Tarot Readings for You for July 12, 2013 Friday(c)

Jul 11, 2013 by

Guidance      Some types of close friendships and relationships make us uneasy.   A buddy gets on our nerves.  Being anxious about being close for different reasons.  Having to be more of a friend to someone, because of circumstances, than we really feel.   Not ready for the intimacy that is being offered or expected.

Instructions: Are YOU here for the first time? Come in! People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.

.
If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ is a summary of what the cards are generally advising visitors to be aware of that day. ‘Tarot Readings’ is the actual word for word messages to everyone. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself. THEN, the family of commenters here would love for you to join in.

Headings [So you can choose which belongs to you]

Tarot Readings: Anxious about Intimacy (Page of Swords and Temperance or Nine of Wands and Temperance)

Tarot Readings: Uneasy About Intimate Friendship (Page of Swords and Temperance or Nine of Wands and Temperance)

Tarot Readings: Friends who Get on Your Nerves (Page of Swords and Temperance)

.

Tarot Readings: Anxious about Intimacy (Page of Swords and Temperance or Nine of Wands and Temperance)

Anxious about being that close, and anxious about feeling that warm and fuzzy.

Being together with this boyfriend was thrilling until it got on her last nerve.

Not ready for the intimacy that is being offered, and not wanting to hurt feelings.

Touchy because I am uneasy about this being a proper partner for me.

He is defensive when he feels accused of being her romantic partner.

Tarot Readings: Uneasy About Intimate Friendship (Page of Swords and Temperance or Nine of Wands and Temperance)

Taking the friendly initiative is how to deal with edgy people, so reach out first to folks who are nervous.

Some people are so friendly it’s irritating: You feel uncomfortable when they stand so close.

He can be friendly with these intense and touchy guys because he is so laid back and naturally friendly.

He is the friendly guy who deals with the paranoid (customers): We are afraid to.

He is so close with his friend he feels he has to defend their relationship.

Tarot Readings: Friends who Get on Your Nerves (Page of Swords and Temperance)

Boyfriend’s close friend gets on her nerves: He is a threat!

He has to be nice and deal with this person who gives him the willies.

Thrilled to do the transaction(s) with him, but apprehensive about being his pal.

He defended his friend so much he came under the same suspicion with him.

Nine of Wands

Page of Swords – Temperance – Knight of Cups

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

The pattern today is pairs of cards that mean the same thing. Both Page of Swords and Nine of Wands are about anxiety, apprehension, edgy uncomfortable uneasy and defensive feelings. Page of Swords is that fear of things out there unseen; Nine of Wands is being afraid something that you battled and were hurt by is coming back to get you, but you are holding your ground. Very similar meanings, and both are about fear.

Both Temperance and Knight of Cups are about intimacy. Knight of Cups is the friendly relaxed fella who is everybody’s buddy, who makes the first move to shake hands. Temperance is the close or intimate relationship, and it means to deal one-on-one with someone.

So this spread echoes uncomfortable friendship, different styles and flavors of that circumstance.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

Page of Swords – here’s that fearful dude, hair swinging, whipping around, sword twirling in the air, and no one around for miles. He is nervous, irritated, paranoid. At best, he he thrilled or worked up about something.

Temperance is dealing with, usually dealing closely with someone. It is a close friendship or intimate partner. It can be about healing, not today. The angel pours water and wine together to dilute it. This is one of those ‘extra’ cards the Middle Ages added to make the deck acceptable to religious people who would accuse people of witchcraft. The picture does not have much to do with the meaning Tarot Verbatim(TM) attributes to Temperance.

Knight of Cups is the friendly guy, the boyfriend, the pleasant fellow who agrees, who meets and greets skillfully. He is depicted sitting on a still horse offering someone a drink. All the lines are curved and relaxed and all the colors of the drawing are pale and pleasant.

Nine of Wands is another high-strung fella. He has a right to be. He has been wounded guarding this border, once, and they are likely, he feels, to attack again. He is already wounded in the head. He rests on his pole anxiously, standing upright. He means defensiveness and nervousness, feeling tense and ill at ease.

EXPLANATIONS: [Use the arrow at lower right to skip this and go to Comments.]

All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim(TM).

In these group readings, there’s no question (and no Questioner) to limit what the four cards can mean, so they can mean opposite things.

When there is a negative-meaning card (a ‘negator,’ I call them), the readings contradict one another because that card can make any of the other cards in the spread negative. Negator cards mean things like: no, never, not, end, can’t, etc. Never be queasy about the number of ‘bad’ card because it takes two bad cards to say ‘not dead’ and only one to say ‘dead.’

Without a question or a Questioner, pronouns (I, you, he, she, we, they, etc.) are very flexible. I leave out pronouns in writing this as much as possible – awkward to do that sometimes. When I put them in parentheses, feel very free to change them around to suit yourself.

Now in a ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question which provides at least half the information! In an individual’s reading, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading, we cannot do that and so we get more variety of sentences.

Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers want you to know this!)

Tarot successfully addresses the group of visitors, whoever they are. It provides useful information that applies to their daily lives: They tell you this in the comments, for three years now. Tarot can tell you things about people you don’t know personally – such as whoever on your job has a say in your raise or continued employment there, whether that is one person or many. Visitors report that the information is equally accurate for new visitors as it is for the family of regular visitors.

Do you want to read Rider Waite Tarot, yourself? Start with Learn Tarot by Pictures to get the day’s cards’ individual meanings; then read Learn Tarot by Observation, which gives you the thinking those four cards inspire in a qualified reader. Next, Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading is the various things those four cards can say (without a question to guide them). Then, Guidance is a summary.

In this way, your intuition allows you to learn to read the cards without much effort if you come often enough. Regular visitors can just put it together.

Tarot Readings for You for June 5, 2013 Wednesday(c)

Jun 4, 2013 by

Guidance     There comes a point when we get it that someone isn’t what he (or she) pretends to be. There comes a point when we know someone we are dealing with isn’t about to do his or her part. Tarot is always paralleling personal relationships with money transactions which of course are also relationships. There are powerful folks who downplay their influence, and there are pretenders to power and influence. And there is the point at which it becomes apparent which is which.

Instructions: Are YOU here for the first time? Come in! People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.

If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ is a summary of what the cards are telling you about for today. ‘Tarot Readings’ is the actual word for word messages the cards are conveying to everyone who visits. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.

King of Pentacles

Four of Pentacles – Temperance – Hanged Man

GROUP ANALYTICAL TAROT CARDS READING

Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.

Headings [So you can choose which belongs to you]

Tarot Readings: The Manipulative Cheapskate (Four of Pentacles and King of Pentacles)

Tarot Readings: Studmuffin Isn’t Responsive (Four of Pentacles and King of Pentacles)

Tarot Readings: Dealing with Arrogant Bankers, Politicians, etc. (Temperance and King of Pentacles)

Tarot Readings: Dealing with the Powerful Man (Temperance and King of Pentacles)

Tarot Readings: The Manipulative Cheapskate (Four of Pentacles and King of Pentacles)

He sees he can be master of the exchange by not reciprocating.

He knows he can get the upper hand by being cheap in this deal.

Knows how to get someone close, and latches onto men who show money.

I see what what’s going on between us here: He does not have the money he acts like he has.

He is acting like some bigshot because he doesn’t have the money to do this transaction, but (I) see through that.

I know the type I am dealing with. He is masterful at paying as little as possible.

I see he isn’t about to come up with his part in our relationship, the manipulative bastard.

Tarot Readings: Studmuffin Isn’t Responsive (Four of Pentacles and King of Pentacles)

Realizes this is a mutual intimate relationship and restrains his crafty side.

Senses he can manipulate a close companion by refusing to communicate.

A sexy guy who won’t be direct one-on-one is the kind of relationship that turns (her) on.

You know he is manipulating whenever he won’t express intimacy.

Won’t let myself be too close with this guy, I know he is such a studmuffin.

I do sense that an intimate relationship with Studmuffin is not forthcoming.

I know when to shut up in a close relationship with a flashy guy.

Not responding to those princely dudes. I know an equal partner when I see one.

Others see him as the studmuffin type and won’t have a relationship.

He drains me so dry with his manipulations but I see it coming now whenever I deal with him.

Tarot Readings: Dealing with Arrogant Bankers, Politicians, etc. (Temperance and King of Pentacles)

As soon as you realize he is being arrogant, don’t deal directly with him.

I knew he was being highhanded as soon as he wouldn’t admit he knows that person well.

I know how to deal with self-important dudes who feel inferior deep down.

The idea to hang onto my money when my buddy – the mover and shaker – is involved.

I get the idea: Deal with bankers as little as possible.

Deep down, the boss is insecure when he realizes I am his equal.

He is becoming aware that he isn’t masterful enough to manipulate me.

When I’m broke, I know I gotta see the banker.

I don’t have anything to do with politicians because I know how they deal with people.

A guy who is that full of himself is empty and he knows it when it comes time to reciprocate.

Tarot Readings: Dealing with the Powerful Man (Temperance and King of Pentacles)

I know I won’t be able to deal directly with the powerful man.

Powerful man realizes his partner is sulking.

Now that he is a recognized VIP, people won’t talk freely with him.

He is a master of telepathy, so I am not opening up to him.

I know it but I’m not letting on that my close buddy is influential.

If you are master of the art of the deal, you know when to shut up.

Not admitting I do have direct access to a powerful man I am on the same wave length with.

Not letting on that the VIP and I read one another’s minds.

It’s apparent he isn’t powerful enough to deal as an equal here.

He makes things happen and is very secretive about that, but I know who we are dealing with here.

Men who have money are so cheap. You realize that when you have any dealings with them.

.

King of Pentacles

Four of Pentacles – Temperance – Hanged Man

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Stories galore for today. Very descriptive language of types we all deal with, and maybe have been ourselves, or are being ourselves.

The very first scenario that leaps from this quatrain of Tarot citizens is: Four of Pentacles is short of money or cheap; King of Pentacles is the fella who flashes the cash and either is or acts influential – the manipulative type; Temperance is dealing with another person, the deal itself, or two people who are close; and Hanged Man knows, realizes and senses, including sensing what is in another’s mind.

Four of Pentacles refuses to communicate, is secretive, even stingy. Temperance is dealing openly and directly.

There comes a point when we get it that someone isn’t what he (or she) pretends to be.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Four of Pentacles Here is a picture of someone who is not part of the community (outside of town sitting in the road), who is hugging himself (not being responsive, emotionally blocked), who is holding onto his money for dear life (broke or cheap). Sometimes this card is advice to shut up about something, to restrain yourself about something, or to take time for yourself and not deal with … ‘it.’

.

Temperance The pouring back and forth of wine and water to blend them describes dealing with people in any way you deal with people: the reciprocating, the back-and-forth that is the cloth of life on earth. This Rider Waite card is about direct one-on-one relationships unless another card butts in and modifies its meaning.

.

Hanged Man Upside down with your head on fire describes that disoriented who’d-a-thunk-it feeling you get when the thought strikes you … that you knew all along and never quite put together – that ‘I coulda had a V8’ hindsight insight. When the subconscious, which knew all along, drops the bomb fact into your brain, and makes you dizzy there for a while. Hanged Man usually translates ‘realize’ or ‘recognize,’ and often means sense, know, ‘get it.’ It refers to psychic and paranormal communication, mindreading, and being on the same page as another.

.

King of Pentacles We stumble onto stereotypes with this Rider Waite fellow. He is all duded up in Italianesque trappings: His robe is full of grapes, for goodness’ sake. He is the attention-getting VIP sort. He can be the pretender to the throne of influence. He can be the manipulative studmuffin or manipulative bankster. Even a pool hall hustler. But he can also be the real deal, the powerful man, the man with money, the influential friend whom you value.

Tarot Readings for You for May 31, 2013 Friday(c)

May 30, 2013 by

Guidance     Relationships between people who know what they want, people who are strong and focused – the macho man, the no-nonsense woman who runs a tight ship at home or work – can work really well. These are people who understand where the other is coming from, and instinctively respect one another’s space and one another’s foibles.

Instructions:

Are YOU here for the first time? People love this place!

Here’s what’s going on. See the pictures? Those are the four Rider Waite Tarot cards that make today’s messages (group messages) for you (and the people around you).

The site is divided into four sections. The first is a summary, an overview. That’s Guidance (above).

The second is the actual one-sentence group readings, Group Analytical Tarot Readings. If you have come just for your day’s trends, you can go now. You pick out the ones you intuitively relate to, and decide whether to seek or avoid that. People relate to these! See their comments, at the very bottom. We would *love* to hear from you. Don’t be shy!

Answers don’t have a question (or a questioner) to frame them, so, yes, they can be contradictory – especially when one of the cards means ‘not’ or other negative word. The negative can apply to any of the other cards. And many of the pronouns are flexible. Feel free to substitute

The third section, Learn Tarot by Observation, is the reasoning that makes those four cards say the things you just read in the sentences. It’s what an expert would be thinking.

The last section, Learn Tarot by Pictures, is the individual meanings of each card, based mostly on its picture, which you are looking at. Read this frequently, and you remember what some of the cards mean.

Tarot Readings: Relationship Between Equals (Temperance)

I am the type who knows exactly what I want, and she is that type too.

A relationship between two equals can be very satisfying.

Only one kind of wife he wants, and that’s a close buddy.

He is married to his closest friend, just what he wants.

Being the equal of a woman turns out to be exactly what he wants, exactly what he had in mind.

He knows what he wants is to have a relationship with a woman who is as tough as he is.

She is a controlling no-nonsense mama, and he is a stubborn guy with his own ideas; they each want a relationship with an equal.

Having a wife who is his equal partner is something that pays off handsomely.

Tarot Readings: Wife in Close Relationship (Temperance and Queen of Wands)

The wife she wants to be is: the intimate partner of a strong stubborn guy.

His wife wants an intimate relationship with her macho man.

He sees to it his wife gets what she wants; she is his closest companion.

She is in a relationship with this rough fellow, and she wants to be his wife.

She wants to stay home and be with her manly muscled man.

One thing on her mind: to be a married woman in the kind of close relationship she dreams of.

He is doing whatever he wants regarding the woman he is with.

Oh how happy she is to have a home of her own and a guy who thinks only of her to be with her there.

She has exactly the things she wants in her home, and has a real man there with her.

She is very comfortable with the kind of man she is with, a tough guy.

A union with a strong man, a home of her own: She is rich!

He has such an intimate relationship with his wife, he is satisfied with that.

He aims to stay together with his wife; that is what he wants.

She lives together in harmony with the rough guy she prefers.

We both get what we want out of our relationship with one another.

Tarot Readings: Woman Brings in Money (Nine of Cups and Queen of Wands)

He is sure the woman partner is going to bring in money.

They are totally pleased with the way the manager relates one-on-one to get the point across.

There’s only one thing she wants, and that’s to be the managing partner.

His wife’s associate is the one person who can make his dream come true.

She is the foremost capable associate; she is satisfactory.

His wife’s association with a very ambitious man benefits them both.

He and his wife are in something lucrative together.

Miscellaneous Tarot Readings

Dealing with mama to get everything he wants is his aim.

Macho men see her and want her to be their woman.

Mommy will give him whatever he wants; she is the only one he is close to.

.

Knight of Pentacles

Nine of Cups – Temperance – Queen of Wands

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Knight of Pentacles is a man with one thing on his mind, which has an interesting interplay with Nine of Cups: getting what you want. So the two together are talking about getting what you want the most.

Then we have Queen of Wands – the wife, the manager, the woman whose house it is, the competent and sensible lady … and we have a close relationship or partnership, being together, intimacy.

Relationships between people who know what they want, people who are strong and focused – the macho man, the no-nonsense woman who runs a tight ship at home or work – can work really well. These are people who understand where the other is coming from, and instinctively respect one another’s space and one another’s foibles.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Nine of Cups The chubby fella with the nine empties behind him and the big ole grin on his face is not just satisfied; he is safunsified. This is one of the simple cards: Your Wish is Granted; what I want, what he/she wants – comfort, riches, plenty … even excess.

Temperance This illustration does not match the meaning the cards takes on in Tarot Verbatim(TM). There are a few such exceptions. That’s a healing angel’s picture because of the design on his chest, and one of its meanings is healing (rarely, though). Its main meaning is close or intimate relationship, partners, being together or even standing next to, and ‘hand-to-hand’ like hand-to-hand delivery. It means reciprocal or to respond or reciprocate as well.

Queen of Wands She sits very upright and is looking, like mamas do. Big stick in one hand, flower in the other. She is the wife, the manager, the woman whose house it is, the competent and sensible lady.

Knight of Pentacles has his eye on the prize, and he is on the ball, as they say: focus, even obsession. He is the short somewhat stocky somewhat dark fellow with muscles, quite often. His horse is drawn to match him. (Have you noticed the knights’ horses match them?) He knows what he wants, and he aims to accomplish that purpose. (He will, too.)

EXPLANATIONS: SKIP THIS (AND THE TAGS) TO GO TO COMMENTS, BELOW. (Use the arrow on the right lower screen.)

Each and every ‘Tarot Reading’ sentence you see is a literal interpretation of the four Rider Waite Tarot cards drawn and pictured for today. (The literal interpretation is from the illustration on each card.) These sentences are put together by only combining the phrases of what each cards says. In other words, there are NO “filler” phrases added just to make full sentences, and no psychic ability or spirit guide is ever involved.

Now in an ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question and thereby supplies at least half the information! In a personal reading, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading we cannot do that and so we get a variety of sentences.
Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers want you to know this!)
Tarot, on the other hand, is perfectly capable of flexibly addressing any group, including all of the visitors that come to this site. It can also address people you might not even know personally, such as all the people at your job who have a say in whether or not you get a raise.

Tarot Readings for You for January 19, 2013 Saturday(c)

Jan 18, 2013 by

Guidance        Our story today is about how suffering and bad times bring people together.  We are also about how relationships that are terrible are still relationships as people are ‘friends through thick and thin.’  People put their heads together over their friend’s distress.  People are still friends with messed-up people.

‘Guidance’ is a summary of what the cards are generally advising visitors to be aware of that day.  ‘Tarot Readings’ is the actual word for word messages the cards are conveying.  Tarot can come up with a wide variety of sentences (sometimes even completely contradictory sentences!) in a group reading as there is no specific question being asked.  So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.

Want even more insight and information about a specific situation in your life? Call me, Emily, at 1-800-993-6912 and talk to me personally and have yourself a live, in detail, Tarot Reading like no other you may ever have had before. Your call will support 500 acres of wild life in an animal sanctuary where I live and call home.

Also, don’t be shy about talking to the Community of Users in the comment section below. You’ll find this as the very last thing on this site. Trust me when I say we would *love* to hear from you!

I seek help for the angst this relationship causes me.

It’s obvious how the boyfriend is suffering in the relationship.

It’s a horrible relationship we have here, but we are still buddies, and that’s a fact.

My view of the relationship with this nice guy is all wrong.

Tarot Readings:  Business, Deal, Settling Up (Three of Pentacles)

We are in the business of finding and helping desperate people.

A meeting of doctors who are open to suggestion about this worst case.

Two guys who hate one another get together to settle up.

It’s a deal.  I can see the downside, but I’m agreeable to it.

Tarot Readings:  Friends Through the Worst of Times (Moon + Knight of Cups)

At my friends’ suggestion, I see how wrong I have been.

We get together to help a sick friend.

We see how bad this is, and we make and accept suggestions as friends do.

You see how bad their situation is when you get together with these friends.

Someone, be a friend, come help me deal with this madness.

Business is so bad I go to my friends for help.

We get together to help a sick friend.

We see how bad this is, and we make and accept suggestions as friends do.

Helping one another when we know these are the worst of times.

We are all friends through the worst of times.

I know about your problem, and still get together with you as a friend.

Tarot Readings:  People Who Have Been Through Hell (Three of Pentacles + Moon)

People who have suffered the worst  are understanding and accepting of others.

I look for people who have been through hell as friends, because them I can deal with.

We are all in this hideous thing together, so we help one another out.

Someone, be a friend, come help me deal with this madness.

Tarot Readings:  Mishap, Lost, on the Road (Moon + Hermit)

We get together to search for our friend who has a mishap on the road.

We get lost on the road and some people give us directions.

Tarot Readings:  Addiction (Moon)

Seek suggestions from people who have dealt with the addiction.

When you are being treated for an addiction, you cooperate with their program

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Our configuration shows three cards that refer to friends and relationship.  In the middle of them is ‘the worst card in the deck,’ Moon.  So right off the bat it’s obvious we are talking about friends who get together over a problem.

Both Hermit and Knight of Cups are friends, and both are coming to, and both are offering help.  Having two such similar cards indicates emphasis, indicates that that is the focus, that is what is important.

Three of Pentacles is a relationship, a meeting, and working things out or negotiating.  It is people getting together on something, putting heads together on something.   This card equates business with romantic and social life:  It is about exchanges.  Business meetings and legal proceedings are part of it.

Moon’s illustration shows the Left Hand Path, the road to hell.  It means ‘horrible,’ and ‘worst.’  It means suffering, fear, addiction and sickness, and anything awful.  It means ‘lost.’

Our story today is about how suffering and bad times bring people together.  We are also about how relationships that are terrible are still relationships as people are ‘friends through thick and thin.’ People put their heads together over their friend’s distress.  People are still friends with messed-up people.

Three of Pentacles is a relationship, a meeting, and working things out or negotiating.  It is people getting together on something, putting heads together on something.   This card equates business with romantic and social life:  It is about exchanges.  Business meetings and legal proceedings are part of it.  The illustration shows an architect, blueprint in hand, demonstrating he is worthy of his last draw, the big one.

Moon’s illustration shows the Left Hand Path, the road to hell.  It means ‘horrible,’ and ‘worst.’  It means suffering, fear, addiction and sickness, and anything awful.  It means ‘lost.’ It means twisted, messed up, wrong.  Chaos, miasma, insanity (literal and figurative). The lobster goes on a land journey, coyotes are hanging out with a dog, and those two pillars there are symbols of evil.

Hermit is out on the road at night with his lamp, seeking travelers who could use his help.  He is a monk, a healing monk, so he stands for physicians and counselors.  He is sincere.  He is a true friend.  He comes to help.

Knight of Cups is your friend who comes to you to offer help.  He is the guy we all like, who can sell us anything, the good guy, our friend.  He has a gift for putting his hand out first.  Of course, this is the Boyfriend card too.  He is about being agreeable, and getting others to agree.

EXPLANATIONS:

Each and every ‘Tarot Reading’ sentence you see is a literal interpretation of the four Rider Waite Tarot cards drawn and pictured for today. (The literal interpretation is from the illustration on each card.) These sentences are put together by only combining the phrases of what each cards says. In other words, there are NO “filler” phrases added just to make full sentences, and no psychic ability or spirit guide is ever involved.

*Without a question* in a group reading to focus the answer, the four Tarot cards can mean quite contradictory things, especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no,’ ‘never’ or ‘not.’ These negative modifiers can apply to any one of the other cards.
*Without a question* in a group reading, the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) are more flexible. Whenever you see a pronoun in parentheses, please *feel very free* to substitute another pronoun than the one used. I try to drop pronouns when possible, which, if you’ve noticed, can make for awkward phrasing.

Now in an ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question and thereby supplies at least half the information! In an individual situation, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading we cannot do that and so we get a variety of sentences.

Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers know this!)

Tarot, on the other hand, is perfectly capable of flexibly addressing any group, including all of the visitors that come to this site. It can also address people you might not even know personally, such as all the people at your job who have a say in whether or not you get a raise.

We have been wondering here lately whether the Tarot Verbatim(TM) sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than they are for people who visit this site only once in awhile or for a short time. Would you help us with a comment please, if you have not been a regular visitor? Just let us know if the sentences are relevant to you. So far, people say they do apply.

Return to this site often and you can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim(TM) works. Regular visitors actually learn to read Rider Waite Tarot cards with very little effort.

Guidance    For the second day, it’s about overcoming and handling forces in your environment that oppose you (if not attack you), and doing so out of spiritual superiority, deftly, diplomatically … doing so by asserting who you are. In physical life, your chances of being mugged are just about zero if you have PMS that day. If you even seem as if you would like to, and can, handle any affront … well the givers of affront will skip over you: You look like too much work.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in! People love this place! Full instructions are at the bottom.

Guidance and the Tarot Readings are for you if you just want your daily look ahead. “Guidance” is the summary, followed by your word for word Tarot Readings from the four Rider Waite Tarot cards you see pictured here. Pick the sentences that you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them. Sentences contradict one another because negative cards, in this group reading with no question, can attach to any of the other three cards.

 Seven of Wands

Two of Cups  Strength  Six of Pentacles

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

Two of Cups with Strength … again. Therefore, these two readings are a major message. These two are about (Strength) overcoming and handling forces in your environment that oppose you (if not attack you), and doing so out of spiritual superiority, deftly, diplomatically … doing so by asserting who you are (Strength). In physical life, your chances of being mugged are just about zero if you have PMS that day. If you even seem as if you would like to, and can, handle any affront … well the givers of affront will skip over you: You look like too much work.

Two of Cups is interference, is something or someone butting into your life for its own benefit and against your interest. So we are talking about conducting yourself in such a way you repel buttinskis, energy vampires, (‘bloodsuckers’) social bullies, people who try to make you go to their church and vote for their favorites, or try to make you take them home and feed them, so to speak. Mooches.

Six of Pentacles is attention being paid, doing what is fair, paying what you owe fairly, police and justice matters, being treated fairly, and your pay (being paid).

Strength and Seven of Wands are both self-defense, from very different perspectives. Strength nips conflict in the bud, whereas Seven of Wands is a situation out of control, has some hysteria to it.

Seven of Wands is pressure, someone getting in your face, defending yourself against pressure, a mouthy person who insists on something or raises hell, pushy, a ‘mad as hell and not taking any more’ stance and also a ‘gimme the car keys and , no, I’m not gonna clean my room’ stance.

You can see how Two of Cups, being taken advantage of, dovetails with Seven of Wands, social pressure and mouthy confrontation.

You can see how Strength, getting someone to behave, dovetails with Six of Pentacles, being treated right and doing the right things.

Two of Cups
Strength
Six of Pentacles
Seven of Wands

Two of Cups is using another person, and is interference, is something or someone butting into your life for its own benefit and against your interest, taking advantage of you, cheating you, bullying you socially. Fraud and ‘false pretenses.’ (It can also be a grand sexual love affair, but not so much today.) Illustration shows a mischievous spirit (caduceus) overlooking a couple who is getting engaged.

Strength is self-defense that nips conflict in the bud, overcoming and handling forces in your environment that oppose or attack you, and doing so out of superiority (including spiritual superiority and being a superior personality). Simply asserting who you are deftly, diplomatically, gets some wannabe nuisance to behave itself. Illustration shows a woman in a white robe with an eternity halo making the lion who came to attack her purr while she holds its mouth shut.

Six of Pentacles is attention being paid, doing what is fair, paying what you owe fairly, police and justice matters, being treated fairly, and your pay (being paid). Illustration shows an employer weighing the coins he pays the help.

Seven of Wands is defending turf against invasion, or being the one who invades it. The self-defense situation has some hysteria to it. It can be ‘mad as hell and not going to take it anymore’ or it can be ‘gimme the car keys and, no, I’m not gonna clean my room.’ The invader feels entitled, and the defender is expected to win. Illustration is neighbors invading a fellow’s land who is in a night shirt with one boot on fighting back.

I N S T R U C T I O N S  &  Explanations  (Comments are below this.)

Did you come here just for your predictions? – If so, you are done when you finish reading the sentences of Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading.

Each Tarot sentence is a literal-interpretation reading of the scenes pictured on the four cards you see. Only what each of the cards says – phrase by phrase – no fillers – no psychic ability used. The readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. Tarot, all by itself, talks to you. This is a demonstration of that .

Tarot will address any group flexibly, as it does here of ‘all the visitors.’ (It can address ‘all the people at work who have a say in my raise,’ for instance, without you knowing who or where those people are.)

Horoscopes are group readings too.

Astrology has to be based on someone else’s birth data, though, so it does not solidly apply to you just because of where the sun was when you were born. (Astrologers know this.)

Emily wants to know whether these sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than for people who have come only a few times. Would you help with a comment, if that is who you are? Please?

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no, never or not.’ That negative modifier can apply to any one of the cards.

Without a question also the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute.  Notice how, as much as possible, we drop pronouns, which makes for some awkward phrasing.

The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information! In a ‘real’ reading, the parties are identified (including the gender of the questioner!), and so is the time frame if there is one. In this group reading, we cannot do that, so we have variety.

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing. This tells the thinking regarding the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  This is the meaning of each separate card.  This is how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works. Regular visitors actually learn to read Tarot without trying. The Tarot Talks tab has some examples for students.

P. S. Call Emily for your personal live reading at 800 99 3 6 9 12 (from Eastern 1 p. m. to Eastern 1 a. m. at least, every day). Emily analyzes relationships in business situations and personal situations accurately from *Tarot, *intuitive, and *practical perspectives.
