Guidance

It’s the same experience, and a similar tense thrill, when we take a chance on love; when we put our money into a long-shot investment; or when we decide we’re going to pull off some shenanigan, some caper. A chance is offered, a risk is accepted, and, until the outcome is known, we are engaged.

Could This Be You?

Picture this: You look at the cards in your spread.
You immediately get an idea because you know a few of them intimately.

Here Tarot is talking to you: These sentences express word-for-word, verbatim, the meanings of those three Tarot cards. You choose which sentences apply to you, and you choose whether to encourage them or not.

LEARN TAROT CARDS BY PICTURES Are you ready to begin learning Tarot Verbatim™? Here your in-depth meanings come alive for each of the three cards! In Tarot Verbatim™, pictures make the meaning, so each card is like a person you know and remember.

WITHOUT THE PICTURES For the true seeker of Tarot knowledge, here is what you need to know about how the three cards in today’s spread affect one another, and how to apply Tarot Verbatim™. Here too the cards come alive, together.

WHERE EACH PHRASE COMES FROM At a glance, with a color for each card, your subconscious picks up on how the sentences of GROUP TAROT CARDS READING came to be. You feel how individual card meanings reach out and blend, unite, into a sentence. (You can learn this – yes, you!) Your subconscious awareness sees the image and its feeling and your conscious awareness sees the language meaning, the text… so your two minds focus together to see 3D, three dimensionally, the same way your two eyes see depth that one eye does not.

PHRASES FOR ALL THREE TWO CARD COMBINATIONS Are you ready for the final step of this revolutionary Tarot Verbatim™ technique? Now to make it exceedingly plain and simple, we list the expressions each pair of cards makes. We list them in paragraph form rather than itemized so that they flow, and your subconscious clicks into place and ‘gets it.’ You may even find flashes of dreams or intuitive realities as you read these, at times.

The Rider Waite Tarot™ deck is a data bank in mass consciousness that your subconscious can communicate with. Tarot Verbatim™ is the Rosetta Stone that makes that communication easy because it is a bridge between conscious and subconscious thought. When both your levels of awareness focus together, you think intuitively in real time in ‘the real world.’

Bon voyage!

Knight of Cups

Knight of Cups

Knight of Cups is the habitually casual friendly guy that we impute good intentions to, which means, of course, he is the type to get away with taking advantage, being the con artist that you still love after he fleeced you. He won’t have a bad resume (or a criminal record) because we forgive him. You see the curved lines and pastel shades on a Rider Waite card (Think Six of Cups), and you know it’s about something warm and fuzzy. That’s our boy here – our buddy, our boyfriend. He has a cup of friendship where a weapon would be … that is how he is armed, you know? He extends friendship. He and his horse are stationary and relaxed.

Two of Wands

Two of Wands

Two of Wands is high finance and moneyed people. You see the real estate mogul surveying the parcels below, making plans for more profit from them. He owns a lot of soil … has a worldfull of it in his hand. The plans give this card future tense meanings, and Two of Wands changes other cards’ tense into future forms too. Watch Two of Wands incessantly translate ‘will’ and ‘will be.’

Seven of Swords

Seven of Swords

Seven of Swords equates having the guts to take a chance with pulling off a crime … and it feels that way sometimes, doesn’t it? Those red socks he is wearing scream ‘hotfooting it,’ don’t they? Seven of Swords can be a dastardly doer of significant damage in bad company. Today, a nice guy is toning down his story, and we also have a solid citizen counterbalancing his evil proclivities.

Now Without The Pictures

Hey, we got a nice guy – a lover, even – in Knight of Cups. We got high finance and the upstanding citizens in Two of Wands. And we got crime, daring and high risk in Seven of Swords. The pirates who settled down and own the town: We got stories. We point out that you risk your heart, you risk your money, and you risk your safety, and there’s a return (a profit or loss) on those gambles.

Knight of Cups is a fellow you like. You cannot but help like a Knight of Cups guy: They are those lovable souls who accept you as you are and offer you something first. Born salesmen. They make great best buddies and ideal boyfriends. They have manners appropriate to the situation.

Two of Wands is about being established, about security, about the future, and about banking and real estate. It can be high finance, and it can be anybody’s bank account, or their mortgage. Two of Wands is a plan too – it is all about the future and sure things.

Seven of Swords is that gutsy person who’s gotta risk it all on some long shot, someone who is adventuresome enough to be a criminal type. He is especially dangerous (and danger is a key word for Seven of Swords) next to Two of Wands, because together they are white collar crime, the bank getting robbed or robbing you, embezzlement, and even high crime – because, after all, Two of Wands is about high society, banking and banks, and significant funds.

But never forget: Seven of Swords is daring to do it, having the nerve, having the guts.

Tarot Readings for You for September 23, 2013 Monday(c)

Guidance      Advice is all about thinking processes … about changing your mind … about distilling things you know down to one belief … about letting your mind go far afield and come back with something interesting, some inspiration … about coming to a conclusion after experiencing all sorts of theories. Concentrating on too many things at once, flitting from one to the other. Even about running for the exit through smoke.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!

Mind racing from one topic to another seeking inspiration.

Realizing you are high, you concentrate on getting clearheaded.

See for yourself it is a wild goose chase.

Concentrating on a lot of different psychic impressions coming very fast.

One thing is for sure: That is way too many changes of mind.

Realize all those things are the opposite of what I thought they were.

Tarot Readings: Narrow it Down to One Idea (Hanged Man and Knight of Pentacles)

In a hurry to get just one idea from a whole lot of contradictory theories.

You can imagine all kinds of things but come back to the original idea.

Your thoughts are scattered and you get your head back to where it was.

When you realize your thinking is out of focus, you go back and concentrate.

It dawns on him he is being a ruffian, and he changes his approach.

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

Knight of Pentacles

Seven of Cups – Hanged Man – Knight of Swords

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Hmmm, said I when I saw these. Two of the four Rider Waite Tarot citizens are about idea – an inspiration or state of mind or focus or awareness. Those are Hanged Man and Knight of Pentacles. Hanged Man is a subconscious realization producing a eureka awareness consciously. Knight of Pentacles is about one very conscious if not obsessive idea – is about focus.

Then Seven of Cups is many different scattered unrelated items together. It is about confusion and chaos … and smoke and debris and pieces of things lying around. Seven of Cups and Hanged Man is dizzying unrelated thoughts … and Knight of Swords would add ‘racing’ to that. Knight of Swords and either Hanged Man or Knight of Pentacles would say ‘racing thoughts.’

Add to these Knight of Swords’ sudden reversal of direction or changes – including changes back and forth – and you have changes of mind.

So we have a contrast between scattered (Seven of Cups) and focused (Knight of Pentacles), between one (Knight of Pentacles) and many (Seven of Cups). And we have a contrast between deliberation and focus in Knight of Pentacles and being out of control and scattered in Seven of Cups.

These four are a recipe for one’s head to spin. Missing is any action at all! This is one of those pesky consciousness spreads. I hate it when someone asks what another person will do and we get a consciousness spread meaning he’s gonna think.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Seven of Cups     … uh-oh. Many different scattered unrelated items are jumbled together like a heap of trash. Seven of Cups is about confusion and chaos … and smoke and debris and pieces of things laying around. Theories and apparitions. Seven of Cups is the magician who lost control of the critters in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and is about the critters who got loose from Pandora’s Box. Its signature phrase is … out of control.

Hanged Man     has realized he always knew that! Hanged Man is when you go around saying some aphorism to your friends as if it were very meaningful and they are rolling their eyes at you … Yeah? Hanged Man is when you realize that the friend who said “Well, he had sex with that nun” has a point after you told Friend the story of Husband’s knowing the nun stole the hotel towels, that he saw her put them in her luggage. Hanged Man is the kind of realization that sometimes is quickly followed by a “Duh!” Psychic realization is part of Hanged Man’s territory too.

Knight of Swords     goes back there again … goes back and forth … turns the corner … changes – especially changes direction. He means to pursue and he means to flee. I wish it were not so. He means to be in a hurry and he means speed. His illustration shows a fully armed knight in obvious pursuit, blade extended and leaning forward. His horse’s hair is flying and his horse is flying – both feet off the ground, which is not the way horses run.

Knight of Pentacles     He and his horse are strong and sturdy, short and dark. They are standing still as he contemplates that one thing in his hands (a huge coin). Sometimes he is about self interest: The one thing on his mind is him. He can be a thug too – is at least very physical. Concentrating on one thing is Knight of Pentacles’ main meaning.

Guidance      Mental rapport can make me physically excited, we say.  A meeting of minds when there’s a crisis is exhilarating too.   There’s a woman who has a head for business and a woman who has a head for romance, and they could be the same woman.   In romance she is being cool when he is heating up or when he is an exciting guy to her.  Part of being secure is knowing when to be on guard.  Hyper-alertness makes psychic impressions conscious.

Nine of Pentacles
Queen of Cups, Hanged Man, Page of Swords

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Queen of Cups and Hanged man both mean to know, to understand, to get it, to have it figured out – mean those in different ways. Queen of Cups has a sympathetic understanding, has a dream or an idea of her own (a pet idea that engrosses her) … often relating to her man. She is the type that people will tell ‘It’s all in your head.’ Hanged Man is the idea that strikes suddenly and is a realization, an intense awareness or inspiration. It is also psychic awareness, an instinct, a mindset or mentality, even a perception.

.

The next Rider Waite Tarot card, Page of Swords, means exciting, a challenge, hyper, getting worked up or being edgy, a perceived threat, even means jealousy. Page of Swords with Queen of Cups: an exciting idea, her exciting thoughts, thinking about that excites her. Page of Swords with Hanged Man: an exciting idea, an idea that turns (you) on, even intense anxiety.

Then there’s Nine of Pentacles. Nothing moves or upsets her: She is calm, cool, diffident, has a life and doesn’t need anyone else. She minds her own business and does as she pleases. She is the businesswoman, often single, is independent and has a comfortable life on her own. (She could be wealthy, could have an inheritance.)

Nine of Pentacles and Hanged Man: Independent women excite him. Also, her inspired ideas about business.

Queen of Cups is the domestic, soft-hearted woman; Nine of Pentacles is the worldly-wise woman who owns or runs a business, or has a fairly responsible job.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Queen of Cups knows, understands, gets it, has it figured out. She has a sympathetic understanding, has a dream or an idea of her own (a pet idea that engrosses her) … often relating to her man. She is the type that people will tell ‘It’s all in your head.’ She is the perfect loyal understanding wife, is an emotional soft female. Her illustration shows the water representing emotion surrounding her seat, shows her mooning over this funky artifact that, no doubt, her man gave her.

Hanged Man is the idea that strikes suddenly and is a realization, an intense awareness or inspiration. It is also psychic awareness, a mindset or mentality, even a perception. Its illustration (pretty much the same in most Tarot decks) shows a person hanging upside down with energy pictured around the head like a halo. Buffalo Springfield has a song that has that ‘hung upside-down’ phrase in it.

Page of Swords is an exciting edgy person. It means getting all worked up about something, being hyper, being excited, feeling jealous or threatened, being on guard about a perceived threat to turf. It also means a challenge. It never means being a threat. Its Rider Waite illustration shows a person with upraised weapon looking all around when the coast is obviously clear, and there’s a storm to reflect his jitters.

Nine of Pentacles is unperturbed to the bone. Do not ask her for a loan. She doesn’t need you. She is self made and independent and well off. Nothing moves or upsets her: She is calm, cool, diffident. She minds her own business and does as she pleases. She is clearly not into p.r. but is very respectable at least on the surface. She is aptly pictured in her vineyard with her funky falcon, a snail near where her robe rests on the ground. (Pamela Coleman Smith clearly never saw a falcon.)

Tarot Readings for You for September 11, 2013 Wednesday(c)

Guidance    How vested we are in the future! We are moving in. How we wonder hopefully and wonder anxiously about it, about what is happening out there. To anticipate is human. We wonder about our destiny. The underlying message here is, ‘Your ship is coming in, and it is carrying your jackpot.’ Today we are telling you about good luck, about good things are going to be happening. Good things come to those who wait for good things.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in! People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.

.
If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ (above) is a summary of what the cards are telling visitors to be aware of this day.

‘Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading’ (just below this) is the actual word-for-word messages to everyone. These readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.

Tarot Readings: Golden Opportunity is Coming (Three of Wands and Wheel of Fortune)

Wonder how wonderful this exciting opportunity will be.

Income is facing challenges, but there could be a lucky break.

Looking forward with excitement to a possible windfall.

Looking forward with excitement to a breakthrough.

Feeling anxious and wondering when the miracle will happen.

Anticipation … something great is going to happen … but what? when?

Be alert for an opportunity of some sort that is coming.

An opportunity that is challenging may be coming your way.

I think this is an exciting chance to make some money!

I figure my ship is coming in and I will be thrilled when it does happen.

A money opportunity is out there somewhere.

Speculating with future income, you hit a jackpot.

Looks like you are going to be rich. Isn’t that exciting?

Tarot Readings: Anxious Anticipation (Page of Swords and Seven of Pentacles)

You anxiously wonder what is going to happen.

You sense (or smell!) some kind of big happening in the air.

Future events may be scary.

If that happens, we will be alerted.

Not knowing what’s going to happen is unnerving.

What is going to happen may be nervewracking.

You seem destined to anxiously speculate.

Fearful speculation about some future event.

Seven of Pentacles

Page of Swords, Three of Wands, Wheel of Fortune

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Page of Swords and Seven of Pentacles are speculation, wondering. Seven of Pentacles is just wondering uncertainly, and Page of Swords is wondering anxiously.

Three of Wands is, yes, your ship is coming in. So our story is you are wondering about something that will actually happen.

Then Wheel of Fortune comes just short of guaranteeing that what is coming is that wonderful miracle, windfall, breakthrough, or lucky break.

Three of the four Rider Waite Tarot cards refer to the future (Page of Swords is fear of, Three of Wands is solid hope for, and Seven of Pentacles is wondering about).

When you focus more on Page of Swords’ fearful wondering, you get a more negative sentence.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Page of Swords is that nervous fellow or gal who twists the hair and stutters, the person who gives credence to whatever is threatening. It is that feeling you get when things do go bump in the night. It’s paranoia, it’s hyper-alertness, and, yes, it’s being in a dangerous situation and not knowing.

Pictured is a civilian with an upraised weapon whirling around on a grassy knoll in a windstorm, anxiously looking in all directions.

Three of Wands is seeing your ships coming in, and that is what is on the Rider Waite Tarot illustration if you remind yourself that the ocean is yellow there. This card refers to events being in the future, and Three of Wands often simply adds the future tense, as in ‘will be’ to a sentence.

Wheel of Fortune almost always is a stroke of luck – an opportunity, if not a miracle. It also refers to a happening, an event, destiny, and even coincidence. It means karma and it means ‘a chance’ as well. Pictured is what looks like a roulette wheel with all kinds of occult symbols and critters all over the card. In between the letters. in a circle, of T, A, R and O are the letters in a circle of the Name of God, four characters that make up what Christians pronounce as ‘Jehovah’ or ‘Yahweh.’ To Jews, reverence requires not saying it. The meaning expressed in Wheel of Fortune is that both divine and infernal spirits affect events.

Seven of Pentacles is that feeling of watching for the pot to boil. He speculates, as he tends the plants, on whether his cucumber plants will bear fruit … whether he has both genders of the plant which are necessary for fruiting to occur. Seven of Pentacles is one of what I call the ‘Duh’ cards.

Tarot Readings for You for September 10, 2013 Tuesday(c)

Guidance      The Unseen is where we’re at:  behind-the-scenes influences; undeclared interests; someone who wants ‘a piece of the action on the q.t.’ Undeclared influences from the dark side include spiritual ones, greedy ones, even the vamp who overwhelms him with his vices. There is expertise in spiritual combat. When you face your worst fear, it is a spiritual plane encounter. Overcoming addiction is spiritual combat.

He vigorously denies any part in a sexual scandal with that woman!

She is the temptress who overwhelms him with his vices.

Quiet women are the most lustful, are the ones who won’t take ‘no’ for an answer.

As hard as he fights that thing he most fears, he is falling under a woman’s spell.

When you face your worst fear, it is a spiritual plane encounter.

The addiction sucked you in, but you fought it off and are at peace now.

Moon

High Priestess, Seven of Wands, Two of Cups

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Three of four of our Rider Waite citizens today relate to the spiritual or occult. The remaining Seven of Wands means to fight off, to resist, to pressure or be pressured.

So our spread is about resisting unsavory influences, and is about the spiritual plane.

High Priestess and Two of Cups are unknown or invisible influence, are behind-the-scenes factors.

Two of Cups and Moon both refer to malefic spiritual influences a/k/a evil spirits, or a simple bad influence. In Two of Cups, the bad influence is undeclared, and is about a person ‘have a use for you’ or getting you to serve his/her interests rather than your own.

Moon and High Priestess are directly occult cards. Moon is ‘The Left Hand Path’ in occult parlance, which we normal folk call evil; High Priestess is the spiritual plane itself and the female principle as an occult concept.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

 .

Seven of Wands resists the incursion of neighbors onto his land in its illustration. This most frequently speaks of resisting pressure or influence – or, conversely, pressuring or influencing another. Think ‘Get out of my face.’ Think “I’m mad as hell and I won’t take it anymore.”

Two of Cups is the invisible, unknown or undeclared influence upon a transaction, person or situation – and not a good influence but a sneaky one, as a rule. It is about getting someone to do something that benefits you instead of them, but making them think ‘something’s in it for me.’ The con, in other words. Or a tax. Or an advertisement. Or propaganda. Or a dude who wants a piece of you. Or a kickback or ‘inducement.’

Its illustration shows a couple announcing their engagement (‘pledging their troth’ with the wine, a ceremony out of the Middle Ages). A symbol of malefic spiritual influence, the caduceus, is above them to indicate one or both of them ‘have a use for’ the union (like marrying for money or whatever). Many psychics miss this symbol and use this card for romance … which it is, but …

Moon is called ‘the worst card in the deck’ because it means ‘evil.’ As I said, it shows ‘The Left Hand Path’ which is magic’s term for evil and for evil magic. We civilians just call it wrong or evil. Pictured on the card are some towers that signify that meaning, as well as a lobster, purple, going on a land journey, and a dog palling with a coyote (unnatural, and bad for the dog). The face in the moon shows some kind of pain or concern, ya think?

Guidance      Sometimes there’s no right answer, no right course of action, so it doesn’t matter what you do or whether you do … you’re just as likely to regret one way as another. So never mind, just do it or just don’t do it, but don’t stew about it because it’s not worth the sweat you would expend. When it comes to ‘damned if you do and damned if you don’t,’ we have to admire those people who don’t sweat it, they seem to be such exotic blessed creatures.

Tarot Readings: What if (I) don’t do it? (Two of Swords and Seven of Pentacles)

He wonders why he didn’t do it .. oh, wah.

Will I be sorry if I don’t do it? Will he be sorry if he doesn’t do it?

What would he have to worry about if he hadn’t done that?

What is there to worry about if you didn’t do it?

If you are barred from being the man to perform this, why cry over it?

If you are barred from being the one to perform this, why worry over it?

What if he quit doing this? – worry about that.

Tarot Readings: Just Doing It, What the Heck? (Magician and Seven of Pentacles)

He doesn’t know why he did it but has no regrets.

He figures out how to do it without stress.

Here’s something you can do to prevent insomnia.

He doesn’t know what he is doing and he doesn’t care, either.

There’s no way I’m going to worry about not knowing what I’m doing.

Don’t be nervous, just do it – what the heck.

Upset that he ended it … “Why did I do that?”

Tarot Readings: Worry About Doing It (Nine of Swords and Magician)

He doesn’t torment himself speculating about what to do.

You could worry and wonder about what to do to prevent it.

He is not going to stay up nights figuring out how to do this.

He doesn’t worry. How could he pull that off, anyway?

What, me worry? I don’t do that.

How the heck can you do that without stressing out?

How can he do that without staying up all night?

Seven of Pentacles

Nine of Swords, Magician, Two of Swords

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

Whenever you see Nine of Swords or Nine of Wands with Seven of Pentacles, you think “Worry and wonder.”

Whenever you see Magician with Two of Swords or Four of Cups, it’s potentially about not doing something.

And that is what we have here. This foursome speculates and gets nothing done. I think it describes the feeling a lot of us have these days, of spinning our wheels, and there being no right answer, no right way, no clear homework assignment.

On the other hand, Nine of Swords and Seven of Pentacles says “Why worry?”

So our overall message here is ‘Why worry about doing or not doing?’

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Nine of Swords is so stressed, life is scary, so scary I can’t get a good night’s sleep. Life is a bad dream and I am fresh out of coping skills. Grief dogs me in the middle of the night. I think I have a headache and I don’t know where the aspirin is in the dark.

Magician is ‘Just Do It.’ (Remember ‘Just do it.’?) This Rider Waite Tarot card stands for the male principle of ‘active.’ He is bringing some event about using the tools of his trade, his hand raised with the wand.

Two of Swords Oh no you don’t! No way! The buck stops here. The road is blocked. you can’t. It can’t. A seated female figure is blindfolded, her arms crossed, with two heavy swords, one in each hand, which prevents any move except dropping them.

Seven of Pentacles is one of the ‘Duh’ cards. Uncertainty, indecision. He wonders whether his cucumber plants will bear fruit. It’s one of those plants that has to have both genders within reach of the bees in order to be pollinated to bear. Doubt about the outcome. Wondering.

Tarot Readings for You for September 6, 2013 Friday(c)

Guidance     We talk here about couples – in romance and in business life – who are the reverse of the usual male-female stereotypical relationship: the established perfectionistic powerful woman and the accommodating sweet natured man. She is probably older than he and this is not about a traditional marriage. He may act, in the business application of our story, as the diplomatic p. r. person to her sternness. He sings love songs for discriminating women.

Nine of Pentacles

Knight of Cups, Star, Queen of Swords

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Queen of Swords and Nine of Pentacles are soul sisters, each edgy in her own way. Queen of Swords is the exacting uncompromising usually older woman, and Nine of Pentacles is the successful owner of home or business turf (or both) who minds her own business, is competent and is borderline reclusive.

Knight of Cups and Star both express affection. Knight of Cups is the sweet guy who is an assistant, with a soft helpful sweet nature. I call him the warm puppy and the guitar player. Star is to enjoy, to sing, to be acclaimed or praiseworthy, to have (or to be) a fan.

Knight of Cups is to approve or be approved, and Star is also to be acclaimed, to be popular, to have people be enthusiastic about you – or to be enthusiastic and sing the praises of another.

Clearly, we have the assertive dame and the soulful gent. So you can see how this story suggests and older-woman younger-man romance, or a lady tycoon and her able good-natured assistant.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Knight of Cups Here is the sweet affectionate guy who is an assistant, with a soft helpful sweet nature. I call him the warm puppy and the guitar player. Everybody likes him – you have no choice! He also means to approve and to be approved, to be agreeable, diplomatic, a peacemaker, a “p. r.” person. He is drawn by Pamela Coleman Smith with curved lines and soft colors to suit his amiable personality. Knight of Cups signifies anything being approved, not necessarily a person only.

Star expresses affection – is enthusiastic about someone, or people are enthusiastic about Star, are talking about Star. Star is to enjoy, to sing, to be acclaimed or praiseworthy, to have (or to be) a fan, to perform or a performance, to be popular, to be crazy about someone, or they about you. Star depicts that good feeling you have when you sing in the shower or when you are first in love. The illustration shows someone singing and in the process of a ritual bath.

Queen of Swords is theexacting edgy uncompromising usually older woman whose high standards we do not satisfy. This is mama-bat and the bitch on a bad day. She has that stern look and that posture on her Rider Waite Tarot card. Her hand is out with that ‘now would be good’ gesture.

Nine of Pentacles is the successful owner of home or business turf (or both) who minds her own business, is competent, edgy, and is borderline reclusive. Don’t ask her for a loan. In business, she often has a niche of her own that she is the authority of. She has her own peculiar interests – falconry and a vineyard here. And she dresses in a robe outdoors in the afternoon.

Tarot Readings for You for September 5, 2013 Thursday(c)

Guidance      It’s all about thoughts today, about suddenly drawing an intuitive conclusion from scattered evidence; about that flash of awareness that comes from nowhere and everywhere, that we call ‘eureka.’ About dreaming up all kinds of things and they suddenly mount up to a realization that is mind-blowing.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in! People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.

If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ (above) is a summary of what the cards are telling visitors to be aware of that day.

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow. The family of commenters here would love for you to join in (the very last, at the bottom).

Tarot Readings: Strange Ideas (Queen of Cups and Seven of Cups)

Senses she is confused about several things she thinks.

The more she thinks about this, the crazier she realizes it is.

Her thoughts are out of her control, she is being inspired.

A dreamy woman has a lot of visionary realizations.

She is clairvoyant and clairaudient in her visions.

Words come to her that get her strange ideas across.

She suddenly realizes how outlandish her idea really is.

All these things make no sense until she gets the point.

Creative thinking is deriving a brilliant idea from pieces of ideas lying around.

She thinks these things are just useless stuff until it hits her – eureka.

You think all these factors are irrelevant until all at once you realize.

If you know how she thinks, you get it, but the message is garbled.

There are all the things that are known, and there are all the things that are too strange to be realized.

Things that are known are categorized in a written or listed way, but things that are in the process of being known are uncharted.

There are things that you know and there are things that you don’t know but would be shocked to realize.

One confusing realization after another occurs to her. (She is figuring it out.)

Some things you already know bring shocking realizations.

Tarot Readings: Discovering New Ideas (Eight of Wands and Hanged Man)

She thinks up every possible way – many bright ideas, one after another.

The more you know about unrelated subjects, the more new ideas you give birth to.

It strikes her, eureka fashion, what all these unrelated ideas mean.

There are things that we know and there are things that are brand new amazing discoveries.

Free association of a lot of unrelated thoughts one after the other sparks a new idea.

The more you know, the more amazing new ideas are.

Clear your mind of all the lists, and think of each item as unrelated.

Know what you know item by item but realize unknowns are undifferentiated.

Tarot Readings: Particulate Matter Suspended in Air (Eight of Wands and Seven of Cups)

She recognizes many of the pollutants suspended in the air; she is figuring these things out.

The air as it moves has various particles (particulate matter) suspended in it. Some of the toxins or pollutants in dust form are known, and some are to be being studied.

Some toxins or pollutants are listed and some we are aware of but are figuring out.

There are clouds you know and clouds to discover.

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contractions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it.

Hanged Man

Queen of Cups, Eight of Wands, Seven of Cups

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Now here’s a strange one! Three of our four Rider Waite Tarot citizens involve thinking, and the one in the middle means a list, many, messages, and increasing or increasingly. So our subject is thinking – thinking itself!

Queen of Cups is thinking or contemplating, studying or figuring out. (It also donates the pronoun ‘she’ which the others don’t.) Hanged Man is realizing, an idea that strikes, a ‘Eureka!’ experience, a discovery. Queen of Cups and Hanged Man are about getting an idea.

Seven of Cups is confusion, unrelated factors, a cloud, things that don’t make sense, amazing or shocking.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Queen of Cups has a lot of feeling in her thoughts. She is dreamy and she contemplates her man, contemplates some object in a subjective way. The water around her throne expresses the idea she is emotional. This is the vanilla woman, the blond of lore.

Eight of Wands is one after another, of whatever. It is a list. It is any kind of expression or message. It can mean fast or rapidly. It also denotes a mounting or increasing. The illustration suggests lines and shows one board after another in the air.

Seven of Cups shows a cloud with all sorts of unrelated stuff in it, and a black robed figure taken aback by it as (he) contemplates all those things. It is the Pandora’s Box story, or it can be the Sorcerer’s Apprentice story. The unrelated items are fairly malefic, but the one in the middle, shrouded, in considered hopeful.

Hanged Man is the realization or conclusion or discovery that strikes consciousness with no introduction. The thought that strikes you. Inspiration. The work of the muse, the psychic-realization process, a process that gives you that upside-down feeling, which is the illustration.

Tarot Readings for You for September 4, 2013 Wednesday(c)

Guidance      Advice speculates “Is there a different right way to be getting this done?” Changing the way I am doing these things may be the right way to go. We are invited to ask questions about how it’s always been done, to be open to a different and maybe better way, a way that seems strange or silly. People who always did the right thing can change, and so can the ‘suspicious characters.’ Run over there, apply for that job!

Tarot Readings: The Right Job, Doing the Work Right (Eight of Pentacles and Justice)

You deserve the job: Why not run over there?

How can (I) get out of doing the work right?

Aren’t you going to get going with the right way to do this work?

You are entitled to change jobs – right?

Maybe you are entitled to your job back.

Goofy employee does it any way but right.

A different way to do the job, a way that seems strange, may be the right way to go.

It’s weird how he/she is changing his/her mind about this being the right job.

Getting out of that job in a hurry before the law comes around asking questions.

Getting out of that job in a hurry may be the right thing to do.

(He) works so fast, how could the job be done right?

Tarot Readings: What About the Law? (Page of Cups and Justice)

With some doing, the lawyers can probably get you/him/her/them out of this.

Confused law enforcement (dumb cop?) keeps trying one thing and then the other, back and forth.

One unwise departure after another from what is legal.

Tarot Readings: It’s Right to Change (Justice and Knight of Swords)

Changing the way I do these things may be the right way to go.

How fast can this be done right, consistently?

Someone who has always done the right thing may have changed!

A suspicious character has changed his ways and is now doing the right things.

This is a silly way to do it; we should change.

Maybe I should change my ways of doing things, you know?

Are (we) doing it correctly, or is there another way?

Are we doing the right thing, or should we get out of this routine?

Keep trying different ways and you may get it right, by golly.

If you do things right, you will be out of there fast.

Is there a different right way to be getting this done?

How do we keep getting back on the right track?

May be doing it the right way for a change.

What the heck am I doing right that has turned things around so fast?

We are invited to ask ourselves whether we should change the way we always do things. Is this the right way to do the job, to do the routine tasks we do?

Page of Cups asks. It means silly, inappropriate, and it means ‘maybe.’

Eight of Pentacles is the way we always do it, the routine on the job, what we do over and over.

Justice is, of course, the right way. It means ‘should’ and similar words, too. And it does bring in a few legal aspects today – not much.

Knight of Swords is to change, to switch back and forth, to turn around.

Trial and error. We switch from one thing to another to see which may be the right way. That’s it for today.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Page of Cups, silly boy, is about maybe, duh, being dumb or goofy, or instructs you, the reader, to put this sentence in a question form. A fellow with ‘that look’ is holding a fish in a cup and wears women’s clothing.

Eight of Pentacles has a job and is doing its routine consistently, repetitively. A carpenter is at his bench making one object after another, all the same.

Justice is doing it right. It refers to lawyers, police, judges and assorted regulators and inspectors. It’s such an attractive Rider Waite Tarot card! Scales of justice in one hand and a sword of enforcement in the other.

Knight of Swords is in a rush for sure, and is in pursuit, switching back and forth, and getting out of there fast. Here are the phrases it births in today’s sentences:

run over

get out of

get going

change

get ___ back

any way but

get out in a hurry

back and forth

departure from

another way

get out of this

different way

get out of there fast

getting back

turned things around

.

Today’s theme is caring for relatives, lovers, children and the home – and caring both financially and lovingly. Both Queen of Pentacles and Hermit are caretakers. She takes care of her man and her man’s financial affairs as the loyal worldly wife. He is the devoted loyal kind supportive man who is faithful. Queen of Pentacles is taking care of her father or grandfather, too, since Hermit is the old man. Likewise, he is the devoted old man looking about for his daughter.

Six of Cups is also taking care lovingly and taking care financially. It embraces romance and children. It is about giving, about gifts. It is also the old home, the family home, the good old days, sweet memories.

Ten of Wands adds ‘a long time’ and ‘very much’ to all this loving care.

Sooo today is a good day. Today feels good.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Queen of Pentacles takes loving care of her man and her man’s financial affairs as the loyal worldly wife. She takes care of his estate or home. Stereotypically the assertive Italian matriarch with children. There she is with her hands on the money in the fertile fields (See the bunny rabbit there?).

Ten of Wands is the extreme: it is longer, deeper … more. It goes on forever. It takes on the whole load in one exhausting operation. See him there with all the firewood on his back?

Six of Cups is romance and children, so the illustration is of the little boy giving the little girl flowers. It is about old neighborhood, old times, old house. Nostalgia galore.

Hermit is mature. He is devoted, supportive, loyal, monogamous, faithful, honest, helpful … sounding like a Boy Scout. He is the old man, the grandfather. That is the aspect of him we are using today. He is the counselor and way-shower too. Rider Waite even pictures him as the monk in search of strangers to help in the middle of the night.
