GUIDANCE Did you come here for Your Daily Predictions? Good! Guidance provides your predictions in a summary. It is the Guidance received for you through three Rider Waite Tarot™ cards, using Tarot Verbatim™.
GROUP TAROT READINGS Here are several one-sentence readings that are predictions for you and the people around you for today and the days around it. Here Tarot is talking to you: These sentences express word-for-word, verbatim, the meanings of those three Tarot cards. You choose which sentences apply to you, and you choose whether to encourage them or not.
SYNOPSIS Located right after the Group Tarot Cards Reading sentences, is a deeper expression of today’s Guidance. Read this too for your predictions. Here you complete your predictions experience. The rest of the page is more about learning to love and learn Tarot Verbatim™.
WITHOUT THE PICTURES For the true seeker of Tarot knowledge, here is what you need to know about how the three cards in today’s spread affect one another, and how to apply Tarot Verbatim™. Here too the cards come alive, together.
WHERE EACH PHRASE COMES FROM At a glance, with a color for each card, your subconscious picks up on how the sentences of GROUP TAROT CARDS READING came to be. You feel how individual card meanings reach out and blend, unite, into a sentence. (You can learn this – yes, you!) our subconscious awareness sees the image and its feeling and your conscious awareness sees the language meaning, the text… so your two minds focus together to see 3D, three dimensionally, the same way your two eyes see depth that one eye does not.
PHRASES FOR ALL THREE TWO CARD COMBINATIONS Are you ready for the final step of this revolutionary Tarot Verbatim™ technique? Now to make it exceedingly plain and simple, we list the expressions each pair of cards makes. We list them in paragraph form rather than itemized so that they flow, and your subconscious clicks into place and ‘gets it.’ You may even find flashes of dreams or intuitive realities as you read these, at times.
The Rider Waite Tarot™ deck is a data bank in mass consciousness that your subconscious can communicate with. Tarot Verbatim™ is the Rosetta Stone that makes that communication easy because it is a bridge between conscious and subconscious thought. When both your levels of awareness focus together, you think intuitively in real time in ‘the real world.’
Bon voyage!

Seven of Cups catches you unaware. It is about a mess … any kind of mess, from clutter to storm damage to mental derangement. It can represent a storm: the cloud and the debris. Its mood is shock and awe. Things have fallen apart, hit the fan, and are out of control.
The illustration is from Sorcerer’s Apprentice, when the bad spirits are out of control because the magician’s new hire has decided to mess with things. A similar story about the bad spirits being accidentally let loose is Pandora’s Box. In both these stories, there’s just one good spirit whose job it is to counterbalance the chaos of the demon kingdom, who is let loose after identifying herself (yes, female in both cases), and after the bad guys have a head start. In Rider Waite, this good spirit is under the white cloth in the center cup.

![]()
Hanged Man is an idea striking, and it represents subconscious or superconscious awareness. When the subconscious opens the hatch and lets loose with an idea from ‘out there,’ we feel disoriented (upside-down) and feel maybe our head is hot from stimulation (the energy halo around Hanged Man’s head). This illustration also accesses several myths about the hero god hanging himself on a tree and sacrificing a body part to obtain wisdom (meaning occult awareness).

![]()
Knight of Pentacles is a guy: very physically oriented, stubborn, self-centered, and ‘one thing on his mind.’ Strong of body, and focused. His mind is made up. He can be obsessing. He can progress to being a thug or punk, and his stereotype is the short stocky extroverted guy who sees in black-and-white. He and the horse he rides in on are dark, short, muscular and manly.
Now Without The Pictures |
We have two similar cards in our three-card spread: Hanged Man and Knight of pentacles. They both strongly mean thought, but there is a distinction this time: Hanged Man is intuitive awareness, even psychic perspective; Knight of Pentacles is single-minded conscious focus on the physical reality. Looking to the other card doesn’t help this time: It means total confusion. So all three cards are about thought, are different levels of consciousness. (This complicates sorting out what phrases belong to which card.)
Shall we take these two together, briefly, to see how they combine? Seven of Cups and Knight of Pentacles is keeping your mind on priority as things fall apart; it is concentrating on what is important when there are distractions. So we have a contrast between scattered (Seven of Cups) and focused (Knight of Pentacles), between one (Knight of Pentacles) and many (Seven of Cups). And we have a contrast between deliberation and focus in Knight of Pentacles and brain-fog – being out of control and scattered in Seven of Cups.
Now We Show You Where Each Phrase In Each Sentence Comes From |

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.
Two of Wands
Eight of Cups – Hanged Man – Knight of Pentacles
.
Hanged Man and Knight of Pentacles are both ideas.
Hanged Man is intuitive, subconscious, an inspiration, a realization, to sense or get a feeling or ‘get it.’ It is receiving ideas.
Knight of Pentacles is the opposite: conscious thought, concentration (even obsessive or fanatical), to focus instead of to realize. He is sending ideas outward. These two are the left-brain/right-brain difference. Each or both of these cards may appear if you ask a question about telepathy.
Hanged Man and Knight of Pentacles The phrases these two make, even though they both mean ideas, are varied. Here they are: realize (i am) fanatical or obsessed about; subconscious and conscious idea; focus on a subconscious; obsessed with psychism; psychic focuses upon; a hunch after all that deliberation; mind is made up; realize his ambition; you have a gut feeling and are convinced logically too; i sense they are onto my; is certain until (he) realizes; he is sure, and then it hits him; a strong feeling it’s a sure thing; an instinctive idea about your goal; the instinctive idea you have about this; an idea about your goal; goal is realized; you see your goal; gut feeling about your goal is. Can you sense the two minds interacting, in these phrases?
Eight of Cups and Two of Wands There’s a contrast – but less pronounced – in the remaining two Rider Waite Tarot cards too.
Eight of Cups is to desist, derail, drop, switch, change. It is the last-minute change, the last minute disruption.
Two of Wands is a sure thing, the long range plan, the overview, the long term outlook. These two Rider Waite Tarot cards are the difference between desist and persist.
Eight of Cups and Two of Wands, with their fairly opposite meanings, make these phrases in today’s messages: certainty is derailed; I will drop it; I am going to dismiss this; I am going to drop out; a disruption is coming; change of plans; changes what is (or was) going to happen; certain that getting out will; make a profit by getting out; financial default; a shortcut to optimum destiny, financial plan is not fully; will not be fully; will not finish; will not be met; you see you are not going to get to. Reading these phrases, can you feel the sure thing developing a question mark?
Knight of Pentacles and Two of Wands have something in common too. Knight of Pentacles is sure, certain. Two of Wands is a sure thing. Each of these Rider Waite Tarot cards are about future too. Knight of Pentacles is fixated upon it, and Two of Wands means the future.
Knight of Pentacles and Two of Wands Here are the phrases these two make, with what they have in common: sight of the future, logically; He is sure how to realize his ambition; an ambitious plan; sure it will; are sure of it logically too; (They are) onto my plan; he sees what is going to happen; certain of making a profit; He is sure that it’s a sure thing; the profit he is going to make; (his) financial goal; all you can think about is the financial end of it; focus on the financial reality; idea about the financial future; financial goal; goal about the financial future; financial goal is fully realized or met; will get to (your/his) financial goal. Meanings other than what they have in common create many of these sentences.
Putting the four together for the main message suggests suddenly seeing you are not going in the direction that gets you to your goal, and you turn off, maybe at the last minute? There’s a concentration on that goal being financial.
.
Eight of Cups is to desist, derail, drop, switch, change. It is the last-minute disruption. The illustration in Rider Waite shows a pedestrian changing direction because the terrain forces it.
Hanged Man is pure subconscious inspiration: the hunch, the eureka experience, the feeling in your bones, the intuitive realization – to sense it, to get a gut feeling, to ‘get it.’ The fellow ‘hung upside-down’ in the illustration (common to just about every self-respecting deck) reproduces the feeling you get when a major realization or vision is coming through.
Knight of Pentacles is consciously concentrating, focusing on a very deliberate goal or ambition or thought, even a fanatical or obsessive one. He is the diametrical opposite of Hanged Man’s kind of thinking. Here we see the short dark intense fellow, the kind who can even be the punk who puts his fists on you. Even his horse is sturdy, intense and dark.
Two of Wands refers to the future, to a plan, to financial security, to a sure thing or certainty. Financial plan is what it often means today. Illustration in Rider Waite shows a financier on his rooftop looking at his real estate empire and planning what to do next with it. He has the world in his hand so I guess he is a globalist.

Now, Part Two,
Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,
*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here. It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages.
*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures. It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say. It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.
You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.
This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.
Knight of Pentacles
Seven of Cups – Hanged Man – Knight of Swords
LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING
.
Hmmm, said I when I saw these. Two of the four Rider Waite Tarot citizens are about idea – an inspiration or state of mind or focus or awareness. Those are Hanged Man and Knight of Pentacles. Hanged Man is a subconscious realization producing a eureka awareness consciously. Knight of Pentacles is about one very conscious if not obsessive idea – is about focus.
Then Seven of Cups is many different scattered unrelated items together. It is about confusion and chaos … and smoke and debris and pieces of things lying around.
Seven of Cups and Hanged Man is dizzying unrelated thoughts … and
Knight of Swords would add ‘racing’ to that. Knight of Swords and either
Hanged Man or Knight of Pentacles would say ‘racing thoughts.’
Add to these Knight of Swords’ sudden reversal of direction or changes – including changes back and forth – and you have changes
of mind.![]()
![]()
So we have a contrast between scattered (Seven of Cups) and focused (Knight of Pentacles), between one (Knight of Pentacles) and many (Seven of Cups). And we have a contrast between deliberation and focus in Knight of Pentacles and being out of control and scattered in Seven of Cups.
These four are a recipe for one’s head to spin. Missing is any action at all! This is one of those pesky consciousness spreads. I hate it when someone asks what another person will do and we get a consciousness spread meaning he’s gonna think.
LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES
.
Seven of Cups … uh-oh. Many different scattered unrelated items are jumbled together like a heap of trash. Seven of Cups is about confusion and chaos … and smoke and debris and pieces of things laying around. Theories and apparitions. Seven of Cups is the magician who lost control of the critters in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and is about the critters who got loose from Pandora’s Box. Its signature phrase is … out of control.
Hanged Man has realized he always knew that! Hanged Man is when you go around saying some aphorism to your friends as if it were very meaningful and they are rolling their eyes at you … Yeah? Hanged Man is when you realize that the friend who said “Well, he had sex with that nun” has a point after you told Friend the story of Husband’s knowing the nun stole the hotel towels, that he saw her put them in her luggage. Hanged Man is the kind of realization that sometimes is quickly followed by a “Duh!” Psychic realization is part of Hanged Man’s territory too.
Knight of Swords goes back there again … goes back and forth … turns the corner … changes – especially changes direction. He means to pursue and he means to flee. I wish it were not so. He means to be in a hurry and he means speed. His illustration shows a fully armed knight in obvious pursuit, blade extended and leaning forward. His horse’s hair is flying and his horse is flying – both feet off the ground, which is not the way horses run.
Knight of Pentacles He and his horse are strong and sturdy, short and dark. They are standing still as he contemplates that one thing in his hands (a huge coin). Sometimes he is about self interest: The one thing on his mind is him. He can be a thug too – is at least very physical. Concentrating on one thing is Knight of Pentacles’ main meaning.

Trying this way of setting it up, what do you think? (Yeah, I won’t do so many next time: This is overkill, and it liked to kill me!) But you sure can ‘get it’ this way!

Advice A vision that what everybody is convinced of is not true. He does not have the same ideas as the folks do; he is mindful of that. I don’t want to be any type of people, my focus is higher consciousness than that. Sense how organizations block our individual ambitions. Realize you are not family to this ruffian. Group consciousness isn’t focused. Not going to be stubborn about it, realize most people are like that.
Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:
*Go to Advice (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.)
*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Readings below. One or more of those sentences has something to say to you. Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them. They are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. (It is a group message like a horoscope, except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data, so it can be specific, accurate, detailed and direct. Our experiment here is “How much more accurate is it?”)
Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow.
Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things, especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Hanged Man Knight of Pentacles – Four of Wands – Four of Cups LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING Knight of Pentacles and Hanged Man are both about awareness. Knight of Pentacles is a bit of a ruffian who is obsessive about one thing, whereas Hanged Man has acres of open mind waiting for landings of unidentified craft. Knight of Pentacles has bought into some issue ‘lock, stock and barrel’ whereas Hanged Man is still tuning in to the whole subject. Knight of Pentacles is the fanatic, is self-interested and driven. The next two cards taken together mean people (Four of Wands) aren’t interested, want nothing to do with it. Four of Wands is a group of people who have a group consciousness, a ‘we’ feeling about whatever their affiliations are, especially people who consider themselves the cream of their society or superior in some way – you know, one group has the right flavor of God and gets to look down on those other ones that don’t believe the same way, and so on. And Four of Cups is rejecting no matter how many times it comes up. So that is our main theme here today: people-groups and their consciousness; but of course we also speak of persons whose focus is to not get into this kind of mentality, who aim to keep an open mind and not join the clans. Knight of Pentacles Here’s the campaign manager, the fellow with the religious pamphlets, your neighbor that missionaries for beer and wants you to buy his brand of vehicle next time. He is full of himself, energetic, focused to the obsessive point, very strong and the physical type – Don Johnson. He often looks sturdy, dark and short with an energetic voice, just as he is pictured here, and just as his horse is pictured here. You see him on infomercials and see him in webinars as the marketeering guru. BUT this is also the persistence, the strong focus, the being mindful and even stubborn when you know one thing is for sure and you adamantly, deliberately have to. This is the individualist’s ambition and drive. This is zeroing in. This is the pioneer. Pioneers don’t belong on the assembly line. |

Four of Wands The institution or organization and its members have a ‘we’ consciousness. The society wedding pictured in this Rider Waite Tarot card has a public aspect, an outdoor show. Its members could have a lot in common with Knight of Pentacles, the True Believer in … anything. Four of Wands is the ‘us’ in ‘us and them.’ Four of Wands is citizenship, belonging, people who are ‘family’ to one another. It is also the Establishment, the mainstream, sometimes even the masses. |

Four of Cups isn’t having any. “I don’t drink,” as one glass after another is offered. Not going to. Reject. What part of ‘no’ don’t you understand? Today Four of Cups is ‘not a member,’ doesn’t have the same ideas, doesn’t want to be . Doesn’t want to divulge. He renounces, he does not join, is not a member of this family, ‘I’m not one of them.’ He isn’t your kind, is against this, and is blocked as an individual. ‘Everybody but me.’ He also stands for the ‘negatively’ of ‘negatively motivate. He is also being rejected by the folks; Tarot is almost always reversible in actions. |

Hanged Man usually simply means ‘realize.’ Aware. Tuning into and being turned on. The business of consciousness and awareness as a pursuit. Higher consciousness, psychic impressions, telepathy, sensing and having a feeling or gut (visceral) instinct about something. Intuits. Instinctively. One’s perspective. Feeling, feeling you are. An open mind that operates as a vacuum. The curious illustration on Hanged Man is about the feeling you have when deja-vu or eureka realizations hit you, or you have a sudden vivid realization full blown: You feel upside down, feel reality distort as your brain sorts and sifts everything around to accommodate this file. |

Advice is all about thinking processes … about changing your mind … about distilling things you know down to one belief … about letting your mind go far afield and come back with something interesting, some inspiration … about coming to a conclusion after experiencing all sorts of theories. Concentrating on too many things at once, flitting from one to the other. Even about running for the exit through smoke.

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:
*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below. One or more of those sentences has something to say to you. Pick those out. They are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. (It is a group message like a horoscope, except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data, so it can be specific, accurate, detailed and direct. Our experiment here is “How much more accurate is it?”)
*Go to Advice to apply what those sentences say (in the best way) for you. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.) Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow.
Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Knight of Pentacles
Seven of Cups, Hanged Man, Knight of Swords
MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD
Hmmm, said I when I saw these. That’s a polite rendition. Two of the four Rider Waite Tarot citizens are about idea or inspiration or mind or focus or awareness. Those are Hanged Man and Knight of Pentacles. The former is subconscious realization producing a eureka awareness consciously. The latter is about one very conscious if not obsessive idea – is about focus.
Then Seven of Cups is many different scattered unrelated items together. It is about confusion and chaos … and smoke and debris and pieces of things lying around.
Add to these Knight of Sword’s sudden reversal of direction or changes – including changes back and forth.
So we have a contrast between scattered and focused, one and many.
MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS
Seven of Cups … uh-oh. Many different scattered unrelated items together. Seven of Cups is about confusion and chaos … and smoke and debris and pieces of things laying around. Theories and apparitions. Seven of Cups is the magician who lost control of the critters in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and is about the critters who got loose in Pandora’s Box.
Knight of Pentacles He and his horse are short and dark. They are standing still as he contemplates that one thing in his hands (a huge coin). He can be a thug – is at least very physical. Concentrating on one thing is the main meaning.
