Professional Tarot Training Lesson: The ‘relief card’

by

The ‘relief card’ is a major thing to learn as one becomes sophisticated in the use of the Tarot. That is the card that you look for when ‘bad’ cards show up – the one that limits or negates or modifies the ‘bad’ card. Eventually you learn that nightmares are really adventures, and you repackage and relabel all sorts of stuff, all sorts of experiences.

Some people are born adventurers, some people learn it. Learning it is fun for some and painful for some but after you learn it, by golly, you are a person you would want to meet.

(And yes these cards also limit other cards too. It’s just they are so welcome when they show up next to Ten of Swords type Tarot citizens!)
