Tarot Readings for You for January 14, 2015 Wednesday©
GUIDANCE Unremittingly we are aware of things we are doing, will be doing, and the priorities of these things. We are subliminally aware of them too, and that can be a drag on our days. In somewhat the same way, we are aware of things to say, things we have to say, and things we say over and over again. We can get tired of this without quite realizing it too. The point of today’s messages is simply to be aware of this fact as a factor in our lives.
.
Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!
People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.
If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ (above) is a summary of what the cards are telling visitors to be aware of this day.
‘Group Tarot Cards Reading’ (just below this) is the actual word-for-word messages from the pictures of the three cards you see – to everyone. These readings are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.
Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow. The family of commenters here would love for you to join in (the very last thing, at the bottom).

Now, Part Two,
Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,
*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined meanings of the three cards in the pictures in the Tarot Readings. It explains how these cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONSis a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.
*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures. It is what each of the cards, by itself, has to say. It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.
You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.
This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – than a personal reading would give you. Also, pronouns are flexible: If the sentence feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ but you’re a ‘she,’ well, it’s yours.
*AND if you write names of any two cards into the Google search bar, it will give you meanings of those!

Eight of Wands – Ace of Wands – Eight of Pentacles

………………….
…………
………… I have to do things, sometimes several things at once. I have to say things, sometimes say them over and over. ‘You gotta do what you gotta do,’ each and every one of those items on the list. They mount up, and part of them involves employment too. They mount up as we push them into the background of our awareness, as we brush them off, and act as a damper on our daily mindset. Today’s mission is to remind ourselves of this as a factor in daily life, with an eye toward taking the pressure of it off. (Tomorrow’s messages will address this ‘taking the pressure off,’ I think.)
………………………….. Eight of Wands is one of the cards whose illustration could better match the meanings it functions as. Oh, well. You see one board after another flying through the air headed earthward. That covers ‘quickly’ meanings. That covers the ‘one after the other,’ the ‘more and more’ and the ‘mounting’ meanings, as well as the ‘over and over’ and ‘repeated or repetitious meanings.
But all the talk and communication meanings – including written documents and written-anything, like texting or notes – are orphaned and not really in that illustration unless you stretch it to say that the limbs do look like lines on paper. Today it’s all talk, with a dash of one-after-another and mounting.
………………………….. Ace of Wands is the most important, the priority, assertion and aggression, male gender and sex. Being number one is a common male drive, and Ace of Wands seems to settle in on this scene, with its phallic (penis-like) shape.
..……………..…………. Eight of Pentacles is obviously about work and the worker. The carpenter at his bench hammers out one object after another as he makes one quick blow after another with the hammer. So you have anything to do with labor, work or employment, and anything that is repeated or repetitious. You also have keeping at it constantly. Note how Eight of Pentacles’ meanings overlap Eight of Wands’ meanings: over and over, keeping at it, repetitious and repeating.
……….…………
Eight of Wands and Ace of Wands Eight of Wands and Ace of Wands says everything is Priority One, says ‘all the things I have to do’ and ‘You have to do all those things.’ One thing, out of all the other things, is most important: Ace of Wands is one thing that is most important, and Eight of Wands is all the other things. They also say ‘You have to do it fast,’ and ‘Fast is most important.’ They are also an order to put it in writing, with Ace of Wands meaning ‘must’ and Eight of Wands meaning ‘written,’ hence ‘Write it down.’ They also say, since Eight of Wands is talk (communicating), ‘Have to talk.’ x
..
……….…………
Eight of Wands and Eight of Pentacles Eight of Wands and Eight of Pentacles are about all those things you do, or are doing. Eight of Wands is ‘all the things’ or everything, and Eight of Pentacles is the doing of anything. So you can see ‘he does it all’ and, with Eight of Pentacles being work-related stuff, you can see all the things you have to do on the job, and you can see multitasking. With Eight of Wands meaning talk, you can see saying the same thing over and over, talking on the job, or as the job. With Eight of Wands meaning quickly, well, there’s fast work, work fast, a fast-paced work environment, and so on. Regular and frequent: Eight of Wands, as ‘over and over’ is frequent; Eight of Pentacles’ persistent hammer strokes gives it the meaning of regularly performed tasks.
Since Eight of Wands and Eight of Pentacles both mean ‘keeping it up’ (what you do over and over, for instance), these two cards can say both ‘keep talking (Eight of Wands as talk, and Eight of Pentacles as keeping at it) and ‘keep working’ or ‘keep doing’ with Eight of Wands as the ‘keep’ and Eight of Pentacles as the ‘doing.’ You have reached expertise when you sense this sort of juxtaposition of meanings in your spreads. x..
………..…………
Ace of Wands and Eight of Pentacles Ace of Wands and Eight of Pentacles say ‘I have to work’ and ‘Work is the priority’ or ‘the priority at work.’ Eight of Pentacles is keeping at it (one of its strongest applications, actually) so here’s ‘Have to keep at it.’ Keep trucking, you know – since Ace of Wands is also a command. You also see ‘Number One at Work’ with Ace of Wands being number one. Being the only one who does a particular thing at work, or the only one who does that kind of work, also belongs to Ace of Wands and Eight of Pentacles.x
..
We have our routines. Routines can be comforting … you don’t have to think about what next to do … but that unmindfulness has its downside, we are reminding ourselves here. That unmindfulness of The List of Things to Do imparts a feeling of the rat race or the daily grind, and makes us subliminally or subconsciously resentful of our very lives … because our routine is our life, you know? Somewhere along the way, we made a choice, and we made that choice for reason or for cause – no good reason to resent our honoring our past choices. Now would be a good time to review and audit the choices.

Eight of Wands …….. Eight of Wands shows limbs flying in the air one above the other, headed to the ground. Eight of Wands means plural words: many, all, everything or everyone, etc. Flying in the air obviously gives this Rider Waite card ‘quickly’ and its synonyms. It applies to communication – written, oral, telepathy, smoke signals – all communication. Documents. It will appear these days for texting. Often it says ‘tell’ or ‘talk.’ Once in a while it appears as advice to put it in writing. It also appears with other cards as advice regarding what you are talking about or saying. (The other cards supply the command or advice, of course.)
.
Ace of Wands …………. Ace of Wands is definitely about male gender and male traits, with its phallic shape and its sprouts. It’s about priorities and force, about being number one, and having to do. Sometimes it’s making something happen or making someone do: orders, you know – commanding or being commanded. It is about assertion and aggression, and you look to other cards to see whether those are hostile or not.
.
Eight of Pentacles …………. Eight of Pentacles is working on it. He sticks to his tasks. He does one thing after another quickly – which echoes Eight of Wands’ meanings in this spread. Eight of Pentacles can appear regarding any job- or employment- or labor- related subject, even Labor parties in politics, for instance – because Tarot Verbatim is language-based. This card in Tarot Verbatim™ also represents the daily routine, the chores, the grind, and is a support card for ‘the rat race.’
