Ace of Pentacles
The hand with the gold in it tells you this card is about money. The road is featured, beginning in lilies and ending in a rose arbor, and its gold matches the payoff in the hand in the sky there. So you conclude this card means road, success, and ‘the right path.’ Ace of Pentacles also means perfect, and win, and right … the right anything. Queen of Cups
Queen of Cups is the kind loyal good-natured warmhearted woman who understands, especially understands her man (usually understands and admires), but this card means to think, to know, mental, thoughts, and what a person is thinking. Queen of Cups is strongly feminine and usually refers to a female. She is the dreamer type: See how she contemplates that doodad as a flood snakes around her chair? Queen of Cups can be woo-woo.
There’s a dichotomy to this Queen of Cups card. It can be the smart woman, she who knows, and it can be the naïve woman. She is thinking, figuring out, or she is engrossed in something irrelevant as the water rises.
Temperance
Think of Temperance as the flow between two people in a relationship or in a transaction – the back and forth that is represented by pouring the water and the wine together to blend. Temperance is the main card for intimacy, and is a strong supporting card for deals and dealing with. It is also partnership (So is Lovers, which is also a relationship and intimacy card.) So Temperance is about two people, and is about what you are dealing with. Watch for it to be one of several cards that translate ‘together.’
