talk about his past.

Tarot Readings: She is so in Love (Star and Six of Cups)

You are not being naïve; this boyfriend does love you.

This is the LAST boyfriend, she is thrilled with this love relationship.

He makes you feel good all over like no one in the past has.

So in love she doesn’t talk to her friends.

He isn’t a romantic type to talk about his love feelings.

He says he isn’t in love but he is being your boyfriend.

He was in love with you a long time ago, he just didn’t tell you.

He tells his friends he is your guy, not you.

His friends tell him not to give you flowers.

They say boyfriend is not too young.

No more cute young guys to be crazy about.

Doesn’t even tell her sister about the warm puppy.

Tarot Readings: Love’s Glitches (Two of Swords and Six of Cups)

She is not interested in the affectionate man who is crazy about her, and so romantic.

When you are discouraging him, he is so sweet, calling you, confessing his love.

Boyfriend tells you he doesn’t want children.

People speak well of him, say he is a good man. It hasn’t been that way in the past.

This fellow is not his friend, he is flirting with you.

It says no children are permitted.

Boyfriend does not talk with the child/children.

Boyfriend loves you but not your kids.

Tarot Readings: Boyfriend and the Past (Knight of Cups and Six of Cups)

Boyfriend does not talk about his past.

This is the man who makes you feel good all over, like nothing in the past.

Never mind the past, here is a good man saying “I love you” now.

He is your boyfriend now; he doesn’t talk about his past girlfriend.

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards,  by itself,  has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contractions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it.

Six of Cups

Knight of Cups, Star, Two of Swords

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

There are three ultra romantic Tarot messengers out of four, all of whom mean to express love, so the Two of Swords, which is a negator, is not going to get very far. It is outnumbered, outweighed, outshouted. Many more similar messages to the ones we have here, but they don’t add anything.

Knight of Cups is the Boyfriend, the agreeable or romantic lover, the one who does call, does take initiative to show affection. He is considered a young man in Tarot. A sweet guy, the kind young girls coo “He’s soooo cuuuute.”

Six of Cups is also young (even children), and Six of Cups is also sweet and romantic, also means the fellow takes initiative to express his love. These two bounce off of each other nicely.

Then the Star card sends those two into overdrive. Star means to confess love, to be crazy about or wildly enthusiastic about, and to say so. It means to feel good all over and to confess those feelings.

So you can see the Two of Swords naysayer is a nitpicker today.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Knight of Cups is the boyfriend. He is the affectionate man, the one who calls, the one who expresses, the one who takes the initiative and makes the first move, sweetly. This is Prince Charming, appropriately pictured in pastel tones and curved lines, and offering the cup of friendship with outstretched hand.

Star is feeling good all over, being enthusiastic, confessing love, talking a lot (even babbling), and being crazy about someone (or something). The feeling of singing in the shower is here in the illustration, which shows a female taking a bath.

Two of Swords, what are you doing here? You can’t stop this train. Stopping something is what Two of Swords does; she is the roadblock, the balance of forces that creates a stalemate. Stalemate is not the kind of mating we are talking about here, Two of Swords.

Six of Cups is a sweet kid (grows up to be Knight of Cups), a naïve person, romantic life, child or children, sweet love. It is the past as well. Little boy gives little girl flowers in the name you have for this card in the back of your mind. Its illustration is cute and old-fashioned.

 Hermit

Six of Pentacles – Star – Ace of Pentacles

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

All three of these cards involve what is right and doing what is right: Six of Pentacles is to pay what you owe honestly, and to receive money. Hermit is honesty. Ace of Pentacles is both doing or being right and having money.

The idea of being rewarded is in both Six of Pentacles and Ace of Pentacles. Both of them are having money: Six of Pentacles is receiving or paying it, and Ace of Pentacles is possessing it.

Hermit is being on the Path and Ace of Pentacles is the Path.

Star means good health and Hermit is a healer and represents sobriety. Hermit brings the truth and Star tells the good news.

Tarot observes that good health comes from good living and good medical advice. In the same breath, Tarot is saying that living right by your own reckoning gives you good health. Then Tarot goes further and claims that making honest money and paying what is due brings that good feeling that is the basis of happiness to your life.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Six of Pentacles is getting paid or paying, is getting what you deserve or giving others what they deserve. It is doing the right thing. An employer is shown weighing coins to pay his employees fairly. Yes, this is a justice card.

 .

.

Star associates being clean and being happy. Star is singing in the shower, feeling good, good vibrations, good health. It also is to tell or explain, to publicize, and to perform – especially singing. The performance in the illustration is a ceremonial bath, and it shows the bather pouring two pitchers into the water.

.

.

Ace of Pentacles juxtaposesspirituality and money. The straight and narrow path is there for all to see, with its lilies of purity in front and its rose arbor of victory at the far end, and with the hand with the large sum in it representing money and success. One of the things it is saying is that when you are on the right path, your life is all right.

.

.

Hermit’s meanings grow directly out of its picture: The monk goes out looking for travelers on the road to help them, bringing his light. He is an old man who is living an honest life of service to others, and he is a doctor as well, a healer. Being ‘on the Path’ is of course suggested.

Three of Swords

Two of Wands – High Priestess – Queen of Wands

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

What do High Priestess and Queen of Wands have in common? High Priestess stays; Queen of Wands is the housewife. High Priestess is the Other Woman; Queen of Wands is the Wife. High Priestess is the bookkeeper; Queen of Wands is the manager. Both are competent females. High Priestess knows, is an expert and a scholar, is on the theoretical side; Queen of Wands is a doer, is practical. High Priestess is associated with spiritual life and the spiritual plane; Queen of Wands is earthbound and good at it. High Priestess is passive; Queen of Wands is active.

High Priestess has great insight and also means psychic; Two of Wands refers to the future, so together the psychic foretells or knows the future.

Three of Swords is the party pooper here. It is being against, clash, adversity, hard times, divorce, not getting along, hostility, a fight or being at odds with another person, hateful or disagreeable, and stormy weather.

Three of Swords emphasizes the differences between the two female cards, High Priestess and Queen of Wands. Two of Wands puts the clash into the future.

Our theme points out that there are situations that put you and another person at odds with one another. It’s the situation, more than a personal dislike. (If she weren’t the Wife or The Other Woman, you would not take any particular note of her. Tarot points out that you can just be quiet about your differences when you are on someone else’s turf.

.

.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Two of Wands is financial security, and ‘asset’ in a banking sense – hence using the house as an asset when Queen of Wands owns a house.  It also means the future, and a plan.  The illustration shows a banker planning his real estate kingdom below, standing on this finished roof with the whole world in his hands.

High Priestess means plenty of other things besides the other woman. She is alone and ‘she stays.’  She is pictured in Rider Waite as sitting alone, representing the passive female principle.  The other woman sits alone waiting passively: That is how this Rider Waite Tarot card that means a highly knowledgeable expert, a spiritual adept, and the spiritual plane itself comes also to mean the other woman.

Queen of Wands is being the Wife and the woman who owns a house, and/or who runs a business, today.  In her illustration, she sits alert on a nice solid throne with a flower in one hand and a big stick in the other.

Three of Swords today is limited to divorce or to being against or averse to.  It means hurt and heartache too. The stylized heart with swords going through it and storm clouds behind says it all: stormy weather, heart trouble, hard times, adversity.

Tarot Readings for You for August 25, 2013 Sunday(c)

Guidance      Here’s you, wielding the kind of influence, having the kind of air about yourself, that nips opposition in the bud.  You can handle anything, you pet lions who want to eat you.  A spiritual adept is seldom opposed face-on in ‘the real world’ in the same way that a gorgeous sexy woman tends to get her way no matter how a fellow fights the influence, in the same way a street-wise person goes unnoticed by muggers.  Some people resent this natural process and want to get in the way of it.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

We have two women who are ‘winners’ in different ways:

Empress is sitting pretty, has got it made, is gorgeous, is comfortable, relaxed (‘laid back’). She is resourceful (and is a resource). Life is easy and things are easy for her.  (Well of course they are:  She is the fertility goddess.)

Strength is skilled at influencing, particularly influencing whatever would get in her way.  She defuses conflict while it is still a glint in the eye of the predator. She is so adept at conflict that bullies bypass her – in this world and the next. She resolves situations deftly; she finesses opposition.

Right in the middle of these two dames, who do we have? The mouthy pushy Seven of Wands, a defiant oppositional hellraiser, the guy who feels his turf is intruded upon. He’s mad as hell and won’t take it anymore, whatever it is. He protests. He is a challenge to his environment. But Seven of Wands in other company is a person fighting for what is rightfully his, fighting against the odds for his place.

Then comes Eight of Pentacles saying this happens all the time and/or is happening at work.

This story has latitude, can spread out. You can see its open wings right here.

Empress is the stereotype of the laid-back Southern White Trash barfly (and I mean that in a nice way) who calls all the guys ‘honey.’  She could be the barkeep, too.  As the fertility goddess, she is the ideal woman or on the slutty side, or both.  She is spoiled, is living the rich life of leisurely luxury there on her many cushions. ‘The blond goddess,’  Leonard Cohen says in one of his wonderful songs.

Seven of Wands is the stereotypical pushy loudmouth anything.  He doth protest. This is a teenager of any age.  This is the ‘in your face’ person. This is often the entitled mooch.

In Tarot Verbatim™, the action and the person are interchangeable, so Seven of Wands can mean any part of this experience.  Seven of Wands also means to defend yourself, that you are under some sort of attack, and the fight is against the odds for you to win … but you will – so it can be you who is mad as hell and not going to take it anymore.  Pictured is a fellow defending his place for all he’s worth against several neighbors.

Strength is the person who has ‘the touch,’ has the skill to shut down opposition before it is raised.  The symbols on this Rider Waite Tarot card indicate that a spiritually skilled person influences the environment in such a way that opposition does not occur ‘in the real world.’  So Seven of Wands in today’s story is up against his master.  That lion is not purring because he wants to, he is purring because he has to.

Eight of Pentacles shows up a lot,  doesn’t he?  This means it happens over and over,  and/or it happens at work.  That carpenter is at his work bench making the same object over and over.

Tarot Readings for You for August 26, 2013 Monday(c)

Aug 25, 2013 by

Guidance      is about riding the cloud of chaos to have your kingdom in order, about being forced to deal with craziness, even your own, in order to succeed and succeed in your own style. It’s about making upside-down things turn out right however it must be done. It’s about having a sane life in a crazy world even if you are insane too. If you succeed in several unrelated fields, you are an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurs win when things get wrecked.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in! People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.

.

Ace of Swords

Nine of Pentacles – Seven of Cups – Chariot

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Two things hit me first when I look at these four Rider Waite citizens at our Tarot table. The first is Seven of Cups and Ace of Swords, respectively meaning out of control, and totally in control. The other is that three of these four involve being in charge, ruling. (That would be everybody except Seven of Cups, of course.) Chariot is the successful military strategist and Ace of Swords means victory in the battle.

Chariot is the one with the skill to put destabilized situations in order. Nine of Pentacles enjoys the orderly result. This man and woman have the same way of life (Everything is under control.) but his is public and aggressive, and hers is private and peaceful.

Oh, this is an interesting lineup. In the center is crazy out-of-control Seven of Cups (which also means ‘all kinds of things’).  To the left is Nine of Pentacles, a woman who is in control of her orderly life, business, kingdom or whatever, who is moneyed and successful.  To the right is Chariot, a man who is in control of his orderly life, business, kingdom or whatever, who is successful, ambitious, purposeful (and presumably moneyed).

And over them all is Ace of Swords. It means totally under control, ‘have to,’ force, absolute, an order, conquer, a victory, and so on.

We are talking about craziness as a factor in success, aren’t we? We are talking about dealing with craziness (yours and theirs) as a step on the path to success.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Nine of Pentacles has her life in order and is the captain of her soul.  She lives the life she wants, has the things she wants and is ‘alone’ in the Greta Garbo sense of the word.  She don’ need nobody.  There she stands with her falcon in her vineyard, a snail before her to indicate she does things in her own sweet time.

Seven of Cups are things gone awry as in the Sorcerer’s Apprentice or as in Pandora’s Box – things in pieces and scattered, shattered, in shocking nonsensical shape all over the place. Losing control or lost control … of anything, including the mind. Craziness, crazy-making. It can involve spirits, since both those stories do, and magic.

Chariot has everything – I mean everything under control.  He is the crafty strategist on the respectable side.  He will get ahead using the very things that prevent him from getting ahead.  He has hitched those stubborn steeds so that the one that will go only left is on the right and vice versa, so they will get him ahead in spite of themselves.  He and Strength have a lot in common; they should make babies to populate this sad world.

Ace of Swords does not take ‘no’ for an answer.  That’s an order.  It’s absolutely one way and absolutely not the other.  It is victory for one side and defeat for the other – no half measures.  That hand is holding a blade crowned with the laurel wreath of victory.
