Three of Pentacles – is dealing with people in any kind of relationship, even meeting up with people you know. Today we focus on getting something done that way because we have Magician here, and today we focus on the business end of Three of Pentacles because we have Nine of Pentacles, Ms. Biz, here. Today a profitable business is where Three of Pentacles is at – and Three of Pentacles is right at home here because you can see the architect settling up with his clients, negotiating for them to release his profit by agreeing that he has performed his contract.

Nine of Pentacles – Nine of Pentacles is in a phase of her life in which she is doing her own thing, minding her own business in both senses of that phrase. She centers her attention on her home and on making enough profit in her enterprise to be content. She is in the company of a falcon and a snail, and this is one gal who has no people problems because she doesn’t need people. She is associated with being skilled, and in demand that way.

Magician – Magician is the doer of the deck: He means forms of the verbs ‘do,’ ‘make’ and ‘initiate,’ he is about making the first move, taking initiative, starting up, getting it accomplished. All this comes from representing, as the ‘1’ in the deck, the male principle of action. (He means action too, of course.)

Magician also translates as male pronouns, and ‘I’ and ‘myself.’ ‘Do it yourself’ belongs to him solidly, both for the pronoun and the verb.
