Tarot Readings for You for June 28, 2017 Wednesday©

Jun 27, 2017 by

Our Friend asks about a lateral move in the Company she is already established in.  How simple is THAT?  But no, my spread was not just negative but rabidly so.  I report this to her, and wait a few days, asking again.  Around the seventh attempt, I get what you read here.  It is specific; it relates to work, in the first spread, with Eight of Pentacles.

.

She is willing to share this report with you.

And you can go right up here on the Email Reading tab and try your hand at a question you are wondering about – for you or for another person.  Don’t be shy.

.

Email Reading

The category of life is:: Business

My question is:: Hi Emily, I am being recruited for a lateral career move that looks to promise long term growth opportunities down the road. Is this the right career move for me?

[Emily reports to Client that, over and over, terrible cards come up repeatedly, like an anxiety spread – that Emily will keep trying to get to the bottom of this.]

.

.

Six of Swords – Two of Cups – Eight of Pentacles

There’s some interference that isn’t apparent now to your leaving the job you have now for something that will be better.

Interference that isn’t apparent now – Two of Cups

to you leaving where you are now – Six of Swords

on your job. – Eight of Pentacles

.

.

Tower – Three of Swords – Three of Cups

A crisis and someone is fired or quits – and you have something to celebrate with your people.

A crisis – Tower

and someone quits or is fired – Three of Swords

and you and yours celebrate. – Three of Cups

and/or

Clashes of hostility but you’re getting along famously with everybody.

but you get along fine with people. – Three of Cups

.

.

Ten of Pentacles – Death – Seven of Wands

Things get dysfunctional in this environment, but you’re no hellraiser.

A dysfunctional culture in the company – Ten of Pentacles

but you are not – Death

a hellraiser. – Seven of Wands

and/or

Don’t let the people who don’t get along get to you.

Don’t let – Death

the dysfunctional faction – Ten of Pentacles

interfere with you. – Seven of Wands

.

.

Queen of Swords – Seven of Cups – Four of Pentacles

Don’t let yourself be the victim when things get out of control.

.

.

Ace of Wands – Five of Swords – Six of Cups

A pushy person with a bad attitude – Five of Swords

sees you as a nice civilized warm person – Six of Cups

that this person can dominate, be rude to, and push around. – Ace of Wands

.

.

[I see ‘take candy from a baby’ in Five of Swords, the thief and bully, and Six of Cups, the sweet kid.]

Emily Comments:

I have avoided calling this pushy person or bully ‘he’ because Five of Swords describes an activity; it isn’t a people-card per se. Because Rider Waite Tarot is a ‘female chauvinist sow,’ there are few female person-cards (court cards) that describe negative-type personalities – and there are plenty of male ones. So when Tarot says someone is a bad-guy in a card that depicts activity, it could be referring to a bad-girl.

Note that you are pictured as not fitting in with an adverse or even hostile work culture, and that you are pictured as being prosperous there (Empress, Three of Cups).

.

If you are considering this move, questions you might want to ask are ‘Describe the person who is the main obstacle, and the situation’ and ‘Would I be better off overall (satisfaction and money) if I didn’t go there?’

.

And if you wanted to investigate these questions, a telephone reading would give more details and would likely be cheaper in the long run. (An email reading = five minutes of a phone reading.)

Tarot Readings for You for April 15-16, 2017 Saturday-Sunday©

Apr 14, 2017 by

This is an email reading of a person who gives me permission to share it here. It is fine general advice, and I think you will enjoy it.

.

[from the email form]

My question is: If I can’t be in a relationship with a little (ahem) responsible adult fooling around soon, then I think I may go crazy. How can I encourage a relationship of this sort with a gentleman?

.

Question: How can I encourage a relationship of this sort with a gentleman?

.

Queen of Swords – Four of Pentacles – Ace of Cups

“I am not in need of love.”

I am _ in need – Queen of Swords

not much – Four of Pentacles

of love. – Ace of Cups

.

Hermit – Queen of Cups – Four of Wands

I know I am family with a fine man who takes care of me.

I know a fine man – Queen of Cups

am family with – Four of Wands

a man who is devoted to me, takes care of me. – Hermit

.

Three of Pentacles – High Priestess – Two of Wands

I’m a lady who will always be in a mutually supportive relationship.

I’m a lady who – High Priestess*

will always be – Two of Wands

in a mutually supportive relationship. – Three of Pentacles

*High Priestess, as a lady, does not do; she is the passive party. She doesn’t call you, you call her.

.

Star – Knight of Swords – Five of Wands

I feel so good, I am so gorgeous you hurry up and join the competition.

I feel so good, I am so gorgeous – Star

you (guy) turn around and go after me in a hurry – Knight of Swords

because there’s such competition. – Five of Wands

.

Four of Cups – Magician – Page of Wands

Hey, handsome guy: I don’t take initiative.

Hey, handsome guy – you talk to me: – Page of Wands

because I do not – Four of Cups

take initiative/make the first move. – Magician

.

Two of Cups – Emperor – Two of Wands

Thus you will always have grownup (mature) men seducing you.

Thus you will always have – Two of Wands

a grownup secure man – Emperor

seducing you/interested in you. – Two of Cups

Here’s what your reading calls to mind:

A fellow who was the town lothario (and all the girls chased him shamelessly) who was chasing me talked about: The most attractive thing, to men, about a female was ‘the well-fucked look.’ He described the look … huh? So he pointed out the look on a gal who was engaged to get married. I got it. She had a glow, she was totally calm and safunsified.

Since guys pick up (at least subconsciously) on the look, it figures that a guy would want to be with such a gal.

Tarot is suggesting that you look like you already have a great love thing going, and it will attract a fellow or fellows to be that successful with a woman. That’s your challenge! Since you got this advice, and only this, I suspect a susceptible fellow is nearby, sniffing the ground.

Emily to Client:  Since this is good general advice, if you’re comfortable with it, I am thinking about using it for a blog post.  Sometimes I put someone’s email reading up.  Stripped of all ID, of course.  It’s up to younot twisting your arm. – Emily

Client’s Feedback:

Please feel free to use my reading on the blog. It is good general advice and makes me laugh even to re-read it. I do have 2 or 3 likely candidates – I think – but was starting to second guess myself and needed some encouragement to just sit on my hands a bit longer with a serene high priestess smile on my face. This reading made me think about the principle that like attracts like and also the idea that men love the feeling that they have won the grand prize. So best to let them have the pleasure of doing the work to get there.

Tarot Readings for You for March 12, 2015 Thursday©

Mar 11, 2015 by

GUIDANCE    You find yourself considered a victim by the people around you and you are stepping out of that assigned role. ‘No, I’m not in bad health because I’m older than you’; and ‘Yeah I’m short of money and sacrificing – but so what?’ and ‘We feel she needs some encouraging words but she is toughing it out.’ Conversely, you are a victim of an insufferable nag and don’t wanna talk about it. The victim role is our inquiry today. Stories is what we have, stories about being considered a victim and not accepting the label, for several different reasons in several different situations.

.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!

People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.
If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ (above) is a summary of what the cards are telling visitors to be aware of this day.

‘Group Tarot Cards Reading’ (just below this) is the actual word-for-word messages from the pictures of the three cards you see – to everyone. These readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.

Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow. The family of commenters here would love for you to join in (the very last thing, at the bottom).

Headings [So you can choose which belongs to you]

Tarot Readings: I Am Happier Than I Can Say (Star and Four of Pentacles)

Tarot Readings: Needs Some Loving Words (Queen of Swords and Star)

Tarot Readings: Quietly Doing Without (Queen of Swords and Four of Pentacles)

Tarot Readings: My Performance Isn’t Good Enough (Star and Four of Pentacles)

.

Tarot Readings: I Am Happier Than I Can Say (Star and Four of Pentacles)

I don’t let on how vibrantly healthy I am for someone my age.

I don’t feel like the victim, and I tell them to cheer up.

Doing without, I have nothing to complain about.

…..…..

Tarot Readings: Needs Some Loving Words (Queen of Swords and Star)

Just one little precious word from someone I miss ….

Someone who says ‘I love you’ makes up for whatever is missing.

Doesn’t admit how crazy he is about older women.

He is so not up to her standards, but how she loves him.

Hold the criticism and pour on the encouragement.

Deep down, we feel she needs some good words.

…..…..

Tarot Readings: Quietly Doing Without (Queen of Swords and Four of Pentacles)

A widow misses the hugs and the ‘I love yous.’

She doesn’t talk about how she has suffered.

Mama quietly did without to make us happy.

She isn’t getting the happiness she is entitled to.

She is deprived, and doing without, but she is so upbeat.

We don’t express ourselves exuberantly around the victim.

…..…..

Tarot Readings: My Performance Isn’t Good Enough (Star and Four of Pentacles)

The bitch tells me how inferior I am.

I don’t say ‘I love you’ because of her attitude.

She will correct what you say, so don’t say much.

She is sternly critical and doesn’t offer much encouragement.

Mama’s on the warpath and she’s not talking to me.

A militant spirit like hers needs no encouragement.

Oh how she nags me when I sulk!

I don’t say anything when she nags.

Either she talks too much or I don’t listen enough.

My performance was lacking – not up to her expectation.

Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined meanings of the three cards in the pictures in the Tarot Readings.  It explains how these cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS is a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – than a personal reading would give you. Also, pronouns are flexible: If the sentence feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ but you’re a ‘she,’ well, it’s yours.

*AND if you write names of any two cards into the Google search bar, it will give you meanings of those!

.

.……………….………..………..

Queen of Swords – Star – Four of Pentacles

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

………………………     Queen of Swords and Four of Pentacles  are both doing without, and smack in the middle of them is Star – exuberant enthusiastic happiness and upbeat expressions. (Star can mean a performance, and also can simply mean talk, though.) We examine attitudes toward finding oneself labeled a victim and not being comfortable with that. We even witness such a person being upbeat and experiencing and openly expressing joy.

………………………..    Queen of Swords is the widow, the woman who is sacrificing, or has sacrificed. She can be the martyr complex, the whiner, the bitter bitch, or she can be the long-suffering character-ridden woman of steel. Her claim to fame is holding people up to her high standards. Shades of the Iron Maiden stereotype too. But remember, she can simply be an older woman, and this is the only card in the deck that all by itself means specifically that. Complex card, Queen of Swords – one I could write a book upon. Note that this is one of those cards that just doesn’t cross gender lines. Even when the meaning being used isn’t a person, but a trait, still, it will refer to a woman – widow, mama-bat, whining wench, the nag – all female stereotypes. See the child bas-relief upon her seat there? – Queen of Swords is a woman whose child has died. These days children don’t die as commonly, so she comes up as a widow.

………………………..    Star is feeling good all over, deliciously happy, and Star is telling all about it. Star can be confessing to a crime, saying ‘I love you’ or tattling – or making a speech, or singing. Star is also someone who will not shut up. Today it is bringing up the complaint mode of Queen of Swords, and contradicting Four of Pentacles close-mouthed policy. Star and Four of Pentacles say ‘not talking about it, keeping it to myself.’ In the illustration, Star is performing a ritual bath (ablution – quite a few religions practice this because you feel so good after-bath). So I think of Star as the feeling you get when you are singing in the shower. That works. By the way, you are in the best of health when you are Star.

………………………..     Four of Pentacles next to Star is a hug next to ‘I love you’ and also says ‘not talking.’ (Four of Pentacles is hunkered down, stymied and stifled: That’s the ‘not talking.’ Four of Pentacles today is doing without (because he is hanging onto his money for dear life), because of the influence of Queen of Swords who is deprived of something she is entitled to (or feels that way). Four of Pentacles is also being quiet, and deep feelings, as Star means heartfelt emotion. Queen of Swords is nagging and Star is talking up a storm. Four of Pentacles and Star contradict one another – the blabbermouth and the quiet-mouthed. Four of Pentacles means ‘to be short of,’ which expands to being, or feeling, inferior, but applies strongly to being short of money, budgeting, and that sort of thing. That’s where we get ‘mama did without,’ but we don’t go any further than that in this presentation. The ‘being or feeling inferior’ docks upon Queen of Swords critical attitude that someone or something isn’t up to her standards. (Namely the performance – Star’s word – isn’t up to her standards, for one thing.) So today Four of Pentacles sits at the heart of a lot of overlapping meanings. It’s easy to know what they are saying, but challenging to separate it all out – sometimes, today, it ain’t happening.

This particular spread is one of the best examples of how two cards can mean what the whole sentence means. It happens a lot here because Queen of Swords and Four of Pentacles both are lacking, and ‘short of.’ Also nagging (Queen of Swords) involves talking, and we have Star meaning happy combining with Four of Pentacles to lesson or cancel out the meaning, and there’s Queen of Swords who lacks happiness all by herself. This spread is a good study for that if you choose to indulge.

Now we show where each of the phrases in each of the sentences comes from:

Tarot Readings: I Am Happier Than I Can Say (Star and Four of Pentacles)

I don’t let on Four of Pentacles how vibrantly healthy I am Star for someone my age Queen of Swords.

I don’t feel like Four of Pentacles the victim Queen of Swords, and I tell them to cheer up Star.

Doing without Four of Pentacles, I have nothing to complain about Star – Queen of Swords.

…..…..

Tarot Readings: Needs Some Loving Words (Queen of Swords and Star)

Just one little precious Four of Pentacles word Star from someone I miss Queen of Swords ….

Someone who says ‘I love you’ Star makes up Four of Pentacles for whatever is missing Queen of Swords.

Doesn’t admit Four of Pentacles how crazy he is about Star older women Queen of Swords.

He is so not up to Four of Pentacles her standards Queen of Swords, but how she loves him Star.

Hold Four of Pentacles the criticism Queen of Swords and pour on the encouragement Star.

Deep down Four of Pentacles, we feel Four of Pentacles she needs Queen of Swords some good words Star.

…..…..

Tarot Readings: Quietly Doing Without (Queen of Swords and Four of Pentacles)

A widow Queen of Swords misses Queen of Swords the hugs Four of Pentacles and the ‘I love yous Star.’

She doesn’t talk Star about Four of Pentacles how she has suffered Queen of Swords.

Mama Queen of Swords quietly did without Four of Pentacles – Queen of Swords to make us happy Star.

She isn’t getting Four of Pentacles the happiness Star she is entitled to Queen of Swords.

She is deprived Queen of Swords, and doing without Four of Pentacles, but she is so upbeat Star.

We don’t express ourselves Star – Four of Pentacles exuberantly Star around the victim Queen of Swords.

…..…..

Tarot Readings: My Performance Isn’t Good Enough (Star and Four of Pentacles)

The bitch Queen of Swords tells me Star how inferior I am Four of Pentacles.

I don’t say Four of Pentacles ‘I love you’ Star because of her attitude Queen of Swords.

She will correct Queen of Swords what you say Star, so don’t say much Four of Pentacles.

She is sternly critical Queen of Swords and doesn’t offer much Four of Pentacles encouragement Star.

Mama’s Queen of Swords on the warpath Queen of Swords and she’s not Four of Pentacles talking Star to me.

A militant spirit like hers Queen of Swords needs no Four of Pentacles encouragement Star.

Oh how she nags me Queen of Swords – Star when I sulk Four of Pentacles!

I don’t say anything Four of Pentacles – Star when she nags Queen of Swords.

Either she Queen of Swords talks too much Star or I don’t listen enough Four of Pentacles.

My performance Star was lacking Four of Pentacles – not up to her expectation

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Queen of Swords……….. Queen of Swords is one of those complex cards, all of whose meanings in Tarot Verbatim™ it will take you a while to apply comfortably. And, by the way, this is one of the cards Tarot Verbatim™ has a whole different perspective on than the standard view, much like Death and Two of Cups and Six of Wands. Tarot Verbatim’s™ meanings are ‘from the field,’ are not private opinions. (That is how the system works.) Queen of Swords’ illustration indicates she is mourning a dead child, which morphs into being a widow in modern times. She can be a victim, a bitter woman, a whining nag, or a woman whose stern character intimidates mere mortals. ‘Militant’ is one of her words – King of Swords’ too, as a matter of fact. So she can be a female soldier.

.

Star…………. Star is a babe – a voluptuous and maybe zoftig nude here who is singing as she pours two pitchers into an outdoor pond. Since she is performing a ritual bath (ablution, sometimes a religious rite) and singing, besides meaning feeling good all over and singing in the shower, she means performance, singing, and a gorgeous woman. Today, she is about saying ‘I love you’ and words of encouragement.

.

Four of Pentacles   …………. Four of Pentacles has a stack of meanings that takes a lot of getting used to, but today we are let off easy. Today, Four of Pentacles is about not talking or not admitting, deep feelings, doing without, lacking, being or feeling inferior, sulking, a hug, holding, and ‘precious.’ The illustration shows a fellow who is hugging himself and his money as he sits in the middle of the road far from a town. Four of Pentacles is constrained in his present Tarot company, a mere shadow of his sad stifled self.

Tarot Readings for you for October 3, 2014 Friday©

GUIDANCE          One disgruntled apple spoils the whole happy barrel. Doesn’t matter whether that person is self-sacrificing, or is justified in the disgruntled position, the barrel still spoils. Demanding what you are entitled to (even respect) when you have been self-sacrificing for the sake of others’ happiness labels you as the nag (Mama-bat). So consider self-sacrifice a vice, and share from the beginning in the benefits of membership of the clan so you will be respected as an equal. We talk about being happy when you are broke, being happy when you are old, being happy being short-changed, being happy not being happily married … just being happy in private for no good reason at all.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined three pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these three cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS is a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the three cards, by itself, has to say.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

Queen of Swords – Four of Pentacles – Ten of Cups

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

……………….……………………         The first thing you see here is Mama, the family, and the budget or being short of money. You also see the nagging woman, feeling inferior or stifling oneself, and the family. There’s a theme of not having enough and doing without, and there’s happiness. Stories, we got ’em today.

………………………..      Queen of Swords in Tarot Verbatim™ is reliably the bitch card, and is also the self-sacrificing female of the family, the demanding woman or nag, the woman who holds others up to standards they are not meeting, the woman of strong character, the assertive woman, the militant or stern woman, the Ex … and you can immediately see how these are in the same basket. Queen of Swords is also the widow, and a woman who mourns a dead baby. In her illustration, she has that sword held upright and the other hand outstretched like ‘Now would be good.’ She has that stern put-up face of someone who is feeling martyred. On her chair is a baby’s face.

………………………..           Four of Pentacles      His illustration covers quite a few otherwise-unrelated categories. Today we are using the ‘doing without’ and the ‘short of money’ ones, mentioning stifling oneself, keeping secrets, and ‘excluded’ categories. ‘Don’t let myself,’ ‘everybody but me,’ ‘in no shape to,’ ‘get the feeling,’ and ‘damper’ are phrases you might not anticipate from these categories. He sits outside of town, clutching his coins, staring straight ahead, all alone in the street.

………………………..      Ten of Cups      One big happy family, it says. We are united, we are together, we are the good and prosperous ones, the respectable people. This is the family most families project themselves as being, believing other families’ projection and keeping up with it. It most often translates ‘happy,’ as it does today, and ‘everyone.’ It can be any group at all, of any size, anyhow.

……….…………..      Queen of Swords and Four of Pentacles   Queen of Swords and Four of Pentacles There’s an interesting interplay here, in that these two Tarot cards mean both that people are not living up to what she expects of them, and that people do not want to associate with, or talk to, her. She is also dissatisfied or disgruntled with her own inferior status. Queen of Swords and Four of Pentacles also say ‘I won’t let myself complain,’ ‘Long for a hug’ and ‘She keeps the secret.’ You can see how the illustration of Four of Pentacles produces disparate phrases when combined with a given card. (Its full definitions are listed at the end of this article, as usual.)

………..…………..    Queen of Swords and Ten of Cups    Queen of Swords and Ten of Cups Queen of Swords says ‘She wants’ as well as ‘She wants and isn’t getting.’ So here Queen of Swords wants everyone to be happy. It’s also everyone being happy to live with her. ‘I don’t have the house of my dreams,’ and ‘not having a happy marriage’ belong to this pair of Tarot cards – even ‘I am happy without a happy marriage,’ because you can use the meaning of a card more than once in a sentence if it grooves. Since Queen of Swords is famous for doing without, ‘She sacrifices for the house.’ Since Queen of Swords is the widow misses her mate, and Ten of Cups is the marriage partner, ‘She longs for her departed husband.’ How she misses being married, too. ‘People fall short of her standards’ uses the most common meanings of each card. Well, she nags the family too. But ‘Everybody likes Mama, or Grandma.’

……..……………      Four of Pentacles and Ten of Cups      Four of Pentacles and Ten of Cups combine family and lack. Everybody is short of money, this says. I restrain myself (hold myself back, Four of Pentacles) so people will like me or be happy with me (Ten of Cups). Feeling short-changed or feeling inferior in the family: You see that, right? Four of Pentacles is keeping a secret, so these to say ‘keeping the family secret.’ Can you see ‘A hug from my husband’ as well? Ten of Cups, as ‘marriage partner’ is either wife or husband, and Four of Pentacles’ hugging himself makes that meaning for it. ‘People fall short’ and ‘ a damper on happiness’ and ‘we are all restraining ourselves.’ ‘Everybody but me’ isn’t immediately apparent: Four of Pentacles is outside of town, excluded, remember?

All of us are not as happy as we could be. There’s always something more that would be better, you know? Guess what? – you can be happy without enough; you can be happy without the home life, or the house, that you really want. You can be happy for no damn reason. They say living well is the best revenge, even. We make it a study today that sacrificing your own happiness for others may make you snarly enough to alienate your beneficiaries! Do not deny yourself your share of the family’s goodies, for goodness’ sake!

Queen of Swords………     Queen of Swords’ face is set in a stern resigned displeased and assertive expression. She isn’t getting what she is entitled to, isn’t being respected. Her high standards are not being met by you people. She is usually some kind of victim, or feels she is. This is how Queen of Swords comes to mean ‘Plaintiff’ or ‘Complaint’ in a court case. This is the widow everybody takes advantage of, or a woman who misses a dead child or baby, or an older woman who isn’t being respected. On the other hand, Queen of Swords is the strong woman, the assertive woman. It can be advice to assert yourself, demand what you are entitled to.

.

Four of Pentacles .…………    Here’s a guy sitting outside of town holding onto his money, staring straight ahead, hugging himself. This illustration applies several ways. It is about withholding and holding onto, and about internal processes – gut level – often translating ‘deep down.’ It is about being shy too. It means privacy and guarding privacy, and it means ‘secret’ and keeping anything secret. It means not telling, not divulging, not talking, and ‘shut up.’ It means stifling, suppressing or blocking feelings or anything else. It means ‘insufficient,’ not enough, not very, and not much. It is being low key, quiet, keeping to yourself. It is about not having enough, or not spending enough, money: budget, thrifty, cheap, saving money, broke, stingy, holding onto the money, “Don’t spend” or ‘not worth it’ or not paid what you’re worth,’ as in ‘underpaid.’ Sometimes it’s a hug. Watch for it in medical questions; it means internal there too.

.

Ten of Cups     ……….   is ‘us,’ ‘we’ and ‘everybody.’ All of us, the whole family – any group that isn’t sinister and is well-adjusted or civilized. Ten of Cups is unity and happiness. It is one of the (positive) marriage cards, so it represents a couple. You also see a home there, a house. ‘Married with children’ is one of its flagship phrases because of the requisite boy-and-a-girl prancing in front of the house graced by the rainbow. Ten of Cups is also the good life, the prosperous life of the suburbs.
