Our Daily Spread June 5, 2011

Today’s Question is Tell us something about our main problem.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a group question? Phone me up. – Emily

Advice, when we ask about a main problem, is about women not having enough money to rear children. It is about women not being able to get out of the house because of a kid they cannot afford a babysitter for – grandma, even. It whispers that women don’t have or abort babies they can’t afford to support. It also speaks of immature men who are kids themselves, and women who are bitchy due to this stress.

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below. At least one of those sentences has something to say to you. Pick those out. They are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. (It is a group message like a horoscope, except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data, so it can be specific, accurate, detailed and direct. Our experiment here is “How much more accurate is it?”)

The Question for weekdays is: “Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.”

The Question for weekends is stated right on top on those days.

(Some days are ‘keep an eye open for’ and some days are ‘green light, go fast.’)

*Go to Advice to apply what those sentences say (in the best way) for you. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.) Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Meanings and Illustrations: Observation of the Spread

The first spread of our weekend was about the husband, King of Wands, and the family, Ten of Cups. Today’s, the second day, is about the wife, Queen of Wands and a child. We asked about main problem(s). There is not much to this spread, I stretched as far as I could to get us some sentences. We have the wife, the child, not enough (money, usually) and then the edgy, unfulfilled or bitchy/angry woman.

Queen of Wands and Queen of Swords could be an older woman and her adult daughter.

Queen of Swords is missing, mourning, deprived, even bitter and bitchy. Four of Pentacles is to not have enough, or not be enough of.

Queen of Wands is associated with the house, and Sun is getting out of the house.

Meanings and Illustrations: Individual Rider Waite Tarot Cards

Queen of Wands is the wife, the sensible woman, the woman of the house – the house mother. She is in charge, things are in order. She is happy with her cat and her sunflower on her lion throne, a very even-tempered good neighbor.

Sun is a kid having fun, is leaving the house, is a brat, playboy or immature guy. A child, often a boy.

Illustration is a child who sneaked out of the house to play, nude, on a wicked pony. Kid has a huge banner that someone his age could not handle anyway in his left hand, and his right hand is also outstretched. One of the meanings of this card is, of course, ‘reckless.’

Four of Pentacles is short of money, is short changed in some department, is inhibited or withdrawn. This is all about ‘not enough.’ Illustration shows a fellow holding onto his money for dear life.

Queen of Swords doesn’t have enough; she is deprived. Her baby died, and she is missing him, is feeling very negative about this. Even angry. Unfulfilled. Illustration shows a stern-looking woman with her left hand out and in her right a huge sword upright and clutched so as to balance it.
