Today we have one of those odd questions: What is the occupation of a man she has not met yet, that Tarot predicts she will meet. Not too many occupations are depicted in our deck (carpenter, architect, religious positions, nobility ...) so a description is what we get.

How can you do the things you read here with Tarot, you may wonder. Let me briefly show you what I feel happens. Children before they learn to talk people-talk use their whole brain including what becomes the subconscious when learning language submerges the rest of their consciousness. They know things! We think in language after age 2 or so, and language restricts our thinking with these designations, names for things, and categories … those boxes.

At least part of the subconscious operates and files information by emotion and images. Tarot operates as a Rosetta Stone: It has pictures which have some emotional tone, and the pictures have meanings in language attached to them, and to parts of them.

The reason I have pictures of Tarot all over this site is that: Your subconscious is looking at them. With practice, you get the knack of the new language and how to interpret it into the old language.
