Tarot Readings for You for March 18-19, 2019

Page of Cups – Queen of Wands – Eight of Pentacles

Guidance

Why are some people the sensible ones who keep things going? I feel out of place working for such a plainspoken woman. But we weirdos feel right at home here, usually. It's a question whether a married woman would be working, anyway. If you keep asking him questions like that, you're his mama.     Could This Be You? Picture this: You look at the cards in your spread. You immediately get a...

Tarot Readings for March 2-3, 2019

Page of Wands – Page of Pentacles - Hierophant

Guidance

Here's the point today:  Just because you conform, just because you make sure you look good, speak well, keep your reputation and your vocabulary up, and so on ... doesn't mean you can't be a good and decent person too.  In other words, some people who keep a clean image are also clean underneath. Now that's a novel thought, isn't it? You could say cynicism is believing very little that's projected, a...

Tarot Readings for You for March 1, 2019

Hanged Man – Four of Swords – Ten of Cups

Guidance

It's all about belonging and not belonging today. Some people are content to be in a family, or other social group, that they are putting up with. Some people have a strong feeling of being one of the crowd they are in, and they are happy. Some people know that they are not one of the crowd, and tribe members know this too. Of course, some of us have no peers and don't care.     Cou...

Tarot Readings for You for February 19-20, 2019

Judgment – Nine of Cups – Ten of Wands

Guidance

Our stories and announcements today are all about getting what you want. Sometimes we don't know we wanted it until we get it. Sometimes 'Be careful what you wish for' is a reminder to us. Sometimes, all of a sudden, the sky opens up and our dreams come true … and it's the culmination of years of effort. Sometimes … gulp! … it occurs to us that we actually enjoy doing things the hard way, or actually enjoy im...

Tarot Readings for you for January 20-21, 2019

World – Eight of Cups - Devil

Guidance

Vulnerabilities. We all have them. We all arm ourselves against the pitfalls, against our favorite sins and slip-ups. There's the enemy within and the enemy without - whatever sets us off or triggers wanting something we don't want to want. Today we look at moments our wall of defense is about to be breached, and the ways we counter the impending breach. Our guard goes up to keep us out of the red zone. We detach and ...

Tarot Readings for You for January 16-17, 2019

Eight of Wands – Five of Swords - Strength

Guidance

I win one battle after another with myself – a seasoned veteran of internal conflicts to get the sides of myself that want to take advantage in line with the rest of us. When you resolve those conflicts, win the battles within, we say, what happens is that the battles without are also finished. When you think of the perfect squelch to a social antagonist, you know, you never get to use it. There's a Law o...

Tarot Readings for You for January 14-15, 2019

Queen of Wands Ten of Cups – Page of Wands - World

Guidance

We seem to address excellence today – just naturally being one of those people who live clean lives and have standing in the community for some reason. Happily ever after with a shapely woman who is a good wife and a handsome fella who is very respectable. He is also mother's son: She would not let him get away with a thing.     Could This Be You? Picture this: You look at the cards in your ...

Tarot Readings for You for December 31, 2018

Seven of Cups – Hanged Man – Knight of Pentacles

Guidance

Things are out of control, are a mess. We have three snapshots of myself when I am in such a situation. One is: It's confusing but I am getting it. One is: I have one simple perspective on it that makes sense to me, and I hold that thought. (I am staring at the horizon as the boat rocks.) One is: I know it's out of control,...

Tarot Readings for You for December 29-30, 2018

Guidance     Being content with the life you have is being successful as well as happy. You decide you're going to be happy, and you are. You decide to be solitary or a loner, and people like you better for it. Not everyone wants a fine house and car or a tony gal. Choice is the key. To some of us, privacy is the ultimate luxury. We are looking at a woman whose companion is a falcon, and she is wearing a robe at midday. Marrying well may well be this lady's success. Phone and E-mail Readings Av...

Tarot Readings for You for December 23-24, 2018

GUIDANCE     First we talk about how it's intelligent to fit in with the people you find yourself among, and to find yourself among people you do fit in with, in as happy a way as you can manage. We say that acting upbeat is to your benefit, and to the mutual benefit. We talk about face and acting your role in such a way others understand and accept you. We acknowledge some play-acting is necessary, and that there's an undercurrent as you go with the flow. We apply this concept to sharing money ...
