Guidance

Whether to stand up and defend and explain yourself, or a belief, or whether to just let it go and pretend you’re not really here: That is the question we don’t always think to ask ourselves. Don’t even think of explaining to those who ‘don’t want to hear that.’ That’s where we’re at today at least.

Could This Be You?

Picture this: You look at the cards in your spread.
You immediately get an idea because you know a few of them intimately.
AND you know a system that works because you have had a few

GUIDANCE Did you come here for Your Daily Predictions? Good! Guidance provides your predictions in a summary. It is the Guidance received for you through three Rider Waite Tarot™ cards, using Tarot Verbatim™.

GROUP TAROT READINGS Here are several one-sentence readings that are predictions for you and the people around you for today and the days around it. Here Tarot is talking to you: These sentences express word-for-word, verbatim, the meanings of those three Tarot cards. You choose which sentences apply to you, and you choose whether to encourage them or not.

SYNOPSIS Located right after the Group Tarot Cards Reading sentences, is a deeper expression of today’s Guidance. Read this too for your predictions. Here you complete your predictions experience. The rest of the page is more about learning to love and learn Tarot Verbatim™.

LEARN TAROT CARDS BY PICTURES Are you ready to begin learning Tarot Verbatim™? Here your in-depth meanings come alive for each of the three cards! In Tarot Verbatim™, pictures make the meaning, so each card is like a person you know and remember.

WITHOUT THE PICTURES For the true seeker of Tarot knowledge, here is what you need to know about how the three cards in today’s spread affect one another, and how to apply Tarot Verbatim™. Here too the cards come alive, together.

WHERE EACH PHRASE COMES FROM At a glance, with a color for each card, your subconscious picks up on how the sentences of GROUP TAROT CARDS READING came to be. You feel how individual card meanings reach out and blend, unite, into a sentence. (You can learn this – yes, you!) Your subconscious awareness sees the image and its feeling and your conscious awareness sees the language meaning, the text… so your two minds focus together to see 3D, three dimensionally, the same way your two eyes see depth that one eye does not.

PHRASES FOR ALL THREE TWO CARD COMBINATIONS Are you ready for the final step of this revolutionary Tarot Verbatim™ technique? Now to make it exceedingly plain and simple, we list the expressions each pair of cards makes. We list them in paragraph form rather than itemized so that they flow, and your subconscious clicks into place and ‘gets it.’ You may even find flashes of dreams or intuitive realities as you read these, at times.

The Rider Waite Tarot™ deck is a data bank in mass consciousness that your subconscious can communicate with. Tarot Verbatim™ is the Rosetta Stone that makes that communication easy because it is a bridge between conscious and subconscious thought. When both your levels of awareness focus together, you think intuitively in real time in ‘the real world.’

Bon voyage!

Tarot Readings : Star and Seven of Wands
Star Seven of Wands

He’s pushy and mouthy, and I’m oblivious.

I eloquently defend something I don’t believe in.

Fighting words there that you are overlooking.

That verbal battle just doesn’t count.

I told you he would make a scene, and you didn’t listen.

Under pressure, I promise, and then I forget.

So glad the pest isn’t present.

Encourage you to stand up for yourself and ‘Damn the torpedoes.’

Tarot Readings : Star and Fool
Star Fool

You forget the words, and struggle for them.

I don’t know what to say when they confront me.

Ignoring the high-pressure sales pitch.

Don’t worry, be happy – no matter what.

Say you don’t know when confronted.

So mouthy but he doesn’t listen to what you have to say.

Why bother to explain when they are ‘in your face’?

Doesn’t know what he’s talking about but how he protests.

Tarot Readings : Seven of Wands and Fool
Seven of Wands Fool

To hell with pushy people – I’m happy from the inside out.

I panic and forget to say “I love you.”

I try so hard to forget what I said.

I’m not a fighter, I’m funloving.

So glad I am not going to be put on the spot.

It’s hard to ignore such a glamour figure.

Whoa! – before you know it, you’re crazy in love.

I don’t know why, I’m just not ready for that kind of loving attention.

Synopsis

When you recover from a long sickness, colors and sounds are more intense and you feel vibrant. When an ordeal of turmoil finally blows over, you feel not just relief, you feel extra good all over – feel like celebrating just because the pest moved out – you know? We congratulate ourselves (and maybe our friends) like that today. Ding-dong, the wicked witch is dead, or we are in good shape now.

Star

Star

-As a Rider Waite Tarot card with few and clear meanings that derive from its illustration, Star is an anchor card. (An anchor card is one whose meanings are few and clear so that you look to it first in your spread because it is simpler and will take less time to read that spread using these anchor cards.)

Need to know: This is a picture of a shapely performer doing a ritual bath (ablution) and singing. She pours the contents of two pitchers into the bathing pond, which introduces the idea of blending (two are one). Star celebrates an exuberant feel-good-all-over vibration. (‘Good Vibrations’ is Star’s song; and Star can represent a singer or other performer.)

So, Star is a shapely woman, a glamour figure, a performer, one who speaks or sings, and is feeling good and looking good. Star is happy, joyous even. Glad.

Star of course is one of the speak/tell/say tribe members in Tarot Verbatim™. In its special niche there – in its special way. Star talks a lot (or too much); is mouthy or eloquent. Star means: words; verbal; tell; promise; what is said or what to say; sales pitch, publicity, press release; confess and ‘spilling your guts.’ The ‘feeling good’ part extends to excellent, vibrant, health.

Star is THE card for saying ‘I love you.’ Star encourages, praises, cheers and is a cheerleader. Star is ‘crazy about.’ Star is a fan, of course.

Star is happy, exuberantly happy, funloving, and so glad.

Seven of Wands

Seven of Wands

Two main sides to Seven of Wands: the defense and the offense. Think of Seven of Wands both as a drunk who demands the car keys and raises hell, and as mad-as-hell-and-won’t-take-that-anymore. All the Tarot cards apply in every side of the story they represent, but Seven of Wands is more blatantly obvious about this.

The story here is that his neighbors have banded together to take his property in a surprise attack, and he has one shoe and one boot on, and is in his night-dress. It’s six against one, and the rightful defender will win this battle (tradition, which goes along with the fact that in nature the defender usually wins). So you’re outnumbered but overcome and survive. (Or you’re being warned not to join in an attack.)

Here are some phrases Seven of Wands brings today that fall into the defender-of-the-turf’s category: fighting, battle, struggle for, no matter what, I try so hard, a fighter, stand up for yourself, defend something, it’s hard to, Whoa!, I’m just not ready for that.

Here are some phrases Seven of Wands bring today that fall into the intruder’s category: he would make a scene, they confront me, when confronted, so mouthy, they are ‘in your face,’ but he protests, he’s pushy or pushy people, I panic and, put on the spot, the pest. (Panic can be either category, really.)

Fool

Fool

Soo many diverse meanings to Fool. The Beatles even made a song about it. Remind yourself that Fool is the Zero, the ‘0’ in the number system, the cipher. The cipher has no value of its own (It’s a nothing.) but it alters the value of its neighbors drastically. So Fool isn’t there, is detached, doesn’t know, forgets, overlooks, is oblivious, ignores – anything like that.

It goes even further than that. Fool is absent. Fool doesn’t acknowledge; Fool isn’t (whatever), or indicates something ‘isn’t really’ (whatever). Here you get phrases like these and many more you would not think of: something I don’t believe in; just doesn’t count; ignoring; doesn’t listen; why bother; and you didn’t listen,’Damn the torpedoes’ or ‘to hell with it.’

Fool is young and optimistic – a blank slate. So Fool is the ‘Don’t worry, be happy’ groove. Not to worry is Fool’s main vibration, really. Because if you’re not paying attention, you’re not worrying – right?

Now Without The Pictures

Star and Seven of Wands can both be mouthy; Star in a good way – babbling, spilling guts, confessing, praising, encouraging, promising, saying ‘I love you,’ being the cheerleader; Seven of Wands in a bad (or baddish) way – protesting, demanding, raising hell, being pushy. But Seven of Wands can join Star in the promotion of something or someone: Seven of Wands can be on the soapbox promoting as well as on the soapbox protesting. Think of Seven of Wands as either pushing away or pushing for. Promotion or prevention!

Star and Fool are both very upbeat, optimistic, bubbly, happy-go-lucky.

So all three of our Rider Waite Tarot cards are moods.

Fool also disses – but blithely, because Fool is ‘water off a duck’s back.’ Nothing affects, impresses, or even gets the attention of Fool. Fool goes on his merry way. Think ‘What, me worry?’ as well as ‘Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn’ or ‘Damn the torpedoes; full speed ahead.’ All of those. Yup.

Fool is so mixed and unhitched that it can mean both faith and disbelief. Its faith is the assumption it is famous for; its disbelief is its congenitally open mind. Fools mind is totally open because it does not connect to, or connect anything to anything else. You could say fool, minute by minute, freshly goes on a case by case basis.

Fool’s judgment is suspended on everything all the time, pending further input until the day the young Fool expires, so Fool has no beliefs to defend. Seven of Wands is convinced, has allegiances, and leaps to their defense. Our story is about this choice we have on an hour-by-hour basis of whether to missionary or not. And whether to take offense or not notice.

Fool and Star describe the joy we feel when we are free of the confrontation (whether we won, lost, or ignored it). It’s the same intense spiritual please we feel when we have recovered from a more serious illness.

Seven of Wands and Fool say ‘It’s hard to ignore.’ They also say ‘Ignore the interruption’ or ‘Doesn’t even notice opposition.’

So our story is about rising above whatever gets in our way, whether we rise above before, or after, we engage it.

Our Daily Spread for January 15, 2012 Sunday©

Advice  Today we are into the study … yes, the study … of blarney, of blandishment, of b.s.  –  something we all encounter every time we turn on electronic media (print or spoken) or listen to our fellow humans.  Is the core of the earth a blarney stone, someone tell me?  We speak of being skilled at emitting and detecting propaganda.  We even speak of how the truth presented truthfully is such a bad fit for earthly environments that it is suspect … it is strange and weird, like the first time you tasted the booze you now savor.

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Advice (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Reading below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them.  They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Star

GROUP ANALYTICAL TAROT READING Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.

Blarney in Romance (Six of Wands + Star)

How does she trick me into loving her?

She is quiet and I am telling her all this stuff about how ‘I love you’: What has come over me?

Does she know what I’m up to when I talk love talk?

Is she wise to all my blandishments and blarney?

How can I get her to be crazy about me so I have control of her?

As soon as she suspects you are playing a game, tell the lady you love her.

He isn’t sure whether he is in love or just faking it when she keeps to herself.

How does she know when I’m bullshitting her?

How come she doesn’t say anything when I tell her my line that she’s wonderful?

When he tells you all these wonderful things, you know he is cheating with the other woman.

Expertise in Blarney (Six of Wands + High Priestess)

Who sponsored this wonderful study you are telling us about?

We are wise to possible motives of stuff that sounds too damn good.

She knows that they are hiding something because she asks questions.

She is an expert at sales pitches, so how should you know whether what she is saying is propaganda?

Somehow she knows how to talk to people to get them to go with the program.

Someone who is skilled at listening can somehow sense deceit.

An expert on propaganda questions the motive.

Certain tricky phrasing is a question mark to someone in the know.

She has a Ph. D. in b.s. because she has listened to so much of it.

How do you Know for Sure? (Page of Cups + High Priestess)

How do you know what is pretense, from just the words you hear?

How would you know when an expert is telling you lies?

How can I know that what we are reading and hearing is disinformation?

All this information about how wonderful things are is a big pretense, isn’t it?

Confuse Them with the Truth (Page of Cups + High Priestess)

When you tell them the whole truth they suspect you have an agenda.

In a crooked world, the whole truth seems too weird.

You can tell everything you know in such a way it seems disingenuous.

Explaining spiritual expertise sounds like trickery; it makes no sense.

You tell them everything in a scholarly way, explain it, and they still suspect you have some agenda, some bad motive.

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards,  by itself,  has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works.

Say hello back!  Comment!  I spend two hours a day or more writing these to you.  Remember to share your experience about our experiment here if you have words for it.  Read others’ comments.

And you can call me at the 800 99 3 6 9 12 number from Eastern 1 p. m. to Eastern 1 a. m. at least, every day.  (3-6-9-12 like a clock.  It makes a pattern on the phone as well –  easy to remember.)   I analyze business situations and personal relationships accurately from both Tarot and practical perspectives.  You enjoy it.  (Testimonials are on the web site.  https://EmilysInsight.com.)

Star
Page of Cups – Six of Wands – High Priestess

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

‘Tis a study in blarney (a polite word for b.s.) we have ourselves here. Who starts it? – well, Six of Wands, of course, encouraged by Star. Deceit and an agenda and a pretense is Six of Wands; Star is a lot of talk or a sales pitch.

To the left of this unit of expression is Page of Cups – silly, to question, to phrase the sentence in a question; to look or to be suspect. A suspicious character, as they say. To its right is the one who knows, the expert, information and truthful knowledge – also, to be quiet: High Priestess herself.

So we can’t help but be about a study (High Priestess) in questioning (Page of Cups) blarney (Star + Six of Wands).

LEARN TAROT BY THE PICTURES

Page of Cups The fellow dressed in women’s clothes, from whose cup a fish protrudes, stands for things questionable, suspect and/or ridiculous. Foolish boy. Here he is in the ‘question’ and ‘questionable’ zone of his spectrum.

Six of Wands There’s that politician! There’s that marketeer! There’s that grinning televangelist with his charity orphanage in Tibet! We see him for what he is because High Priestess, who knows, is right here. This is the pretense, the propaganda, the malicious deceit designed to destroy someone. This is the righteous campaign of the devils who are up to something.

The illustration is one from the Middle Ages when Tarot could get you tortured. It is about the betrayal of King Richard to the Arabs by someone who ruled in his stead for decades, a pretender to the throne. Pretenders to thrones are all over the place these days too.

High Priestess She who knows. The expert. Knowledge of the truth. Knowledge of spiritual matters. Knowing all and being still and quiet. The Lady. The feminine principle in the occult sense. These are the parts of her meanings we are using in today’s messages.

Her illustration shows a seated woman with a book in her hand which has the same letters you see on Wheel of Fortune. The Tora, Taro, Rota words. Mysteriously links Tarot with Torah, a Jewish sacred book. Occult symbols from the Kaballah, also Jewish, are behind her.

Star Today Star is about language, spoken or written. It isn’t singing in the shower today. Pouring out words: explaining, performing, bullshitting, issuing forth blandishment and blarney. Its illustration shows a performer singing and feeling good in a water (emotional) setting.

GROUP ANALYTICAL TAROT READING Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.
Bullying the Bully (Five of Swords + Six of Wands)
Making fun of abusers (praising them falsely) overthrows them.
Short-circuit the bullies’ games by explaining them.
Tell him you are making him quit the pretense.
Talk like you’re crazy about him and break up when he is feeling his most powerful.
Ever so bluntly expose the nasty attitude behind the way he acts.
Go along with the Bad Boy’s sweet talk and then dump him.
He is an actor playing a thug until the trigger is pulled!
He acts so tough, and a girl hits him so hard.
Out with this loudmouthed phony jerk.

Acts and Talks so Sweet (Star + Six of Wands)
Verbal bullying is a way to destroy without seeming to.
Says he was only pretending to jerk you around when you break up with him.
Acts (his) most adoring so (he) can rip you off in a divorce.
I got you under my thumb until I tell you we’re through.
Temper fits are his way of pretending he’s not bullying you.
He is such a good actor, the naïve people are in total shock when he takes them.
A really skilled con artist is loved until the very last devastating moment.
Being so warm and fuzzy and then breaking up with you is an act to control you.

Things Criminals Say (Star + Five of Swords)
When he is arrested, he says some other guy is the culprit.
Has himself convinced he isn’t a punk criminal until he is arrested for it.
The criminal presents false testimony about the shooting.
The bastard’s false testimony in the divorce.

Miscellaneous
It’s just part of the game, they smirk when you tell them off for cheating you.
Shocked when the tough-talking guy is a wannabe.
When the guy with the smirk says he is breaking up with you, it’s a game.

Tower
Star – Five of Swords – Six of Wands

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

Both Star and Six of Wands involve acting. Star is a (stellar?) performance, is saying your lines or sales pitch with gusto. Six of Wands is the other kind of actor, the person who is pretending to be something he or she is not.

When we add the next two cards, it turns a bit uglier. Five of Swords rips you off, is a punk, takes advantage, is nasty, smirks at you, and has the kind of control a bully has of others. Six of Wands, and it’s downright ugly now. Six of Wands is the deception, the pretense, pretending to be someone you’re not, pretending to be on their side so you can betray (rat on) them.

Tower is the shock, but is also the arrest! Tower is being overthrown, denounced, dispossessed, thrown out, destroyed or shot. I can’t say we lack action cards today!

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: LEARN TAROT BY THE PICTURES

Star Talks, acts, feels so good, is so happy, is adored and adores, enthusiastic. Rah-rah. Singing in the shower is the mood of Star, and its illustration shows someone pretty much doing just that. Today the focus is the ‘sales pitch’ end of it, in a darker-than-usual shade of this usually upbeat Rider Waite Tarot citizen.

Five of Swords He’s that abusive snotty boyfriend most of us cows have had at one time or another; a marvelous instructor to naïve souls (like Star) on the more demonic qualities of human nature. He is the mechanic or the bank or the satellite dish company that ripped you off and sneered self-righteously at you about ‘our procedures.’ He hath Mr. Cheney’s smirk, he does. Yes, he is the bully, the abuser, the Bad Boy – and not too elegant about it. In our illustration, he claims the land of his friends who had a play-sword-fight with him, as if it were a real duel.

Six of Wands is a sinister deceiver, not just the bully and the jerk Five of Swords is. Six of Wands is about the betrayal of King Richard to the Arabs (to be kidnapped for life) by his relative who became guardian king. Six of Wands is your codefendant being an undercover cop, you know. This is Bernie Maddox, this is the politicians – same respectable facade.

Tower That’s what we hope happens to the culprits we have been discussing, and that’s what they more likely do to us: shock, destroy, overthrow, arrest, devastating ruination. Illustration is the Tower of Babel, which means the bad guys will be overthrown. So, once again, all’s well that ends well.
