Guidance

Maybe I overdo it. I get enthused about something, just love it, all excited about it, and I gotta tell everyone … whether they are situated to endorse whatever-it-is or not. I call it missionarying, and, yes, I’m guilty of that … telling people who don’t cook all about recipes . How about you? Do you do that too?

Could This Be You?

Picture this: You look at the cards in your spread.
You immediately get an idea because you know a few of them intimately.
AND you know a system that works because you have had a few
Tarot Email Training emails from Emily.
You Are on Your Way.

Are YOU here for the first time? Welcome.

GUIDANCE Did you come here for Your Daily Predictions? Good! Guidance provides your predictions in a summary. It is the Guidance received for you through three Rider Waite Tarot™ cards, using Tarot Verbatim™.

GROUP TAROT READINGS Here are several one-sentence readings that are predictions for you and the people around you for today and the days around it. Here Tarot is talking to you: These sentences express word-for-word, verbatim, the meanings of those three Tarot cards. You choose which sentences apply to you, and you choose whether to encourage them or not.

SYNOPSIS Located right after the Group Tarot Cards Reading sentences, is a deeper expression of today’s Guidance. Read this too for your predictions. Here you complete your predictions experience. The rest of the page is more about learning to love and learn Tarot Verbatim™.

LEARN TAROT CARDS BY PICTURES Are you ready to begin learning Tarot Verbatim™? Here your in-depth meanings come alive for each of the three cards! In Tarot Verbatim™, pictures make the meaning, so each card is like a person you know and remember.

WITHOUT THE PICTURES For the true seeker of Tarot knowledge, here is what you need to know about how the three cards in today’s spread affect one another, and how to apply Tarot Verbatim™. Here too the cards come alive, together.

WHERE EACH PHRASE COMES FROM At a glance, with a color for each card, your subconscious picks up on how the sentences of GROUP TAROT CARDS READING came to be. You feel how individual card meanings reach out and blend, unite, into a sentence. (You can learn this – yes, you!) Your subconscious awareness sees the image and its feeling and your conscious awareness sees the language meaning, the text… so your two minds focus together to see 3D, three dimensionally, the same way your two eyes see depth that one eye does not.

PHRASES FOR ALL THREE TWO CARD COMBINATIONS Are you ready for the final step of this revolutionary Tarot Verbatim™ technique? Now to make it exceedingly plain and simple, we list the expressions each pair of cards makes. We list them in paragraph form rather than itemized so that they flow, and your subconscious clicks into place and ‘gets it.’ You may even find flashes of dreams or intuitive realities as you read these, at times.

The Rider Waite Tarot™ deck is a data bank in mass consciousness that your subconscious can communicate with. Tarot Verbatim™ is the Rosetta Stone that makes that communication easy because it is a bridge between conscious and subconscious thought. When both your levels of awareness focus together, you think intuitively in real time in ‘the real world.’

Bon voyage!

Synopsis

It’s not always a person you fall in love with. Wild enthusiasm can focus on a thing, an idea, a feeling, an activity, a movement, an ambition, and even oneself – and this focus can be just as extra-rational as love. The love bug is only one of many other bugs, but he gets all the publicity, all the press, most of the attention. Myself, I have been smitten by a few of these, and mostly recovered before it was over. How about you? Are you infecting anyone these days?

Star

Star

Star is performing a public purification ceremony, an occasion of great joy and sensuality, a ritual bath. A shapely woman sings and pours liquids from jugs into the bathing pond under the stars. This is a card of love, enthusiastic love, declaring love feelings, feeling singing-in-the-shower good, expressing wholeheartedly, and telling and confessing and gushing and ‘spilling your guts.’

Star is also good news and publicity (press releases, anyone?), sales pitches, reports, explanations, explaining, telling, talk (speak/say/tell category), and girl talk, since Star is a girl. Still in the speak/say/tell Tarot tribe, Star means venting, gushing, and even flattering. Star also expresses gratitude – hence, it says ‘Thank you.’

Yes, this is one of the cards that translates: female, girl, woman – and even ‘her.’

Another category Star belongs to is health – robust health, and feeling very good, very healthy – particularly as a result of healing. And Ace of Cups of course means healing.

Ace of Cups

Ace of Cups

What is this? Ace of Cups is a diagram of a concept. The concept is that God’s spirit infuses the senses (five senses) of a human, flows through that person to influence mass consciousness of other humans. This is a Roman Catholic based Tarot card. The dove represents Holy Spirit, and in its beak it has the wafer of the Communion ritual in which humans ritually ingest the spirit of the divine. The five flows represent the five senses … and also the Middle Ages ‘five humors’ or body fluids. The body of water they streams flow into represents mass consciousness of humans. That ‘W’ also means something in Roman Catholic ideology, too. This illustration arises from the fountain Ste. Teresa d’Avila writes about in her Interior Castles, a tome universities consider the premier work of Western mysticism.

So Ace of Cups represents the love of God, and that God is love. Naturally, that makes it mean love, unconditional love, pure love. So Ace of Cups means ‘good.’ Any good. It means flow, liquid, and water – and therefore a leak or gush of fluid in any way.

Ace of Cups means a flow, to go with the flow or cooperate, to accept and be accepted, to be healthy and calm.

Ace of Cups also means female gender, and birth, so it can indicate pregnancy.

Page of Swords

Page of Swords

I remember, when I was learning Tarot, throwing out yet another Tarot book that said Page of Swords means ‘a melancholy youth.’ You see here a hyped-up, anxious, mad, paranoid, excitable dude. The coast is clear for miles around his grassy knoll, yet he whirls around, sword held at the ready, hair flying. Page of Swords is obviously not in control of his destiny or himself.

Meanings of Page of Swords divide around his being either anxious, hyper, annoyed, nervous, afraid, edgy, threatened or challenged, angry, panicky … or excited, thrilled, turned on, or wild about something – blood moving, turned on.

Page of Swords is the one and only card that by itself means jealousy. Keep an eye peeled for that.

Now Without The Pictures

Here we have a case of cards with overlapping meanings. You split hairs when you assign who-says-what, when this happens. Both Star and Ace of Cups are all-out love. Star emphasize feeling the love, being enthusiastic, and saying ‘I love you.’ Ace of Cups emphasizes true love, and it too means to feel good – or any kind of ‘good.’ Both Star and Ace of Cups mean good health – Star being robust health and Ace of Cups meaning healing too. And both Star and Ace of Cups represent female gender – so these two Rider Waite Tarot cards have a lot in common. Their meanings, their phrases, overlap in your sentences.

Besides that pair, both Star and Page of Swords have intense feeling and are riled up, hyper. Star is enthusiastic, feeling good all over, and is singing or confessing feelings, particularly love feelings. Page of Swords is excited, edgy, anxious and uneasy: Page of Swords is things getting on your nerves. Star and Page of Swords are both excited.

So of course our stories are about love, passion, and about being calmed down when we are hyper.

Tarot Readings for You for March 16-17, 2019

Today we demonstrate how you (yes, you) can read Tarot (at least Rider Waite Tarot in Tarot Verbatim) as a dialog; you and Tarot in a conversation. You can learn to do that piecemeal right here free, or you can organize and speed it up by buying the Tarot Email Training which you will find under the green ‘Get Them Now’ bar. Or you can just enjoy how it’s done here. We have a good true story.

The ‘Shortcut!’ navigation tab above will allow you to purchase Emily’s interpretation of your three-card spread, for less than nine dollars. It is especially for when you are doing your own cards and wonder. (It is not a reading on a question. You enter three cards, the TOPIC, and payment.)

Three examples (three questions) from one person of Email Reading are a study in going ahead and (carefully) answering when the material seems contradictory. They are also an example of why my instructions to Email buyers are that it’s better to say that someone in a love story is married (especially, not to the love interest). In the questions of this reading, I do not know that, so I read in the alternative – meaning, I say it means this, or that, or that. It turns out that it all does make sense to Querant, who explains that it’s all true ….

Then – third question – she asks what conflicted Love Interest is going to do: action in the real world. And this is a demonstration of how … just because someone is in a dither about something … doesn’t rule out their getting on with it decisively.

My question is: What does he feel for me? What will he will do regarding to me in next 3 months?

Our Daily Spread for Feb. 19, 2011

Rider Waite Tarot-2-19-11a

He is thrilled about his exciting idea about his money

Hanged Man Star, Page of Swords, King of Pentacles

Business Perspectives: He is thrilled about his exciting idea about his money. His hopes and his fears are intense re his ability to accomplish his purpose here. He really feels he is a VIP: He says so, and he will defend that position against all comers! He has intense fears about the news from the politician(s). He has intense hopes about the politician(s) invasion of his privacy. He has intense hopes about the banksters’ threatening his rights. He understands the news and is paranoid about the mobster(s)/politician(s)/bankster(s). Realize that politicians make a lot of promises and be on your guard. Realize he has so much money and power he is a threat to your enjoyment of life. He is so manipulative that he flatters you when he realizes you are on guard. When the man with money is trying to sell you on his bright idea, beware. What he hears makes him realize his wealth is threatened. Sense/Realize that he is making all these threats to manipulate (you). He relates to the exciting performance and has the idea to be its investor/backer. He knows instinctively how to manipulate you with threats and promises. A rich man realizes his health is imperiled. He knows he has the power but is afraid of what people will say. Romantic Perspectives: He is so crazy about you he fears for his own power. A naked woman is an intense threat to his personal power. He is such a studly dude, and here he is so in love he is intensely nervous. His studly instinct has him all hot and bothered, confessing his feelings. He is in love and very much afraid of being perceived as a studmuffin. The feeling of being so instinctually in love is a challenge to a man who is used to being in control of his situations. She senses he is a great lover and feels the all-over good feeling, the excitement. He knows instinctively how to manipulate you with threats and promises. Told him he is manipulative, he feels very defensive about that. Both the Star and the Page of Swords are about excitement, and the Hanged Man is about instinctual or subconscious realization … and there’s the Studly Dude himself, whose meanings are about money-power-politics. So there are ANY number of scenarios this brew can conjure up, aren’t there? – maybe some you can think of that I haven’t, here. While this King is often a powerful person, even a powerful villain, he is placed here in a Tarot environment that emphasizes feelings, including defensive, nervous feelings. These messages are letting you know you are next to the heater, get close enough to warm up, but not so close you need calamine lotion. Excitement is definitely in the air.

Meanings and Illustrations:

Star: Feeling good, being very healthy, being in love, confessing, confessing love, having a lot to say/gushing, and performance (as in music). Being the star, enthusiasm. The illustration shows a naked woman presumably bathing, pouring jugs of liquid into water, with stars, in daylight, all around. A large bird is in a tree. Page of Swords: Being thrilled or threatened, or paranoid. He stands – weapon upraised defensively – on the high point of a flat prairie, feeling ‘something is out there.’ He is nervous, excited, hyped or riled up, apprehensive, paranoid, in fear, imperiled. Beware! King of Pentacles: This fellow is often full of himself, throws his weight around whether he has any or not. He is flamboyant and manipulative, often has political power of some sort and/or wealth of some sort. He definitely has the sizzle and may have the steak. I love the face on the illustration: That kind of character is well depicted. The orb in his right hand reminds me of a lollipop, and the grapes all over him remind me of some Italian or Italianesque dudes who have statues with grapes on them in their offices. In this spread he is the studly dude because the preceding cards are a naked woman that means feeling good and love (Star) and then a card that in the Rider Waite Tarot means excitement. Hanged Man: This illustration describes the psychic or eureka realization, the way you feel when a thought strikes and you may realize ‘I always knew that, but … ” Here it means ‘intense feeling,’ intense, to know, realization, to sense or feel. It has the ‘feeling’ meaning in common with the Star card as well as the Page of Swords. (If you took the King of Pentacles out of our four today, there would be ALL kinds of meanings coming to the fore.)

Rider Waite Tarot-2-19-11b

Husband pulls off an honest relationship with his intimate partner

King of Wands Temperance, Five of Swords, Hermit

Romantic Perspectives: When it is clear to him he is in an intimate relationship, his pushy angry self takes over. He knows he is being taken advantage of as the husband in this close relationship. Husband’s considerate, helpful, kind nature gets the best of him with his partner. He is dealing with people who take advantage of him because he is an humble common man. Looking for a bad-boy with a temper to have a close relationship with. This relationship calms him down; he is the edgy pushy type. Watching a close relationship between two guys who are combative types. On the husband’s side, helping him show (her) who’s boss. Husband is a bully but also supportive, kind and truthful in their relationship. Being the husband of an equal makes him be understanding. Husband knows he tends to bully his partner. Husband sees his bad attitude and is healing it. Husband is monogamous in his relationship but has ‘an attitude.’ Husband pulls off an honest relationship with his intimate partner. Business and Other Perspectives: A counselor deals with men who are angry. Counsels husbands who are in abusive relationships. He is so even tempered, he gets along with bad-tempered other men. He knows he is being taken advantage of as the husband in this deal. He is an angry man, so he calms himself down when he is ripped off in a deal. An honest workingman drives a hard bargain. He is angry, he will come to your aid and fight on your side. On the side of helping the common man who is being taken advantage of. On the husband’s side, helping him when he has been pushed around/ripped off/taken advantage of. He goes out looking for a fight one-on-one when he is angry and frustrated. He tends to be arrogant, so he looks to be the husband of someone who can deal with that. Look at all the different stories these four tell! Two of them, the King of Wands and the Five of Swords, are about angry abusive men, and the other two are about making peace and a good relationship. The picture we paint here is of an edgy dude who knows and counterbalances his tendency. There is also a theme of helping and understanding. The ‘honest workman’ theme is where the Hermit intersects with the King of Wands. The Hermit is also the counselor. Note that the Five of Swords’ bullying/taking advantage of main meaning can be applied either as the perp or the victim. The message I would carry away from this is that a fellow who is ‘difficult’ is also trying not to be and is in an honest relationship with his partner.

Meanings and Illustrations:

Temperance: Close relationship, intimate relationship, one-on-one relationship, direct one-on-one dealing, with an equal. This card has some similar meanings to the Three of Pentacles. It shows an angel pouring what is supposed to be wine, mixing it with water. Its meaning traditionally is literally ‘Temperance,’ as in W omen’s Christian Temperance Union. In the Middle Ages, adding this made the deck more respectable. I don’t find that kind of meaning expressed by this card at all, ever. Healing is one of its meanings. But today it’s all about relationship and deals. Five of Swords: The illustration shows a cruel guy who – the story goes – told his buddies ‘Let’s play at swords,’ and then, when he won, took theirs as if they were in a duel. So it is about bullying, taking advantage, trickery, and generally being a bastard. In our story today, paired with the King of Wands, a/k/a ‘the angry, irritated, frustrated lower-class man,’ this Rider Waite Tarot card is about being abusive or abused, taking advantage or being taken advantage of, pushing or being pushy, about having a bad attitude. Hermit: This pictures a monk, the polar opposite of the preceding card. The monk searches for people to help them at night on their travels. It means to understand, to know, to be kind and considerate and supportive, to go out and look or search for anything, and to be a counselor. Obviously, to be monogamous or ‘true.’ King of Wands: This, as I said, is the angry irritated frustrated ill tempered possibly lower-class lout, or the workingman, as well as being the main ‘husband’ card. On the illustration, he is a redhead, has the board in his right hand, and the left sort of looks like someone who is going to get up angrily. That lizard is a salamander, symbol of ‘fire’ or anger.

Hanged Man

Star, Page of Swords, King of Pentacles

Business Perspectives:

He is thrilled about his exciting idea about his money.

Romantic Perspectives:

He is so crazy about you he fears for his own power.

Tarot Reading Jan 3 2011

Is it as good as it seems?

Seven of Pentacles

King of Cups, Star, Page of Swords

It seems this guy is so emotional, so excited, so in love.
Why am I upset doubting my guy’s affection when he talks about how he loves me?
Maybe I should worry when the government says things are so promising.
Should I tell him? – he’s so emotional, he will get all riled up.
Does he really love me like he says? – I’m on pins and needles.
This may be a crisis in the news about government.
Calm man is excited:  Can he believe the good news?
He is calm but I guess he is excited about the good news.
Why am I so enthusiastic when the quiet guy is so on guard, so guarded?
Why am I nervous?  He is a good man who says good things.
Why am I on guard when a bureaucrat is so optimistic?
He is so rah-rah, so excited – Why so emotional?
