Moon and Three of Swords are bad news even in a 14-card spread. in a 4-card spread ‘this is not good.’ Moon is called ‘the worst card in the deck.’ ‘Worst’ is one of its meanings, of course. It instructs the reader to accentuate the negative in cards it aspects. It refers to ‘malignant’ as well as any nasties. Lying and any other vice.
Three of Swords is a divorce card, also meaning (of course) any kind of separation, as well as the bad feelings that go along with divorces and splits, including but not limited to hate, malice and spite, and hurting. It means injury, trauma, surgery, cuts, pain and any heart trouble too.
Well, that’s the bad news. The good news is the other two Rider Waite Tarot cards. Page of Wands is being in good physical shape, being good-looking, being the good guy or person with the good reputation, and putting one’s best self (‘foot’) forward. It also means speaking, saying, etc. and ‘physical.’
Lovers means connecting, contacting, being next to or together with, being the lover or associate or partner of. The guardian angel there brings protection and a view from ‘above’ into our picture.
Yes, some of the sentences appear in more than one category. The headings were difficult to do – distinctions to be made, to make things clear at first view for you readers not to get bogged down in bad stuff. I left out some subjects that, unless there is a question to that effect, are irrelevant. Like murder and dementia – those sorts of things.

Three of Swords shows a stylized heart pierced by knives, storm clouds surrounding it.
