Tarot Readings for you for January 27, 2015 Tuesday©
GUIDANCE We keep contrasting good and bad in very different ways, like 'There's an undertow to going with the flow.' I've been so wrong, and I'm going to be so good. And it's all good no matter how bad it is. We contrast love and hate, love and lust, health and sickness, and we say it pays to be polite to rude people today.

Are YOU here for the first time?Come in!

Four Card Spreads, Our Daily Spread
THIS WEEKEND'S QUESTION IS "WHO TO BE TO DE-STRESS YOUR LIFE." It builds on last weekend's question.
HOW TO USE THE MATERIAL WE HAVE FOR YOU HERE. Read the sentences, and pick out the ones that seem to apply to you, to the people around you.
They are a Tarot analysis of your day's circumstances. As the day (or several days) unfolds, you may find the information is relevant. The question is: "Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them." Often, your adopting the attitude you feel in the blog works for your day!
Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean even contradictory things. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are less specific, more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. Especially when a pronoun is in parentheses, feel free to substitute.
The Advice section sums up a general meaning of all the sentences.
Three of Wands
Four of Pentacles, Three of Swords, Devil
WHO TO BE TO DE-STRESS YOUR LIFE
On the surface, we have three 'bad cards,' two of which are very bad. This spread will demonstrate not letting that scare you!
Two of our cards here are about income or money:
(1) Four of Pentacles means to be short of money, to hold onto money even as a miser, and to keep things to yourself, to shut yourself off from (whatever). Its illustration shows a fellow hugging his 'coins' close to his body. He is outside the town, staring straight ahead.
(2) Three of Wands means income, profit or money coming in, or good things coming. It refers to continuing and to the future. For example, 'continually in the future' would be a phrase for it. The illustration shows a merchant watching his ships sail toward where he stands.
Two other of our Rider Waite Tarot cards today are about adverse factors or big problems or 'what is against.' About hate, spite, and so on. Many of their meanings are the same, are interchangeable.
(1) Three of Swords' main meanings are hurt, hostility, adve...

Our Daily Spread for Feb. 9, 2011
Our Daily Spread, Tarot Verbatim
Business is profitable with that problem out of the way. A sexual liaison is going to happen.
Three of Wands Three of Pentacles, Devil, Eight of Cups
Business Perspective: The meeting about the problem is over before it begins – everything's going to be all right. Business is profitable with that problem out of the way. It's difficult to get the contract (or make the deal) but we will be immediately profitable. Will avoid a pitfall because of this conference. Will not make that mistake in the negotiation. Isn't going to be a meeting because of the difficulty. The meeting will be canceled due to illness. They put their heads together to avoid mistakes. Will miss the hardest part of the seminar. He is so grumpy when you meet him that you will avoid him. The three of them go out of their way to make illegitimate income. Everything will be fine if you don't screw up the deal. Mad because (he) waited for a meeting that was canceled. Romance Perspective: A sexual liaison is going to happen. Will drop out of the sexual triangle. Used to meet for sex but won't, anymore. Going to quit being the 'bad guy' in the relationship. Leave a relationship that is getting crude. Will not be meeting any more rude people. Going to leave in the middle of meeting Mr. Wrong. Avoid a coming menage a trois. So there's a meeting, a negotiation, a conference or seminar, and some problem or mistake or bad thing to avoid, and a profit to be made. All these sentences weave those four elements together. All's well that ends well in this spread, you walk on down the road but don't step in the poop patch. The card that means sex also means 'mistake,' 'problem,' and any number of bad things. That, of course, is the Devil card.
Meanings and Illustrations:
Three of Pentacles: This is the negotiation of the architect's final payment on his contract. The nun … yes, in that orange spotted getup – holds the blueprint. This is all about a meeting, business, getting together, getting your heads together, ...
