Tarot Readings for You for July 15-16, 2017 Weekend©

Here is another email reading (with her permission to share it) from the same gal whose other readings were a downer. This one regards looking down the road for another Prince Charming (Knight of Discs, she calls him, which is Knight of Cups for me).

.

I got a lot of new phrases for meanings of these Rider Waite Tarot cards from this reading – from each sentence – for the dictionary I keep. Subscribers to the Tarot Email Training project get this dictionary for the cards of that lesson. And you can Google any pair, or any single one, of the cards in these spreads, and get further information on them. That project, F.Y.I., will begin in AUGUST. If you sign up now, you will get notice the first part of August that it’s underway. It’s worth it: I have surpassed myself writing the bonus book and the lessons. (Emily)

Tarot Readings for You for August 22, 2014 Friday(c)

Guidance   There comes a time – always, to all of us – that things all go sideways at the same time. The scene is changed by that invisible hand, and there is no right thing to do, no smart move. We are stuck in a vacuum waiting for a breeze. Paralysis, at times like this, is not only normal but fairly smart. You can have all the despair you want, and that’s okay, that’s normal. You are in a cocoon, and a major involuntary turning point is ahead – almost always a new and better life. This is one of those undertows that time does heal. Welcome to the clubhouse of survivors, and congratulations on your new colorful wings.

Tarot Readings: Meditation as Resistance (Five of Wands and Four of Swords)

My meditation is an all-out battle with depression.

In meditation, I have a fight with the things that get me down.

When your energy is depleted, put it into meditating.

……….…………

Tarot Readings: Meditating on Regret (Five of Cups and Four of Swords)

A tragedy has me meditating on life purpose with all my heart.

Take time out from active life when you feel awful.

Nothing can be done when you are repenting things you have done.

Meditating on wasted efforts.

……….…………

Tarot Readings: Fighting and Losing (Five of Wands and Five of Cups)

Better to have battled and lost than never to have battled at all.

I fight, I lose, and I sleep it off.

Doesn’t fight (you) any longer because (he) loses.

I’m no fighter, but you’re gonna lose.

You can lose a fight by defaulting.

Sleeping alone because of fights I wish had never happened.

Homesick for the war zone (he)was used to.

Being attacked for minding my own business and drinking.

……….…………

Tarot Readings: Wasted Effort (Five of Wands and Five of Cups)

All the effort we put in is for nothing, and that’s too bad.

I still struggle with a past that haunts me.

I don’t drink anymore, and it’s so hard.

Don’t pick a fight you will lose.

If you really don’t care, it’s a waste of effort.

May as well not even try doing something you feel that bad about.

……….…………

Tarot Readings: You Lose if You Don’t (Five of Cups and Four of Swords)

Being indifferent to sports makes you a loser.

If you don’t play the game, you lose.

You can lose a fight by default.

I work hard and lose money because someone else isn’t doing that.

If you don’t try, you fail.

……….…………

Tarot Readings: Lassitude and Depression (Five of Cups and Four of Swords)

Lack exercise and sleep.

I fight depression by sleeping it off.

I miss being physically active here on the sidelines.

Such a lack of energy that I am just resting up.

There’s the energy phase, and then the downswing where you flat-out don’t care.

I struggle with depression, and don’t get up out of bed.

Mourning my loss of the past, I am just not up to doing things.

I tried really hard and failed, so I am not doing anything.

Still haunted by the past, and I am so against that.

What I am doing is taking time out to feel sorry for myself.

You feel like not doing anything when you feel sad.

Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined three pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these three cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONSis a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the three cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

Five of Wands – Five of Cups – Four of Swords

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

……………….…………………… The energy of Five of Wands is counterbalanced by its spread-mates here, as Five of Cups is losing and mourning, and Four of Swords is refraining from the very action and involvement that Five of Wands represents. This smells like a stalemate or a standoff, doesn’t it?

………………………..    Five of Wands shows five fellows whacking at one another with boards. They could be playing a sport or fighting, they could be violent, and they certainly are expending energy, trying hard, and competing with one another. Five of Wands is definitely an effort, and it can mean hard work but that isn’t its main trunk. Today this potentially violent card is overwhelmed by ennui, overtaken by the blues and by rank indifference or disinclination.

………………………..     Five of Cups  is spilled wine, so it represents regretting something that cannot be undone. The black-robed figure, head bent, represents mourning, heartsickness, melancholy, loss and downtime. You don’t find this card for insincere displays of emotion: It is very real hurt. I wish to God I had or hadn’t: Five of Cups is haunted by the past that cannot be fixed. Five of Cups, like Four of Swords, is sidelined, experiencing ennui or lassitude, a paralysis of the will, and life being drained out of you. Watch for it to mean a loss of body fluid in any way, including internal bleeding and glandular secretions in medical questions.

……………………….. Four of Swords   shows a knight candidate meditating on his life purpose, as part of the knighthood ritual. He will report his vision to the bishop, who will decide whether he is worthy of knighthood. A person lying in the death position on a coffin naturally has meanings like being sidelined, sleeping or resting up, not participating, being indifferent, minding his own business, not doing something – or not doing anything. But Four of Swords does not introduce death; it is merely a support card for it – unless the question is pointedly about death. It also goes into being a couch potato, just lying around, laziness, not responding. Medically, it can mean the patient is unresponsive, coma, bedridden, and being under anesthesia. Of course, this is the main Rider Waite Tarot card for meditating – especially meditating on life purpose – and anything to do with it.

………..……….……….     Five of Wands and Four of Swords both involve activity … doing something. Five of Wands specifically is very active, and is doing, whereas Four of Swords specifically is not at all active and is doing nothing.

Better to have battled and lost than never to have battled at all, we say. Today we have snapshots of people who are sidelined, mostly by their feelings and their reaction to having tried and failed, having wasted effort, having lost a fight. People who are on the bench or who are between innings. Mourning, regretting and repenting happen. We also have snapshots of people who are struggling with something difficult. This leads up to “ Take time out from active life when you feel awful.” The underlying message is to give ourselves permission to rest up from down-times, and from the drain of emotional traumas.
