This is Tarot Verbatim’s modified Celtic Cross spread, originally designed to, in six spreads, use each of 78 cards.  When I did this, I noticed ‘3 sentences,’ with the last being the three-card outcome.  The second, of course is the three cards below that, which Tarot spreads refer to as ‘the tower’ because this spread originally sprang from Celtic outdoor structures which had meaning for those people.  The rest of the cards, the beginning part, is referred to as ‘the cross’ because, again, of outdoor structures.

.

Celtic Cross spreads, as you can see, have positions that cards’ meanings apply to. This is the standard way most Tarot readers read Tarot. (They pay less attention to the meanings cards have in common than Tarot Verbatim™ does.)

.

These positions suggest reading a clump of the cards together (Self-Cover-Cross, or as I think of it, Self-Situation-Problem is the first clump. Then you do the ‘arms of the cross, which are the horizontal and vertical pairs of ‘the cross.’

.

The question here is from the executor of a murdered man’s estate. Things are a mess, and Client has been threatened a lot, and had a lot of theft. Client’s belief is that the deceased may be helping out with the situation, which is really about Deceased’s business and life rather than Client’s. (Yes, I have permission to post this to you.)

.

Here is the answer these 13 cards say: I am seeking a way to be helpful to you (I love you), and I know all about the disasters, but good times are ahead because I have the power to make good things happen.

With nothing further being done, success and money are guaranteed.

You are being taken advantage of by friendly enemies, and I am taking charge of this, taking maximum advantage of the disadvantages to succeed so the situation is under control and bad times are over, and good times are ahead: That’s where it’s heading.

.

FIRST SENTENCE, THE CROSS:

Self- Cover- Cross or Self-Situation-Problem:

Hermit, Page of Pentacles x Knight of Cups

Hermit – “I am seeking a way

Knight of Cups – to be helpful (I love you)

Page of Pentacles – and I know all about

Behind – Ahead (horizontal pair)

Tower – Three of Wands

the disasters

but good times are ahead –

Foundation – Future (vertical pair)

because I have the power to make good things happen.

King of Pentacles – I have the power

Wheel of Fortune – to make good things happen.”

.

.

SECOND SENTENCE, THE TOWER:

2nd Self Card – Situation or Others – Turning Point or Hopes & Fears

Four of Swords – Ace of Pentacles – Ace of Wands

2nd Self Card, Four of Swords – With nothing further being done,

Situation or Others – Ace of Pentacles – success and money

Turning Point/Hopes & Fears – Ace of Wands – are guaranteed.

.

.

OUTCOME (3 CARDS IN TAROT VERBATIM)

Two of Cups – Chariot – Six of Swords

Two of Cups – You are being taken advantage of by friendly enemies

Chariot – and I am taking charge of this, taking maximum advantage of the disadvantages to succeed so the situation is under control

Six of Swords – and bad times are over, and good times are ahead: That’s where it’s all heading.

.

.

Here Are the Theme Cards

Hermit and Page of Pentacles, the first and second cards, both mean: I know and I am watching. Hermit and Knight of Cups both mean being helpful, being devoted, and having affection. Client is reassured from the beginning of these messages, you can see.

In the first Sentence (the cross part), both Future cards mean good things happening and both refer to money. Three of Wands is the future and money coming in and good things ahead. Wheel of Fortune is ‘happening’ and is a wonderful thing happening (even a miracle). It’s also destiny and fate.

.

Two of Cups, the ‘just past’ card in the third sentences

Tower is the Behind or just past card, and it means disaster in the first sentence. Two of Cups is friendly enemies taking advantage in the third sentence. Both refer to the same set of circumstances, of course.

.

Quite a few cards speak of a good future, money, success, and victory: Three of Wands, Wheel of Fortune, Ace of Pentacles, Chariot, Six of Swords.

.

This reading is clear and emphatic. Good for Client!

.

.

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

Ace of Wands

Ace of Pentacles – Ace of Cups – Ace of Swords

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Ace of Swords and Ace of Wands have a lot of meanings in common as you can see from illustrations. A hand grasps a sword or a board.

Common meanings include: Win, number one, must (got to), force or ‘have to,’ threat, victory, armed, a weapon, overcome, for sure or certain or definitive.

In addition, Ace of Swords means champion, award, undoubted defeat of the opponent, power, military, and a crown.

In addition, Ace of Wands means sex, especially regarding males, means ‘male’ or a penis (as in a male newborn), to hit, and suggests something is brutish or brutal. It’s a blunt instrument, and assault, too. It can mean emphatic, absolute and absolutely.

.

The other two Aces have a lot in common too, but there’s more variety to their meanings. They both are about being right, with Ace of Pentacles actually meaning ‘right’ and ‘right path’ and ‘the right way to.’ Ace of Cups means to be good, good, to go along with or cooperate, beneficial, and God or God’s (helpful) presence.

In addition, Ace of Pentacles means money (and funds and funding), to possess money, possess or possession of anything, valuable, precious, expensive, perfect and ‘the best.’ It also means road, route, street or way (including ‘on your way’). See the street? See the hand holding, possessing, money?

In addition, Ace of Cups means female, love, kindness, no harm is done, harmless, pure, easy, easy way, help, comfortable, and a flow. Flow includes leak, and includes the flow of any bodily fluid. Ace of Cups is definitely the good guys. The illustration is from the European Roman Catholic era when churchy things were added to deflect the wrath of the religious powers. The dove and the wafer represent God, flowing through the five senses or five ‘humors’ of a human, and flowing out blessing the world. In practice, this is a main love card.

.

Ace of Pentacles (perfect) and Ace of Cups (true love) together are perfect love. With Ace of Cups meaning ‘easy,’ these two cards say: easy money, easy way to, the easiest route. Perfect comfort, too.

So Ace of Cups refers to the presence of God or being a loving godly person, and Ace of Pentacles shows that ‘right path’ that mystics and religions talk about.

.

Ace of Pentacles and Ace of Swords, with Ace of Pentacles meaning perfect, and success, and ‘right’ say: got to be perfect, ‘pinnacle of success’ and ‘make (them) do it right’ or ‘it’s got to be right.’

.

Love conquers all with Ace of Cups and Ace of Swords.

.

Ace of Cups is female and Ace of Wands is male. These two cards together indicate what I call ‘the Mother Nature sex bond.’ It happens when two people smell very good to one another and are, therefore, genetically opposite from one another. Mother Nature’s quest for healthy young causes a tremendous sexual attraction between two such mammals. This attractions gives humans that ‘soul mate’ or ‘counterpart’ kismet, destiny, The One, notion. The energy of the attraction causes a certain (not comfortable) pattern in the relationship of the involved humans. Animals, being wiser, just enjoy it and raise a family.

.

Ace of Cups’ illustration stylizes the concept of love itself, and is from feudal times when the Roman Catholic tradition was life itself in the West. That bowl concept is the thing Ste. Teresa d’Avila is famous for expounding upon. The dove and the wafer refer to the presence of God as love. The flows represent the five senses and five bodily fluids as that era conceived these things. This card represents female love.

Here are the words and phrases that appear in our sentences today for Ace of Cups, not repeating any:

*love, loves to be, lover

*cooperation, cooperate, accept, agree, agreement, go along with,

*easy, easier way

*health, good health

*God

*the comfortable thing

*flow

Ace of Swords is the weapon, is victory achieved against something or over something, by force: As we say ‘a gun to my head.’ Enforcement is force applied to ‘them’ or ‘it.’ Its force has more of a righteous championship flavor than the Ace of Wands, who is just ‘bigger than you.’ Illustration is the hand with the sword crowned with the trappings of victory – crown and laurel leaves. Here are its words and phrases, some shared with Ace of Wands:

*comes first, premier, winning first place, win/being the best, winner, to conquer,

*have to, has to, makes, against force, make them, got to be/the very, forced to/the only, requirement,

*guaranteed, absolutely, absolute

Ace of Wands is the herd bull idea of right, as in “I’m gonna make you do it because I’m da boss, I’m bigger than you.” The macho attitude is expressed by the board in the hand – a big stick that resembles a penis in the drawing.

Here are its phrases, some of which are shared with the Ace of Swords:

*comes first, premiere/requirement, winning/first place, absolute/winner, win,

*have to make, required, absolutely/have to, the one thing/you gotta do, has to be, got to be/the very, just one way/have to, have to get __, has to have, make them, the one thing/got to have, force, forced to, absolutely/must,

*sex (bond), sexual,

*against,

*guaranteed

*the only, the one thing,

*absolute,
