Tarot Readings for You for September 10, 2014 Wednesday(c)

Guidance        Our meditation for today is that there’s a way to do it that is established (most likely by this same thing having been done before), that is the protocol. Opposition to the protocol, we point out, is part of the process – that, rather than being a mere uprising against authority, resistance is what makes the new and better protocol, the better way, which in its turn is established and open to a new uprising. We suggest that some people represent the old established way, the old establishment, and some people represent the rebellion against it, who make the new way. Both these types of people have a vital role. These two principles engaging in action are what propel progress. The workings of the two principles occur in our minds as we sift through what we are doing; they occur at the workbench in the making of something; and they occur at government level in power struggles.

Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined three pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these three cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS is a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the three cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

Emperor – Five of Wands – Magician

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

……………….……………………   Emperor has the authority, Five of Wands has the energy, and Magician gets it done: A recipe for accomplishments.

………………………..      Emperor is the head man, the ultimate power … therefore both a federal government and a divine power. You could say Emperor is God and government; Emperor is Daddy and boss. This Tarot card shows an old man, and represents that of course. He sits there with big shoulders, a white beard, and a bored important look, not doing anything. Emperor delegates; he isn’t getting his hands dirty anymore at his executive level – staff, not line. It represents, esoterically, completion and a state of perfection that is stagnating at that level. (That is an esoteric concept, not mine; I kind of like perfection.) Emperor is mature, is an old man, a grownup, a rigid person, is the authority on the subject matter at hand.

………………………..  Five of Wands is the sweat equity, is getting in the trenches, is the energy it takes for the struggle, is competition, trying hard, battle, and is being against or opposing something. You see five fellows whacking one another with boards, which makes it mean sports and exercise as well.

……………………….. Magician takes action; he is action. He starts things; he may be a beginner or at an entrance level when that is brought out by neighboring cards – such as today, when Emperor is the experienced veteran or master of the activity. He initiates or makes the first move, too. When Magician represents a person, it’s a male person because Magician is, esoterically, the male principle of being active on a particular plane. Magician is doing it, is being the one to do it (any gender, now), is the guy who did it. Magician bring it about, brings it down, makes it happen, triggers an event. That’s his province.

………..……….……….   Emperor and Magician  So here we have two cards that are heavily male in their applications, Emperor and Magician. Together they say ‘authority to act’ and ‘executive action.’ Together they are about what an old man does, and are about controlling your action.

…….………..……….…   Five of Wands and Magician We have two cards that mean action and activity, Five of Wands and Magician. Together they are about the energy to engage in the action, struggle or fight. They say things like ‘take energetic action.’ Both these cards translate ‘do,’ and sometimes you just let one of them speak in the translation of the sentence.

……….……….……….    Emperor and Five of Wands   We have authority in Emperor, and resistance (even rebellion, and even violence) in Five of Wands. Of course, authority is just as likely to be violent as the resistance. Five of Wands is the activist who is against whatever is controlling the subject situation. Emperor and Five of Wands also are about a fight with Daddy.

As you can see, today we are talking about things getting done, and about the involvement of authority and opposition to authority in the doing. There’s the set in stone protocol, and there’s an individual who, in the performance of the project, goes against the protocol with a new way to do it. The juxtaposition of these opposing elements is how things do get done: Both are part of the process. This process happens in our thinking as well as our experience. How many times have you started to do something and had that Eureka! moment that inspired you to do it another way that worked out better.
