Guidance

Life is always becoming. There’s no skipping to the end of the book to find out how it all ends; we live page by page. Our best friend becomes our lover. We withdraw and relocate for a better offer. We become a better person through the influence of a good friend. We help someone get out of a social situation that is due partly to their psychology. Our hope for the future is often pinned to our past condition.

Could This Be You?

LEARN TAROT CARDS BY PICTURES Are you ready to begin learning Tarot Verbatim™? Here your in-depth meanings come alive for each of the three cards! In Tarot Verbatim™, pictures make the meaning, so each card is like a person you know and remember.

WITHOUT THE PICTURES For the true seeker of Tarot knowledge, here is what you need to know about how the three cards in today’s spread affect one another, and how to apply Tarot Verbatim™. Here too the cards come alive, together.

WHERE EACH PHRASE COMES FROM At a glance, with a color for each card, your subconscious picks up on how the sentences of GROUP TAROT CARDS READING came to be. You feel how individual card meanings reach out and blend, unite, into a sentence. (You can learn this – yes, you!) Your subconscious awareness sees the image and its feeling and your conscious awareness sees the language meaning, the text… so your two minds focus together to see 3D, three dimensionally, the same way your two eyes see depth that one eye does not.

PHRASES FOR ALL THREE TWO CARD COMBINATIONS Are you ready for the final step of this revolutionary Tarot Verbatim™ technique? Now to make it exceedingly plain and simple, we list the expressions each pair of cards makes. We list them in paragraph form rather than itemized so that they flow, and your subconscious clicks into place and ‘gets it.’ You may even find flashes of dreams or intuitive realities as you read these, at times.

The Rider Waite Tarot™ deck is a data bank in mass consciousness that your subconscious can communicate with. Tarot Verbatim™ is the Rosetta Stone that makes that communication easy because it is a bridge between conscious and subconscious thought. When both your levels of awareness focus together, you think intuitively in real time in ‘the real world.’

Bon voyage!

Synopsis

Moving on. I’m not in a cramped situation every time it’s time to move on; I’ve just mined this turf for all I can get out of it, and another turf is beckoning. Saying goodbye is sadder if there’s nothing to hate, isn’t it?

Ace of Cups

Ace of Cups

There’s a flow from God (the symbols of the dove, the wafer, the ‘fives senses’ that the five streams represent) into the ocean of mass consciousness. The picture is taken from Ste. Teresa d’Avila’s Interior Castles, a heavy mystical writing considered by scholars to be the premier mystical work of Western civilization. The fountain is fed from the bottom and flows endlessly, representing the love and support of God (if I remember right).

With this in mind, Ace of Cups’ meanings hold together: the flow, the easiness of it, love, true love, unconditional love, health, help, God, peace, cooperation.

Six of Swords

Six of Swords

They leave town quietly, with the help of a friend and his little boat, with the clothes on their backs at dusk. Tomorrow is a better day when they get wherever they are headed, mostly because it could not be worse than where they are leaving.

Although Six of Swords makes a lot of phrases, many of them vernacular (slang), they boil down to these categories: Leaving; things are getting better; putting it (or someone) behind, or putting the past behind; bad times are over, or you get over it. This last concept also is expressed as ‘after what I have been through’ or ‘after he goes through hard times.’

Knight of Cups

Knight of Cups

Knight of Cups shares some meanings with Ace of Cups. Both are above love, help, cooperating, agreeable, peace, accepting. So you find them trading off as to who gets the phrase they both mean, and who gets ‘the other one.’

Knight of Cups wears Mercury’s wings on his helmet, and his horse is a cute pony who is standing still, pawing the ground like horses do when they have been there for a while. He has the cup (of peace and friendship) ready to offer someone (anyone). So the meanings Knight of Cups brings are related to those things: Offer and acceptance, suggestion and accepting, Lover and loving, help, friend, friend who takes initiative, taking initiative, person who comes to you, seeking or looking for (usually affection or love or friendship), and peace.

And of course, since ‘meanings apply both ways’ in Tarot, Knight of Cups is also the guy you love, not just the guy who loves you.

Now Without The Pictures

Six of Swords is one of those cards that tends to take over your spread and be the main subject (as it does today where the other two cards mean pretty much the same things). Its picture tells all. A woman and child leave ‘with the clothes on their backs,’ carrying no possessions, huddled as in suffering loss, paddled away by a friend who helps, in the friend’s open paddle boat. It’s twilight. (We don’t use the ‘journey’ meanings of Six of Swords today.

So Six of Swords means leaving or putting something behind for something better. “There will be better days” is the main Six of Swords concept: improvement, progress, recovering. So it has two moods: The regretful defeated feeling of having to give up one thing, and the hopeful feeling that it’s over and something better … at least may … be ahead. Note that Six of Swords can address the now, address the past, address the future, or address the difference between the past and the future. It’s a useful card regarding time that way. Twilight, of course is ‘two lights,’ meaning sun and moon, which reflects the ‘timing’ theme of Six of Swords. It also reflects ‘the end of one thing and the beginning of another,’ which Eight of Cups stands for as well (and that’s what Death means in other Tarot systems). And, by the way, Six of Swords represents ‘the departed’ whether departure is in a vehicle or is a death. But Six of Swords is not a card about the subject of death.

Six of Swords makes ‘timing’ phrases like: from now on, phase out, used to, no longer, gets through or going through, now that you’re leaving, is becoming, bygones, on the way out, moved on, bad times are over, when he departed, and ‘while’ phrases like ‘while you were away.’

As you know if you have been here a few times, points are made by Tarot in the way the cards in your spread have overlapping or similar meanings. So, Note that a friend is helping the woman and child in the boat escape their situation, and Knight of Cups means ‘a friend helps.’

So our Six of Swords is the middle card, with two cards on either side who have many overlapping meanings. Ace of Cups and Knight of Cups both mean love, help, cooperating, agreeing or being agreeable, peace, accepting, and a friendly relaxed situation. You see this and know that your spread is definitely a story about those things.

And it is, of course. Our message is about moving on into a better space ahead, and about having or being the friend or lover who helps. So today’s trend is good times are in store for us.

Six of Swords The meanings of Six of Swords are pretty straightforward but its applications are varied. You see a single mother skipping town at dusk with her son (tradition), with the help of a friend (the fellow who is using his boat for their escape), and with ‘the clothes on their back.’ Especially in Six of Swords, ALL the elements of the illustration apply.

.

Six of Swords can apply as to the leaving, the trip, or the better future at the destination. This Six of Swords Tarot card can focus on the dismal situation they are leaving (past tense); can focus on the trip itself (present tense); can focus on the destination (future tense). So its mood ranges from dismal (leaving a bad scene) to practical (the journey) to hopeful (looking forward to a better time at the destination). Improvement of one’s lot is most often involved: hope.

.

As to the past phrases, today we have these: not anymore, no more, get over, not as it used to be, is in the past.

.

As to the present tense phrases, today we have these: leave, going out of the way, get out of the way, avoid, on the way out, going through.

.

As to the future, today we have these phrases: getting, from now on, as time goes by, going to be.

Knight of Cups The three other knights are warlike. The illustration of Knight of Cups is in soft colors and curved lines. The horse is relaxed, has been standing stationary for a while (the hoof raised). Knight of Cups is the warm puppy, the boyfriend, the friend or buddy, the salesman, the cooperative easy-to-get-along-with friend or helper, the nice guy. Think Hermit without the vow of celibacy. (When Hermit and Knight of Cups appear in the same spread, you probably have a theme of helping/being helped.)

.

Knight of Cups is the nice guy, is good, mellow, diplomatic, polite, open to suggestion and making helpful suggestions, is the friend and buddy, as well as the good-natured boyfriend who loves.

.

Knight of Cups is about offer and acceptance, in both social and business contexts. When he shows up with the cards that mean deal or dealing (Three of Pentacles, Temperance, Six of Pentacles mainly), then his ‘offer’ and/or ‘acceptance’ meaning probably applies.

.

Knight of Cups takes the initiative; he comes to the other person. Same as Hermit, again. He invites, and can translate ‘invitation.’

Five of Swords Five of Swords does have some ‘good’ meanings, or at least neutral ones. Remember he can mean to beat something or get the best of something (like, say, illness), and can simply be advice to be assertive, or translate ‘assertive’ or ‘tough.’ Five of Swords can be giving someone comeuppance, as well as someone getting ‘their just deserts.’ It can even mean a challenging situation, especially cutthroat competition. (Five of Wands also means ‘competition’ and is about fighting as well.)

.

Okay. But most often Five of Swords is your bad guy: bastard, jerk, defiant, predatory fellow, thug, mooch, mugger, thief, abuser. Five of Swords is the revenge as well as the abuse. Five of Swords today is ‘getting tough’ and ‘being assertive.’ He can be the bully, or can be you whipping the bully. Which expresses how easy it is, really, to whip a bully.

.

When describing action, here are Five of Swords’ words for today: I snarl, abuse, pushy, be rude, mad at the world, abusing, abusive, you pick on him, take advantage.

.

.

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

                    LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

. ….. .   .

Knight of Cups is the good-natured fellow who helps a friend out. Five of swords is a snarly pushy dude who takes advantage of a friend. Six of Swords of course is going from a bad scene to one that at least isn’t as bad. Lots of stories here. Knight of Cups is a giver; Five of Swords is a taker. Knight of Cups is giving; Five of Swords is a mooch. Knight of Cups is gentlemanly; Five of Swords has no class and may be a thug.

.

In Six of Swords, a friends helps them out of a bad spot; Knight of Cups is the friend who helps. Knight of Cups helps, and Six of Swords is getting over a bad experience, so: ‘ Helps you get over the bad-guy.’

.

Six of Swords is one of those pesky cards that can translate ‘ not anymore,’ as Eight of Cups can. Knight of Cups is accepting. Five of Swords is abuse or the abuser. So ‘Not accepting any more abuse’ and ‘ Boyfriend ( Knight of Cups) isn’t abusive anymore ’ are two things these three Tarot cards say. Knight of Cups is the nice guy and Six of Swords isn’t anymore: So, ‘ No more Mr. Nice Guy.’ But you are being so nice ( Knight of Cups) that they can’t be rude anymore – and rude is Five of Swords, surrounded by ‘ can’t be anymore.’

.

The bad traits Five of Swords is famous for are nullified by the way Six of Swords ‘ isn’t as it used to be’ and ‘ is in the past’ and ‘ is getting over it.’ However, be aware that Six of Swords also translates ‘ from now on’ and also phrases like ‘ as time goes by.’ Six of Swords picks up time-sequence meanings because its story refers to the past, the present, and the future. (See what the single-card meaning department above has to say about Six of Swords.) Always keep in mind when deciphering which time-phrase Six of Swords is using this time that its story is always improving – getting out of the woods, putting the trauma behind, and getting over the bad times.

.

Knight of Cups is an offer. Six of Swords is leaving one scene for a better one, so: ‘ Leave for a better offer.’

.

Knight of Cups invites, and translates ‘ invitation.’ So we have ‘ Invite the bastard ( Five of Swords) to leave (Six of Swords).

.

As I say in the single-card meanings of Six of Swords: “The meanings of Six of Swords are pretty straightforward but its applications are varied.”

Tarot Readings for You for July 23, 2014 Wednesday(c)

Guidance      Friends form our days, and our days form our lives, so Tarot is suggesting an audit and inventory of our circle. We describe changing the people in our lives (lovers, friends, family, and at work) to suit changes in our tastes or in ourselves. Relocating is a wholesale re-stocking of the roster, and is also a way to add someone who isn’t nearby. While we’re at it, we point out that people who have good friends are good friends, and that we go out of our way for someone who does the same. We even remind someone that the day Lover left is actually a red-letter day in left-behind’s life.

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined three pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these three cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS is a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the three cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

Ten of Cups – Six of Swords – Knight of Cups

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

……….…………   Immediately you see this Rider Waite spread is stories – love stories, friendship stories, and family stories. Because

………………………..   Ten of Cups is the happy couple, happy married couple, the happy family, a circle of friends or of people who have something in common. It’s the happily-ever-after card.

………….…………..   Knight of Cups   is the sincere, accommodating and affectionate boyfriend you see in the want ads. He is the fellow who goes out of his way to be friendly to everyone, is the good friend who does favors. Knight of Cups reciprocates, cooperates, and takes the initiative.

……….……….………. Ten of Cups and Knight of Cups, therefore, are the happy love relationship with the warm puppy; are the coworker who offers to help; are a friend you have a good relationship with.

………….…………..   In the middle of this isSix of Swords, which means involving leaving or putting something behind for something better. Six of Swords makes ‘timing’ phrases like: from now on, phase out, used to, no longer, on the way out, moved on, and ‘while’ phrases like ‘while you were away.’ Its illustration shows people leaving like refugees in an open boat as it’s getting dark, carrying no luggage.

These spreads cover different scenarios of making friends and unmaking them, and the same for lovers. One reading reminds us that being left behind can be a red letter day in the life. ‘I used to be everybody’s buddy,’ we say, and ‘Be polite but avoid people.’ Different strategies work at different stations, you know?

Ten of Cups………. Everybody’s one big happy family, whatever it is they have in common that makes them the group: family, community, neighborhood, all the way up to international organizations, governments and races – whatever. Cohesive group. These are the good or respectable people unless Ten of Cups is heavily modified otherwise. It equates prosperity with happiness and being respectable. Ten of Cups is the ‘happily ever after’ card.

.

Six of Swords…………. ‘Leaving with nothing but the shirt on my back’ the saying goes. Six of Swords is getting out of a bad place and going to a better one. Life will be better mainly because it’s so bad now. It can simply mean relocating or leaving, or being the one left behind – language like ‘drifts away,’ ‘heading toward’ and phasing into our out of something. It can be about the past. It can be ‘used to be’ and ‘anymore.’

.

Knight of Cups………. He is welcome everywhere – he, the fellow who comes to help without being asked, who accepts you graciously, who is the affectionate friend and lover. He can sell us anything, especially himself. Knight of Cups is an offer, and/or an acceptance.

Knight of Cups

Two of Wands – Four of Wands – Six of Swords

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

Two of Wands and Four of Wands and Six of Swords and Knight of Cups Here we have stories. We have marriage (Four of Wands), a sweet-natured boyfriend (Knight of Cups), a good solid future (financially too) (Two of Wands), and times being better than they were, or leaving bad times behind for a better future (Six of Swords). These are elements of several stories, especially when you use the other meanings of the four.

Two of Wands and Six of Swords      say the future will be better; both say ‘from now on,’ especially Six of Swords. Six of Swords is a good future because of a bad past; Two of Wands is security ahead, for certain, and also emphasizes financial security, and a long term solid state, not just the improvement we see in Six of Swords. So Six of Swords includes the past.

Two of Wands and Four of Wands      are both about security and respectability. Both involve influential money, and both involve real estate … the idea of the one(s) owning the big house. Two of Wands emphasizes financial estate, banking, mortgages, pensions and other major investments. Four of Wands is more about social standing: It shows a society wedding to express security in financial and social life, whereas Two of Wands shows the banker or owner of the town upon the ramparts of his estate looking down and planning how to get more profit from the real estate below.

Four of Wands and Six of Swords      are about leaving the family or hometown and putting it behind for better times for yourself, relocating; yet can also be about better prospects for the family as it puts some bad times behind. The bad times don’t have to be financial – can be social only, since Four of Wands is mainly social in its emphasis. The group involved does not have to literally be family, but can be, say college or a Company, or even people you have been associating with. Marrying and leaving the nuclear family is an easy reach for these two.

Knight of Cups is a friendly likeable and loveable (young) man, a salesman of goodwill, the perfect boyfriend and marital prospect. This card often calls up words like ‘accept’ and ‘invite.’ He is known for being polite, and translates ‘polite offer’ and such phrases.

Our story today makes the point (and I think we can all play this one back) that who we marry, and how we leave our nuclear family, determines our future. It is so easy and appetizing to get into a romance and let it develop into something that determines our future as we marry . And it is so much more difficult to swim out of that tank. You may relocate to a place far away from where you would prosper, and be stuck there. (Ask me how I know this.)

Two of Wands      This fellow who owns the real estate of the town below looks at it and plans how to wrest even more money out of it. He has the whole world in his hands. Money and future are the two core meanings of Two of Wands … plan and finance. So you have: financial plan, financial outlook, security and financial security, having the money to accomplish something, real estate, bank, pension, security, a sure thing, the long term. The ‘plan’ part of Two of Wands takes over, though: What it really translates most of the time is: going to, the future, will, will be, will always be, ahead, and projected.

Four of Wands      This illustration is a wedding of leading families, a public occasion held at the estate of one of the families. Marriage, a good or stable marriage, house, home, real estate, and political influence or power are common meanings for it, of course. Security in financial and social life. It is the headquarters of some political entity (any size); it is any group of people – the ‘us’ of ‘us and them,’ the good people, the Establishment. So it is a community, company, organization – even a neighborhood.

Six of Swords      Things are looking up; better times are ahead. We are putting a past behind us, headed away from a bad spot. We are leaving, headed away from something. Six of Swords can be about leaving the family and putting it behind; it can be about better prospects for the family as it puts some bad time behind. Huddled in a shallow open vessel, mother and child are paddled away, by a friend, with just the clothes on their backs. Six of Swords often says things will be better because they could not get any worse.

Knight of Cups      We all like him. He does us favors and gets us to do for him. He is the good-natured young or youngish fellow, the warm puppy boyfriend and perfect marriage prospect. He extends his hand in friendship with a drink in it, and he has the wings of Mercury the Messenger on his head.  He fits into today’s spread perfectly as the good man of good family with a good future ahead of him. His relaxed personality is expressed in the drawing with pastel blues, curved lines, and a cute horse who could be on a merry-go-round.

Two of Wands    The banker who owns the town (See the world in his hands?) is about the financial future (as well as the future generally), and financial security.  He is planning on how to wring more money from his real estate below as he stands on the finished roof of his castle or whatever.

Four of Wands   shows a society wedding to express security in financial and social life.  It is about a good marriage, being one of the good people (the Establishment, perhaps), and refers to community, company, organization (civil or governmental), and even neighborhood.  It also can be a house.

Six of Swords    Huddled in a shallow open vessel, mother and child are paddled out of the area with just the clothes they are wearing.  Six of Swords says things will be better because they have been so awful, that we are leaving the past behind us. Six of Swords can be about leaving the family and putting it behind, yet also can be better prospects for the family as it puts some bad times behind.

Knight of Cups is the good-natured, likeable young fellow … the boyfriend and perfect marriage prospect. He fits into our spread perfectly as the good man of good family with a good future ahead of him.

Tarot Readings: Phasing into Being a Loving Boyfriend (Knight of Cups)

He instinctively knows how to connect lovingly: That is the direction he is heading.

As he is in the process of leaving, it hits him that he is being affectionate.

Let’s recognize I’m your boyfriend, and avoid being on iffy ground.

When the intense phase is over, I get around to being the nice relaxed boyfriend.

Love at first sight for him, and he was on his way, leaving all else behind.

Alternates between the idea of getting over it and expressing affection.

My idea of being a boyfriend is: leaving and returning over and over.

He keeps coming back to what he left behind, and that is his concept or idea of being a boyfriend.

Dawns on him that it is not one-thing-after-another in his love life anymore.

He realizes he is really in love as he keeps coming back to what he left behind.

Feels he is a friend but it may be headed in another direction.

He wants her to know he loves her either way – whatever happens – as he withdraws.

Don’t know where I’m headed but I send you my love.

Sending her the message, the thought that he loves her, as he goes back over the water.

Now that I’m on my way out of the situation, I feel relaxed and ready for romance.

Realize she might be avoiding you because she has a boyfriend.

Mentally departing from the whole idea of being the devoted loving guy.

Putting the past behind and getting into thinking like a guy in love.

It strikes him that the times he is affectionate have been when she is leaving.

Tarot Readings: Phasing into Having a Loving Boyfriend (Knight of Cups)

In the mood for a loving guy and getting out of doing the same things over and over.

An intense hunch that this is Mr. Right but I don’t know where it’s going.

Now that I’m on my way out of the situation, I feel relaxed and ready for romance.

It seems he is getting the idea of being the sweet guy as time goes by.

Putting it all behind, realizing the next boy who loves me will be better.

Tarot Readings: Phasing Out of Being a Loving Boyfriend (Knight of Cups + Six of Swords)

I keep trying to put thoughts of being a Boyfriend out of my head.

It strikes him that he is getting out of the phase of being sweet on her.

Realizing that your being nice is the reason they keep leaving you.

Tarot Readings: Phasing Out of Having Loving Boyfriend (Knight of Cups + Six of Swords)

I see him as a good guy, but he keeps going away.

Intensely feel you are going ’round and ’round with this boyfriend, you gotta get out of here.

Suddenly realize her boyfriends leave as soon as they introduce themselves (a revolving door).

I keep trying to get over Loverboy and put these flashbacks of him behind me.

Mentally departing from the whole idea of having a devoted loving guy.

Realize you had one affectionate man-friend after another back then, but that’s over now.

Realizing that your being nice is the reason they keep leaving you.

Tarot Readings: The Idea of Leaving, or Being Away (Hanged Man + Six of Swords)

Something-or-another gives me the idea to get out of here.

I am going around in circles to get out of this when a helpful inspiration occurs to me.

As he is in the process of leaving, we realize he was just being polite.

I see him putting distance between us but continuing to help.

The suggestion to ‘leave whatever is going on behind’ is illuminating.

He is aware, while he is away, of what is going on because a friend lets him know.

Friends get the idea to leave here, one after the other.

I get the idea we may be able to leave this place with the help of a friend.

Tarot Readings: In Acceptance Mode (Two of Pentacles + Knight of Cups)

Accept the idea that bad times are not quite yet over, but we are headed in that direction.

You avoid the upheavals when your mentality is acceptance.

Accept the idea that things that kept happening are not happening anymore.

In ‘acceptance mode’ now, realizing ‘that was then.’

I get over one thing after another as I see things clearly and accept them.

Tarot Readings: Phase Out, Avoid (Two of Pentacles + Six of Swords)

His idea or concept of being polite is to avoid rocking the boat.

Get the idea to just phase out of this cycle of being the nice guy.

He has no clear idea why he avoids helping.

Foolishly avoiding friends who know you so well.

I can see I am on my way out of this scene, with my friend.

A psychic friend sees past the phase you are in and the better times ahead.

My friend realizes I am going through a goofy phase.

Six of Swords

Two of Pentacles – Knight of Cups – Hanged Man

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

Two of Pentacles is a cycle or phase – either phasing in or phasing out, but more the in-out cycle. Six of Swords is phasing out and leaving. It usually means things are not as bad as they were, that times are better; and Two of Pentacles is a light card that can mean, say, entertainment or silliness.

The star card today is Knight of Cups, the boyfriend, the nice polite agreeable romantic fellow who puts his hand out in love or friendship.

Hanged Man is intense feeling, realization, seeing and knowing, getting the idea … illuminating.

Our story is phasing in or phasing out of love. It is also about accepting ups and downs which avoids upheaval.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

Two of Pentacles Two of Pentacles is a cycle or phase – either phasing in or phasing out, but more the in-out cycle. It means one time after another, going through, foolishness, rocking the boat, upheaval or ups and downs. The juggler’s plates go up and down with the waves that toss the boats behind him, and he is dressed in a dunce cap.
Knight of Cups is the boyfriend, the nice polite agreeable romantic fellow who puts his hand out in love or friendship. He is the friend who accepts an offer, gives a suggestion, and puts you at ease. He communicates – wings of Mercury are there on his helmet.
Hanged Man Several Gods got illumination hanging on a tree, including Odin of Norse lore. Hanged Man illustrates that upside-down feeling you get (hair on fire) when an idea upends your reality temporarily as you ‘get it.’ The rush of inspiration as the muse brushes your subconscious into your mundane mindset.
Six of Swords Heading on out to better times ahead, leaving the scene. Avoiding the worst. Going in a direction; having departed; putting distance between; being away. A woman and child’s bent figures huddle in a small boat as a friend paddles them away. ‘Only the clothes on their back.’

I N S T R U C T I O N S & Explanations (Comments are below this.)

Did you come here just for your predictions? – If so, you are done when you finish reading the sentences of Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading.

Each Tarot sentence is a literal-interpretation reading of the scenes pictured on the four cards you see. Only what each of the cards says – phrase by phrase – no fillers – no psychic ability used. The readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. Tarot, all by itself, talks to you. This is a demonstration of that .

Tarot will address any group flexibly, as it does here of ‘all the visitors.’ (It can address ‘all the people at work who have a say in my raise,’ for instance, without you knowing who or where those people are.)

Horoscopes are group readings too.

Astrology has to be based on someone else’s birth data, though, so it does not solidly apply to you just because of where the sun was when you were born. (Astrologers know this.)

Emily wants to know whether these sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than for people who have come only a few times. Would you help with a comment, if that is who you are? Please?

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no, never or not.’ That negative modifier can apply to any one of the cards.

Without a question also the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute.  Notice how, as much as possible, we drop pronouns, which makes for some awkward phrasing.

The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information! In a ‘real’ reading, the parties are identified (including the gender of the questioner!), and so is the time frame if there is one. In this group reading, we cannot do that, so we have variety.

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing. This tells the thinking regarding the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  This is the meaning of each separate card.  This is how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works. Regular visitors actually learn to read Tarot without trying. The Tarot Talks tab has some examples for students.

P. S. Call Emily for your personal live reading at 800 99 3 6 9 12 (from Eastern 1 p. m. to Eastern 1 a. m. at least, every day). Emily analyzes relationships in business situations and personal situations accurately from *Tarot, *intuitive, and *practical perspectives. Tarot Readings: Boyfriend (Knight of Cups)

He isn’t afraid anymore to make a public romantic commitment.

He is so self-assured, he isn’t afraid to be upfront about being attracted to you.

Avoids openly declaring his love, out of fear.

Going out of your mind because the boyfriend who seemed so committed left you.

He loves you in the physical reality, the real world, and he isn’t one of the crazies of your past.

A man who loves you and is your helper in the physical world gets you over the worst of it.

It’s a mistake to take the initiative romantically, and right to avoid it.

Tarot Readings: The Messed-up Boyfriend (Knight of Cups + Moon)

A fucked-up mellow guy can get you away from your normal life.

Just when you are putting this messed-up situation behind you, boyfriend comes to you to commit.

This boyfriend is a big mistake, he isn’t one of us normals.

Boyfriend problems are ending your normal life.

Loverboy is crazy, and you are headed away from safe ground.

Putting the dangerous world behind you with a nice safe loving boyfriend.

This isn’t the usual crazy normal boyfriend behavior.

I don’t hate him anymore, he’s just the usual #%&* boyfriend.

Tarot Readings: Helps (Knight of Cups)

Out of affection, he voluntarily helps out in mundane daily ways so you can avoid things being a mess.

With his assistance, things are as they should be, and the trouble is over with.

He comes to make things function normally when they are broken down, and then he is off.

He usually helps people get on their way when they break down on a trip.

When your delusional phase is over, you can be a help in the real world.

Tarot Readings: The Good Side

His good side is putting his bad side behind.

His good image was tarnished, but those days are over.

Getting over his distaste or fear of being a good boy.

We get off the wrong path at the suggestion of a devout friend.

Agrees to ‘do it by the book’ or cooperate with the rules and ‘be good,’ to get out of trouble.

Accepts the correct theology from the church, to avoid hell.

This is the wrong time to cooperate, and the right time to get out of there.

A good guy fights dirty, isn’t always ‘fit to print’ good.’

He is a truly decent person, having put a life of debauchery or crime behind him.

I’m not making the mistake of accepting that as proper anymore.

Tarot Readings: Getting Over It (Six of Swords)

Putting the harm behind that was caused by a friend with good intentions.

Getting over the (physical) death of a beloved person or pet.

He gets over his mental or physical illness (or addiction) and is a healthy (young) man.

Just when you are putting this messed-up situation behind you, boyfriend comes to you to commit.

In this peaceful atmosphere, he calmly accepts that the worst is truly over.

A friend comes to physically help you over the worst of it.

Getting over sickness with the physical help of a friend.

Your friend will get over the craziness and be okay.

He is being his public-relations self to get past the screwup.

Accept that normal life as you knew it was a delusion, and get over it.

Putting the dangerous world behind you with a nice safe loving boyfriend.

He is being polite and neutral until you get over your grieving.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

When you see Moon and Hierophant together, you know ‘Something’s up.’ Moon is the dark side, is abnormal; Hierophant is whatever is officially accepted as good and respectable, and means ‘normal.’ Neither of them will yield an inch on their respective territories.

Then you see Six of Swords. Whew. It means bad things are getting better, the worst is over (and Moon means ‘the worst’) and putting something (the vice of Moon) behind you for a better life.

Lastly, we have the helpful young man, also known as The Warm Puppy boyfriend or the friend (whereas one of Moon’s meanings is ‘enemy.’ He is polite and behaves himself, and Hierophant also means conventional, accepted behavior.

So right in the middle, we have the problem or the dark side, and surrounding it, we see ‘good stuff’: The good man, the good side, and things are getting better. That’s our story.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

Knight of Cups is civil and civilized. He is the good friend, the first to offer to help (and do it). He has an engaging personality and is outgoing (makes the first move, introduces himself). He is cute: See how he and the horse he rides in on are drawn in curved lines and colored in pastels?
Moon is when you’re lost, crazy, ill, grieving – the dark side and the worst of times. Moon is when nothing makes sense and you know it. Moon is the creepy atmosphere and bad spirits that infest it. Moon is bad magic and hell, and whatever is odious to us.

Hierophant is whatever’s fit to print … is ‘face.’ It is specifically about the public teachings of a religion (That’s the pope there in the red robe.) as opposed to its actual ones to cognoscenti. The same way righteous people present that moral ‘face’ to the world. The same way we all tell ourselves we are right and the world is wrong about us.

Six of Swords Better times are ahead because we are getting out of here, getting over this, putting that situation behind us. Leaving with the shirt on our back but looking ahead hopefully in the dismal fog.
