Advice is about arriving at the place of comfort for you in your life,  that that could involve both struggling and competing and working hard for it,  and also avoiding some struggles,  competitions and efforts.  Do whichever gets you to the goal of ending up,  after it's all over,  with your preferred life situations.  This struggle that you either engage in or withdraw from can be a legal one;  it can be about what is rightfully yours,  about what is right and proper.

Is this the first tim...

Advice today concerns the role of chaos in setting things straight.  Chaos is self-limiting, we suggest, because it must reach the yuk point,  and when it crosses that line,  the berserk factor is removed or leaves,  thereby benefiting the very world it would have wrecked.  This process is a summary of every novel written.  It happens within us too,  as we 'realize we have gone too far.'  This realization sometimes has a tinge of humor to it   -  ya think? The courtroom is not free of the same p...

Advice is about what divides people who are of the same family or community.  Literally the four read:  "Us.  Them.  Connect.  Shun."  Our story is about whether to be a hippie or an Episcopalian;  whether to stay with the characteristics and beliefs you were born into,  or poke your nose out the door and test the strange air.  Attitudes bombard this subject.  Having some friends costs you other friends.  Partners in the firm avoid conflicts of interest. (At the time of production,  there's no w...

Advice We drop into the happy marriage,  community of good people,  people who have a comfortable life,  the marrying well and marrying a good man that Mother tells you about,  especially when she has not done so.  A person can get into this and leave the lesser life behind,  or put this behind feeling the loss of it.  You can feel in this spread how some women leave the happy marriage with the good man,  how people leave the well-adjusted community life behind because it is just that. (At the t...

Advice      Sometimes you just have to get out of there,  whether fast or slow,  whether it's your idea or you are under pressure to.  He figures dropping out is a way to avoid defending himself in a confrontation.  Perplexed about how to break out and get away:  It's such a life change.  Why is he so mouthy that you go out of your way to avoid him?  Since so much stands in the way of a gradual withdrawal,  he figures he will drop out. . Is this the first time you come here?  Well … what to do: ...

Advice centers on the role an influential woman who does as she pleases plays in both personal and business situations. You have to deal with her as she is, or avoid dealing with her as she is, whether the deal is an intimate or a business relationship. Fellows avoid sexual intimacy with women who have a mind of their own. As a loner, she avoids intimate sexual relationships. You travel or relocate to do a deal. . . .......................                                               E         ...

Question: How to get your heart's desire. Advice emphasizes one idea stated many ways: That the way to get your heart's desire is to find out what that really is - what you want, not what you have been conditioned to think you want, not what you think you want to keep up appearances. The message, further, is that when you do this, others are influenced to help you, and you phase out of where you are now and into the life you envision accurately.

Our Daily Spread for July 16, 2011, Saturday

Advice is about getting away from, leaving, avoiding, putting it behind … all sorts and flavors of pulling out and getting on down the road, even changing one's mind about it. Getting out fast, getting out slow. Any kind of escape will do. Contrasts talking and not talking about it, too. It's about quitting, finally, and not doing it again. Running away from mouthy folks, even, is mentioned here in our spread. =================================================================================== ...

Our Daily Spread for June 24, 2011

Advice today is very simple: The worst does not happen. The disaster, whatever it is - eviction, illness, betrayal, despair - does not happen. The person in question pulls out of it beforehand, whether the pulling out is gradual or like the gunning of an engine. The feeling of narrow escape is here, though: no rejoicing is mentioned. This simple message is repeated and very clear, so someone is here who belongs to it.
