Tarot Readings for You for November 14, 2017 Wednesday©

Nov 13, 2017 by

From a lady who bequeaths all of her email readings to us here at Tarot Verbatim™ comes this query: She wonders, since here he comes back who went away with such finality, such energy, whether there’s some kind of unfinished business. Our answer indicates the unfinished business is on his side; he wants to repent and make amends.

.

You can Google any pair, or any single card, and expand upon the messages Tarot delivers to our Querant. You can also get yourself one of these Email Readings very reasonably. They are lovely, aren’t they?

.

Yes, there are two people who are looking into delivering the summaries (the Guidance and the italics paragraph in the middle of each post) to you as an app. Keep your fingers crossed!

.

And you too can do readings like this with Tarot Verbatim™ because the training is right over there to the left: It says Get Them Now. Check it out; you might be interested.

.

.

Tarot Readings for You for June 22-23, 2017 Thursday-Friday©

Jun 21, 2017 by

Here is a Tarot Verbatim™ Celtic Cross spread.  I accidentally used this form for this person’s Email Question.  Serendipity.  This spread is a good example of how there are 3 sentences in a Tarot Verbatim Celtic Cross layout, and how in Tarot Verbatim the similarity of the 3 sentences indicates the degree of accuracy of the reading.

.

Naturally, the client has agreed to share this story with you.

.

You can investigate these cards’ meanings by Googling them; you will get this site’s archives.  And you can get an answer to your question at the Email Reading navigation tab at the top of our site.

.

.

Email Reading

The category of life is:: Love
My question is::
is he married or still in love with wife? and am i the only woman he is interested in?

.

(1) Is he married or still in love with a wife?

.

.

                     Nine of Pentacles

Hierophant – Four of Wands – Magician

He is committed to his marriage: His initiative, she is independent and single.

He is – Magician

committed

actively; it’s his initiative – Magician

to his marriage – Four of Wands

+

And she is single and independent, content by herself. – Nine of Pentacles

[I drew a fourth card on impulse, and it neatly tells you this isn’t a legal wife, that she is a single woman.] She is content, so this isn’t a demanding ex.

.

.

(2) Am I the only woman he is interested in [other than Ms. Nine of Pentacles]?

[Celtic Cross Layout, Sentence 1 in Tarot Verbatim, the ‘first cross.’]

.Emperor (Self), Page of Wands (cover) x Strength (cross)

[Emperor looks like a truck driver here! A truck driver controls his world while he’s in the cab of his truck. The Self card represents him, the subject of your question.]

He is the boss in his sedentary controlling way, and he is proud to be flirting to (talking to) a strong woman who can handle him.

He is the Boss in his sedentary controlling way – Emperor

and he is proud to be flirting with, talking to – Page of Wands

an equally strong boss woman who can keep him in line. – Strength

.

.

Justice > Six of Cups [Extended Present: Just Past, Just Ahead positions]

He is doing right, and he is entitled to, and he should have a sweet li’l gal at her home to be romantic with.

It’s right to, and he is entitled to, and he should – Justice

be romantic with a sweet li’l gal at her home. – Six of Cups

.

.

Ten of Wands (Foundation) | King of Pentacles (Future)

He has always been and always will be the Italian Stallion/Studmuffin/Player.

He has always been – Ten of Wands

and always will be the sexy man/player, the manipulative fellow. – King of Pentacles

.

.

[Tower part of the Celtic Cross Layout, which is Sentence 2 in Tarot Verbatim:]

I just can’t do without (would be miserable) a good solid home life with a partner.”

2nd Self Card, I just can’t – Eight of Swords

Others/Environment card, be without (I would be miserable) – Five of Pentacles

Turning Point/Hopes & Fears card, a good solid home life with a ‘marriage’ partner. – Four of Wands

.

.

[Outcome part of Tarot Verbatim’s Celtic Cross layout, Sentence 3:]

                        Six of Wands

Judgment – Queen of Swords – Nine of Pentacles

It’s just as if he is back with his estranged wife who is also doing fine without him.

It’s just as if – Six of Wands

he is back with – Judgment

his estranged wife – Queen of Swords

who is also doing fine without him. – Nine of Pentacles

.

.

Emily adds:

I did not plan to put the fourth card on your first question; it just slipped out. And it created the whole reading which expresses perfectly the ‘wife in every port’ concept. Your fellow is very comfortable being a polygamist! Tarot says. I note he is ‘committed to his marriage,’ and his marriage is ‘her home.’ That’s the way I read this anyway.

.

And I did not plan to use Celtic Cross for your reading. That just slipped out too. But it really flows. And the Emperor as a truck driver is perfect, and new.

.

You can check the meanings of each card, or any pair, by Googling them.

.

And, by the way: In Tarot Verbatim, when the three sentences of the spread are parallel, it’s an indication of accuracy. The more accurate, the more they say the same thing.

.

I would LOVE to put this on the blog site as a post; are you up for that?

Guidance     We talk here about couples – in romance and in business life – who are the reverse of the usual male-female stereotypical relationship: the established perfectionistic powerful woman and the accommodating sweet natured man. She is probably older than he and this is not about a traditional marriage. He may act, in the business application of our story, as the diplomatic p. r. person to her sternness. He sings love songs for discriminating women.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in! People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.

.
If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ (above) is a summary of what the cards are telling visitors to be aware of that day.

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow. The family of commenters here would love for you to join in (the very last, at the bottom).

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards,  by itself,  has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contractions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it.

Nine of Pentacles

Knight of Cups, Star, Queen of Swords

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Queen of Swords and Nine of Pentacles are soul sisters, each edgy in her own way. Queen of Swords is the exacting uncompromising usually older woman, and Nine of Pentacles is the successful owner of home or business turf (or both) who minds her own business, is competent and is borderline reclusive.

Knight of Cups and Star both express affection. Knight of Cups is the sweet guy who is an assistant, with a soft helpful sweet nature. I call him the warm puppy and the guitar player. Star is to enjoy, to sing, to be acclaimed or praiseworthy, to have (or to be) a fan.

Knight of Cups is to approve or be approved, and Star is also to be acclaimed, to be popular, to have people be enthusiastic about you – or to be enthusiastic and sing the praises of another.

Clearly, we have the assertive dame and the soulful gent. So you can see how this story suggests and older-woman younger-man romance, or a lady tycoon and her able good-natured assistant.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Knight of Cups Here is the sweet affectionate guy who is an assistant, with a soft helpful sweet nature. I call him the warm puppy and the guitar player. Everybody likes him – you have no choice! He also means to approve and to be approved, to be agreeable, diplomatic, a peacemaker, a “p. r.” person. He is drawn by Pamela Coleman Smith with curved lines and soft colors to suit his amiable personality. Knight of Cups signifies anything being approved, not necessarily a person only.

Star expresses affection – is enthusiastic about someone, or people are enthusiastic about Star, are talking about Star. Star is to enjoy, to sing, to be acclaimed or praiseworthy, to have (or to be) a fan, to perform or a performance, to be popular, to be crazy about someone, or they about you. Star depicts that good feeling you have when you sing in the shower or when you are first in love. The illustration shows someone singing and in the process of a ritual bath.

Queen of Swords is theexacting edgy uncompromising usually older woman whose high standards we do not satisfy. This is mama-bat and the bitch on a bad day. She has that stern look and that posture on her Rider Waite Tarot card. Her hand is out with that ‘now would be good’ gesture.

Nine of Pentacles is the successful owner of home or business turf (or both) who minds her own business, is competent, edgy, and is borderline reclusive. Don’t ask her for a loan. In business, she often has a niche of her own that she is the authority of. She has her own peculiar interests – falconry and a vineyard here. And she dresses in a robe outdoors in the afternoon.

Advice is descriptive today about couples – in romance and in business life – who are the reverse of the usual male-female stereotypical relationship: the established perfectionistic powerful woman and the accommodating sweet natured man. She is probably older than he and this is not about a traditional marriage. He may act as the diplomatic p. r. person to her sternness. He sings love songs for discriminating women.

=================================================================================

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below. One or more of those sentences has something to say to you. Pick those out. They are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. (It is a group message like a horoscope, except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data, so it can be specific, accurate, detailed and direct. Our experiment here is “How much more accurate is it?”)

*Go to Advice to apply what those sentences say (in the best way) for you. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.) Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow.

The Question for weekdays is: “Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them. The Question for weekends is stated right on top on those days if there is one.

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Business Perspective

When this hard woman gives you a recommendation, you are very competent.

A recommendation from a person who has tenure/seniority gets you accepted.

She is so independent and so fussy that if she says you’re okay, you are.

She is known for her high standards: She stands alone and everybody accepts that.

A woman set exacting standards of competency in this field that are still widely accepted.

It’s widely proclaimed that this woman is accepted as the most competent in that exacting endeavor.

He is the deferential assistant whose contribution is the favorable publicity – the public relations – to the exacting strong willed woman whose enterprise this is.

Our Daily Spread for Feb. 4, 2011

Feb 4, 2011 by

Rider-Waite Tarot 2-4-11

She has the drive and the uncompromising intimidating attitude to succeed

Queen of Swords
Chariot, Nine of Pentacles, Nine of Wands

Re a man’s perspective:
*When she is angry, she can live without him so well, which threatens his command of the situation.
*She is in charge of her life and she expects him to be in charge too:  This is pressure for him.
*He is scared of the bitch; she rules the place he intends to manage himself.
*He is a very capable man when he is with her, so she minds her own business regarding that nagging old woman he is in fear of.
*He can handle this rich bitch at her most intimidating.
*It’s his choice to be in fear of  this hard-hearted lady who doesn’t need anyone.

Re a woman’s perspective:
He is a success and she is a success but it’s her demands you can live in fear of.
When she is angry, she can live without him so well, which threatens his command of the situation.
She has everything but is afraid she isn’t getting what she wants:  a successful man.
She does just fine with her controlling mama’s scary criticism of her.
Mother’s criticism is intimidating but daughter handles it coolly.
She has nerves of steel, can handle anything:  She is ‘calm, cool and collected’ under fire.
She handles this controlling guy so well that his ex lived in fear of.

Re business:
*The widow inherited this business; managing it makes her nervous.
*Ambitious businesswoman intimidates with her critical attitude.
*It’s her business, she is strong enough to run it despite an adverse environment.
*She has the drive and the uncompromising intimidating attitude to succeed.

Well, we start with the successful woman who runs the show, and the successful man who runs the show, then we have fear, apprehension and intimidation, then the critical woman who is dissatisfied and strong.  What to do with this?  There is an intimidating factor, most likely her criticism, her holding someone up to HER standards.  But whatever this intimidating factor is, both the man and the woman are succeeding, are doing fine, and are in control of the situation.

Today I divided the spread into whatever categories it embraces, and putting all the sentences that are, say, about romance, about business, etc. together, to make it easier to digest.  Because I mean for this blog to be something you can rush through when you are busy, and get the gist of.  No fillers!

Meanings and Illustrations:

The first card of today’s spread is the Chariot, a Tarot card that in Rider Waite is mainly a man’s or male card about command of the situation, being in charge, managing a project successfully, being capable, being a success, and about choice and voluntarily taking on a challenge.  Controlling the elements of your situation in order to get where you are going is what it’s all about here – even about being controlling.  Being ambitious, having the drive to run an enterprise or project.  The idea of driving a vehicle is what holds most of these meanings in common.

The illustration is a person driving a vehicle, controlling its direction in spite of adversities.

The Nine of Pentacles is our second character in the spread.  Whereas the Chariot is the man in charge,  a man who is a success, this is the woman in charge, a woman who is a success, the woman who does beautifully all by herself running an enterprise and living alone, single, minding her own business and not needing nobody.  She is rich, she owns the place and does as she pleases.

Her illustration shows a snail, which means ‘in her own good time.’  It shows her with a falcon, an expensive and powerful hobby.  She owns the place, she lives a live of leisure.  She don’t know ya.

Nine of Wands, we have met a few times already here.  Being or feeling intimidated or nervous or threatened, in fear.  Something is scary or a person is ‘under fire.’  The environment is adverse, even intimidating.

Queen of Swords: This is the strong uncompromising demanding woman who expects much of others and has nerves of steel.  She can be a nagging old bat too, in the continuum of the card.  Stereotype is the nagging ex-wife or mother.  She may be angry.  She complains.  She is a bitch at times.  She is Ray Charles’ “hard-hearted Hannah, the vamp of Savannah.”  She is sometimes a widow who misses the life she would have had and is bitter.  It also stands for a woman whose child has died, and she feels bitter about what could have been.

In the illustration, an old or older woman whose hand is out, with a stern unsatisfied – even angry or disapproving – look on her face is what we see.

I did a second spread for the  fun of it, mainly to see where the relationship thread was going.

Rider-Waite Tarot 2-4-11b

This relationship is so sweet it scares him into an outburst

Tower
Six of Cups, Page of Swords, Page of Wands

He is divorced and afraid of romance.
When he is nervous about feeling trusting, he talks about breaking up.
He afraid to divorce because of the children.
He got mad and had a temper tantrum at the girl he loves.
He is afraid to say something that destroys the happy home.
Afraid he will be rejected if he confesses his love.
Anxious to be the best loving person he can be, and split with his past.
Being the sweet guy he has always been makes him nervous about rejection.
He was afraid to split up but now he is a happy person in an old-fashioned love relationship.

All of these are romantic.  The most influential Rider Wait Tarot card in this spread is the Six of Cups, the ‘home sweet home’ vibe of romance, trust, children, the good old days.  Then we have the anxiety – second card, the Page of Swords – of the sweet guy, the third one, the Page of Wands. We close with one of the divorce cards, one that means rejection, a temper tantrum, an outburst – the Tower.  You can see, in the sentences above, how these meanings play into one another.  He loves her, he is afraid to be so warm and fuzzy, so he talks about breaking up – things like that.  You can put these together several ways, and I invite you to think up some more ways.  Comment here about that, if you would.

Meanings and Illustrations:

Six of Cups: This is THE romance card in the deck.  Little boy gives little girl flowers.  Home sweet home, sweet old-fashioned love, trust and other warm fuzzies.

Page of Swords: Nervous, fearful.  You see him looking all around, and nothing is anywhere near him.

Page of Wands: Fine fellow, good guy, nice looking, he talks up, he is himself up front.

Tower: Being thrown out of the house, in a disaster.  Temper outburst is suggested by the explosion you see in the illustration.  The picture reflects the Tower of Babel.
