LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING
It’s another guy day – and it’s all about us guys! Two of our Rider Waite Tarot citizens are fellows who take the initiative.
Knight of Cups is the good-natured man who is friendly, takes initiative, has a message or suggestion, and accepts you. (Salesman talents.) Magician primarily means a man who takes initiative, makes the first move, takes action.
The other two cards, in the Tarot Verbatim ™ system, both mean ongoing, continuing actions or processes. Two of Pentacles also means sporadic, on-again off-again processes, and refers to movement (up and down, back and forth, etc.). It also refers to clowning around or acting silly.
Three of Wands is continuing, steady (as in steady income), approaching, the future, and profit or money coming in.
Put them all together, and here’s a friendly fellow who, by taking friendly initiative, makes money or makes a good social future for himself … because Knight of Cups is the boyfriend or is a friend.
These four cards together headline: Your guy is taking the initiative and will follow up for a continuing relationship. The guy is making money too.

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things, especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!
