Two of Cups There’s an agenda to the seduction, ‘strings attached’ some way. It can be a friend using you; it can be a drain of any kind, like a mooch or a lemon car. It’s an unnamed element or third party to any kind of relationship. The winged lion’s head above intertwined snakes means vampirism (using another) of some sort. Nine of Cups The fat fellow sits there. Behind him are the line of cups he has drained. Surfeit, having it all. Feeling very satisfied with yourself. Chariot decides, accomplishes (his) purpose, has self-control and command of his environment, manages to get ahead and fulfill ambitions. Chooses to go straight and be responsible. Succeeds at the project, too. It’s also any vehicle, and driving or piloting same. Pictured is a charioteer – the skilled military man who is a strategist both in his individual combat and the overall battle plan (before the days of radio communication).
