Five of Swords is ripping off his buddies, taking advantage of them. The story is, he intimidates the friends he was sparring with, practicing swordplay. He is keeping their swords by claiming they were really duelling with him. The swords could represent their rights of inheritance to the family estate if they are the son of knights.
