Page of Wands and Six of Wands Both of these are about appearances, how you look. Page of Wands is the personality you project on purpose and live up to on purpose. Six of Wands is the exact reverse: taking on a role in order to fit in. Six of Wands can be a pretense in order to deceive or ‘sell’ as well. Sabotage is one of Six of Wands’ turfs too. You could say Page of Wands is honest; Six of Wands is a crook.
Ten of Wands and Two of Pentacles What these two Rider Waite Tarot cards have in common is: to be going through something, continual, to keep at something (‘keep trucking’). Ten of Wands is the heavy plodding, the slow moving aspect of those concepts; Two of Pentacles is the lighter … even goofy … end of the spectrum.
The picture that comes of these brush strokes is that we have our own image that we maintain as we move through the images other people are maintaining, so that you can be sure things are not what they seem. LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES
Page of Wands is about image, both self-image and reputation or public image. It is about being one’s best self, talking up, standing up for what you believe, being a good guy, behaving yourself. It is a respectable, well-spoken, well-dressed person. Page of Wands can represent a female entity but usually is more a young male entity.
Ten of Wands often translates as words that mean a long time or long term. It is also anything slow moving or ‘slow going,’ onerous. There he is weighed down with all those branches, doing it all in one load. He are not using most of his meanings today.
Six of Wands This is one of the cards that in Tarot Verbatim™ has quite a spectrum of meanings. It is about playing a role and fitting in. It can be you fitting in with a social circle, saying and acting as they do. It can be the spy or false friend. It can be pretending to be something you’re not, or it can be self-delusion. He is the crook or the sneaky bastard if one is called for.
Two of Pentacles is ongoing or continuing. It is also many kinds of movements, whether actual or figurative: round and round, up and down, back and forth. Page of Pentacles represents silliness as well.
