Tarot Readings for You for November 5, 2013 Tuesday(c)
Guidance contrasts the sweet life of old fashioned trust-based values with factors that are at war with it, both from inside people and outside us. Money, romance, children and divorce: issues, anyone? The underlying message is that a climate of hostility fosters a longing for the real things in life, through the process of continuing realizations. Memories of an abused childhood are coming to you. Being a good person impacts income adversely.

Now, Part Two,
Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,
*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here. It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages.
*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures. It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say. It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.
You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.
This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING
.
The closest we come to a theme with these four Rider Waite Tarot cards is that both Hanged Man and Six of Cups can refer to memories. Hanged Man is a memory flashback, and suddenly remembering something; Six of Cups refers to memories, usually pleasant ones or ones of childhood or old romance – nostalgia for the past.
Six of Cups is our focal point here, with its various meanings:
romance,
children (especially sweet kids),
old-fashioned,
old or quaint house,
trust,
sweet life, sweet honest trusting innocent person, old-fashioned values (of honesty and trust and getting along),
the past,
one’s childhood,
memories and nostalgia.
It can descend from warm and fuzzy into the treacle zone of cute, cutesy-poo, kitsch, and innocent act.
And it is going to combine with the meanings of these three unrelated, dissimilar, Rider Waite Tarot cards:
Three of Wands You ship is coming in, this illustration says. You are waiting, it’s a matter of time before you get the reward, the good thing(s) you are expecting; it’s a sure thing. Three of Wands’ categories of meanings grow directly out of this idea. Income, cash flow, money flow. Waiting. The future. Continuing – which often appears as ‘always’ and ‘will always.’
Three of Wands often modifies another card by putting it into future tense, often by translating ‘will’ or ‘will be.’
Hanged Man refers to the parts of our consciousness that are silent and below awareness (subconscious) to our language oriented mind. But every once in a while the subconscious has something to say. It turns on the lights, and flashes of awareness come through with an emotional jolt – a thought strikes, we are enlightened. We get that disoriented hair-on-fire upside-down feeling that you see in the illustration.
Words Hanged Man most often contributes are realize and realization, aware and awareness, thinking and knowing. ‘Intense’ referring to a feeling – or ‘intensely mindful’ – are Hanged Man’s. So are instinctual, an urge to, inspired to or inspiration, premonition, vision and envision and ‘seeing that.’ A strong feeling, and just knowing are Hanged Man too.
Here are some of his other phrases: dawning on me, memories flashing back, reliving, foresight, insight, ‘get it.’ Deja vu, hunch, and ‘I coulda had a V-8’ belong right here too.
This illustration is as obvious as Three of Wands’. You see a broken heart and a storm, surgery (especially heart surgery). Three of Swords is pain, injury, damage. Another category of meaning for Three of Swords is animosity, hostility, enemy, adversity, hate, being against, cutthroat situation – even abuse.
Three of Swords is one of two divorce cards in Tarot Verbatim™. Divorce, separation, splitting up or having split up, heartache and emotional pain of a broken heart.

.
Three of Wands shows a merchant watching and waiting for his ship with the new merchandise and the money to come into port. He is well-dressed. (Yes that yellow is supposed to be water. Several Rider Waite cards have printer’s error on that yellow color.) It means, as I said above, continuing, income, waiting, money flow, the future (particularly a good future) and an instruction to the reader of the spread to put a verb in future tense.
Hanged Man depicts the disoriented feeling you get when you first realize something or first learn something very meaningful, as it soaks into the rest of what you know. Remember the Sixties song that says ‘I’m Hung upside-down’? Buffalo Springfield. Repeating from above, its meanings are realization, strong feeling, flashbacks, becoming aware, the thought, seeing or knowing – usually with the idea of a suddenness to the realization.
Three of Swords is one of the obvious Rider Waite Tarot cards. Against a background of gray stormy clouds, a stylized paper heart has three swords stuck through it. Meanings are, as I said up there, pain, injury, damage, divorce or split or being separated from someone or something – usually something dear. It means being against, adverse or cutthroat conditions, hostility, hate – even abuse.
Six of Cups depicts a little boy giving a little girl flowers. Behind them is a large quaint dwelling. The sky is blue, no clouds. Colors are soft and the children are well-dressed. Copying all the various meanings I discussed above, romance, children (especially sweet kids), old-fashioned, old or quaint house, trust, sweet life, sweet honest trusting innocent person, old-fashioned values (of honesty and trust and getting along), the past, one’s childhood, memories and nostalgia. It can descend into the treacle zone of cute, cutesy-poo, kitsch, and innocent act.
