Four of Pentacles – He sits outside of town (something to hide, a secret) staring straight ahead, alone (He doesn’t want to talk about this, it’s private), holding onto money for dear life (he’s near broke, is stingy or cheap, is on a budget), hugging himself (feeling inadequate, in need of comfort). The emphasis in Four of Pentacles is internal life (and therefore internal organs), inadequacy, and deep private feelings – the ‘deep down inside’ phrase. He is hunkered down, doesn’t want to hear something, is laying low, sulking, possibly cringing in cowardice, is inferior in some position or way. Deep feelings are featured. And not necessarily these bad feelings; Four of Pentacles can just indicate some feeling named by other cards is deep.
Complex illustration that applies several ways, here. Four of Pentacles is called the Miser, commonly, as he hangs onto his coins for dear life. That brings this Four of Pentacles card all sorts of money phrases like today’s: budget, when you have money, not get much, stingy, and ‘it’s all mine.’ Being broke or short of money suggests being short in other ways, so Four of Pentacles uses words like ‘unworthy’ and ‘inferior.’
Four of Pentacles is hugging himself as he hunkers down and stares straight ahead, numbing out. This posture bring this card meanings about not talking, keeping a secret, not admitting, keeping quiet, not telling, not saying anything, and a hug. The posture that suggests holding it in also brings ‘internal’ words and phrases like these: internal, a feeling, heartfelt, deep feelings, deep faith, wholeheartedly, and knowing.

Occasionally, with other cards establishing the theme, Four of Pentacles is ostracized, is the misfit who is left out of the social circle.
Ace of Cups – Set in this financial theme, Ace of Cups’ wings are clipped. (Google ‘Ace of Cups Tarot Verbatim’ if you are researching this card here.) Today Ace of Cups is mainly easy, so easy, and easier. It also is love, loved ones, love life, true love, and loving.

Cooperation and peace appear once each. Healing and good health appear once each. Cooperation comes from the flow of the water. Peace comes from the holy dove diving into the fountain of human awareness in the illustration.

Ace of Cups means ‘good.’ In good shape, in good health, a good person. That is how healing becomes one of its words. Ace of Cups is the main card for God.
Three of Wands – Three of Wands is an easy one: You can see he is waiting for his ship to come in even though some printer left the sky and the water yellow. He is waiting, which makes Three of Wands one of the ‘future’ cards, one of those cards that adds future tense to others and often translates: will, will be, and going to.
