Guidance We feel our way through transitions. A generation shifts gradually from one style of living, one set of inborn beliefs, to another … just as an individual gradually changes his ways (‘cleans up his act’) or departs from established regimen. Tarot’s message parallels these transitions with a job change one. Our focus is particularly on the facade of morality and on the status quo: We are about changes for the better in both the individual and the group life.

Eight of Pentacles
Six of Swords – Hierophant – Three of Wands

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING
Six of Swords and Three of Wands refer to a hopeful future. Six of Swords, future will be better because you are escaping out of something awful. Three of Wands, you have laid the foundation and are profiting from that past activity or work: Your ship is coming in, which could be literally money and profit, or other good things that you deserve.
Three of Wands and Eight of Pentacles have a continuing process in common. In Three of Wands, you are waiting for an approaching benefit. In Eight of Pentacles, you are steadily doing something or working.
‘The rank-and-file workers’ Hierophant + Eight of Pentacles says. Both of these cards in Tarot Verbatim ™ have to do with with a normal ordinary routine. Hierophant emphases ‘the usual’ and Eight of Pentacles emphasizes repetitive actions.
Right in the middle is Hierophant. It speaks of ordinary, the real physical mundane aspect (of anything), surface official considerations (like the public version of any organization as opposed to what the insiders know).
No surprises in Hierophant, nothing harmful and nothing glamorous, just the usual status quo of conforming to safe acceptable practice. Hierophant is the approval, the good recommendation. It is also the old order, established protocol. It’s ‘okay’ too.
As often happens when a spread contains a card that in Tarot Verbatim™ means to go from one (whatever) to another – such as our Six of Swords here – you make divergent meanings when you operate as we do here without a question and with no specific Querant (questioner). So today we are leaving either the old established ways behind, or we are leaving our past behind and cleaning up our act, going straight. And we are either an individual (of either gender) or a group.
We are also either leaving a job or getting ourselves a better job (or both), thanks to the work connection with Eight of Pentacles.
This particular set of cards in Tarot Verbatim ™ equates these different transitions. Curious, you agree?

I N S T R U C T I O N S & Explanations
Did you come here just for your predictions? – If so, you are done when you finish reading the sentences of Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading.
Each and every one of those sentences is a literal-interpretation reading of the four cards pictured next to them. Only what each of the cards says, phrase by phrase – no fillers. The readings are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. They are a demonstration that Tarot, all by itself, no psychic ability used, communicates to you.
Horoscopes are group readings too.
Astrology has to be based on someone else’s birth data, though, so it does not solidly apply to you just because of where the sun was when you were born. (Astrologers know this.)
Tarot is perfectly capable of addressing any group flexibly, as it does here of ‘all the visitors.’ It can address ‘all the people at work who have a say in my raise,’ for instance, without you knowing who or where those people are.
We wonder whether these sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than for people who have come only a few times. Would you help us with a comment, if that is who you are?
Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things, especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no, never or not.’ That negative modifier can apply to any one of the cards.
Without a question also the pronouns (you, him, her, me us, them, they, etc.) in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. Notice how, as much as possible, we drop pronouns, which makes for a little awkward phrasing.
The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information! In a ‘real’ reading, the parties are identified (including the gender of the questioner!), and so is the time frame if there is one. Here, we cannot do that, so we have variety.
Now, about Part Two, where you see how it’s done and even learn it.
Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,
*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread – the pictures above here. It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.
*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures. It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say. It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.
You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works. Regular visitors actually learn to read Tarot verbatim without trying.
