LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

Seven of Wands………. engages in the battle or struggle against, stands up and defends (his) position, raises hell. This one Rider Waite Tarot card covers the whole spectrum of confrontation and resisting. Its illustration is a landowner standing up to invading neighbors. Seven of Wands is ‘I’m mad as hell and I won’t take it anymore’ and ‘Gimme the car keys’ defiance. He is the mouthy mooch or the beleaguered host.

Star Star is about talk, performing, feeling good, love and enthusiasm, mainly. These meanings arise from elements of its illustration of a singer performing a ritual bath. Its ‘talk’ meaning is usually a LOT of talk (a sales pitch, gushing, babbling, explaining, spilling your guts, etc.). Today the talk is part of Seven of Wands’ confrontation stories. Star means ‘saying “I love you.”’ It also means promising. Usually Star is a feeling card, and is upbeat.

Six of Pentacles.……… It’s a very fair exchange here. The employer weighs the coins into the hands of the help. Six of Pentacles is about giving and receiving attention, affection, money, recognition and respect. It is a lead card for the money meanings, and a support card for the others.
