We are talking about how something can be perfectly sensible and yet appear ludicrous from some perspective. In the comfort of my own home I feel inspired by my crazy notions. We are talking about how context can make us do a double-take on something we take for granted, something as simple as “You feel strange when you realize your mother is really good-looking” or “Sees the gal he knew as The Babe has settled down and married, and wonders how that happened.”
