Tarot Readings for You for August 3, 2014 Sunday(c)

Guidance We share a concept of what is normal, acceptable, average and well-behaved. It's labeled 'the right thing' in the back of our minds. Although officially unofficial, this standard is enforced with various consequences that we agree to pay when we violate the standard, and we enforce that standard when other people cross its line. The standard is modified by both culture and situation just as some laws are enforced more than others. Being appreciated and even rewarded for achievements ...

Tarot Readings for You for August 2, 2014 Saturday(c)

Guidance The mind churns on like an ocean, its subtle randomness punctuated by the breaking of its frothy flow onto the hard soil of shore. Awareness of our own mental processes is only subliminal most of the time, until the wave hits the shore and we have a … maybe bright … idea right there in the head we do keep track of. We form solid plans and we make our life better out of pieces of information we pick up here and there. A psychic undercurrent runs right along with the other liquids, ...

Tarot Readings for You for July 31, 2014 Wednesday(c)

Guidance When the wolf's at your door, don't let him in today. We are being very superior today. We are not answering, not responding, not engaging; we are not home, not there. We don't know you, and as long as you continue, we are not going to know you. We are going to act like that glass ceiling that gives us such a hard time to break through it. We are in a bubble of just being our beautiful self today, never mind the outside world. . Are YOU here for the first time? Come in! People love...

Tarot Readings for You for July 29, 2014 Tuesday(c)

Guidance Is it worth the trouble to get? Is it worth the trouble for me to get? Is it worth the trouble for me to get it right now? Yes or no. That's our rumination for today: whether we want a beer badly enough to fetch it ourselves, or whether the sofa right now outranks the refrigerator. There are times when we are into the rat race whole hog, and times to retire from it. One way to tell how much you really want something is to watch whether you get up and go after it. It's one...

Tarot Readings for You for July 28, 2014 Monday(c)

Guidance It's a sunny day, and here we are in a mood to run away, quit, duck out, go on vacation, be free, abandon course and abandon ship. How come it's not fun anymore? we ask. Somehow, I'm not the happy-go-lucky kid I used to be. We are about to do something impulsively that later we will wonder about ourselves having done. (So look out.) . Are YOU here for the first time? Come in! People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by ...

Tarot Readings for You for July 27, 2014 Sunday(c)

Guidance What looks so easy and enjoyable can bog down longer term and drain you. What looks simple turns out to be so difficult. In the same breath, Tarot says both “I love you forever” and “I'm sick and tired of love,” and of course both of those sentiments can be felt simultaneously in the same heart. “Take a good look,” we say. This message pops up lately, doesn't it? We describe the feeling of ease, and the feeling of being overwhelmed. We also say love yourself, take it eas...

Tarot Readings for You for July 26, 2014 Saturday(c)

Guidance What do you want to come about? First, determine what that is. It's a change of some sort, of course. Next determine the things and/or persons in the way of progress. It's always something. Analyze. Now, we are going to determine the tactics that move the obstacles aside or overcome them. More analysis. Then comes the hands-on habitual consistent action. The work. This action can usually be very quiet behind the scenes because you usually start at the headwaters of the op...

Tarot Readings for You for July 24, 2014 Thursday(c)

Guidance What is inside you is the rudder that directs you to one or the other course of action … or both. Between the lines, today's readings suggest to be aware of your internal feelings and processes and inclinations since they determine your course. We especially apply this concept to the basic choice of whether to go with whatever is happening, to let whatever the atmosphere is around you be that way, or whether to affect those things by asserting your personality. Our rudder paddles u...

Tarot Readings for You for July 25, 2014 Friday(c)

Guidance I am so relaxed in spite of my nerves when I am with my best friend. Here we talk about exchanges and how people deal with them – whether they react in the same tone in which they were addressed, or whether they choose not to react, or whether they step in and calm the waters. You can opt out of drama, we gently suggest, and give some examples of how that's done. You can push the clutch in on that racing engine and coast right through its energy. On a good day. . Are YOU here for ...

Tarot Readings for You for July 23, 2014 Wednesday(c)

Guidance Friends form our days, and our days form our lives, so Tarot is suggesting an audit and inventory of our circle. We describe changing the people in our lives (lovers, friends, family, and at work) to suit changes in our tastes or in ourselves. Relocating is a wholesale re-stocking of the roster, and is also a way to add someone who isn't nearby. While we're at it, we point out that people who have good friends are good friends, and that we go out of our way for someone who does th...
