In the same way that we collect skills and we collect pictures of ‘the way things are’ as we serve our time on the third planet from the sun, we also collect personal scenes imbued with one emotion or the other.
These memories are strung together in our personal mental neighborhood. We stroll through, stopping here and there, pretty much randomly.
There’s one set of these emotional scenes that are useful to us if we no longer randomly stroll but stop at their addresses: The most precious and most meaningful memories, the beautiful ones.
Revisit them. Move into them. Refresh and recycle them right where you are now. Repeat them in the current minute regularly.
