Two of Wands      Well, there’s Donald Trump standing on the roof surveying his real estate empire and planning how to make even more from those renters in the upcoming quarter. Notice he’s got the world in his hands? Control, Baby, control. The future, foresight, planning, financial planning. Watch this card spit out the word ‘will’ quite regularly.

 

 

Ace of Wands      The biggie, the imperative, the one thing you gotta … do, have or make or must. This is the penis card and it means dominance, the most important, an order, and so on. Today it is ‘have to’ and ‘most important’ in most of the sentences.

 

Seven of Cups      Kaflooey and catywampus … the monkey wrench in the works … the 1% down there at the ends of the bell curve. The plan wrecker. Pieces of things, shattered, broken debris. This is an illustration of the shit hitting the fan if ever there was one. It is the Sorcerer’s Apprentice or Pandora’s Box story, both of which deal with mischief-making demons coming out and wrecking order.

 

Temperance       Deal with it. We are in this together. Hand-to-hand (anything). A barefoot angel stands in water and dilutes wine by pouring it from one cup to another. He has a healing symbol on his chest (I read somewhere). The card could be better. It stands in Tarot Verbatim ™ mainly for ‘dealing with’ and ‘close relationship’ as well as for intimacy and communication back and forth, reciprocating, being together, or being together on some issue or point. It is hand-to-hand; it is back-and-forth about ‘most anything.

This is another session on capitalizing upon adversities. Two of Wands is your world view when you are on top of things. Its presence is a clear indication that the battle referred to ends that way. And Six of Swords means getting over it, heading off in a different direction, putting something dismal behind you – another indication you survive whatever the challenge is that the other two cards address.

The combination of Seven of Cups and Five of Swords describes a battle or severe challenge. Seven of Cups is about Pandora’s Box or Sorcerer’s Apprentice, about the release of spirits of chaos. Five of Swords is being taken advantage of, being bullied, fighting something or someone, beating (whatever) and being ripped off. It is a nasty guy with a smirk, maybe a swagger, definitely a hardass.

Seven of Cups Pandora’s Box or Sorcerer’s Apprentice are both about the release of spirits of chaos, which our illustration shows. Seven of Cups is the shit hitting the fan, is Situation Normal All Fucked Up, is chaos, confusion, your demons, being dazzled, bullshitted, confused, mind-boggled or just amazed or shocked.

Five of Swords is being taken advantage of, being bullied, fighting something or someone, beating (whatever) and being ripped off. It is a callous guy with a smirk and a nasty attitude, maybe a swagger, definitely a hard-ass. Or it’s beating what torments you. He is ripping off his friends’ swords in the days when the swords also meant their land, so this card can mean a thief, or thieving, just not today.

Six of Swords Leaving at dusk under a gray sky, with no baggage, huddled with a child in an open paddle boat, escaping some disaster with help from the fellow who is paddling. Six of Swords means getting over it, heading off in a different direction, putting something dismal behind you, and also heading in a different direction. Its main indication is things will be better, the worst is over … mostly because it can’t get any worse.

Two of Wands is your world view when you are on top of things. Its presence is a clear indication that a battle ends that way. The banker is above it all, and he’s got the whole world in his hands, see? He is up looking down, is bigger than his world down there. He is in control. His life is stable, he is a solid citizen. He has an overview and an outlook: These are the factors in the illustration that bequeath the ‘future’ meanings, and the fact that this card often supplies future tense to others, and often translates ‘will’ in front of a verb.

The difference is that Two of Wands is the solid citizen in control of what he views, and Page of Pentacles observes – is more the young person or student.

Seven of Cups is disparate items, unrelated and unassorted stuff or debris, and is about anything out of control, disorderly and scattered.

Two of Wands is in control. So is King of Swords: He is the dictator, the strong man, the soldier or man of discipline – or policeman. Sometimes, the coldhearted tyrant.

Our story revolves, therefore, around control: Three of the four Rider Waite Tarot cards, in Tarot Verbatim (TM) involve that concept. The overall saga is a man handling an out-of-control situation so that things are secure. It also is about a man whose controlling nature is out of control.

Seven of Cups This are shattered, fractured, broken up, scattered and disparate, unassorted … out of control, mainly. The illustration fits both Pandora’s Box and Sorcerer’s Apprentice stories. The bad spirits are out and mischief is afoot.King of Swords Is the leader of the man pack, the strong man. He can be the disciplined soldierly type or he can be the coldhearted controlling dictator. He is enforcement too, of any kind – not just police. He is the ‘tall dark and handsome’ man of lore.Two of Wands has the world in his hands; stands on the ramparts of his castle roof contemplating what he will do with his real estate empire below. Did you come here just for your predictions? – If so, you are done when you finish reading the sentences of Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading.

Each Tarot sentence is a literal-interpretation reading of the scenes pictured on the four cards you see. Only what each of the cards says – phrase by phrase – no fillers – no psychic ability used. The readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. Tarot, all by itself, talks to you. This is a demonstration of that .

Tarot will address any group flexibly, as it does here of ‘all the visitors.’ (It can address ‘all the people at work who have a say in my raise,’ for instance, without you knowing who or where those people are.)

Horoscopes are group readings too.

Astrology has to be based on someone else’s birth data, though, so it does not solidly apply to you just because of where the sun was when you were born. (Astrologers know this.)

Emily wants to know whether these sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than for people who have come only a few times. Would you help with a comment, if that is who you are? Please?

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no, never or not.’ That negative modifier can apply to any one of the cards.

Without a question also the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute.  Notice how, as much as possible, we drop pronouns, which makes for some awkward phrasing.

The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information! In a ‘real’ reading, the parties are identified (including the gender of the questioner!), and so is the time frame if there is one. In this group reading, we cannot do that, so we have variety.
