Tarot Readings for You for August 3, 2013 Saturday(c)

by

Guidance      There is a disconnect between the doing of something designed to achieve our purpose, and the purpose being achieved. You sometimes get paid without doing anything, and sometimes do the work and don’t get the profit. Our assumption about cause and effect is not necessarily the way it happens. Reminder to get enough sleep on a road trip, too.

Instructions: Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!

People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.

.
If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ is a summary of what the cards are generally advising visitors to be aware of that day. ‘Tarot Readings’ is the actual word for word messages to everyone. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself. THEN, the family of commenters here would love for you to join in.

Tarot Readings: No Further Action (Four of Swords and Magician)

Already done what accomplishes the project; it just hasn’t happened yet.

You have already arrived based on past performance: It’s coming.

I have already done the project but it won’t be making money for a while.

Money will come based on what you are doing. You don’t have to do anything else.

You don’t have to do anything about this; he has already taken care of it.

Choose to continue to not act, not respond, in order to serve your purpose.

He is a success and he didn’t do a darn thing.

Money comes to you/him that is passive income – you are/he is not the person who did anything for it.

You are going to succeed as long as you don’t do (that).

Make myself stay there for the money.

What you can’t do yourself, you will still get done.

He makes income without accomplishing anything.

It will be your choice whether you do anything or not.

Here’s the master at passive income – he doesn’t do anything.

Tarot Readings: Not Getting Paid (Three of Wands and Four of Swords)

He decides to do it without being paid.

He makes himself a success without any income being involved.

He is a self-made man who already had an income.

You are choosing to do what isn’t bringing you money.

Money isn’t everything; there’s the skill of pulling it off, too.

I would do it even if I weren’t paid, for the mastery of it.

Tarot Readings: Choosing to Not Do Anything (Chariot and Four of Swords)

He decided he will not be doing anything, will not be participating.

He will decide not to do it.

Choose not to do anything for a while.

Choose to retire when you have made enough money.

What you can’t do yourself, you will still get done.

He makes income without accomplishing anything.

Success, to him, is money; he is indifferent to what he does for it.

Tarot Readings: About a Vehicle (Chariot)

He will continue to do nothing about the vehicle.

The vehicle will not move until something is done.

You will not get the money for the car – he will not pay you.

There will be no action about the vehicle.

He makes himself sleep in the vehicle to get there.

Keep driving but make yourself sleep.

He did something to his vehicle so that it would not be functioning.

Miscellaneous Tarot Readings

He is not going to succeed at what he is doing.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

This is an example of a spread with a spoiler card – in this case, Four of Swords, which means to not do or to not participate. Chariot is to get it done, and Magician is doing it. Three of Wands is the continuation of doing it, as well as the profit or money that comes in from the doing.

So we come up with contradictory messages you have to scratch your head and choose from. The messages that say you have already done what brings in the reward contrast with those that say you are not doing it for the money. Putting it all together, we are talking about the fact that there is a disconnect between the doing and the pay or reward, that sometimes you get money without doing much of anything, and sometimes you put yourself out and do things that you don’t get money or reward for.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

Three of Wands is your ships coming in, in a good way. The businessman stands on shore looking at the ships coming toward him that bear his money and his new merchandise. The payoff is a fact.

Chariot is willpower, is the skill of getting the project accomplished using all available means, even using the factors that are against success to fuel success. The Rider Waite Tarot illustration has this fellow managing sphinxes with his wand to pull his vehicle, sphinxes who want to go in opposite directions.

Four of Swords is not doing, not participating, not interested, retirement, sleep, being dormant, resting up. The knight candidate is to do a vision quest meditating in the cathedral all night lying on the stone sarcophagus of some great saint or hero. Time out.

Magician is doing it, the doing of it, action, bringing about the desired result. Along with the Chariot it means ‘getting the job done.’ The Rider Waite illustration shows the magician with his arm up in the air using the tools of his trade to bring down the desired action. This card’s core meaning is ‘the principle of action.’ It is the male principle esoterically, as High Priestess is the female principle.

EXPLANATIONS:

All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim(TM).

In these group readings, there’s no question (and no Questioner) to limit what the four cards can mean, so they can mean opposite things.

When there is a negative-meaning card (a ‘negator,’ I call them), the readings contradict one another because that card can make any of the other cards in the spread negative. Negator cards mean things like: no, never, not, end, can’t, etc. Never be queasy about the number of ‘bad’ card because it takes two bad cards to say ‘not dead’ and only one to say ‘dead.’

Without a question or a Questioner, pronouns (I, you, he, she, we, they, etc.) are very flexible. I leave out pronouns in writing this as much as possible – awkward to do that sometimes. When I put them in parentheses, feel very free to change them around to suit yourself.

Now in a ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question which provides at least half the information! In an individual’s reading, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading, we cannot do that and so we get more variety of sentences.
Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers want you to know this!)

Tarot successfully addresses the group of visitors, whoever they are. It provides useful information that applies to their daily lives: They tell you this in the comments, for three years now. Tarot can tell you things about people you don’t know personally – such as whoever on your job has a say in your raise or continued employment there, whether that is one person or many. Visitors report that the information is equally accurate for new visitors as it is for the family of regular visitors.

Do you want to read Rider Waite Tarot, yourself? Start with Learn Tarot by Pictures to get the day’s cards’ individual meanings; then read Learn Tarot by Observation, which gives you the thinking those four cards inspire in a qualified reader. Next, Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading is the various things those four cards can say (without a question to guide them). Then, Guidance is a summary.

In this way, your intuition allows you to learn to read the cards without much effort if you come often enough. Regular visitors can just put it together.
