Tarot Readings for You for August 7-8, 2017 Monday-Tuesday©

Aug 6, 2017 by

We have a general question here. Client wants to know whether she will get where she wants to be in her career. The general answer to the general question is pretty on point, and Client comments on its specifics.

You can have this style reading for yourself by clicking on the Email Reading Navigation tab up there. And you can always research meanings of single or pairs of Rider Waite Tarot cards by typing their names into Google, adding the name of this site if you want to limit the search to that.

By the way, today, the techs say, starts the Tarot Email Training lessons. They didn’t finish on Friday, so they will do their end of the final touches on Monday – today – hopefully.

Email Reading

The category of life is:: Business

My question is:: Will I be successful in achieving the specialist role I want?

Hi,

And thank you for asking me. You do not state a time frame, so it’s like within the time you would expect this to happen.

.

The card I look for about a woman in a niche or specialty is Nine of Pentacles, and she shows up just in time here. That makes the perfect answer, so there are no more cards on this subject after that.

.

King of Wands – Ten of Pentacles – Emperor

There’s a difficulty or complication in this field for you, and it’s a man who is already an authority, and an edgy man who antagonizes. The two men cards here could be saying: ‘It’s a field crowded with men.’ (Ten of Pentacles is ‘field’ here.)

This field is crowded, so that’s a problem – Ten of Pentacles

and there’s an established man at the top – Emperor

and a hothead or pushy or edgy fellow too. – King of Wands

.

.

Two of Wands – Judgment – Four of Cups

Yes, for sure you will be in a position of power here, but not right away.

Your future is assured, as is financial security here – Two of Wands

but it isn’t coming to you – Four of Cups

instantly or overnight. – Judgment

.

.

Nine of Pentacles – Temperance – Three of Cups

You are interacting with people one-on-one in your specialty, happy in the good life.

Here you are in your specialty – Nine of Pentacles

dealing directly one-on-one in it, – Temperance

celebrating having a good life with like-minded people. – Three of Cups

.

[A side note is that in the beginning it’s a field crowded with men (if I read that right) and you end up having a great time in it with women, Three of Cups. These side messages do not always apply. It’s also possible that the two men in the first spread are referring to one snarly dude who’s Da Boss.]

This reading is a good example of looking for a key card to deliver a sure answer. Nine of Pentacles. If you give me permission, I might use this in a blog post on our site. Right now, I’m making up for putting so many email readings on the site by reverting to the 3-card analytical spreads. They take a lot longer; the email posts buy me time. (I work all the time, and love doing it.)

Emily

Client’s comments:

.

Thanks Emily

The male dominance is not not necessarily correct but the personalities of the people at the top do match the cards. Interestingly the comment you made at the end where I end up “having a great time with women” is spot on, the job is specifically working with women clients.

.

Feel free to use any of the reading in your blogs.

.

By the way in my head the time frame was by the end of the year however I didn’t state that in the question.

.

Emily’s Response to Client:

.
Thank you.

As I said, the side messages (ones that are not part of the direct answer to the question, but have something on their own to say) are not always factual.

The time frame you had in mind is what the cards address; it doesn’t have to be stated:  Tarot is talking to you through me as an interpreter.

Ya never know about male dominance these days:  Those bulls have been trained by political correctness to play nice.

Tarot Readings for You for April 13-14, 2017 Thursday-Friday©

Apr 12, 2017 by

Here is another Email Reading. It’s from a past format. This one is a good example of why it is a good idea to say – in a romantic question – whether you and/or the other party are married. It shows how I can answer without that specification, and be right, though.

Question:  Hi Emily. Please can you have a look at my love life. I have been seeing someone for a while but it is complicated. Please can you see how he feels about me and if we have a future together. Many thanks

I am going to have to answer in the alternative. We have a marriage theme. If you are married or he is married, not to one another, these cards could apply differently.

Question: How does he feel about you?

Lovers

Nine of Pentacles – Four of Wands – Three of Cups

Nine of Pentacles: He sees you as someone who can take care of herself, who minds her own business, who can do just fine without him as a single woman.

Lovers: and you two are a pair, are lovers, are partners, are together.

Four of Wands: You are a couple, you are together, you are family – and this is the main marriage card. Illustration shows a wedding.

Three of Cups: Once again, you are happy together, you are sharing one another’s lives and enjoying it.

Three out of four cards mean together, and together in a good, happy sharing family way. The other card describes the way he sees you: independent, the opposite of clingy.

(A fellow who values a Nine of Pentacles woman, who is married, usually has a clingy and/or bossy wife. A live-in will show up as a marriage in Tarot, and so sometimes will the mother of the fellow’s child.)

.

.

.

Four of Swords

King of Wands – Seven of Cups – Hanged Man

King of Wands: The passionate man, your man, the practical hands-on working man, the angry or frustrated man, fellow with a temper … and the husband. He is your man, he feels a family bond, a marriage bond with you.

Seven of Cups: Things are messed up*

Hanged Man: and he feels strongly

Four of Swords: that they are going to stay that way, and ‘There’s nothing I can do about this,’ (which is often a cop out. I call it ‘can’t-itis. Especially true of menfolk: It they dread doing something, or if they simply don’t want to do something, they say (and may believe) that they can’t. Very common.)

*messed up – This is your ‘Things are complicated.’

As I said, we have a marriage theme, all three of our spreads. This one looks very much like he is married to someone else. If that isn’t the case, let me know, and I will apply that – or ask another question.

.

.

.

.

Question: ” … and if we have a future together.”  This is vague, so I will assume you mean:  Are you and the dude going to be a couple who love one another out in public, with a good future together?   Maybe you even mean get married or live together.

.

Three of Pentacles

Queen of Cups – Justice – Eight of Swords

Eight of Swords: Another card that means ‘can’t.’ Unable, hands are tied.

Queen of Cups and Justice:   These taken together can mean legal wife: The woman who loves, admires and understands him, the loyal wife, the good woman, Queen of Cups, and Justice is commitment, suggests marriage especially if there is a theme … which there is, here. These two cards together also say ‘Her idea she will be married/committed to this man.’ – because Queen of Cups also means her thought, her idea, woman is thinking.

Three of Pentacles: A relationship in which each person does her/her part, an agreement or ‘by agreement,’ and also means meeting together in person.

So this says you two have a relationship that both parties engage in but it isn’t going to be the way you are thinking … ‘which is marriage’ or ‘because of a marriage.’

Feedback from client:

Hi Emily, Many thanks for your answer, you are right in your assumptions.
