Justice – Easy to apply, most of the time, Justice. When it’s not about a lawyer, lawsuit, legal affair, court, police and police matters, it’s about things being the way they should be – all the words about that. Should. Ought. Right and rightful. Or its about being entitled or deserving.
.
Justice also represents things being okay, with words like these: sane and sanity, sober, normal, rational and realistic.
Queen of Pentacles – You can think of Queen of Pentacles as Nine of Pentacles married. Both these woman (and Queen of Wands too) efficiently and intelligently have their life, their affairs, and their business in order. All three are competent managers. Queen of Pentacles is famous for backing her man, being the (very) loyal wife. Today she is the ‘family woman,’ ‘the woman of the house,’ the mentor, as well as the mama. She may appear as the matriarch of the clan. Queen of Pentacles is running the household and possibly his business, and managing the money. Queen of Pentacles can appear as a bookkeeper.
.
Queen of Pentacles is a ‘take care’ person, the female counterpart of Hermit that way. Taking care of her man, being supportive or even supporting him. Taking care of her family. Taking care of business. Queen of Pentacles specifically is skilled, is able … can do. She can handle: That is a very frequent Queen of Pentacles phrase.
.
An offshoot of all this managing Queen of Pentacles does is her investing and contributing meanings. Queen of Pentacles is an astute businesswoman.
.
Possessing is also a Queen of Pentacles category of meaning. She possesses; she has assets. Today she says ‘keep what is yours’ and ‘she has money.’ But here’s what to keep in mind about our lady: She can be possessive. The possessive wife or girl friend, or mother. She can appear as that too-loyal my-kid-can-do-no-wrong mama.
.
Six of Swords – Six of Swords, you see it everywhere. It comes up more than its share of times. Which is good because it has more than its share of very common meanings. And we have to sort them out. There are distinctions. You will get to where you ‘just know’ after a while.
.
The picture illustrates getting out of a difficult situation or place, but Six of Swords does not always apply as escaping with the clothes on your back as you see in the picture. In real-life layouts, the emphasis is often on simply leaving. Today phrases like these express that side of Six of Swords: you leaving, departed, geeing out of there, leave town with her kid, move away from there.
.
When the emphasis is on getting out of difficulty or putting bad times behind, phrases like today’s appear: gets out of difficulties; gets the family out of difficulty; put the bad times behind; gets people out of trouble; the worst is over; put his past behind and gets on with it.

.
Here we have three unrelated Tarot cards. Unrelated cards tend to be stories, as you may remember.
Queen of Pentacles is the center of the action because
what she is able to do (one of her main meanings)
gets the situation out of a problem area into something better (the main meaning for
Six of Swords), and
Justice indicates these things are going in a
sane,
right direction they
should be going. ‘The
right direction’ and ‘going in the
right direction’ are classic
Justice-and-Six of Swords
phrases. Note that
Justice supplies ‘
right,’ and
Six of Swords supplies ‘
going in the direction.’
.
So let’s talk about
Justice and Six of Swords
. They mate, often, in a spread, to indicate an
improving situation or reform. Here are typical translates to keep in the back of your mind for this pair:
going in the
right direction;
should
leave, or
ought to
get out of there;
move away for a more
normal life;
a better life now that (whoever) is
realistic;
getting
sober. But once in a while, in violation of
Six of Swords’ usual theme of
things getting better,
Justice and Six of Swords
can say ‘
not
sensible
anymore’ or
‘taking leave of
his/her/its senses.’ That’s rare, and the story line would be established by the rest of the spread, the history, and the question itself.
.
Queen of Pentacles and
Justice will often access
Queen of Pentacles’ ‘
possess’ meaning. You are
Queen of Pentacles and
Justice when you
possess your
sobriety or
possess your
sanity. This pair of cards also commonly translates ‘the
right way
to handle.’
.
Queen of Pentacles and Six of Swords
will often make a story about
Queen of Pentacles’ skill at handling (whatever)
makes it better. For example “
In her skilled hands,
business
improves.”
Six of Cups is about the
improvement.
Queen of Pentacles contributes two of its meanings in that sentence: ‘
in her skilled hands,’ of course, but also ‘
business,’ since being
the astute businesswoman is another category of
Queen of Pentacles’
skill meanings. She can be a
bookkeeper.
.
Queen of Pentacles can also be
an investor,
a donor or
contributor (to a cause, say), a backer. In real Tarot life, there are other cards that more strongly, more usually, refer to investing.
Queen of Pentacles tends to appear as ‘
investing’ when the story is already about what a woman is doing with money.
.
At the very end of the three-card posts on this site are the sentences with one card removed. Visitors who study Tarot will pick up insights there. ‘Oh, THAT’S what it would mean without that other card’ or ‘Oh, THAT’S what those two can say together.’ Today is a better-than-usual source of insight there.

Guidance Arriving at the place of comfort for me in my life could involve both (1) struggling and competing and working hard for it, and also (2) avoiding some struggles, competitions and efforts. Will I do whichever gets me to the goal of ending up with my preferred life situations? The struggle that I either engage in or withdraw from could be about the direction to head for my better future; could be a legal one; it could be about what is rightfully mine; could even be about what is right and proper.

Six of Swords
Nine of Pentacles – Five of Wands – Justice
LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING
.
Here is what you see immediately if you are a Tarot aficionado. Two cards pair to mean a nice sane ordinary life the way it should be:
Nine of Pentacles and Justice
Five of Wands and Six of Swords … and the other two mean ‘fight or flight.’
This immediately suggests the story these four have gotten together to tell us: To get a nice sane peaceful life where you live, you fight for … and you avoid fighting.
We begin with the lady who is not a part of the action, has no pony in the race, isn’t struggling, Nine of Pentacles. She is also private and privacy. She also stands her ground for what is hers right here, but that is a stance not a battle. She has been there and done that re battles: She is a winner. She is Greta Garbo “I want to be alone.”
Five of Wands and Justice So then there is a struggle. Struggle is Five of Wands’ major meaning, followed by Justice which makes it a struggle for what is right, fair, for what should be – a justifiable and justified battle, fight, contention or conflagration. Definitely could be a court battle, with Justice present. It also says you should fight, because Justice’s favorite word is ‘should.’
Nine of Pentacles and Justice Well, Nine of Pentacles can be an heiress and is in possession, so the legal card fits right in with that. Legal possession of real estate; what is rightfully hers; you should stay home and be ‘above it all.’
Now lastly comes Six of Swords, to complicate the plot of our novel of four Tarots. Six of Swords: to avoid or withdraw but also the better life and ‘anymore.’ It harkens back to Nine of Pentacles that we begin with – because if anyone has that better life it is Nine of Pentacles. We develop some odd phrases today for Six of Swords too: retirees, a thing of the past, go on with life, it’s better that way, to get you out of, count me out of, and moves overseas.

Nine of Pentacles She has it made and she doesn’t get involved. She may be wealthy but is for sure content with her lot. She is the businesswoman who owns a place or enterprise, is self-supporting, is single, lives alone, needs nothing and no one, and don’t get too buddy-buddy. Don’t ask her to join a cause, either. She is private and can represent privacy. A lady of leisure, or at least one who does as she pleases and doesn’t care what ‘they say.’ So she is in the vineyard this afternoon in her robe with her falcon, the snail at her foot saying ‘in my own good time.’

Five of Wands Those guys whacking one another with boards are the competitive male nature in action, either fighting or competing against one another. Combative and competitive chaps, aren’t they? Struggle, competition, fight, action, sports, exercise, energy expended, effort … that’s about it.

Justice Fair, right, rightful, justifiable, justified, should and proper. Anything to do with law: police, lawyers, judges, court proceedings, courtroom, litigation or lawsuit. The upright figure with the scales of justice in one hand and the sword of enforcement in the other.

Six of Swords Things are better over there, they have to be because things really stink over here, so I’m leaving for a better future. I could be leaving ‘over water’ or overseas. I’m leaving with the clothes on my back like a refugee, sometimes. Sometimes I just mean things are at their worst right now and will be getting better. Illustration shows folks huddling in an escape boat, leaving in shallow water. This is a depressing card, often, but it means the worst is over as well as meaning the grass is greener: Six of Swords is that flexible.

Tarot Verbatim
Guidance We are about the role of chaos in setting things straight. Chaos is self-limiting, we suggest, because it must eventually reach the yuk point, and when it crosses that line, the berserk factor is removed or leaves, thereby benefiting the very world it would have wrecked. This process is a summary of ‘most every novel written. It happens within us too, as we ‘realize we have gone too far.’ This realization sometimes has a tinge of humor to it – ya think? Sometimes it takes a courtroom to make a person realize, yes, he has gone too far.
Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!
People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.
If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need.
‘Guidance’ (above) is a summary of what the cards are telling visitors to be aware of this day.
‘Group Tarot Cards Reading’ (just below this) is the actual word-for-word messages from the pictures of the four cards you see – to everyone. These readings are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.

Tarot Readings: Eventually the Mess will be Over (Seven of Cups and Six of Swords)
In due time this mess that overwhelms me now will be straightened out.
I am besieged by stuff I don’t understand but it will make sense after I get into it.
Acting out uncontrollably phases him out of the sane world.
Whoa! I am going away to normal country; things are falling apart here.
Before you get out of here, I am going to straighten out the confusion, like it or not.
The punk who wreaked havoc leaves before you set him straight.
You should force your way out of there before you fall to pieces.
All kinds of things prevent me from just moving out of here like I should do.
Things get better after the disorderly person goes overboard and the police take him out.

Tarot Readings: Insanity in the Courtroom (Seven of Cups and Justice)
The way we should take out of town is blocked by the storm.
Forced to deal with a legal miasma (mess) he left behind.
This lawsuit is out of control, and there’s no way to get out of it.
Shocked that the judge barred his withdrawal from the case.
He insists on a continuance of the case senselessly.
Lawyer insists his client is insane to get out of it (the accusations).
He is taken away by the police for Disturbing the Peace when he won’t shut up.
Before the court action is over, he is accused of all sorts of things.
He raises all kinds of hell in court to delay the procedure.

Tarot Readings: Heading Toward Rehab (Justice and Six of Swords)
Face the world messed-up until I sober up.
Forced to either go to Rehab or fall to pieces.
Our crazy days are over; we are forced into sanity.
Leaving is the right move, I have stirred people up against me.
We raised so much hell we broke things and the police came and took us away.
We have to put these drug times behind us and get straight.
Our lives are out of our control, and the way to straighten up is blocked.
Leaves the scene drunk and then mouths off about his rights.
Every possible way out is blocked by the police!
Cracking under the pressure, losing my sanity.
We should put these crazy times behind us, we have to.
He should have left when he was hollering gibberish.
He insists he is entitled to all these things for no reason: He is on his way out.
He should be getting out of here, but he is irrational raising hell.
This episode is one too many bad dreams, I should move on with my life.
Now, Part Two,
Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,
*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here. It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages.
*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures. It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say. It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.
You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.
This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

.
The centerpiece here is Seven of Cups, which means out of control, messed up, confusion, senseless, falling apart, bad dream, wrecked, ruined, havoc, chaos.
To its left is Seven of Wands, the mouthy punk, the way being blocked, insisting forcefully (or raising hell about) and intrusion into the life and property of another.
To the right is Justice, straightening out, sanity, normal, and anything about the law (police, courts, lawyers, courtroom proceedings, etc.).
Above is Six of Swords, leaving this scene for a better one, or, today, being taken away to make the scene a better one.
So our theme is things coming to a head (
Seven of Wands) because the pendulum has reached the maximum point of out-of-control crazy messes (
Seven of Cups) and has to head (
Six of Swords) the other way, to sensible (
Justice).
Notice there is nothing about hitting bottom and having a salvation epiphany: No, this is about those times the situation itself causes travel here that resolves the miasma.

Seven of Wands We all know him, and everyone is him … has to be him … every so often. How he doth protest, the mouthy adolescent, how much hell a drunk raises. The kind of people who shove others around. But it also stands for blocking the way of the intruder or invader. It also means to defend oneself. Which is interesting because every bully I ever met pictured himself as the one who is put-upon and deprived of privileges. Pictured is a person who got out of bed in his underwear to defend his land against some neighbors of a type we have all encountered ourselves.

Seven of Cups The demons are out, let loose upon us. Things are way out of control. We are confronted with a situation that doesn’t have a handle, a bad dream, insanity. Its illustration is the Sorcerer’s Apprentice story or Pandora’s Box story: the spirits are all over the place and unidentified, and there you are in the wrong place at just that time without your magic wand.

Justice What’s a nice card like you doing in a place like this? Well, to do what Justice always does: straighten it out. This Rider Waite Tarot card in Tarot Verbatim™ often contributes the word ‘should.’ It speaks of a nice normal sane existence. Love its picture.

Six of Swords Things get better. As they always do when the obstreperous person goes berserk and the police come to straighten things out. All’s well that ends well here: They have come to take (him) away. The ship with the loser in it is sailing off, and the story has some kind of happy ending.
