Three of Cups – Here are some people who got together in the real world, grew some pumpkins and sold them, then split the profit as they celebrate, still friends. Today the emphasis is on the camaraderie, the getting together. Today the get-togethr is socializing, partying, dating, with not much about the commercial side of Three of Cups. One of Three of Cups simple favorite words is ‘enjoys.’
Nine of Pentacles – Nine of Pentacles is a woman who is content with her life and is successful. She is associated with staying home (as High Priestess is), and she is associated with running an enterprise, endeavor or business as a single individual. This is the independent woman of the deck, the single lady, the private person, the detached woman who has some interest of her own (represented by the falcon).
Emperor – The first few Rider Waite Tarot cards reflect the esoteric meaning of their number, and 4 is about the end of a cycle, the finish, the stage of perfection which gets old and stagnates. So that’s the basic meaning of Emperor: the old man, the powerful man, daddy, boss, federal government and God the Father. Emperor is associated with being controlling and with being established, hence The Establishment or The System.
