GUIDANCE We don’t play games. We aren’t interested in inducements (no freebies allowed!). You cannot con someone who deals fair and square – not today. They don’t pay any attention to the sales pitch. People who do their part aren’t letting themselves be taken advantage of.

They are about today and the days around it. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Six of Wands – Here’s the Pyrrhic victory, the lucky break that turns out to be not so. Six of Wands tells you not to trust the environment, not to trust appearances: “Things are not as they seem.” Usually it is about a hidden hazard because this picture illustrates the abduction by Arabs of the English King during a battle he won with that enemy. But sometimes Six of Wands is telling you things are not as bad as they seem too. Not as often, of course.
.
Today, Six of Wands – along the lines of hidden hazards – is using these words and phrases: games
His agenda
the person he pretends to be
unethical
Act like
phony
Things are not as they seem
Looks like (he) can
misleading
is only pretending
cheat
phony
two-faced people
this person is up to something
because of an ulterior motive
mooches
take advantage
be taken advantage of
take advantage of each other
.
But Six of Wands expands to the situation not to be trusted rather than just a person or people – expands to ‘forces beyond your control.’ Here are those phrases: when one is his own worst enemy; unintended complications; when you’re under the influence.
.
Far less obvious are the times in Tarot Verbatim™ that an ordinary business factor has more effect or influence than is apparent. Examples of this today are: inducement; sales pitch; overhead.
Two of Swords – Two of Swords is as simple as Six of Wands is complex. 18 times today, Two of Swords translates negative words in its duty as a negator.
.
8 times, it translates as these words and phrases which have the same meaning but aren’t simple negatory words: No _ allowed; is not getting; ends it; even if you are not; and you ain’t interested; non; n’t; Don’t have anything to do with it.
.
The rather puzzling picture shows a woman holding huge heavy broadswords flat side facing us in her crossed arms. It is the middle of the night. She is in skimpy night clothes. She is blindfolded. She sits with her back to the large body of water, upon a stone bench, all alone. She is stuck.
Three of Pentacles – Here’s our old friend Three of Pentacles: It knows everybody and gets along with all the other cards really well. The main word for Three of Pentacles is ‘relationship.’ Today, several phrases echo the idea of relationship: in this relationship; in our clubhouse; when he is with you; in the relationship; you are one of them; they are getting along; let them _ each other; friend of yours; together because of; teamwork is working out.
.
Business relationships are a large part of Three of Pentacles’ scope. Our illustration shows a business deal in progress: the settling up of a contract between a builder and his clients. Here are business relationship words from today’s post: in this transaction; you get a fair deal; vendor getting the business; the prices are fair there; hold up his end of the job; It’s a proposition; profit; buy; profit with that; deal with; fair to others.
.
The part about the contract and the agreement between the parties, the meeting of the minds you see in the illustration, grows out of the business-deal-in-progress meanings.
.
The legal meanings also grow out of that contract scene. We are not using them today.
.

To the left in Six of Wands we have, say, the crooked deal. To the right in Three of Pentacles we emphatically have the straight deal (fair and square). And WHAT do we have in between them?: NO WAY! In Two of Swords. This spread makes our messages rather more focused than usual. Many of the sentences – and there would be even more of them, but I pared them out – are stories about not being taken advantage of but dealing fair and square. “No mooches allowed in our clubhouse.” “Disloyalty in the relationship ends it.”
.
Six of Wands has some innocuous (innocent) meanings. One of them is about fitting into a role, conforming to the people around you. “Act like you are one of them even if you are not.” Fake it until you make it.
.
Six of Wands (our star card, you know by now) addresses unseen and unforeseen factors that affect what people are doing together – not just persons who have an indirect influence upon what’s going on. Today we have sentences like these that give you a very strong idea on this concept of unseen factors: Not fair to others when one is his own worst enemy. Aren’t together because of unintended complications. No meeting of the minds when you’re under the influence. There is no inducement in this transaction.

.…..………..
There comes a time in the life of some of us that we are done with all the games, whether the scenario is rewarding to us or costs us. We are indifferent to the sales pitches, and not interested in the bonus gifts. We are going to do our part whether the other party or parties do theirs or not. When we reach that point, we are intolerant: Guilty!
