Tarot Readings for You for April 21-22, 2017 Friday-Saturday©

GUIDANCE       You get a little dizzy these days looking simultaneously at the way things are, and the way things really are. ‘The real physical world’ we say … even we who know the physical world isn’t all that real. Acting in the theater that we have agreed to call official reality limits our scope of experience, but act upon this surface we do. And today we also note that there are jokers who have their own version of the real world, and are ‘up to something’ using this three-dimensional reality sandwich we live in.

.

Hierophant Hierophant is about appearances, about ‘face,’ ‘face values,’ and – just like its meaning – it is a different character depending upon the company it is in. You see the pope doing a routine ritual with his usual helpers. Hierophant is about the distinction between what the ceremony means to the public, and to the theologians. The meanings about appearances rise from this deeper end of its pool of meanings. Looking good, seeming okay. It’s one of the cards that translates ‘good’ in various ways.

.

Normally, Hierophant means ‘normally’ – the usual, the routine, behaving oneself, being respectable and decent, being straight and sober, doing the right thing, ought, should, having good intentions. That stretches to include ‘safe’ and ‘no harm’ or ‘harmless.’ ‘Innocuous’ belong solidly to Hierophant.

.

Naturally, this is the card for church and religion. It makes a marriage card ‘holy matrimony,’ for instance.

.

Hierophant is associated with the word ‘physical,’ as is Page of Wands. Hierophant is about official reality, about certificates and titles and ‘on paper.’ It is one of the Tarot cards that can mean the name of something or someone (rarely – usually that’s Page of Wands). It means ‘committed’ too, which is (I guess) an outgrowth of the ‘official’ meanings. Committed couple is ‘an item.’

Six of Wands Seeing Hierophant in the company of Six of Wands alerts you to not take things at face value, because Six of Wands says: Things are not as they appear. And it’s a card that most readers (my opinion of course) miss its real meaning for what appears to be that. The horse is trying to tell you something!

.

Six of Wands is a false victory. Win the battle, lose the war. That’s what happened to an English king (Richard III, I believe). He won, and chased the invading Arabs into an ambush, and was their captive all his life thereafter.

.

One class of meanings for this complex Tarot card is all about pretense – similar to Two of Cups. (You hate to see Six of Wands and Two of Cups together, because something’s really up.) Here are some today’s Six of Wands words: Playing, pretending, seems, appears, fool yourself, go along with.

.

Six of Wands goes a little darker into deceit with these words sampled from today’s spread: sleazes, up to something, crook, seduce, has an agenda.

.

Six of Wands also looks at the same situation from the victim’s point of view with today’s words: tricked into, is misled.

.

Six of Wands also looks at the same situation as a circumstance rather than from one side or the other’s viewpoint with these phrases: due to circumstances beyond my control, so counterproductive, under the influence, is not in my best interest, unintended consequences, such reservations about.

Magician Magician is one of the cards Tarot could do without, except for its ‘male principle’ status. That’s an esoteric thing, and Rider Waite is a Golden Dawn descendant. Male principle gives Magician its meanings. They are simple, so simple that in spreads Magician often gets lost in the verbs and pronouns other cards make. It mainly means ‘he’ and represents a (or the) guy in your spread’s story (as well as pronouns: I, myself, yourself, him, himself.

.

And Magician mainly means any form of ‘do’ or ‘make,’ as well as ‘to bring about,’ to bring down,’ etc. It also means ‘act,’ action,’ and forms of that word. Magician means willpower, and the will. (Magicians’ definition of magic is ‘will.’)

.

Magician is intentional, voluntary, action. It means to start, to volunteer, ‘voluntarily,’ voluntary, initiate.

.

You see the suits of Tarot on Magician’s table. He raises his right hand to heaven with his wand (will) to bring down what he wills. His left hand grounds the action to earth: He is pointing, see?

Hierophant is the way things are, the official reality, the mainstream world view – the way things are and the way people think. Hierophant represents those four-letter words: should and ought. And here comes Six of Wands to say ‘ Things are not as they appear.’ Magician is a bystander who tosses in male pronouns and action words from the sidelines.

.

The interplay between official reality and jokers who fool with it, and fool with us, is our theater of action. We don’t have a card that represents sane grounded bedrock reality here, but it’s kind of in the air making some distinctions.

.

The upshot of today’s Tarot talk is: In which reality is action happening? – or ‘In which reality are you acting?’

Sometime in your life (more than once), you have called upon yourself – in the presence of two people who each saw you in very different perspectives – to talk and act in such a way each of those people were comfortable. We suggest here that your normal day is like that – that you are one person to one set of folks, and yet another person to a few other sets. We step over these curbs all the time and think nothing of it, but, yes, we are negotiating and juggling several realities here. Think about that and appreciate your skill … and develop it.

Tarot Readings for You for March 18-19, 2017 Weekend©

GUIDANCE        We are looking at what one person does, how it affects any company, family, or other group of people he or she is a member of. One person’s act can disgrace all of us, and one person can step in and do something about whatever we are suffering. In either story, everyone is involved in action about some bad thing. The gist of today’s presentation is to be careful both of what you do and what fellow-travelers do.

.

Ten of Swords – Ten of Swords is one of those Tarot cards that make you look for a rescue card right away. (In Tarot Verbatim™, we call the cards that negate or lesson the bad news of other cards ‘rescue cards’ because they are.) You see a really bad day in this illustration: a prostrate victim who has ten swords stuck through him or her.

.

Naturally, Ten of Swords refers to bad situations and bad feelings, but there are degrees and there are distinctions. It can mean as little as exhaustion, dead drunk or ‘dead to the world,’ disappointment, a mistake, failure, damage, to badly need, to feel terrible about something, depression, a martyr complex, a disgrace, humiliation. Today it even says ‘boo-boo’ for mistake. Ten of Swords is such a dramatic illustration that it will appear once in a while for something blown out of proportion: See the rest of the spread for that. (For instance, with Queen of Swords, which is a woman who isn’t getting what she is entitled to (or is a complainer or nag) it can be the drama queen who suffers to get attention and/or manipulate, for instance.)

.

But yes, this is the card for hideous awful things. Hopeless hurtful things. Divide these into material things in bad shape or disrepair (Like today with Four of Wands, a house in disrepair) and living things involved in a major setback or tragedy.

.

Words today for material things in bad shape or disrepair are: damaged, blighted, that kind of disrepair, messed up, wrecked.

.

Words today for living things involved in a major setback or tragedy are: bad mistake, wrecked, failed, messed up, bad things happen, we badly need, exhaust yourself, in trouble with, disgraceful things, in a tragedy, terribly wrong for him, suffers for it, traumatic, and ‘that awful.’ Ten of Swords is a major card for pain (and not just terrible pain), but we aren’t using that today.

.

Ten of Swords also belongs to the ‘loss’ tribe of meanings in Tarot Verbatim™ so it often translates as: lose, loser, lets (whoever) down, disappoints, and bankrupt. It can say ‘depleted’ in many contexts too.

Magician – Magician is one of those well-defined cards that have few meanings, so they are anchor cards. Today, we neatly use each category in such a way that we define the spread of Magician’s wings. History: As the ‘1,’ Magician means male and active (esoteric stuff from Golden Dawn, the origin of Rider Waite Tarot).

.

So first category of today’s meanings for Magician is: do, does, do something about, he does that, doing for, does it.

.

Second category is ‘he’ because Magician means male. If you ask the gender of an unborn and Magician predominates, it’s male. Here are today’s words for this: he is just the man for, he gets himself, handyman, what he did, this guy, he is a (fill in the blank with another card) man. Notice that Magician represents not just the action but the thing that was done – the task.

.

Third category is the fact that Magician means euphemisms (other words) for getting something done – words like ‘make’ and ‘bring down’ or ‘bring about.’ We use ‘making’ today.

.

Fourth category is the words ‘act’ and ‘action.’ Today’s phrases for that are: acts, action taken, the way he acts, ‘I got that man to,’ acting on behalf, and actions of.

.

Fifth category is to start or initiate. The words for that today are: he starts a new, and starting a. Magician will appear when a man introduces himself, initiating a relationship (of any sort).

Four of Wands – The marriage cards in Tarot Verbatim™ expand to any sort of groups of people of any size, and Four of Wands’ illustration shows a wedding. See, it begins with the couple or marriage, expands to the family, family clan, neighborhood, city county, district, state, nation, world. Four of Wands and Ten of Cups are the ‘positive marriage cards’ and Ten of Pentacles, which visited us yesterday, is the negative one. (Yes, they all mean lots of other unrelated stuff.) Four of Wands also indicates someone is married, and may translate ‘married man’ or married woman’ even without a specific card to represent the gender.

.

Here are the groups of people Four of Wands represents today: Company, family, institution, member, members of a party, governments.

.

Here are the meanings for groups of people: we, us, other people, in front of people, good people, everybody.

.

Four of Wands is also a house, home, or building, including ‘headquarters.’ It will show up as public buildings a lot, like courthouse, hospital, school. It translates ‘the property’ today.

You see Ten of Swords, and your eye goes immediately to its neighbor Tarot cards, hoping for mitigation … because good meanings for Ten of Swords are rare as hens’ teeth, or rare as teats or a boar hog, as they say. I have even seen it mean acupuncture. And it can mean some things that are not-so-bad – things like mistakes, exhaustion, being drunk, damage, failure, pain, disappointment. But this is the card for disaster, tragedy, suffering, hitting bottom, and being laid low.

.

So who do we have modifying this story element?: Four of Wands as a house, home, family, group of people, organization, or marriage; and Magician as the man who does or man who acts, or the action itself.

.

Put these together, and you have stories of what one man does either saving the group he belongs to from a bad thing, or what one man does injuring the group he belongs to. You also have a story of something being done to harm a house or property, or something being done about the harm.

.

So we end up with a caution about actions taken on behalf of whatever group we belong to which could be home, social, business or any other category of life.

People who are in need take action. Other people do things for (to, or about) people who are in need too. A person in a bad situation takes individual action, or others join in. Or one person does something about a group’s problem. It’s simplistic, putting it this way, but our subject today is the effect one person has on a group of people. Tarot Readings for You for February 8, 2017 Wednesday©

Feb 7, 2017 by

GUIDANCE  Here we have a portrait of a man who is intensely in love but doesn’t want to face an official relationship with its expectations for the future and its obligations. Usually the woman in these stories ‘tries to make it work’ and pursues the fellow. The more cool he is, the more drama she creates. This is an actual email reading of a real-life dame who did the opposite. Did the winning strategy of taking a page out of Sir’s book an being even cooler than he, for longer than he can stand.

.

What’s his perspective and attitude toward me and the future of our relationship?

Ten of Pentacles – Seven of Wands – Chariot

The relationship is in trouble; I am forced to take responsibility, take charge.

The relationship is in trouble – Ten of Pentacles

I am forced to (under great pressure to) – Seven of Wands

take responsibility, take charge. – Chariot

Four of Swords – World – Two of Pentacles

Okay, when I ignore her, she ignores me, and that’s the way it goes.

I just didn’t do anything at all – Four of Swords

so she had nothing to do with me either – World

and now it keeps on like that … on and on. – Two of Pentacles

Queen of Cups – Magician – Five of Wands

My woman is a smart lady, she knows I’m a guy and guys initiate action, get vigorously involved.

My Girl is a smart cookie: She knows – Queen of Cups

I’m a guy, and guys initiate action – Magician

and get vigorously involved in the action. – Five of Wands

Temperance – Eight of Pentacles – Five of Swords

I’m outfoxed, I lose the battle: my job is to participate in a dialog, in back-and-forth intimacy.

I’m outfoxed, I lose the battle: – Five of Swords

My job is to be the one to do it – Eight of Pentacles

to participate in dialog, in back-and-forth communication and intimacy. – Temperance

Five of Cups – High Priestess – Nine of Swords

Losing this lady would hurt a lot – I’m worried.

Losing – Five of Cups

this lady – High Priestess

would hurt a lot; I would be ‘up nights crying,’ and I’m worried. – Nine of Swords

And the real-life dame commented on her reading:

And he should be worried. I’ve been dating other men, so I’m never around, and one sent me the hugest bouquet of flowers I’ve ever seen in my life yesterday. I kinda like that.

An email reading like this one is what you get on the ‘Email reading’ navigation tab at the top of this page. It’s $18.75 by PayPal, and you don’t even have to use his, her, or your name, or give any history or personal information. A specific question is all I need to give you an answer like the one you see.  Your question can be about any area of life, not just personal relations, but getting into ‘the other side’s’ head is my specialty.

Tarot Readings for You for January 23-24, 2017 Monday-Tuesday©

Jan 22, 2017 by

GUIDANCE                 When I started it was like a hobby. The longer I go the farther it gets. The more I take on, the more involved it gets. Even with help, this will take forever. What I’m doing here is really deep and intense. Someone wiser than me, who knows about this, is watching me do it the hard way. I just know that.

.

.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!

People love this place! Our site is divided into three sections: Guidance; Group Tarot Cards Readings; Learn Tarot by Observing and Learn Tarot by Pictures.

So what do you want to do? –

Did you come here for YOUR PREDICTIONS? – daily trends? –

*Then you read the summary above, titled GUIDANCE,

*Then you read the one-sentence readings below titled GROUP TAROT CARDS READING –and you’re done: See you tomorrow. Invite your friends. At the very bottom are comments. New! – the black boxes to the right as you scroll down allow you to comment right there.

GROUP TAROT CARDS READING is the actual word-for-word messages from the pictures of the three cards you see – to everyone. These readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

….……. ………………. ...

Magician – Ten of Wands – Hermit

.

GROUP TAROT CARDS READING

Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.

.

Tarot Readings: Magician and Ten of Wands

… .. …..

He is very sincere.

You do things slowly, with assistance.

Person who knows is watching you do it the hard way.

Look at all the things you have done! .

It takes me so long to get started: I am taking a good look at this.

It takes him a while to be realistic.

You are doing too much, and that’s the truth.

Started a project that takes forever to do, even with help from friends.

.

Tarot Readings:  Magician and Hermit

… .. … ..

Does so much for a friend.

Volunteer to help and get depressed.

Starting a path that takes a long time – ’til I’m old.

Analyze what you are doing – in depth, painstakingly.

Take your time analyzing how you’re going to do something.

You know what you’re doing when you have been at it as long as I have.

Looking for what to do when you’re overweight.

Getting yourself sober one slow step at a time.

.

Tarot Readings: Ten of Wands and Hermit

. ………n

Watching yourself doing something difficult.

I’m old, I’m slow, but I create.

Finally see things as they are and do something about it.

He always comes to you – it’s his initiative.

Hindsight on a lot of things I have done makes me wise.

I get sick of being the observer of the action.

It’s been a long time since I was this factual with a man.

Here comes a friend to do for you when you are overwhelmed.

Looking at taking the whole project on your own shoulders so it will get done.

… .. ….. ………

.

Now, Part Two,

Did you come here to ACCESS YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS? –

*Then you read HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS – resonates with your subconscious awareness! – and you’re done.

Did you come here to RESEARCH CARD MEANINGS? –

*Then you go to LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING and LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES for single card meanings and for what those cards say today as they get along with their companion cards, which is important for Tarot Verbatim™, whose expertise is combinations of Tarot cards’ meanings.

*Then you go to Now we show where each of the phrases in each of the sentences comes fromfor phrases individual cards make in the day’s sentences. This applies the knowledge.

*Then you read HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS – resonates with your subconscious awareness! for language created by each pair of Rider Waite Tarot cards, in Tarot Verbatim™. Now you are done, if you chose to do it all. Comments are at the very bottom.

Did you come for combined meanings of other cards than these?

*Then you can put names of any two cards into Google, and get their combined meanings. You can also write in one card followed by ‘Tarot Verbatim,’ and get paragraphs of meanings for it.

.

.

.

LEARN SINGLE TAROT CARDS BY PICTURES.

GET A SINGLE CARD’S MEANINGS: TYPE ITS NAME AND ‘TAROT VERBATIM’ INTO GOOGLE

Magician – Magician as ‘the male principle’ is about action and being male, so you know most of its meanings with that in mind. And form of the verbs ‘do,’ ‘make,’ ‘create,’ or phrases that mean the same thing, such as ‘bring about’ or ‘bring down’ belong to Magician. Magician also owns a lot of pronouns – any form of male pronouns, including possessive ones (‘his,’ today), and any form of first person pronouns including possessive ones (I, myself) belong to Magician.

.

Magician also (as the 1) starts. Starts things, initiates, volunteers.

.

Magician can translate the ‘he does’ type combination of pronoun plus verb, or Magician can translate either the pronoun or the very. So it means ‘he’ and ‘does’ and ‘he does.’

.

Ten of Wands – You know how sometimes you decide you’re going to ‘save a trip,’ and you ‘do it all in one load,’ whatever it is. That is what we see here: overloaded but slow progress gets him where he is going and gets it done finally.

This concept brings up several categories of meanings that all pretty much mean the same thing.

.

Ten of Wands can simply mean ‘very’ or ‘always,’ in a very general way. Keep that in mind.

.

First you have the meanings about ‘slow.’ Slow progress, takes forever, is dragged out, one step at a time.

.

Then you have meanings about it being difficult or hard, which will bring up odd words like today’s ‘painstaking.’

.

Then you have ‘a long time,’ which Ten of Wands often means (obviously). Today we have ‘It’s been a long time since’ and ‘when you have been at it as long as I have,’ not to mention ‘Take your time.’

.

Then you have words like ‘extremely,’ too much, ‘overwhelmed,’ and ‘the whole thing.’ ‘Taking the whole project upon your own shoulders.’ ‘Too much’ can describe too much of anything, like being overweight yourself, or your baggage being hefty.

.

Lastly for today, Ten of Wands is about depression, sadness, and being ‘sick and tired.’ These meanings come from the fact our man is overloaded, moving slowly.

Hermit – Every little element of this illustration makes words and phrases. You see a service monk, and old man, who is out at night in the snow in mountains with a light, looking for travelers to take them to his home for a warm meal, comfy bed, and friendly conversation. He is a devoted friend to others, and he comes to them: he helps. He is looking, watching – and observing. This traveling plus observation brings Hermit its investigation and surveillance meanings.

.

Hermit is an old or older person, particularly of course an old man. He is religious of course too. Hermit is virtuous, particularly sincere, celibate (monogamous, these days, is often the actual word), sober.

.

Hermit is wise. Hermit is learned. He is actually a doctor (by what he is wearing), and will appear as a counselor in your spreads. Hermit is associated with truth, knowing, being factual and realistic, as well as for analyzing. This Hermit card will translate ‘He knows,’ just as Magician will translate ‘He does.’

.

Remember that Hermit goes to the other person and is devoted. Hermit can mean, in a spread, that the other person will come to you. Hermit can also say a friend is doing you (or the other person) a favor. (Of course, Hermit could represent you doing someone the favor too.)

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

                      LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES..

. ….. …..

.

Magician, of course, is any kind of doing and any kind of male pronoun, even possessive ones.

.

Ten of Wands is a long time, slow progress and slow anything, too much of anything, difficult and strenuous, and keeping at it anyway – in for the long haul type thing. Ten of Wands, as too much, can also represent the extreme of anything and the suffixes that mean ‘the most.’

.

Hermit knows, Hermit sees, Hermit helps and is a friend … so a friend who comes to the aid. Hermit is old or older, as a person. We don’t use his being outdoors looking for something or searching today, but he is on the path today.

.

These three cards are very rich in common phrases and clichés, which are good to know when you are reading Tarot, or learning to. So here those are in the next paragraphs.

.

Magician and Ten of Wands:

Do it the hard way.

Do slowly.

too much to do, or doing too much.

Do it all. Take it upon yourself to do.

Start, and keep at it forever.

Takes so long to get started.

AND NOW WITHOUT THE PICTURES:

.…. ………………. ….………..

When you know everything about it, it takes longer because you are thorough. Sometimes doing it the hard way – the long slow step-by-step way – is a shortcut in the long run. I am doing something about always taking everything so darn seriously, and that’s one thing that’s going to take me a while, but I will get there – just you watch!

Just the way he talks makes me uncomfortable.

Multitasking gets on my nerves.

Things I do give people the willies.

He accuses you of things he himself is doing.

Everything he does is annoying.

So many things to do – haunted by it all.

A to-do list is daunting.

Nine of Wands You have a bandaged head to show for their last visit, and here you are standing up to their next, holding your ground. Under pressure and apprehensive (fearful), sweating it out, or at least very uncomfortable, you draw a line in the sand and you guard that line.

.

Or maybe you give people the willies, get on their last nerve, so they put you on the spot because you make them defensive because, well, they are guilty, they deserve to suffer, and you are the one pointing the finger of accusation. Nine of Wands is also about being put on the spot.

.

There’s an issue here. Or are you just haunted by a past encounter? Is this about headaches? Are you inhabiting a daunting environment? You are under pressure of what? – accusation? – someone who’s annoying as hell? – or is it just that ‘something’s out there’ or ‘something’s up’ feeling we get from time to time?

.

So here you have tension of some sort if the subject of the Tarot reading is social. Most often, Nine of Wands is worry, fear, tension, nervous, defensiveness, being haunted by, tensing up, or under pressure.

.

Don’t forget that Nine of Wands can refer to a literal head wound, or to headaches, or any ailment of the head that is physical.

Magician Male gender and action. That’s Magician in a nutshell. On the one side, put all the male pronouns and all the first person pronouns (including possessive ones). Don’t forget the ‘myself’ and the ‘himself’ ones. On the other column put every form of action words you can think – do, make, act – as well as phrases like ‘bring about’ and ‘bring down.’

.

Because Magician is the start of something. Magician is initiative. Magician is the startup and the introduction.

.

That’s because as the ‘1’ of the Major Arcanae, Magician is the male principle, and the male principle is action as distinguished from thinking and being. This card sticks very closely to those meanings, more than the other first-line Major Arcanae do.

.

Eight of WandsLike the arrows from the famous archers of the English armies the wands fly through the air. Fast movement, repetitive movement (which Eight of Pentacles also means), numbers of items (plurals): The picture tells you these things easily. You can see the list there too.

.

But Eight of Wands is the number one speak/tell/say Tarot card, at least in the Tarot Verbatim™ system. It just is. Any kind of communication at all, including texting, documents, books, telepathy … anything.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

                    LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES..

. ….. …..

Here in the middle, our Magician self is set to act. To the left is hesitation to do that (under pressure?); to the right is all of it and right now. Factors to taking action are many, and some are adverse factors. It is these adverse factors that will make our story because Magician simply means the ‘he’ and the ‘do’ and Eight of Wands simply means plural things, continual, and talking about it. So the story line to our reading is going to be the story of the border guard here. That’s the lay of the Tarot land.

.

And the story of the wounded vet here is standing your ground despite those adverse factors. That applies in any way you can apply it, all the way from taking an unpopular stand, to being accused of anything at all (or feeling accused), to a situation that makes you uncomfortable, to being annoyed, to being under pressure (here, under pressure to do something, maybe to do it quickly), to defending anything (from your lipstick color to your country), to being afraid (of anything or nothing), to your head hurting (or anyone’s), to sweating it out because it gets on your last nerve. At least, those are the stories we look at today; I’m sure there are some more.

.

As to advice, look carefully, because this message can say ‘Do it all now no matter how it makes them feel’ and ‘All the reasons to be afraid to do this.’ Magician and Eight of Wands are a strong message to act now and to do it all. Nine of Wands is a little more likely to just be nervous about it in this three-card spread here. But the story goes all sorts of ways, and the message depends upon the question … which we don’t have one to go by here.

.

This spread is yet another example of: The question is a large part of an accurate reading.

…… ………………. ….………..

What if. ‘What if’ is the opposite of ‘Just do it.’ And both ‘what if’ and ‘just do it’ live at the base of our heart and brain. The heart and the brain get together and decide whether to jump off the high dive, wait, or not jump. Some of us are jumpers and some of us hang back and check out the lay of the land because if ‘doing it’ involves moving a mountain, we won’t have time for another project. We are standing on the diving board, bouncing a little, pondering the pool below.
