Two of Swords depicts block. Being internally blocked: blindfolded and seated alone at night in undershirt on a stone bench, holding heavy swords in crossed arms. Being blocked from going any farther: the ‘X’ her arms make and the fact she is at the edge of pavement where a body of water begins. This is one of those cards whose meaning is apparent.

 

Five of Pentacles Another obvious meaning. Sick injured street people at night in the snow passing by the food and warmth the cathedral offer, numb and oblivious to their own best interest. Despair, doing without, things you are doing without, being in need, being or feeling inferior or ashamed, lack of, and the prefix ‘de-‘ (dehydrate) to denote a lack or loss of. Sick. Sorry. Missing and grieving. Ashamed, cash poor and bankruptcy, depression (both senses). Victims, victim of.

 

Nine of Cups Safunsified. We all want to be him sometime – the fellow who ate it all, drank it all, has it all and is just sitting there fat dumb and happy. But not all the time (most of us): Too much of a good thing suppurates into the vice spectrum. This is pleasing and being pleased. This is satisfaction. This is things ‘just right’ in the Goldilocks story.

Ace of Cups Love and health and beneficial flows. Benefit without harm. Spiritual life and the presence of God – beautiful life, inner life, life force itself, thrive, to the fullest. Converged at our Tarot conference table we have Love (Ace of Cups) Relationship (Three of Pentacles) of your dreams (Nine of Cups) and a person or man who takes initiative and makes it happen (Magician).

Since Three of Pentacles is also a business deal, agreement or arrangement, or meeting together for a mutual purpose, we are also about serendipity in commerce.

In the middle is doing. To the left is smooth sailing (easy, ease, cooperation, etc.). To the right is a deal done to everyone’s satisfaction. Over all, we have being totally satisfied, getting exactly what you want, having it all your way. Again, in love or in business.

Both Ace of Cups and Three of Pentacles are agreement. Ace of Cups is being agreeable, cooperating. Three of Pentacles is the agreement.

Ace of Cups also means God, presence of God or Holy Spirit, so we have some sentences there. It means health too, and I could have added more than the one sentence that we have for that.

 

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

 

Ace of Cups Its illustration is about the blessed life of union with God. Its meanings are ‘all good and no harm.’ Love, true love, comfortable feelings. Health, ease and easy, smooth flow, cooperation, good, God and the presence of God.
Magician Action, taking initiative, doing, making it happen, being the one to do, or the one who did. Magician is the male principle of being active on a given plane (not receptive). Its illustration shows the Magician bring about whatever it is he wills, using his wand.
Three of Pentacles shows a get-together for a purpose. The architect demonstrates with the blueprint that he is entitled to be paid by his clients. The deal is mutual, the parties are present, there’s a meeting of the minds, an agreement is reached. They have a relationship and are ‘on the same page.’
Nine of Cups Safunsified, totally satisfied – satiated, even. This is the ‘Your wish is granted’ card in any self-respecting Tarot deck. The grinning chubby fellow has the nine empties on the mantle, is feeling no pain. He has plenty, he is pleased.

Did you come here just for your predictions? – If so, you are done when you finish reading the sentences of Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading.

Each Tarot sentence is a literal-interpretation reading of the scenes pictured on the four cards you see. Only what each of the cards says – phrase by phrase – no fillers – no psychic ability used. The readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. Tarot, all by itself, talks to you. This is a demonstration of that .

Tarot will address any group flexibly, as it does here of ‘all the visitors.’ (It can address ‘all the people at work who have a say in my raise,’ for instance, without you knowing who or where those people are.)

Horoscopes are group readings too.

Astrology has to be based on someone else’s birth data, though, so it does not solidly apply to you just because of where the sun was when you were born. (Astrologers know this.)

Emily wants to know whether these sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than for people who have come only a few times. Would you help with a comment, if that is who you are? Please?

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no, never or not.’ That negative modifier can apply to any one of the cards.

Without a question also the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute.  Notice how, as much as possible, we drop pronouns, which makes for some awkward phrasing.

The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information! In a ‘real’ reading, the parties are identified (including the gender of the questioner!), and so is the time frame if there is one. In this group reading, we cannot do that, so we have variety.
