Guidance

Having to pay the price and hating to pay the price:   We have all been to that counter, haven’t we?  We talk about knowing.   Knowing the hazards and knowing the price.  Knowing the price (in money, difficulty or angst) of whatever it is you have to be, to do, or to acquire.  It is about knowing what is right and who is right, and what is wrong and who is wrong.  Then it is also about what it costs to set things straight, to, say, cure an addiction or illness.

Ace of Pentacles

Ace of Pentacles

Ace of Pentacles is the right way, the right path, the right anything, and is a lot of money to pay or receive. It is a road or route. You can’t miss its meanings with the illustration showing that straight path that so many religions feature, and a hand with money in it over that path of success, with roses and lilies.  Sometimes you find it meaning a possessive pronoun too.

Queen of Cups

Queen of Cups

The woman who knows, the woman who knows her man and/or believes in him, the sweet lady. The good loyal wife. She is a woo-woo gal there, staring at a funky do-dad, water pouring around her throne. Queen of Cups can talk about opinion, mental (anything), expert knowing, and figuring out.

Justice

Justice

Justice often simply means ‘should’ or the way something should be or normally is. It means ‘straight’ and straighten out. Sometimes it means ‘sane.’ Sometimes it is about a right to (whatever). And of course it means the obvious (lawyers, court proceedings, to have a right or be entitled, legal and legally). Its illustration shows an upright crowned figure holding both the executioner’s sword and the scales of justice.

Devil

Devil

Devil gets around. It means anything wrong, bad, anything dirty, corrupt, perverted, and it means sickness, addiction, problem and difficulty. It is suffering or being put-upon, as in ‘after what I’ve been through’…. Once in a while it instructs to put cuss words in the material that is being quoted, even. It is one of those cards you don’t look to for the theme because it can mean so many things. Its message is that whatever you are limited by or bound by is your choice: The chains around the neck of the couple bound to the evil one are loose. ‘The wrong use of’ is a deeper meaning of this Rider Waite card. Abuse of power or force.

Now Without The Pictures

Queen of Cups There sits the lady who knows, or the woman who has her man figured out, or who knows her man and has faith in him. She is a believer; she is loyal. She is a naif (naïve). She tends to be a secretary or other mental worker. This is such a feminine card that it will translate ‘she’ and ‘female’ fairly often.

Ace of Pentacles and Justice On either side of her are two Tarot cards that strongly mean ‘right’ – Ace of Pentacles to the left, and Justice to the right. Since they are so similar – mean many of the same things – Queen of Cups’ meanings are stronger.

Ace of Pentacles illustrates ‘the right path’ and shows a hand with money in it, thereby combining doing right with having money. It can mean these two things separately, of course, and also strongly means successful and success. Today it is: paying, receiving, and the price. Ace of Pentacles makes, of Queen of Cups, she who knows the price, knows the right way and, of course, she who is right about that.

Justice, to the right of her, means the obvious (lawyers, court proceedings, to have a right or be entitled, legal and legally) and ‘should.’ Justice ‘shoulds’ a lot. Justice makes Queen of Cups a legal secretary, a gal with the right idea, the one who knows the law, a successful lawyer, and the person to straighten things out.

Up pops the devil here in our spread. Devil usually means things like horrible, problem, wrong, brutish or nasty, evil or wicked. It also refers to disease and addictions. Being bound to something, disabled, or even physically attached belong to Devil’s dictionary too.

Queen of Cups and Devil Devil makes the sweet Queen of Cups ‘evil woman’ with the ‘wrong idea.’ She has figured out the corruption, too … or she can be wronged.

Justice and Devil Devil brings the criminal into the Justice card’s sphere of influence, making the lawyer (Justice) crooked (Devil), but also simply saying criminal lawyer, or legal problem. Justice and Devil also speak of righting a wrong, straightening out an addict, and something that is legal but immoral.

Ace of Pentacles and Devilx Devil brings the high cost of treating an addict up, when it combines with Ace of Pentacles. It is also the ‘criminal’ in the phrase ‘successful criminal’ which we follow with ‘lawyer’ because Justice is standing by.

There’s no action card today, so our messages are on the theoretical side.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

                LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES..

.. …….…… ….. ………, Queen of Cups is the good woman/nice girl, and she also stands for thinking, feeling and opinion. Justice is straightening it out, making it normal, or getting even, as well as doing the right thing. Three of Swords is hurt, damage, heartache and revenge. Quite a few novels here.

Queen of Cups and Justice say the lady is right; she thinks he is right; she makes life normal, or her life is normal; she knows the law or is a lawyer; legal secretary; know you are entitled; feel something is deserved; the loyal wife who does right; she is levelheaded; consider straightening it out; she is okay with that. Those are easy.

Queen of Cups and Three of Swords has her with hurt feelings or in pain; has her knowing he is in pain or heartbroken; has her thinking of getting even; has her pondering the damage; and someone is mad with her, or she with them; she is the enemy, or has an enemy; she is thinking of splitting up, or divorce; she is a divorcee; she has heart trouble, or knows about it.

Justice and Three of Swords say legal divorce because Three of Swords is one of two divorce cards (Tower is the other). After the hurt I’ve been through, Three of Swords, I’m entitled (Justice) … or I’m entitled to hurt people! – or to get even. You have a right (Justice) to be mad (Three of Swords). A lawsuit (Justice) for damages (Three of Swords). Mad (Three of Swords) because someone or something is right. I hate it (Three of Swords) when I’m right (Justice). A litigation (Three of Swords) attorney (Justice). Straighten out or rectify (Justice) the damage. Is okay Justice) with the heart trouble. A normal life (Justice) in pain (Three of Swords)

GET A SINGLE CARD’S MEANINGS: TYPE ITS NAME AND ‘TAROT VERBATIM’ INTO GOOGLE.

Queen of Cups      One profile of Queen of Cups is the good woman, nice lady, sweet gal (Gloria in All in the Family, played by Sally Struthers) who is well-meaning and naïve. This is the loyal wife, the girl who ‘understands her man’ and admires him too. She is a believer.

Another version of Queen of Cups is the woo-woo gal, the dreamer who stares at that vase-thing while a flood snakes around where she sits. She is blond, of course.

The third version is the woman who thinks and feels and either is figuring it out or has figured it out: She is in the know, and probably quiet about it. Like High Priestess. Both Queen of Cups and High Priestess are feminine cards that often translate ‘she,’ and ‘her,’ and both of these Tarot cards can be secretaries or other mental workers.

What the versions have in common is: thinking, feeling, understanding, opinion. Of course, these three versions of Queen of Cups are not in separate bins never to blend: Queen of Cups can combine the parts to define an individual person.

.

Justice           You see the scales in his one hand and the blade, flat side facing you, and his crown, indicating justice enforced by the power of the powers-that-be. Justice is the card for any level and any kind of official law enforcement, from the regulating agencies to the dog pound to the highest courts, including undercover justice. Other cards cover karmic justice and street justice. However, Justice also stands for getting what is deserved (whatever that is) and stands for ‘what you are entitled to’ and the word ‘entitled,’ and its synonyms.

Besides its obvious application, Justice means ‘should’ a lot. It frequently means fair, to straighten out, to be straight, to have a right to, the right thing, to be right, to be entitled, and the word ‘entitled.’ Justice often means ‘normal’ and ‘sane’ as well.

Three of Swords      You see gray storm clouds with rain in the background, and a foreground of blades crisscrossing into a heart, piercing it. Three of Swords is obviously hurting, heartache, heart trouble. Three of Swords is also injury, suffering, trauma, bad weather or storm (Beware when Tower and/or Seven of Cups shows up with it, regarding weather.)

Three of Swords applies socially too. A hostile atmosphere, feud, hate, being against, schism, split-up, divorce and litigation belong to Three of Swords. (But it isn’t any kind of court action or proceeding in itself; it simply refers to litigation in some way, generally.)

.

.

.

.

.

Hmm, we are talking about how there’s a time for hate, a time to split or divorce. We are pointing out that it’s normal to have some hurt, some injury, some heartache in your life. There’s even a time for revenge, for getting even. We mainly point out to be thoughtful about these things, to think such things over sanely, understand them, get your balance … before you pull that trigger.

Our Daily Spread for January 8, 2012 Sunday©

Advice today is about knowing.  Knowing the hazards and knowing the price.  Knowing the price (in money, difficulty or angst) of whatever it is you have to pay or have to sell.  It is about knowing what is right and who is right,  and what is wrong and who is wrong.  Then it is also about what it costs to set things straight, to cure an addiction or illness.  Having to pay the price and hating to pay the price:  We have all been to that counter, haven’t we?

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Advice (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Reading below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them.  They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Devil
Ace of Pentacles – Queen of Cups – Justice

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS:  LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

There sits The Lady Who Knows, or The Lady who Knows Her/the Man, in the middle. Queen of Cups. On both sides of her are Tarot cards that in Rider Waite (and most other decks) mean ‘right.’ Ace of Pentacles is the right way, the right whatever, money, to pay or receive money, and a road. It is to the left of her. Justice, to the right of her, means the obvious (lawyers, court proceedings, to have a right or be entitled, legal and legally) and ‘should.’ Justice ‘shoulds’ a lot.

Then there’s the Devil, an ambiguous card that mainly means ‘wrong.’  It makes the sweet Queen of Cups ‘evil woman’ with the ‘wrong idea.’ It brings the criminal into the Justice card’s sphere of influence.  It brings the high cost of treating an addict out of the Ace of Pentacles.

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS:  LEARN TAROT BY THE PICTURES

Ace of Pentacles is the right way, the right path, the right anything, and is a lot of money to pay or receive. It is a road or route. You can’t miss its meanings with the illustration showing that straight path that so many religions feature, and a hand with money in it over that path of success, with roses and lilies too.

Queen of Cups The woman who knows, the woman who knows her man and/or believes in him, the sweet lady. The good loyal wife. She is a woo-woo gal there, staring at a funky do-dad, water pouring around her throne.

Justice often simply means ‘should’ or the way something should be or normally is. It means ‘straight’ and straighten out. Sometimes it means ‘sane.’ And of course it means
the obvious (lawyers, court proceedings, to have a right or be entitled, legal and legally). Its illustration shows an upright crowned figure holding both the executioner’s sword and the scales of justice.

Devil gets around. It means anything wrong, anything, dirty, corrupt, perverted, and it means sickness, addiction, problem and difficulty. It is one of those cards you don’t look to for the theme because it can mean so many things. Its message is that whatever you are limited by or bound by is your choice: The chains around the neck of the couple bound to the evil one are loose. ‘The wrong use of’ is a deeper meaning of this Rider Waite card.

Tarot reading 01-08-11

She knows so she can make it happen right/legally

Strength Queen of Cups, Justice, Four of Wands

She has taken charge of her situation:  She knows he is legally marrying her. She thinks of how to get him to get married to her. Nice girl asserts herself to make him marry her. She knows he is legally married but she can handle this. Her knowledge about how to get things done makes her the expert in the law firm. This little lady keeps the family members straight. She has the hands-on knowledge to make things be the way they should be in the company. She is knowledgeable about family law:  She wins. She handles the company’s lawsuits – she knows how. This sweet lady is the one who deals with legal departments assertively. She makes companies comply with the regulations that she knows. The girl knows the house rules are enforced by a strong woman. This is her family, she should solve their problems. She knows that bossy woman is pressuring him to marry her.

This is about being assertive when you know your stuff, that that is the way to have the right result. Getting him to legally marry you is done through strength of character plus knowing HIM.
