Two of Swords belongs to the Negator Club, and World is in a class (a world) of its own, unavailable to contact. But, we have drama: Six of Pentacles is an exchange, a fair exchange yet; Six of Pentacles means paying someone the attention they deserve. Note that Two of Swords + Six of Pentacles = World – to shut out, or to block, input.

…………………………..  Two of Swords – just like Four of Cups – is clearly saying ‘no.’ The picture is reminiscent of the railroad crossing signs in the U. S. – the ‘X.’ A woman in night dress sits with her back to a large body of water (mass consciousness, remember?). She is blindfolded. Her arms are crossed, and the way the heavy swords are balanced crosswise, putting them down whilst blindfolded would be risky. A seated female, metaphor-wise, suggests passivity; and this illustration resembles High Priestess, which means passivity. ‘Roadblock’ is a good word for this Tarot card. You’ve gone as far as you can go. Stop. No way to. Don’t. Yes, Two of Swords is one of the negators, one of the cards that cancels others’ meanings out with negative words, including merely ‘no’ and ‘not.’

…………………………..   Six of Pentacles is about exchanges, fair exchanges, and it’s a justice card too (those scales are a dead giveaway). The employer weighs to the gram the value of the gold in the coins, although he could get away with using their face values. Six of Pentacles is a study today: Negatively aspected – blocked, even – on both sides, its meanings are phrased negatively. …………………………..World card, she lives in a gated community of her own persona. She has a lot in common with Nine of Pentacles, another superior, competent, minds-her-own-business type. She has a lot in common with Fool too: They both live in the ethereal planes, and don’t pay much attention to the physical details down here. You can see elements in World of Wheel of Fortune too: the critters who are looking the other way. All three of these cards are about out-there stuff. World, physically, is the Babe: the shapely woman with the gorgeous curves – which reminds you of Star, and which Empress would be if she weren’t busy being pregnant at the moment. Okay. World is keeping the riffraff out by just being herself. (You can learn that, you know.) The esoteric meaning of World comes from ‘Master of Both Worlds,’ meaning an adept in both the houses of magic, an operator that repels the demons the same way you repel muggers when you have PMS and just wish they would, or when you perhaps have a gun in your bra.

Two of Swords ……….. Two of Swords ain’t havin’ any of that. Two of Swords is fuggetaboudit. Two of Swords is ‘No way’ and Two of Swords is ‘No,’ either as a one-word refusal or a negative modifier. Look for Two of Swords to refer to blocks, blocking, and shutting out – the same way World does. There’s an ‘X’ to it, and it resembles a railroad crossing totem. It is nighttime, and she is in a nightdress, blindfolded and sitting on a stone bench, her back to a large still body of water (passivity), as she holds two double-edged swords balancing one another in such a way she can’t put them down easily. The picture is drawn similar to High Priestess, who also means passivity.

Two of Wands …………. Two of Wands is you at this point in your life: You have enough disposable income to make a financial plan and to invest, and you have enough influence to feel secure. You are stable, in other words – even respected. Wealth and power is what is pictured here, but Two of Wands applies more to stability, a plan, foresight, and an overview. (It’s also a real estate card, but not today.) This isn’t just a financial card. You’ve got a grip on your world (See the globe in his hands?). Two of Wands is one of the cards that contributes future tense to your reading, and may translate ‘future’ at times.

Hanged Man………….Hanged Man is where the part of ourselves we are not in touch with reaches out and imparts a piece of its mind to ours. Realization, eureka, vision, insight, new perspective, enlightenment, inspiration, psychic impression – these disorient us in our ordinary day, but quite often are news about our ordinary day. Sometimes the package of information can be about spiritual matters, and sometimes the package is the ‘lipstick on the collar moment’ – is a whoosh of things we noticed, things we know, that we did not connect the dots on, and suddenly the dots are all arranged for us. Today, with Three of Wands and Two of Wands referring strongly to the future, the package is you viewing your future in a flash, which is what Hanged Man means, or on a continuing basis, since that is what Three of Wands means.
